Just want to share something with all you here a speech that the late Steve Jobs (CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios) gave to college students from Stanford University in 2005 about LOVE: "You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your WORK as it is for your LOVERS. Your work is going to fill a LARGE PART of your LIFE, and the only way to be TRULY SATISFIED is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep on looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any GREAT RELATIONSHIP, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. DON'T SETTLE"

Lesson Learnt: When you FALL IN LOVE with what you do....fall in love with someone.. No matter what, you will settle with them... But when you still keep looking for something, feel uneasy, not comfortable with what you're currently doing... DON'T SETTLE... Go for something that you LOVE... Go for someone that you LOVE.... HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012... Alhamdulillah...when you got what you LOVE, there's nothing else you want to look for but perform the very best of you to maintain your life with them.... InshaAllah, may this year bring wisdom, peace, cheer, health and wealth to all of us....

The song was long time ago does attract me…
Until to the extend I do own his new album…
Somehow this song reminds me of Him…
How closet He with us, no matter in whatever conditions it takes…
And, remember, He will not burden not a person beyond his/her scope…

So many things to do with so little time...
The situation is getting intense...
Plus with the new scheme for Civil Servants that need to be finish by this year...
Everything becomes quite a chaos...
Need to be here and there...
People keep calling...
Either related to common task or even an ad-hoc one...
Need to be prepared physically and mentally...
Working days have flow over my holidays and there goes my holiday...
What I learn the most, please be sincere to carry on with the task...
Then you won’t feel the tense...
I’m learning it too...
Sue me for being so poignant at the first place...
I do feel irritated since we need to clean a mess of other people...
In return, there’s always silver lining that being arranged by Him...
I do have a chance to know how to read your own records...
So you can get the opportunity to do a check and balance on your own...

Alhamdullilah, KPIK’11 is over...
Such a relief...
Even though there are 1001 stories behind it but it’s over graciously...
Being part of the committee I have to make myself flexible as much as I could...
At first hour being a technical person and few hours later become a mediator for a token of appreciation session...
But that what we called as an EXPERIENCE...
Learn to accept whatever it takes...
Learn to be patience as well as adapt to a hectic situation...

My great honour to be work with them...
Even at the end of the day there’s something went wrong due some technical which cause by others but everybody are cooperative to back up each others...

3 Hari, 2 Nafas & Maal Hijrah 1433

It’s not too late to wish Happy New Year 1433H...
I celebrated it by attending the ceremony at PICC...
In fact, it was part of my job...
I was there with my other sibling...
I wish to be a better person in everything, inshaAllah....
After away from office from quite sometime, it’s hard to arrange my normal schedule...
But somehow it will back to normal soon...
Here, I would like to share one of my emails that I’ve received from my colleague...

HIDUP KITA CUMA DI DALAM 3 HARI:
Semalam ~ Sudah menjadi sejarah.
Hari Ini ~ Apa yang sedang kita lakukan.
Esok ~ Hari yang belum pasti.

Hisablah hari pertama semoga hari yang kedua kita lebih baik kerana mungkin ajal kita pada hari yang kedua.

HIDUP CUMA DALAM 2 NAFAS:
Nafas Naik.
Nafas Turun.

Hargailah Nafas yang naik kerana udara yang disedut adalah pemberian Allah secara percuma dan carilah keredhaan~Nya dalam menggunakannya.

Bertaubatlah dalam Nafas yang kedua kerana mungkin itu nafas yang terakhir keluar dari tubuh bersama nyawa dan roh untuk meninggalkan dunia yang fana ini.

HIDUP CUMA ADA 2 PILIHAN:
Hidup dalam keredhaan Allah.
Hidup dalam kemurkaan Allah.

HIDUP YANG ABADI CUMA ADA 2 TEMPAT:
Kekal di dalam neraka.
Kekal di dalam syurga.

