Not exactly sure what to write, as I find the whole look really comical with that pornstache. What do you think?

Miguel in Saint Laurent - 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Miguel and his girlfriend Nazanin Mandi attended the 2013 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena yesterday in Las Vegas. Miguel wore a beautiful tuxedo jacket with contrasting silk/satin lapels from Saint Laurent, over a leopard print shirt also by the same label. He also wore slim fitted Levi's jeans and glitter boots from Saint Laurent. Very cool shades and a customised Sacred Heart necklace completed his look. Nazanin Mandi wore a Saint Laurent leather skirt and silver heels from the same label, with a custom top.

I think it's safe to say the couple loves Saint Laurent, but they are not the only ones. They joined a recent wave of celebrities who love the debut collection from Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent. When the Spring Summer 2013 collection first showed, the reaction were pretty mixed. I guess the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The representation on the red carpets and increase in sales figures (up 19% in revenue as compared to last year) say it all.

Miguel ditched the (almost) all black outfit on the red carpet, for an (almost) all white outfit for his performance at the awards ceremony. Miguel wore a very sleek cream/white Saint Laurent jacket with contrasting black leather lapels, over a white shirt from Mugler. Matching white Levi's jeans completed the look. Which look do you prefer: the red carpet or the performance? I prefer the latter.

G-Dragon in Saint Laurent - Hong Kong Press Conference

South Korean artiste G-Dragon held a press conference in Hong Kong last Friday to promote his concert. The performer from South Korea's super group "Big Bang" wore an embroidered jacket from the Hedi Slimane designed Saint Laurent womenswear Spring Summer 2013 collection. The black trim around the jacket is made from little paillettes sewn together. He paired it with leather trousers and glittery Cuban heels also from the same label. Saint Laurent seemed to be his go to label these days, he wore pieces from the upcoming Fall Winter 2013 menswear collection for his press conferences in China and Taiwan recently.

Do we like this look on G-Dragon? I'm a little on the fence about it. I've been staring at the pic for a few minutes but can't really form a decisive yes/no opinion.

Actress Berenice Bejo and husband/director Michel Hazanavicius attended the premiere of 'Le Passe' at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals over the weekend. The French film director, producer and screenwriter is perhaps best known for his 2011 film, "The Artist", which won the Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Director at last year's Oscars. For the red carpet event, Michel wore a gorgeous blue tuxedo with contrasting lapels and matching bow tie. The director accessorised his look with an equally beautiful Montblanc "TimeWalker Northern Hemisphere" timepiece. The timepiece featured an embossed black calfskin leather strap with blue stitching, which cleverly matched their outfits.

Earlier in the day, Michel Hazanavicius was pictured at the Stars Lounge, and it gave us an opportunity to have a closer look at his timepiece. The silver coloured dial of the "Northern Hemisphere" watch featured the map of our planet as seen from the North pole, The local time in the zone where the wearer is currently sojourning is shown by the central hands, while the flange around the dial bears the names of 24 cities, each of that represents one of the 24 time zones into which our planet is divided. Hence in one view, one can see the local time and the time in all 24 time zones around the world.

Love the timepiece with such a cool story behind it. And I feel it is versatile enough for both dressy and casual occasions. Very impressed with his choice of sunglasses. Orange frames are not something that is easy to wear, but he pulled off the look so nicely. Very good accessories choices.

Promotional appearances in the far east seemed a lot more fun. Taiwanese artistes Ethan Ruan [阮經天] and 小S were pictured in Taipei recently to promote the latest smart phone from Samsung Galaxy. Ethan looked effortlessly stylish in a black blazer and white trousers combo with a Raf Simons t-shirt underneath. The event was cleverly styled, with the blue on Ethan's shirt, matching 小S's micro mini, and of course Samsung's colour of choice. They looked like they had so much fun, love it.

I couldn't find an exact match, but the details around the snap buttons, collars and pockets appeared to be a cross between the Belstaff "Redborne" and "Seven" jackets. Maybe a jacket from the upcoming collection? I'm pretty sure it is Belstaff, if it isn't, it is too close for comfort. Love the very dapper look on Justin. Do you like Justin's style at Cannes?

Love Tobey Maguire, there's something about him I really love. Really can't wait to watch The Great Gatsby.

Jimmy Choo recently opened their new menswear store at No.35a Dover Street in London. We headed to their swanky shop yesterday evening for a few drinks, and checked out what's in store. UK based artist Richie Culver was also in attendance, dressed stylishly in a light brown mac for the London showers. Love his round bowler hat and those gorgeous brown suede Jimmy Choo "Byron" monkstrap shoes. (I wore a grey mac with brown suede shoes too, great minds?)

The new Jimmy Choo men's flagship store located at No.35a Dover Street is set in a historic Georgian building. The 1,200 square foot store spreads across two floors housing a complete assortment of Jimmy Choo men's accessories. Slick finishes of black marble and leather are complemented with textures of felt, velvet and tweed. Vintage furnishings provide a 1960s retro edge to the modern interior.

