1. Do not have a budget

To calculate the drop of your round wedding tablecloth, subtract the table diameter from the linen diameter and then divide by two. For example, if you have a 72 inch table and a 132 inch wedding tablecloth, subtract 72 from 132 (132-72) to get 60. Then divide 60 by 2 for a full drop of 30 inch.

A square table’s measurement is taken from one side, and the drop can be calculated with a simple formula: subtract the table length from the linen length, then divide by two. For instance, if you have a 36 x 36 inch table and an 85 x 85 inch tablecloth, you subtract 85 from 36 (85-36) to get 49. Then divide 49 by 2 for a final drop of 24.5 inch. That is nearly 30 inches, so this drop could be considered a full drop as long as the table is 30 inches in height.

Figuring out the drop of a rectangular or oblong table is very easy, too. Subtract the table length from the linen length and the table width from the linen width, and then divide both differences by two. That means if you have a 4ft. (30 x 48 in.) rectangular table with a 70 x 120 inch tablecloth, start by subtracting 30 from 70 (70-30=40) and 48 from 120 (120-48=72). Then you divide 40 by 2 (40/2=20) and 72 by 2 (72/2=36) which means your tablecloth will drop 20 inches widthwise and 36 inches lengthwise. Once again, this formula assumes that your table measures 30 inches height wise.

If you are having a wedding, reception or other event you may be subject to the venue’s old folding chairs. In order to dress up the folding chairs, and make them all look uniform, many brides choose to cover folding chairs.

You are planning the wedding of your dreams. A mix between tradition and what makes you happy. But we are often asked what is the order of procession for a wedding ceremony? You probably know the bride walks down the aisle last, but everything before that can get confusing. We are here to help you with general, traditional guidelines for who walk first, who walk next, and who can walk together. Follow this tutorial for the wedding processional order and everyone will be happy.

1. Traditionally, the mother of the bride walks down the aisle first and then takes a seat in the first row. In Jewish weddings, it is customary for the mother of the bride and the father of the bride to walk the bride down the aisle together later.
2. The bride’s grandparents can also be a part of the wedding processional, and then take a seat in the first row.
3. The groom’s grandparents will typically follow the bride’s grandparents, taking a seat on the groom’s side of the wedding.
4. Bridesmaids and groomsmen can walk down separately, or you may pair them together. Often brides choose to pair up bridesmaids and groomsmen. Once down the aisle, the groomsmen will line up at the altar next to the groom, and the bridesmaids will stand next to where the bride will stand for the wedding ceremony.
5. The best man follows the bridesmaids and groomsmen and can walk down alone or with the maid of honor. He may also be the ring bearer for some weddings, and will stand next to the groom at the altar.
6. Should you choose to have the maid of honor walk down separately, they should follow the best man. They will stand next to you at the altar, and will hold your wedding bouquet.
7. The groom walks down the aisle next, and can walk down alone or escorted by his mother and father to the wedding ceremony.
8. The officiant may enter now, or they may choose their place in the ceremony based on their tradition. They may select the option of approaching the altar from the side of the room with the groom or may choose to be the first of the processional before the grandparents of the bride. You can speak with your officiant about their preferences when you meet prior to the wedding.
9. Every wedding’s much loved ring bearer and then flower girl proceeds next. The flower girl is typically the last one to walk down the aisle before the bride.
10. Finally, the bride walks down the aisle last to her wedding with her father or other escort that will give her away. The father of the bride will lift the bride’s veil and kiss her before the bride approaches the groom at the altar.

Hopefully you know not to show up wearing jeans and a tank top, but there are other things to consider when it comes to being a good wedding guest. Here is a quick etiquette cheat sheet on how to please the bride and groom, and earn a pass to future events.

1. RSVP in a timely manner, and make sure you get the count right. Do not RSVP for less, or more, wedding guests than show. Make sure you RSVP right away, or well before the deadline. And make sure you show up to the wedding as planned.
2. Arrive early. Making an entrance when the bride is about to walk down the aisle, or worse after, is not acceptable. Plan to be in your seat 30 minutes ahead of time. If there is an unforeseen issue preventing you from getting to the wedding ceremony on time like heavy traffic, late babysitter or car problems, wedding guests should never interrupt a wedding ceremony. Wait until the I do's are done and guests have left their seats to join the celebration.
3. Wait to be seated. Most ceremonies reserve the first rows of seating for the bridal party, immediate family, and grandparents. Ushers are usually in place to properly seat wedding guests.
4. If there is a photographer, you do not need to act as paparazzi in the background. Your phone can be a major distraction to you throughout the day, and even more so for a bride and groom at their wedding ceremony. The couple wants to look out and see your smiling faces, not the back of your phone or, even worse, your iPad, beaming back at them. Unless otherwise instructed, wedding guests should keep phones and all cameras out of sight until the reception.
5. I know your mom told you never to follow the crowd, but a wedding is an event that requires following along. Is everyone expected to join in on the first dance? You should dance, too. In accepting the couple’s invitation, wedding guests are implying that they will play along with whatever the wedding party throws your way. The bride has been dreaming of this day for a long time, and your happiness and accommodating attitude will help make it just as wonderful as they imagined.
6. Giving a speech is an honor. Usually the father of the bride, best man and maid of honor are expected to give a speech. If you are in one of these positions, or have been asked to give a speech or toast at the wedding be prepared. Plan ahead what you will say. Being called upon to say something witty, eloquent, touching, and profound to a room full of people can leave even the most outgoing person tongue-tied. But do not worry, the point is to say something from the heart, not entertain every single wedding guest. 
7. Keep yourself in check. Wedding guests drinking to ridiculous excess is not just unbecoming, it’s dangerous and rude. When the bride and groom provide an open bar, they are providing a courtesy, and paying a lot for it. A great way to show gratitude: Pace yourself so you can continue to toast the happy couple well through the conclusion of the wedding.
8. Wedding guests should not take anything from the venue. Even the centerpieces on the tables may be rented, always ask the bride before taking anything with you.
9. Not only should a wedding guest dress appropriately, this usually means a dress for women and slacks for men, you should never wear all white. You should probably not wear all black, unless it is a black tie affair. Even if you wear a colored belt, shoes, clutch, etc., just avoid a solid black or white dress altogether. All white is reserved for the bride, and black signifies mourning.
10. Purchase gifts from the bridal registry. Do not give what you think they will like, they have created this registry for a reason. If you do not like anything on their registry then your alternative is money.

Make sure you compliment everyone and include them all so they feel happy and welcome. This will bring everyone closer together and relieve the stress of planning.
3. Give everyone on your court a sentimental gift or party favor. Matching jewelry, t-shirts or something to decorate their bedroom are all great gifts.
4. Let them give input on their dresses. Schedule an appointment at your Quinceanera dress shop and bring your court. Take into consideration different body types and budgets. Ask your quince court for their opinion before making the final decision.