Ingatlah kecelakaan neraka itu amat mengerikan dan kita hanya diyakinkan oleh keyakinan kita kepada rukun IMAN. Rukun Iman itu pula ada 6 dan apabila hilang salah satu daripadanya maka hilanglah ia.
Kelazatan dan kesejahteraan syurga itu maha HEBAT.
Tidak terduga oleh fikiran kita dan untuk mendapatkannya terjemahkan rukun ISLAM yang 5 itu dan puncaknya adalah SOLAT...
Amat sukar untuk dipercayai bagi yang ingin ke SYURGA tetapi tidak bersolat, umpama seorang yang mahu menaiki kapal terbang, tetapi tidak mempunyai 'boarding pass'.
Dan mereka yang sengaja melalaikan solat, umpama mengeposkan sepucuk surat tanpa melekatkan setem... Apabila ditanya bagaimana surat itu akan sampai pada penerimanya ... Lalu dia pun berkata setemnya akan dihantar kemudian.

Ada 2 penyelesaian dalam kes ini :
Dia mungkin didenda ... atau,
Suratnya masuk tong sampah.

Oleh itu, tidakkah kita semestinya bersyukur atas segala nikmat yang Allah kurniakan kepada kita ...
Sekurang-kurangnya Allah telah memberi udara secara percuma untuk kita berzikir mengingati~Nya setiap detik dan ketika, hinggalah kita kembali kepada Allah dalam keadaan jiwa yang tenang ... lalu masuk ke dalam syurga dalam keadaan kita redha dan Allah meredhai.

Semoga kita semua berbahagia + sejahtera senantiasa... di dunia jua di akhirat kelak serta di dalam rahmat Allah s.w.t.

Meeting Escape...

Been there for more than a week...
It was quite stressful session...
But it was fun too!!!
Mixing with people that more of less same with you is something that you need once a while...
In matter of fact I wasn’t supposed to be there but due some technical flaw, I was there...
Thanks to the committee for the mistake since I do learnt lot and lots from the session...
Indeed I’ll be missed the people that always with me for past week...
Looking forward to meet them near future, inshaAllah... =)

Firstly I would like to say congrat’s to E & L in conjuction with your wedding on last Saturday...
The reception took place in De Palma Hotel, Shah Alam...
I would still remember its nice bread butter pudding...
De Palma is quite fond to me since I was there for many occasion...
Regardless during my days a uni student as well as when I’ve officially no more a student...
The E & L reception was a sweet one...
From the outfit of the bride and groom, the video and the door gift...
Everything looks perfect...

A Journey to Henry Gurney...

It’s a tough journey...
We do go about the City of Malacca since none of us know the exact way to go there...
It’s quite thrilling but it worth it...
We get to know certain roads in Malacca...
Once we reach the place, the feeling started to change...
All this while we just imagine that it’s just a normal school but being filled by bunch of mischievous kids...
But it beyond that...
The main entrance already being guarded by the Prison Officer...
While we’re driving to find a suitable parking place of boss called us...
It’s being appeared to us that we need to leave our belonging either in car or find a locker outside the school compound...
Then the journey begins...
Being brief by its people there...
On the way to the main hall, we could see some student stand by with their band instrument...
When all the VVIP already in their position, the ceremony took place...
The main reason I was there with my few collague since our workplace handling a programme there...
The ceremony was actually providing me a new different perspective...
The speech given by one of top gun from Prison Officer did give me some insight...
In a word I shall say the journey there was a good one despite I was thinking not to go since at first place I wanted to apply for a leave since it was my former student comvocation in UPM...

P/s: To the residents of Henry Gurney, I do hope you guys did finds something while you’re staying there... To my former students, Congratulations!!! May all of you success in your future undertakings...

For me, decision is something that you’ll gamble on the outcomes...

He Knows The Best For Us...

I’ve always been seeing the above phrase...
Either through email, website, blog, novel entry or even a small excerpt that is being embedded in a pictures or music...
It came appear to me that He always and will always be know what the best for us...
Most of the time, I do question why something that does suit my preferences happen to me...
Yeah, I know I’m such ungrateful person...
Easily questioned something that I might not know what the silver-lining behind everything that does happen to me...
However, I’m sort of lucky enough to realize that something happen must be reasons behind it...
If there’s no any ground, they must be something that eventually we’ll know soon enough...
Patience is the most important things that always need to be with us...
It hard to get and hold it, but the end of it such a sweetest feeling that can never be bought...
As a friendly reminder, to me and all of us, lets us smile whenever the hard things invade us...
Always remember, He’ll be there for us always...

P/s: Just coming back from the Southern of Peninsular of Malaysia... Been there for works... Learn and manage to finish lots of things, alhamdullilah... =)

What Happen If We Do Answer Like This???

