What you need

The first requirement of using WhatsApp Web is a WhatsApp account that is active on a phone. This service is compatible with all mobile operating systems that support this messenger. Since the client is web-based, you will need to install Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari web browsers on your desktop. Just recently, it was revealed that Microsoft Edge has joined the bandwagon, but some tweaks are required for this to work. Also, ensure that both devices – phone and desktop – are connected to the internet.

Setting up WhatsApp Web on a desktop

It’s very easy to setup and start using WhatsApp Web on a PC. As long as your phone account is ready and working, all you need is to link the Web client to the phone app.

Point your web browser to the page at https://web.whatsapp.com and here you will see a QR code. After this, go back to your phone and launch WhatsApp. On the menu, select “WhatsApp Web” and from the window that opens, scan the QR code on the web page opened via the desktop browser. The same option is available under the Settings tab when using iOS devices.

Once the scanning is done, the web app will be authenticated, and you will immediately see a list of chats and contacts appear as they do on the phone app. You can now start sending and receiving WhatsApp messages from your desktop. Remember, you must keep your phone connected to the internet in order for the syncing to go on, otherwise, it will be disconnected from the main app, which means messages won’t be available on the desktop platform.

The desktop client lets users enable and disable notifications, share images, videos and emojis. But there is still no room for making WhatsApp calls via this platform.

1. How to send absolutely any file format on WhatsApp:

2) Now after locating the file, rename it as quo.apk.mp4, this will change the file format of the file

3) Goto WhatsApp –>Share –>video and select Quo.apk.mp4

4) Also don’t forget to add the recipient to rename the file to Quo.apk by deleting .mp4 from the name.

2. How to send any file of any Size on WhatsApp:

4) Now after splitting the file all you have to do this change the file format of the file by renaming as told in the above trick.

How to receive that 1.4GB file –

Now you have sent 88 files to your friend all he has to do is rename those files by removing. mp4 and keep all the files into the same folder. Now ask your friend to install “Free File Splitter “, yes the same tool that we used to split the files.Now ask him to open file splitter and select join file tab and then select destination folder and source folder and finally press the join button.

3. How to use emoji(emoticons) on your iPhone and iPad:

3) Now rename the file msgstore.db.crypt to something like backup-msgstore.db.crypt.

4) Now after renaming the file choose the file name with the date that you want t o restore..File that you may think contain the chat conversation.

5) Now rename the chosen file to msgstore.db.crypt and then one last step is to go to your phone setting>application>manage applicatin>Whatsapp, nad just click on the clear data option to remove all the data.

6) That’s it now open WhatsApp and it will ask you to restore from backup and just press restore option.

8. Viewing your friends WhatsApp conversation

You can easily hack into your friends WhatsApp conversation with this simple trick just borrow your friends phone for a minute and then transfer his database folder files into your phone.

Today I will show you how to open any blocked website without any software. You will hear about so many proxy server. But when you goes to try that proxy server you will see most of them are blocked from your school, college or workplace server. Now the question is how I access those website? Is there any other method?

No. I am not talking about any new method. I also use proxy server, but this proxy server will not be blocked by your school, college or workplace administrator. Though they know about this tricks but they do not want to block this proxy server. I am going to tell you that how to use Google as a proxy server. And I am sure any administrator do not want to block Google. Because it is the most popular search engine.

Advantage: This is the only Google proxy that will let you download files (like PDFs, .MP4 videos, etc) in addition to viewing regular web pages.

After click OK, it will show an error message that you have registered IDM using fake serial key and IDM will exit.
Now Go to START. Then go to RUN and type the following text and click enter:

For Windows 7 users, due to security reasons you will not be able to save hosts file. The trick is below:

Go to C:/ drive then go to Windows -> System32 -> Drivers -> Etc Folder.
In the Etc folder you will see the hosts file.
Now right click on hosts file and go to its properties, then go to security tab and then select your Users account.
Just below you will see an edit button (in front of change permissions), Now give the user full control and write and read rights and then click on apply and then click on OK. Now you will be able to edit the hosts file and save changes in it.

Now the file hosts open with notepad. Download the file below. Copy the text and paste it at last into hosts file as shown below:

After adding these text, save the notepad file. Again open properties of hosts file and change your Users control to 'Read & execute' and 'Read' and remove all other ticks. Now save and exit from there.

