Welcome to Pandora. So you want to hear another story eh.. One where the very fate of Pandora hangs in the balance? If not, too bad - I'm telling you anyway. - Borderlands 2

The above is a line from the latest released Borderlands series. Well if you haven't heard of Borderlands yet, then I feel bad for you. You should really check it out though. Here is the opening song used in Borderlands 1.

Meaningful and powerful song I would say. Well if you hadn't had enough of that song (at least I know I played that song countless times =p) let me present you the opening song used in Borderlands 2.

Yet another great song. I really like how the developers of Borderlands use songs like these as opening sequence. It conveys real powerful message if you listen to the lyrics carefully. And to couple with that, the game itself is f**king awesome. (pardon me for the **)

If you haven't realized by now, yes I'm promoting and recommending this game to you. If you have not played the first Borderlands, go get it!! While you're at it, get the second one as well. I won't bother writing a review of the game because it's all over the Internet. What I'm gonna do is to help you by summarizing the reviews.

Here is the summarized version of ALL reviews combined, in point form mind you (yes sue me if you think it's biased):

It's a FPS game. Mild dizziness might occur due to the cell shaded concept.
It's a shoot and loot RPG combined with co-op for wicked mission attempts.

3 years has passed since the last post =P. Thought it would be nice to update this blog. It seems that the blog is still alive albeit it mostly being spams. I'm gonna try updating this blog again with random stuffs as usual.

Another thought: Perhaps blog name should be changed to "Rants when I feel like it"?

OK enough of rant. Time for some random stuff. Today I present you...

Another Awesome Dance Arrangement

Well this time I'm gonna post a video about a group of around 200 dancers dancing to the song "Do-Re-Mi" from Sound of Music. This was done in Belgium's Antwerp Central Station and the amazing thing is, they only rehearsed twice before doing this dance. AWESOME!!!!

It may seem very messy at first....but when more people starts to join in, it actually looks awesome. People from young to old joined in this dance which makes it even more awesome because all of them can actually coordinate together dancing. The other thing is the techno beat towards the middle of the music. It was actually mixed nicely as it transit smoothly from the original song to the techno beat and then back to the original rhythm haha...

Anyway hope you guys enjoyed the video...will post more awesome videos if I can find it... :-)

Alright, I know it's been ages since I posted. Well just finished passing up all the assignments and walaa decided to post. But I just had to post this video up by Jon Schmidt. This is his new song from him upcoming album "Bonus Track" which would be released somewhere around May. Well this song is a combination of both song namely "Love Story" by Taylor Swift and "Viva la Vida" from Coldplay. This arrangement is entitled "Love Story meets Viva la Vida".

Not sure whether you guys had actually watched it, but let me just tell you this. This arrangement is freaking awesome. It's so awesome that I just need to post this LOL!!! Anyway here is the video. And oh remember to watch the story behind this song haha....

So after watching this video...what do you think? Is it better having two songs seperately or better with both songs combined? I showed this video to few of my friends and they actually liked it.

ZOMG!!! It's back

ZOMG!!!! The blog is updated again...haha....Yea I know it's been quite long since I last updated. Well as usual was busy and sometimes did not feel like updating it....

But having over 25000 hits on my blog, I can't bare to see it not updated haha...So I'm back with a quick update just to keep this blog alive...Will update more when I actually have more time....

It's been ten days since I last posted LOL......although was suppose to be rushing for assignments but distractions got into me...having RA3 and COD4 installed in my comp and PSP having so many new games, I am seriously distracted...hahaha....SQL assignment dateline has been postponed..which means I can have time to be distracted...but will be concentrating more on the group assignment first...due date coming up soon...LOL....Anyway as usual, I will try to update this blog if I can...and now for some lulz....

Now how many of you remember a guy named Guy Fawkes?? I am sure most of you have not heard of this name before.... (unless you troll often in the internet and you are a /b/tard or ever heard of V for Vendetta? ).

Guy Fawkes & the Gunpowder Plot
Words of "Remember Remember" refer to Guy Fawkes with origins in 17th century English history. On the 5th November 1605 Guy Fawkes was caught in the cellars of the Houses of Parliament with several dozen barrels of gunpowder. Guy Fawkes was subsequently tried as a traitor with his co-conspirators for plotting against the government. He was tried by Judge Popham who came to London specifically for the trial from his country manor Littlecote House in Hungerford, Gloucestershire. Fawkes was sentenced to death and the form of the execution was one of the most horrendous ever practised (hung ,drawn and quartered) which reflected the serious nature of the crime of treason.

The Tradition begins...

It serves as a warning to each new generation that treason will never be forgotten. In England the 5th of November is still commemorated each year with fireworks and bonfires culminating with the burning of effigies of Guy Fawkes (the guy). The 'guys' are made by children by filling old clothes with crumpled newspapers to look like a man. Tradition allows British children to display their 'guys' to passers-by and asking for " A penny for the guy".

I installed photoshop into my system...yay...lol....will begin to explore the features soon enough and if I am good enough I might post up some of my work here...

Anyway not gonna brag about photoshop since I know many of you can do it way better than me. Just wanna brag about something that I can do way better than most of you if not all of you...hahaha.....I will be taking my Diploma in Performance for piano by end November and like some of you would know, I am suppose to come up with detailed analysis of the pieces I am suppose to play. For example, the composers, the feeling of the song and what is the song trying to say....

Although I may be good in playing piano however asking me to write this analysis is something that would be hard for me to do....DANG!!!!....Still thinking of how to actually write it out....Enough of bragging..let me show you a video....

