So this year 2011 and today, Malaysia celebrate it’s 54th Independence Day ( Hari Kemerdekaan Malaysia 2011 ) on celebrated on Wednesday, 31 August 2011. The Malaysia national independence will be celebrated throughout August 2011 and possibly extended to mid-September 2011.

"Transformasi berjaya, rakyat sejahtera", hoping to the transformation of the structure management in building country hope the economy and the stable country, hopefully got to be maintain. Instead of rakyat want get their contribution in order to diminish the miskin in year 2020 mission.

The celebration last year was slightly toned down due to Ramadan still being in progress, however, this year Hari Merdeka and Hari Raya (the end of Ramadan festivities) fall nearly on the same day. I expect one heck of a celebration!

Malaysia is a relatively young country! They only just gained their independence from the British on August 31, 1957. Speaking with older Malaysians who watched the country being born is exciting; us Americans cannot really relate.

Expect August 31st to be filled with the usual flag waving, a parade, military presentation, and lots of cultural activities. Traffic usually peaks out as tourists come to see what is going on and many local residents enjoy a rare day with family rather than at work.

Other than that, Jalan Sultan Hishammuddin, Jalan Lembah Perdana, Jalan Chenderasari dan kawasan sekitar Masjid Negara, sekitar Dataran Merdeka, Pasar Seni, Masjid Jamek, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, Kompleks Sogo, Maju Junction, Masjid Kampung Baru also close.

Synopsis of this movies :

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a 2011 American adventure fantasy film and the fourth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. In the film, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) hero for this film is joined by Angelica (Penélope Cruz) in his search for the Fountain of Youth, confronting the infamous pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane).The plot draws inspiration from the novel On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers, which also inspired the LucasArts game The Secret of Monkey Island. It is directed by Rob Marshall, written by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Little can be said in Depp's - or anyone else in this movie - favor. It's a phoning in of a performance the likes of which we've yet seen from him, but the good news is he's the main character this time around. There's no Will or Elizabeth to play Luke or Leia to his Han Solo, and a ceaseless Jack Sparrow is one of the last things the Pirates franchise needed.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) travels to London to locate a person who has been impersonating him. The impostor has been recruiting a crew to search for the legendary Fountain of Youth. First Sparrow rescues his former first mate, Joshamee Gibbs (Kevin McNally), who is about to be hanged, though the two are captured. Jack is brought before King George II (Richard Griffiths), who wants him to guide an expedition to the Fountain of Youth before the Spanish find it. Heading the expedition is Jack's old nemesis, Captain Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), now a privateer after having lost Jack's ship, the Black Pearl, as well as his leg.

Jack escapes, and is found by his father, Captain Teague (Keith Richards), who warns Jack about the Fountain's tests. Jack then discovers that the impostor is Angelica (Penélope Cruz), his former lover and daughter of the ruthless pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane). Blackbeard forces Jack to join his crew and lead them to the Fountain to circumvent a prophecy that a one-legged man will kill Blackbeard. Meanwhile, Gibbs, who memorized, then destroyed Sparrow's map, joins Barbossa's crew in order to beat Blackbeard and the Spanish to the Fountain.

Aboard Blackbeard's ship, the Queen Anne's Revenge, Angelica reveals that the Fountain's water must be drunk from chalices once belonging to Juan Ponce de León, and that one chalice must contain a mermaid's tear. Whoever drinks the Fountain's water with the tear will absorb the previous and remaining years of the person drinking from the second cup. Knowing this, Blackbeard heads to Whitecap Bay, where he traps a mermaid that a captive missionary, Philip Swift (Sam Claflin), later names Syrena (Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey). Blackbeard then sends Sparrow to steal the chalices from de León's grounded ship. Sparrow arrives finding only Barbossa: the Spanish have already taken the chalices.

Barbossa admits he only wants to kill Blackbeard for capturing the Black Pearl and causing him to amputate his own leg. He and Jack devise a plan to defeat Blackbeard; they then steal the chalices from the Spanish camp nearby. Meanwhile, Blackbeard tricks Syrena, who has fallen in love with Philip, to shed a tear, which he collects then leaves her to die while forcing Philip to go with him. Sparrow returns with the chalices and Gibbs, who he had reunited with while helping Barbossa. Jack blackmails Blackbeard to get his compass back and to free Gibbs in exchange for giving him the chalices and leading them to the Fountain. Blackbeard accepts Jack's terms and Jack continues to lead them, while Gibbs, who is let go, departs with Jack's compass.

