Helloooo ladies and gents :)

Remember last year when I held my October Charity Drive? We raised a total of $200 between all of you generous ladies and my own contribution. WELL, it's that time of year again!

I'm combining a few things this time:

- I'm moving! It was a last minute decision but I'm heading down to my parents' house for a few months (and is also why I haven't announced my giveaway winner yet -- things have been very hectic here, and I apologize!). This means LOTS of packing.. which means I need to clear inventory.. which means deals for you! I'll post more about this later.

- Longer period of time: This time, it's not only going to be for the month of October.. it's extending all the way through Thanksgiving (my way of giving thanks for all of the support to enable me to continue on to a second holiday season!), all the way until I close orders for the holiday season (early December). This way, you get to combine gift-purchasing and giving to charity.. all at once!

- The ultimate reason: giving back to society and those who are in need. The two charities that I have chosen this year are RedCross.Org (American Red Cross) or Cancer.Org (American Cancer Society). If there's another charity of your choice, let me know in the comments below and I may add a third organization to the list if there are enough votes :) HOWEVER, be sure to include a secondary choice (ARC or ACS) in case your charity was not added to the list.

- On that note, I am thinking of setting up a separate PayPal account for anyone who wants to donate without purchasing or donating more than their purchase out of the own generosity of their heart to this MotoJewelry Charity Drive. Let me know if this option interests you at all ^^

This year:

- $10 of your order will go to the charity of your choice. Whether you order by the "add cart" feature on each post or if you send me an e-mail, be sure to include which charity you would like your donation to be directed towards!

- On orders above $50, 20% of your order will be donated to the charity of your choice (since 20% of $50 is $10... the more you purchase, the more you give! makes sense, right?). Again, be sure to include the name of the charity you wish to donate to.

- Free first class shipping on US domestic orders of $50 or more, international for $65 or more.

- Free priority shipping on orders of $75 or more for US domestic orders. International orders, free shipping on $90 or more!

- Follow me on Twitter to get ahead of the game! Items are usually posted there before they are posted on the blog, I occasionally post "free shipping" codes or other discount codes, and sometimes I even post pieces with a "Twitter only" discounted price.

So, in appreciation of all of you wonderful customers, friends and followers, I've decided to host a giveaway :) for reaching 100 orders *and* 150+ followers! I feel so touched from all of the love and support I've received. I started MotoJewelry one week when I was sick and bored out of my mind (sigh, being bedridden) and never imagined that I would still be making jewelry over a year and a half later with customers ranging from neighbors to across the oceans!

Plus, hey. I'm graduating this Sunday and I feel like spreading the good feeling ^_^

Now, on to the rules and method of entry...

Pearly Baubles

I was recently commissioned (woohoo, keep the custom orders coming in! =P) by Kai to make some pearl-only clusters -- one pair in whites/cremes and one pair in blacks/greys. Here's how they turned out:

I included two pictures for each pair because I believe earrings look quite different when they're laid out flat versus when you wear them (I need to get a jewelry stand that I can hang them from so I can take higher quality pictures!).

To keep the pairs interesting, I took three similar shades in both lights and darks and mixed them together... I think they turned out quite nicely :) a slight variation from my first pair of earrings ever on Moto Jewelry.

Since there are a FEW color variations... and since I haven't made any others yet, I figured I would let these be custom-only, so there won't be a PayPal drop down "buy now" button for these. AKA e-mail orders ONLY for these! Sorry girls, hope you don't mind.

Currently thinking of making a pair of the whites/cremes in gold! :)

A custom creation for my friend Nikki!

I realized we didn't take close-up pictures of it laying on the ground but I also think that with necklaces like this, you don't really know what it looks like until someone models it. And yes, before someone feels the need to point it out, we did mix silver, gold and bronze. Yes, it was on purpose.

I'm going to be making another necklace like this (but in different colors and in all gold) and will probably take pictures and post it up.. but it won't be for another month or two, because I need to head home before I make it (to shop for beads, etc).