Now start your Internet download manager, and now you IDM have been converted to full version and specially when you update next time, your registration will not expire. That means it will remain full version for lifetime and you can update it without any problem. Actually the codes you are edit in hosts file that indicates you don't give permission those websites to access from your computer. You can block access unwanted website from pc using this tips.

Use IDM to download Torrent

Hello friends, today I am going to tell you a amazing tricks about to download torrent file using Internet Download Manager (IDM) which will help you to increase download speed. This tricks is very helpful for slow internet user. Please don't mean that the tricks does not needed for high speed internet user. The best things is that it save your data loss i.e. if you use Bit-torrent or utorrent your data will loss for upload. So, to download torrent file using IDM, follow the steps below.

First search the item that you want to download from torrent site and download .torrent file of your item.
Now goto zbigz.com site, click on Upload, select your .torrent file to open it. Now click on GO button.

Click on Free button.

After a while the file will be uploaded to zbigz server and you will see two Light-Blue button (one is size of the file and another is download button as .zip). Click on download as .zip button.

One time you wanted to buy a thing, and then you searched for that thing, and six months later Facebook is still reminding you that you should think about buying that thing, even if you already bought the thing. Yes, most sites do this thanks to embedded cookies, but only Facebook seamlessly posts these ads in your timeline with enough regularity that you can only assume your friend has an odd obsession with the latest Norelco razor.

It's Bad for Your Health

Facebook isn't just a harmless website dedicated to cataloging your vacations, poor wardrobe choices, and myopic thoughts on sporting events (which can both define or destroy relationships), it can actually do you harm. Studies hint that it can impact your immune system and inhibit the release of growth hormones, impair digestion and vision, limit thinking and kill creativity, and affect sleep patterns and happiness.

"Who Are These People, Anyway?"

The average adult has 338 friends on Facebook and probably doesn't know more than 10 percent of them anymore, or at all. Many of them likely have new lives, some have new last names, new passions, new facial hair, and new humans they're now responsible for keeping alive (read: babies). These are not the friends you knew, and semi-casually keeping up with them is a waste of time that could be better spent with new, real friends or on Twitter.

"But I Don't Care About Privacy"

Fair. That's your right. But the problem is that we're setting precedent for the future without yet understanding how it will affect the free and open Web, and simultaneously creating an internet that relies on you having a Facebook account to access sites that are not Facebook. As one of nearly 1.2 billion users to date, odds are decent that your account won't be hacked by someone with ill-will toward your family. That doesn't mean that permitting easy access to your information goes without consequence, both immediately and decades from now.

Nothing You Post Actually Matters

Very few people care what you're doing, whom you're with, where you're eating, or what you just bought, and the people who do were probably right next to you when you did it. We all saw that funny Ice Bucket Challenge video, and if we didn’t see it, it's fine. We're all fine. You'll sleep well without knowing which childhood toys you owned are now worth a fortune, and you will absolutely "believe what happened next" on Unworthy, because someone took time to write about it. These articles only exist because you share them on Facebook, and you only share them because they exist. So, instead, just invite a friend over to talk about how much you both loved Save by the Bell. The internet can only take so much nostalgia.

Internet.Org Service is available for all GSM (Postpaid/Prepaid) and CDMA (Prepaid) Mobile Customers in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and Kerala regions. Steps for first time Users:

Go to www.internet.org using mobile web browser.
Customer will be presented with the language selection page where choice of language can be selected. By default, the regional language will be selected. Customer can opt for other languages by clicking '+' button on the page.
Click "Continue" to get to the main page of Internet.org, with "Free Services" and "Reliance" sections displayed in the choice of language.

Terms and Conditions:

Customer can also download the Internet.org app. (only available on android currently), from the Google Play store. However the one time data downloading charges of the internet.org android app is NOT free. Customer will be charged as per his data tariff. Alternately, customer can go to www.internet.org to access the site to avoid the one-time app download charge.
Minimum balance of 20 paise is required in case of Prepaid Customers. Customer can be charged if his Smartphone has some applications running in the background, utilizing data.
Customer will get free Service for, without subscribing to any data pack/plan:
1.   2. Clicks on a link that directs to a different website, outside of www.internet.org hosted sites, then he will get a prompt with the message informing him that he is stepping out of the Free website.

  4. Smartphone has some applications running in the background, utilizing data.
  5. Surfs Facebook or any other free sites directly instead of going through internet.org.