Kenapa Lambat? = Kerana Allah tahu masa yang terbaik untukku.
Dah Berpunya? = Ya... Kerana setiap orang telah ditetapkan jodoh masing-masing.
Sape? = Nanti Allah akan diperkenalkan kepada semua.
Bila? = Bila kami sudah disatukan... InshaAllah jemput datang ke Walimatul urusku nanti...

For me it just a perfect answer to satisfy people questions...
But I know, it quite bland to say this to the people older than us...
To be truth, it just a nice answer...
I like the part when... cause only He knows when the time is right and it's our calling...
Why I'm posting this entry because I do sick to answer people questions...
I know they care (mode: like I am a very lovable) but I just can't hold it anymore...
I'm just tired to answer it...
Maybe because the surrounding sometimes put a pressure...
After all, I'll try my best to make people comfort with my question...
Nonetheless, please pray the best for me...
I surrender my fate to Him, He know better...

Open Office + Open House + Pyscology Course

Syawal 1432H just left few more days...
Every people seem to take a chance by organizing either Open Office or Open House...
Alhamdullilah, a lot of people inviting me to their open house...
But due to several reasons, I have to let down some of them...
Really regret actually...
But everything happens for its own reasons that only He know better...
Again, I would like to give my thanks to the Almighty Allah since my IED Open Office sail smoothly...
The event was a 2 in 1 event... we combine the Eid Gathering together with AGM for IED Charity Committee...
Successfully hand over my post to the new teams... such a relief... really a big one...
To all colleagues in IED, I do ask for your forgiveness if I did do things that not meet to all the members of IED Charity Committee request...
Enough on the anything that associated to all open office and open house...
During the busy week, I’m able to attend one of psychology course...
It was a good one... a very good one...
At first I thought it just like a normal course that I would always attend...
But it’s beyond that...
Everything inch of the course does give the new insight in me...
Such a blessing to be choosed from all the officers...
InshaAllah I’ll try my best to apply whatever is good in the course habitually...

Chow Kit Road...

Actually today was my first time to visit this very well-known road...
Until to an extend that the late Sudirman Hj. Arshad wrote a song about this road...
We’re (read: me, my lil sis & Farah) there since we’re on mission in finding some souvenir for our office events...
The idea to find souvenir from the very famous road was came from one of our senior colleague...
So he was the tour guide for us today...
It’s quite funny since it was first time we were there...
We kind of surprises when seeing lots of shop offering lots of things until we’re thinking we are in Bangkok maybe...
After walking from one shop to another we finally made a final decision to buy a souvenir that we think quite resemble with our office...
It was a simple gift from 2010/2011 IED Charities Committee...
Since we’re there, we did do some shopping spree for the colleague that received their first bundle of joy...
It just like kills two birds with a stone...
On the whole, it was a memorable trip to the one of the spot of Kuala Lumpur...
Having a plan to visit there again...
=)

Story of My Syawal 1432H...

It’s already 11th of Syawal...
Alhamdullilah...
How fast the time flies...
I'm on Eid leave for only 2 days...
This year the Eid celebration was quite different...
After few years we didn’t actually go back on the first week of Eid to my dad’s hometown, it such a good feeling...
This year my mum’s would like to go and “jalan-jalan” instead of staying at Kuala Pilah...
But the price that we need to pay is that many of my late Uwan and Atuk relatives keep calling and messaging us asking where were we....
Pity them...
In overall, it’s a good Eid even though I’m still thinking that this Ramadhan was a very short one...
Few of my close clans and friends say the same things too...
Besides the Eid, it was Malaysia 54th Independent Day...
But no parade taking place as it falls on Eid...
The Merdeka celebration postponed to the Malaysian Day which falls on 16th September... so it going to be another public holidays...
Public means lot and lots of feast are on the way...
Will make sure to attend as many “kenduri” as I could, inshaAllah....
Besides the memorable Merdeka, it was my lovely dad birthday...
It was on 3rd September where we did a small celebration in our humble nucleus family...
Me and my others 2 sisters were given a duty to cook something simple and taraa the Seafood Tom Yam Spaghetti takes place...
Lucky since my dad like it even some other the taste were not up to what we expected...
But I guess it OK since it was a first try from us...
The reason we were choosing seafood since during Eid we’re feed with lots and lots of red meat...
At the end of the day, I was a good celebration... =)
To my ever loving dad, Happy Birthday!!! May Allah bless... Thanks for being there always...
Tendering us with your love and being a man of my life and my two sister’s life too...
Not forgetting his darling which is my mum...
It’s such a blessing...

