Note to self.

Holing on to the past will get you nowhere. Go out and meet new people. It's that easy.

To the one I will call my own one day...

2014

2014-01-19T02:43:00.001+08:00

The year start off on a good start. I was one of the recipients of the Silver Award which was held at Kallang Theatre. It was really eye opener and I brought a few good points back to digest, learn n then execute. Well I hope the rest of 2014 will be kind to me.

It's The Simple Things in Life We Forget.

Life Goes On . . .

2013-06-19T03:11:00.003+08:00

A good friend sent me this and after reading it I realised that the symptoms are more or less what I am feeling now. Diarrhea & light colored stools, Dark Urine, Chronic Constipation, Headaches, Anxiety & depression. I guess more in that order. So how does one perform liver cleansing when this is no alcohol involve. (Sigh!)

The Amazing Liver, treat the wrong way and it gives you a whole lot of problems.

Just taking things one day at a time.

Come Together . . .

2013-06-09T01:03:00.001+08:00

Aunt Nancy invited us over for some awesome dinner on Friday. She wanted to show her cozy house before she sells it off. Nice place with a great view on 16 floor and natural air-con. Yes, I really thought the fan was on when we just beside the window. The dinner was great with homemade liver satay. Yes, her very own specialty but I am no fan of liver... We left the place about 8ish and I took the train back to Yishun and met up with Joanne, Sarah & Pat for supper(?) at Macs @ Safra Yishun. We had a good time catching up and we totally enjoyed ourselves as always.

Today I went to see the doctor with regards to my liver. The doctor told me that I have fatty tissues in my liver. Told me to do a blood test and see him in 6 months time. And yes I forgot to ask the doctor where do I go from here. Like what am I supposed to do. I guess I will send an email to the doctor tmr.

Another thing that has been bothering me lately is this stupid migrants. Well, I think it is... sigh. One thing leads to another ...

Everyday I'm Shufflin . .

2013-05-27T01:58:00.001+08:00

About a month back, I mistakenly left my I pod Shuffle in my shirt pocket and left it for laundry. I only realised like the next day. My I pod was still intact but it was gone. Press the play button but it was dead. Even by contacting with I Tunes, nothing happened. So I just left it one side for a few weeks. One fine day, I decided to give it another try, hook it with I Tunes, and restored my I Pod and let it charge. Well, what can i say, it worked and Everyday I'm Shufflin . . !! :D

The video killed the radio star . . .

2013-05-21T00:13:00.001+08:00

I went for my scan this morning at S.G.H. Radiology Dept. Went through the normal registration, and proceeded to counter 11 where I had a key to locker where I had to change to those samurai outfits.

As soon as I am done, I heard my name. This pretty gal was calling me and she led me to a room and closed the door behind me. She told me to take off one layer of the outfit with the second layer intact. She's the radiologist that will be scanning me. Cool. :]

So we went through the normal procedure, she put some liquid on the body whilst she can my kidneys n stomach. At one time she was moving about my body with scanner thing so fast that I asked her if she is trying to catch something that is moving in body. And of course, she laughed.

So scan done in about 40 mins; her senior came in later to do final check also and I was done. I will now have to wait till June 6 to have the consultation with the doctor who will go thru the images and let me know if there is anything that I should be worried of. :/

Before the check-up today, I had constipation. My last consultation with the doctor, I had diarrhea. What's next?

Well, it's going to be a short week with a party to look forward to on Thursday with the HR dept. Will upload pics if I am able to take some pics..

Good Night!!

2013-04-16T00:48:00.002+08:00

Caught up with my beautiful neighbour for dinner on 25 March. Although she lives next block to me, we hardly get the chance to see each other. That's how busy we are. :D Anyways, we had a great time catching up with one another and taking pics. But I guess this was the nicest ones that she decided to post on facebook.

What Happened in 2012 (Part 3)

2013-01-25T03:34:00.000+08:00

Here we go again.... I met up with a good friend Sabrina after my KL trip. We kinda like meet up every x'mas and catch up. This time around we had brunch at P.S. Cafe @ Dempsey. We originally wanted to go the branch at Ann Siang Hill but on the day itself, she changed to Dempsey as she managed to get her dad's car. So off to Dempsey we went.

It was crowded when we arrived so we had to wait like 15 mins for a table. The downside is there is no sofas or chairs for patrons to sit and relax while waiting for their table. We finally got a seat... outside, if u do fancy nature this is the place for you!! You will have a bee or two, buzzing to your table attracted to the cubes of sugar. Ants on the ground looking very busy. The peacefulness and the very nice smell of nature. However, soon the clouds were turning against us and it started to drizzle so we asked for table inside. No bee to worry inside. They had this very big x'mas tree inside that went up through the roof. I wonder if it's still there. After brunch we carried our conversation to ben & jerrys where i had a corona and she had tea or was it coffee? We caught up with what was going on in our lives, who we are seeing etc.. All in all, it was a beautiful Sunday with a beautiful friend!!

New Year's Eve saw me attending a concert @ Woodlands Civic Plaza attending Corrinne's band 'EMRYE''s gig! I arrived at the stroke at midnight. The fireworks were going off as I made my way to the stage. Couldn't find the guys so I called Melvin but couldn't hear him. Pat called me but I still didn't know where they were but I somehow eventually found them at the side of the stage. Mel's was recording the concert and the rest of us were enjoying it. Corrinne was awesome, never seen her so alive on stage. Here's just one of videos that I think is awesome!!

After the concert, we 'tau-pau' some food and headed to Peter Anthony's place to chill. I ordered prata of course... 1 egg and 2 kosong. What I got was 2 eggs and 1 kosong. Not a bad start to the new year. After eating, we just chilled in the hall exchanging stories and the drinks began. Sally joined us with a friend, a cool dude but I forgot his name. He brought some life to the party and started a game which I can remember what it was.... of course the loser had to drink. Soon the game died down as I guess everyone was tired. I finished my corona and had coffee after that. Sally and her friend, left soon after as she had to work on x'mas day. Suso joined us just about the time when we were leaving. Forrester, Patricia & Peter kept him company. Mel drove us (Corrinne, Alyssa & me) home and so it was the end of the 2012 and a start of a brand new year. At this point, I wanna thank Peter for his hospitality again.

Looking back, 2012 did pass by very fast. Made some new friends but 2013 will see me letting go of some friends not worth keeping. Yes, I know that as we get older our priorities change but still there's always a time for a cup of coffee. However, if you still that I am not worth your time then I shall not waste your fucking precious time. Yes, I am Idiot, a Loser, microphone abuser but I will slowly but surely build myself up and be somebody within the next two years!!