  1. If accessed from other than Mobile, then user may get error as "This App is incompatible with your device".
  2. Currently iOS and Windows mobile app are not available. User may access the service through browser only.

Convert videos with VLC media player

Open VLC media player. Press shortcut key Ctrl + R or go to Media and click on Convert/Save.
A window will pop up. Now click on Add and choose the video that you want to convert. Click on Convert/Save button.
Now Browse the destination folder where you want to save the video. Give a File name with proper extension (*.avi, *.flv, *.mp4 etc. where * is file name e.g. Godzilla.avi, Mission-Impossible.mp4 etc.). Change profile settings to AVI, MP4, FLV etc and click Start button.

That’s it. Thus you can convert any video by VLC media player.

Record your Desktop

Open VLC media player. Go to Media and click on Open Capture Device or press shortcut key Ctrl + C. From Capture Mode option select Desktop.
Now set desired frame rate for the capture 25.00 to 30.00 f/s (i.e. 30 frames per second. If number of frames per second is higher then video quality will be better). Click on Convert/Save button from dropdown menu.
Click on Browser to choose the destination folder. Give a preferable name with proper extension. For example video-name.mp4. Now click on Start button.

Recover pen drive memory space

Have your pen drive memory space been lost? Don't worry. You could recover pen drive memory space easily. Most of the time it happens when you are going to make a bootable pen drive or doing other things. Many people comments us that after making a bootable pen drive they lost their pen drive memory space (from 8GB to 2GB). Please don't take it as a serious issue. It does not hamper your pen drive memory. Actually your USB flash drive (pen drive) memory space divided into two parts, one is allocated memory space and another is unallocated memory space. If you are using Windows operating system then "Disk Management" application will help you to add this unallocated memory space with allocated memory. "How do I recover this unallocated memory space?" Well, you can follow the steps given below.

Insert your pen drive to PC.
Type "Disk Management" in windows "Search programs and files" from Start menu.
In searched programs you could see "Create and format hard disk partitions". Open it.
You could see your computer as well as pen drive memory space partition.
To combine Primary Partition with Unallocated space, first select Primary Partition. Now click on cross (Delete) button on the above toolbar.
Now you can see you pen drive has one partition i.e. unallocated space and memory space is your original pen drive memory size. Let’s make this unallocated space to usable memory (Primary Partition).
Select the unallocated space, right click on it and click on New Simple Volume. (Or you may go to Action -> All Tasks -> New Simple Volume).
New Simple Volume Wizard will pop up. Click Next. Check Maximum disk space in MB is same as Simple volume size in MB. Click Next. Assign the following drive letter anyone from dropdown list and click next.
Format this volume with following settings where File system: FAT32 Allocation unit size: Default and Volume label: anything (it is your pen drive name). Perform a quick format click next then Finish.

That’s all. Your pen drive’s unused memory space recovered.

Some other tips on pen drive.
Sometimes you could see that if a single file (like video, image file .iso, zip, rar etc. file) size more than 4GB then you could not copy these file into your pen drive from PC. It happens when your pen drive file system is FAT or FAT32. So to copy those large file into your pen drive you first format your pen drive as file system : NTFS (if your USB pen drive support). It also increases your pen drive performance.

You want to say that I can talk to my friend from mobile phone or land phone with free of cost? Are you crazy? Are you not joking with me? These questions are revolving in your mind.

Yes, you can make free Local and STD call in each country. I am not joking. Before I writing this post I test this tricks and make free Local and STD call to my friends. So it is not a joke. Actually I found a website from where you can make free call. The website is https://www.dingaling.ca . You can make ISD call between Canada and US only and make Local and STD call to all other country listed in their drop down menu.

At first you have to install an application to your smartphone. If you have not a smartphone then no problem you can use their web browser calling. To make web browser call you need not required contact list, headset or software, just open their website from your computer.
For first time you have to register a new account to login or you can use your facebook account to login.
After login you will see two columns From and To. Select you and your friend’s location (Country). To make free call Country should be same except calling between Canada and US.
Enter you and your friend’s mobile phone or land phone number in From and To column respectively.
After typing phone number if the Free Call button will green then click on the button. Both you and your friend’s number will ring and the call will be connected for free.

Each time you can talk ~~10 minutes~~ 5 minutes after that you can redial and talk again ~~10 minutes~~ 5 minutes and so no. So enjoy free calling.