Only one thing to say....I want to watch this movie......I got a few friends who told me that this movie is funny and nice....and yeah since I am into music this kind of show is suitable for me....in fact I can actually watch any movie except for ghost movies because they actually make me fall asleep (not bragging here..lol)...Hopefully I will have time to go and watch it....hahaha....maybe on the next post I can put more upcoming movie's trailer if and only if I am free to do that.... :P.... *background music playing some sentimental song* Today I learnt something very important. Firstly is to always backup my PSP save data in case any mishap happens and secondly is my first photoshop picture...LOL

Today I almost lost my PSP but thanks to my friend who picked it up for me. If not for him, I would have lost my PSP of almost one year..... *sentimental music still playing* Since we are rushing for lunch, I guess I must have not kept my PSP properly in my bag. When it fell out from my bag I seriously did not feel it. After lunch only did I realised I had lost it. I started panicking and tried to trace back the steps to find it....in the end when I went back to class the PSP was in my bag. My friend found it and gave it back....oh thank god....LOL.....and my friends around me is like..."Did you back up your save data? Cause if not you'll need to restart MHF2G.. " I seriously LOL'D that time...haha....

*Sentimental music stops. Bass Hunter - Boten Anna playing in the background lol* Now let's talk about the second thing i learnt. Photoshop. Two post ago I actually asked anyone to help me learn photoshop and today in lab i did it for the first time. I'm not gonna show you the end result because it's kinda bad...lol.......btw it was related to sporn creatures if you know what I meant...LOL....I was satisfied with the end result and man I am so gonna start photoshop-ing if I am able to....hahaha......

Maxis Center - It is so bad that it needs a blog post of its own!!!

There is a saying where it says, "Until you experience it, you will never know how it feels". I finally know what the saying means. My maxis sim card spoiled out of a sudden so decided to go to maxis center for a replacement. Went to the nearest maxis center in Endah Parade. There was a little crowd so I waited for my turn.

When my turn came, I told them that I would like to replace my sim card as it has spoiled and the lady there asked for my number. Conversation goes like this:

Me: My number is 017-6*****3.

Lady: Under what name ah this number???

Me: Says my name

Lady: It can't be you because you are so young.

Me: Huh? It's my name and of course I am young.

Lady: Nono...It says here that your IC number is in the year of '59.

Me: Huh?? No way it can be '59. (brings out IC for verification)

Lady: (checks the IC and said:) No but here it says '59.

Me: But can't you see my IC number there. The address is also there. So it's not my mistake.

Lady: Oh ok. Sorry but we can't do replacement for you if your details is wrong. You need to go to the walk in center in KL.

I was pissed that it took so long for her just to ask me to go to KL for replacement. When she knew that my IC and the details on their system she should have said so. Why is she constantly talking about the year of birth??? Never mind. Decided that it's still early so drove to Times Square. There was a bit of jam but what to do. I will need to replace my card or people will not be able to contact me..

Reached Times Square after being stuck on the jam for roughly 30 minutes. There were promoters standing outside the shop and asked me if I want their postpaid plan. I said no and there is another lady coming to me to assist me. So I told her that I need to replace my sim card and she asked me to take a sit.

This is the conversation.

Me: My number is 017-6*****3 and it is registered under my name. (brings out IC along)

Lady: Ok but there is some mistake on the IC number.

Me: Yeah, the center in Endah Parade told me to come to any of the KL center to make changes.

Lady: Are you sure? Because they can actually change it for you if they are an authorised maxis center.

Me: (WTF)But she told me to come to KL center. (starting to get pissed for being tricked)

Lady: I am sorry but let me just change the details for you.

(after 5 minutes)

Lady: Ok. Your details have been changed. How may I help you.

Me: I need to replace my sim card cause it's spoiled.

Lady: I am sorry but we are unable to replace for you currently because our server has been down since morning.

Me: (So freaking pissed off) Why don't you tell me earlier when I first came in and told you that I need to replace my sim card?

Lady: I am sorry but you did not mentioned that you need to replace the sim card.

Me: If I did not ask you WHY DO YOU ASK ME TO SIT DOWN?????

Lady: It's our courtersy to the customers.

Me: If it is courtersy, where is your courtersy to listen to my needs when I FIRST CAME IN???

Lady: I am sorry I must have missed that. Our server should be up in the evening.

Me: I am not gonna wait. I have gone to two centers and both are a waste of time. (walks off)

I was so freaking pissed at the service they provide. One is so freaking lazy to do a replacement for me and asked me to go to KL. One did not actually listen to the needs of the customer. Despite making so much advertisement and promoting their service, why don't they use the money to train their personnel first???? DAMN....what a waste of time!!!! I still have not replaced my sim card yet. And the next time I go and they give me all this BS again...I will just stick to DiGi then. At least DiGi does not charge for replacement while maxis charges for everything that you want to do.

Not sure of what to post so I'll just rant for today. Work was as usual. Started at 10am and supposingly to end at 9pm however decides to go back home early at 7pm. Yes I work for 11 hours on a Saturday.

College's starting next week and the timetable is one @#$%ed up crap. Classes are conducted everyday and there are only TWO and i repeat, TWO subjects. Not only that, classes starts as early as 8.30am and on some days end at 5.30pm. Imagine meeting the same lecturer in one day for a few classes.....DANG!!!!! And also I can't imagine dragging myself up every morning just to attend class on time. I might be able to for the first few days however over the days I will be getting lazy considering the fact that I am sleeping so early in the morning LOL......Some motivation like MHF2G might help...LOL.....