At the Fountain, Blackbeard and his crew are attacked by Barbossa and the Spanish, who have been sent by the king to destroy the Fountain, believing it an abomination against God. Barbossa stabs Blackbeard with a poison-laced sword, but Angelica is also wounded by it. Barbossa then steals Blackbeard's sword, which allows him to telepathically control the Queen Anne's Revenge, and escapes alongside Blackbeard's former crew. Philip, mortally wounded, escapes and returns to Syrena and frees her. After finding the chalices and giving them to Sparrow, Syrena returns and takes the dying Phillip underwater to heal him.

Sparrow tricks Blackbeard into drinking from the wrong cup while Angelica drinks from the other, killing Blackbeard and saving Angelica. However, suspecting she may try to avenge her father's death, Sparrow strands her on an island, intending for a passing ship to find her. After much bantering, they both declare their love for each other, but Jack still leaves her on the island knowing she is untrustworthy. Jack then meets up with Gibbs, who used Sparrow's compass to find the Revenge and has retrieved all the shrunken ships, including the Black Pearl, before Barbossa sets sail. The two head off, hoping to return the Pearl to its original size.

In a post-credits scene, Angelica -still on the island- finds Blackbeard's voodoo doll of Sparrow which has washed ashore.

Xmen First Class Trailer, and Synopsis.

Yosh, next month, 3 June 2011, just only 2,3 weeks to go this epic movies from marvel productions to watch this movies.

Synopsis Xmen First Class:

“Charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.”

The Screenrant article seems to be sure that “to stop Armageddon” means the X-Men character Armageddon and not “Armageddon” as in the end of the world. (They didn’t even consider that it could mean “Armageddon” as in the Michael Bay film, and that X-Men First Class was all about stopping a movie from going into production. Shame on them.)

Actually, I think the end of the world “Armageddon” makes much more sense than the character for a few reasons:

1) Armageddon was partially created by Jean Grey, who is not in the movie,

2) The plot synopsis refers to Professor X and Magneto as men and mutants but it never refers to Armageddon as either,

3) The movie reveals a “secret history of famous global events,” which sounds in line with an apocalyptic storyline,

4) Doesn’t it make more sense for the mutants to fight to save the end of the world – from anything – instead of an obscure mutant whose back story doesn’t fit into the world they’re creating?

Xavier and Lensherr are teaming up against Armageddon, with a capital “A,” possibly referencing the actual Marvel character and not the word representing the end of the world (it is capitalized in the bible however). For those unfamiliar with the character, Armageddon (pictured below) was created by Apocalypse, arguably the most dangerous of X-Men villains. In the comics, Apocalypse used his own DNA as well as Jean Grey’s to create Armageddon in another reality. The film is seemingly deviating quite a bit from the comics and Bryan Singer stated that Jean and Cyclops are not in the film so that connection likely won’t be made.

The more interesting connection however, is that of Apocalypse, a character many diehard X-Men fans desired to be featured/introduced in X-Men 3 or X-Men 4 had it come to be. He could be used as a background villain if First Class is able to launch a franchise/trilogy of its own.

As for the other reality from the comics being used in the film, it may be a stretch but director Matthew Vaughn did hint at the possibilities of either time travel or alternate dimensions back when doing press for the Kick-Ass home video release. When discussed whether First Class is a reboot or still in continuity, he described Singer’s script as “clever” and referenced time, while comparing the film to what J.J. Abrams did with Star Trek(creating another dimension/continuity through time travel).

The other (and more likely) possibility is that Armageddon is referring to “Project Armageddon,” the Sentinel program (mutant hunting robots) supported by Sebastian Shaw’s Hellfire Club boss, Edward Buckman and hinted at in the intro to X-Men 3. Buckman, the White King of the Hellfire Club, had partnered with a man named Stephen Lang, a mutant-hating government-employed engineer who manufactured the Sentinels. Perhaps this is where actor Ray Wise’s Secretary of State character comes in?

Tying this all into the characters we know will appear in X-Men: First Class, in the comics Shaw uses Emma Frost to make Buckman kill the council and them Buckman himself so Shaw can become the leader. For years, Shaw supported the Sentinels as a way to have more power, despite being a mutant himself.

Diane Downs: Diane Downs is infamously known for shooting her three children, killing one, in order to keep her lover who didn’t want kids. Downs told police a fabricated story that a stranger had tried to carjack her, shot her in the arm and shot her three kids near Springfield, Oregon. She then drove to the McKenzie-Willamette Hospital with her children in the back.