Update: Dingaling change the each call duration limit from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.

Note: Make sure you are not disconnected you internet connection when you are calling. Today one of my friend login his account from mobile phone browser and he trying to call someone typing his same mobile phone number and when he receive the call his internet connection has gone. As a result he could not make free call. But when he login from his computer and dial for free call then he gets success.

Typing, Browsing and File Management tricks

Typing Tricks

Delete an entire word: Press CTRL + Backspace to delete an entire word instead of deleting a single character one by one. if you want to remove a whole word then this will delete the entire word behind the cursor.

Move Cursor to beginning of the next or previous word: Use shortcut key to move Cursor to beginning of the next or previous word instead of moving cursor one-by-one character space. To move Cursor to the beginning of the previous word, use CTRL + Left Arrow. And to move it to the beginning of the next word, use CTRL + Right Arrow. This will reduce your typing time.

Paste plain text of what was copied: Any formatting text converts and paste as plain text. When we copy text from any source, programs will usually copy any formatting that comes with it. So when we use CTRL + V, it actually paste that formatting text. To paste this as plain text (unformatted text), press CTRL + Shift + V.
Note that many programs like Chrome, Firefox etc. follow this parameter. but not all, particularly Microsoft programs like Word or Outlook does not follow this parameter. For those there's a few alternatives.

Paste any copied formatting text into Notepad. And you will see it converted into plain text. Copy this plain text from Notepad.

Press ALT + CTRL + V to Paste any copied formatting text into Microsoft office Word. A "Paste Special" pop up window will open. Select Paste As : Unformatted Text.

Browsing Tricks

Automatically add .com and www. or .net and save a couple of seconds typing in a URL. If the sites in .com domain then press CTRL + Enter after you type the name of the site. For .net domain press CTRL + Shift + Enter.

Jump to address bar: Press F6 or CTRL + L or ALT + D to jump right to the address bar from anywhere in browser.

Bring back a closed tab: Press CTRL + Shift + T to reopen the most recently closed tab and get back to what you were doing.

File Management Tricks

Rename a file quickly: Most of us press Right-clicking and select rename to change a file name. Instead of this simply press F2 while a file is selected. To alter the name of another file, type TAB without deselecting the current file.

Rename files sequentially in Windows: You actually don’t need to download any programs to perform a batch file rename in Windows. Instead, you can select all the files you want to change, right-click the first one in the list, select rename (or use F2), and type in the name. This will automatically change all the other files with the same root name with a suffix: (1), (2), and so on.

Select multiple files using the keyboard: To select a bunch of files using your keyboard, you can press Shift + down arrow to select a single file or Shift + Page Down to select a large group of files at one time.

After GATE what?

Subsequent to the GATE exam, even before the result is declared, the student faces another difficulty regarding the admission process of various colleges.

Different department of a college has different selection procedure which often creates confusion and indecisiveness in the minds of the aspirant. For example, the ME program at the IISc has direct admission whereas the M.Tech. Program has a written test followed by an interview and the MS program has only an interview.

One has to apply separately to each department since there is no common counselling procedure. Hence each candidate has to judiciously select departments where he/she has the best chances of getting admission, given his GATE rank.

Centralized counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./ M.Plan. (CCMT) provided a system wherein the students can fill one online application from their homes and apply to all the programmes of all participating institutions(in various NITs across the country and some Centrally Funded Technical Institutions) to which they were eligible.

The admission procedure to consider the students for the various programmes is as follows:
Admission Procedure: - The institute has two modes for admission.

Test/interview: - Candidates must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.75 on a 10-point scale or equivalent 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years / semesters of the qualifying examination) wherever marks are awarded and who have qualified GATE (for full time) with a valid score in the case of M.Tech. and M.S. (Research) Programs and CEED with a valid score in the case of M.Des. in Industrial Design Programme.
Direct Admission (Without Test/Interview): - Candidates seeking direct admission should have minimum 75 % marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) (or 8.5 CGPA).

Submission of online application commences after GATE result.

However, such candidate will have option for not to accept the direct admission offer in given specializations but to appear for written test/interview in discipline of one's higher choice(s). Seats remaining vacant after Direct Admission (can be in small like direct admission); will be filled up through written test/interview. Each candidate can submit only One Application Form.