Wandering around the store, I picked out two of my favourite shoes:

Yes there's a shoe on my scorpion, but isn't that gorgeous? These "Sloane" red felt slippers with gold embroidered scorpions were made exclusively for their new store at Dover Street. Oh I like very much.

#WishlistWednesday: Eddie Redmayne's vintage Globe-Trotter and Rimowa luggages

Eddie Redmayne was pictured at Los Angeles airport a while ago, arriving for the Academy Awards 2013. I love looking at people's luggage, part voyeuristic, part obsessed with the notion of voyages and modern day aviation travel. Eddie opted for something old and something new, mixing a gorgeous vintage hand held Globe-Trotter case, with a modern and sturdy Rimowa black hard case check in luggage. I am quite honestly, obsessed with Globe-Trotter luggages. It has that gorgeous old school look, but now tweaked slightly (with handles and wheels) for modern day travel. I even wished my hard case luggage would wear out sooner so I can justify an investment in a large check-in sized Globe-Trotter.

Rimowa luggages have long been renowned for their sturdiness. I believed Eddie chose the classic black 78cm "Topas Multiwheel". My personal favourite would be the one in silver though, that seemed to have a lot more oomph to it.

New this week at Mr Porter are these gorgeous Rimowa luggages, and exclusive Globe-Trotter hand held cases made for the online retailer. No reason not to travel in style and practicality anymore. Navy is a good colour for Bradley as it really brings out the colours in his eyes. However something doesn't feel right and I can't really pinpoint what it was. Wretch 32 in DRKSHDW Rick Owens - "Blackout" ft Shakka

While going through my Instagram feed yesterday, I noticed Tinie Tempah posted a picture of Wretch 32's new single "Blackout" featuring Skakka, in support of the singer. Call it occupational hazard, I thought "hey I know this jacket". Wretch 32 wore a geometric (or as Rick Owens listed, "camouflage") print bomber jacket from DRKSHDW Rick Owens. The cotton blend jacket from the lower priced line featured all the same details as his mainline leather jackets. If I can be honest: love the jacket, not so much the pairing of the rollneck and his R Kelly "I believe I can fly" post. I would have done it differently but hey, who am I to say?

The geometric / camouflage print featured extensively on DRKSHDW Rick Owens Spring Summer 2013 collection. Besides the bomber jacket, I also love the shorts and the oversized canvas bag. The Givenchy "Spitfire" print proved so popular, that DJ Afrojack also arrived at the same event with the t-shirt version. What do you do in such occasions? Politely smile or cat fights all round? I once wore a Balenciaga peacoat to their shop in New York, and someone had the same idea too. I tried to be civil and gave an acknowledging smile, but the other gave me such evil looks that I was ready to fight it out. So call me silly, but I usually wear my stuff one season after. It kind of make sense climate wise, and I have this "it's new I can't bear to wear it" thing going with me.

The sweatshirt featured 2 side zips and a series of metal and rhinestones embellishments around the neckline. It's the mysterious resurgence of the Givenchy sweatshirt. Presented in January 2012 in Paris, Kanye West was the first artiste to publicly wear it in March 2012. Ciara was pictured in the same sweatshirt two weeks ago too. And now Hsiao in Taiwan. Are they reissuing it? If so, I am so getting in line.

Nothing wrong with wearing something from season's past. I wore my Givenchy sweatshirt today in London too (black with red stars).

This is my third consecutive post on Saint Laurent. I promise I am not force fed any information, but the far east movement is churning out pretty boys in Saint Laurent faster than I can type. Now is that a boy or a girl or a girl or a boy? I can see that G-Dragon totally fits in with the androgynous feel that Hedi Slimane is going for at the house of Saint Laurent. Female model Saskia De Brauw fronts their SS2013 menswear campaign, remember? (Scroll down and you will see shots on the right hand panel).

Last week we featured G-Dragon in Beijing promoting his concert, in what I believed to be the first artiste to publicly wear Saint Laurent menswear Fall Winter 2013. The showman, from South Korea's super group "Big Bang", arrived in the capital of Taiwan to promote his world tour. He wore a blazer with contrasting silk/satin lapels, which I believed to be from the upcoming Fall Winter 2013 collection. He also wore the same distressed chained denims which he wore in Beijing, but this time in blue.

The wide brimmed fedora / hat should be instantly recognisable. That piece nearly accompanied every look from Hedi Slimane's debut womenswear collection. Black leather Cuban heels gave him that extra height. I questioned the rather showy walking stick, but was told he injured himself rehearsing for the concert. Have you seen Gaga in that wheelchair? This is tame in comparison then.

Song Joong-Ki attended the 49th Paeksang Arts Awards in Seoul yesterday. The South Korean artiste wore a shawl collar jacket from Saint Laurent Spring Summer 2013. The fabric appeared to be shinier which I think could be due to the studio lights. Saint Laurent is proving to be really popular around the Asia Pacific region, having featured quite a few artistes from around the region on the blog. And it is really refreshing to see that the pieces could be styled in a clean cut way, different to how Hedi Slimane presented them on the runway.
