Regarding the Fallon story, from the Qatar clip, I think his forced resignation is a great thing. It may be a short-term victory for the Bush-Administration, but it will bite them in the ass in the long run. What we need is a military that realizes the orders they’re being given are not in America’s best interest. The more military leaders the administration removes b/c of philosophical disagreement, the less able Bush is to claim he’s “listening to the advice of our commanders on the ground.” Maybe this will give our “brave men and women in uniform” the backbone to think for themselves.