It already at the end of Ramadhan...
Just a few days to go before Syawal say it hello to us...
How much good deeds that we already done???
I should be asking the question to myself too...
Seems lots of thing need to double up...
Works seem to be as always...
Never show a sign to be reduced...
That normal...
However,
Yesterday was a good day to me...
Meeting my old buddies just make me feel much blissful...
After few months never met them or some of them even a year, just a gift from Him...
Catching lots of things make us miss our alma mater...
Looking forward to do a gathering or maybe a sweet escape with all of them...
Below I would like to share an article that is very thoughtful...

5 Short & Sweet Ways To Make Du'a

As we all know, Ramadan is a great time to spiritually recharge! It’s also a great time to make Dua.

Every year for the past 3 years I’ve made a Dua list. At the start of Ramadan I write down a list of 7 to 8 things that I want the most and I memorize them. I make dua for each item on the list every day of Ramadan at the times that dua are more likely to be accepted. I can personally tell you all that it does wonders. Honestly, things I’ve asked for persistently and I did not think would, have come true.

It’s incredible. I look back and can’t believe I’ve gotten so many of things I asked so desperately for, Allah truly does not leave the hands of a believer empty when raised to Him. I get excited every year around this time because I get to make that wish list again.

I would highly recommend making a personal dua list of your own! As an incentive, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah is angry with those who do not ask Him for anything” (Tirmidhi). Why incur His wrath?

Some things to consider when writing your dua list:

1. Write it all down

Put down what you want to ask for on paper or on your phone so for the first few weeks you don’t miss a single item. It can be as long as you want! It can be private and you don’t need to share it with others so feel free to only make a list of keywords to remind you of each item.

2. Ask anything & everything that is good

When choosing your items, imagine that Allah is asking you to ask Him for anything and everything you’ve ever wanted! Imagine the possibilities. Write down everything you want to ask Allah with no limitations (but keep it halal!). Remember folks, you’re asking Al Mujeeb – the One Who Responds and is the Supreme Answerer.

3. Organize

Try separating your duas into categories so you know that you’ve properly hit each one. I would recommend: dunya, akhirah, ibadah, the ummah, and relationships. For each category, think about what you would like the most and start listing them.

4. Make the dua when duas are most likely answered

These times include right before breaking the fast, during your salah in sujood and after the obligatory prayers, Qiyam ul layl, the last 10 nights etc. I personally make mine right before breaking my fast during iftaar.

5. Remember the etiquettes of dua

There is a right and proper way to make dua. Remember that we must praise Allah first, ask for peace and blessings upon our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and then make our dua.

I pray you all have a meaningful and successful Ramadan full of barakah. May Allah preserve you all to reap the benefits of such a Holy month and bring you closer to Him. May He give you all strength, knowledge, patience and humility. Ameen!

Lately, there are so many status that I would consider to put up in my FB wall since it's quite meaningful...

As a human, we always need to do a self-reflection (a.k.a muhasabah diri)...
Most of time, it will make you be more thankful for what you have or own today...

When I was a kid, I didn't have a laptop, iPod, Blackberry, PS3 or iPad. I played outside with friends, bruised my knees, made up stories and played hide and seek. I ate what my mom/caretaker made. I would think twice before I said "NO" to my parents. Life wasn't hard, it was good and I survived. Kids these days are spoiled. Re-post this if you appreciate the way you were raised.

Allah doesn't have a Blackberry or an iPhone , but He's my favourite contact. He doesn't have Facebook , but He's my best friend. He doesn't have Twitter , but I follow Him and He doesn't have internet , but I'm connected to Him. Copy and paste this as your status if you think Allah is Great. ♥♥♥

My Husband has made me laugh, wiped my tears, hugged me tight, saved my life, watched me succeed, seen me fail, cheered me on, kept me going strong, put up with my mood swings, has said everything will be alright when things get tough, keeps me sane.
