We all know how useful is internet download manager for downloading web files.. However all the files on torrents are not able to download using idm. So there is a way to download those files using idm. With this you can easily be able to download any torrent without using any torrent client like uTorrent, Bittorrent.Using seedr,cc you can download any torrent links to cloud storage of seedr.cc and download the generated link using idm directly to your computer without using any clients.
Follow the steps:
Go to any torrent search engine and search the file and copy torrent magnet link to download it.
Now go to the site seedr.cc https://www.seedr.cc/
Now from the site where you have downloaded the torrent magnet link
Paste the link of the torrent in the box provided in the site
It will download the file to cloud and give you the direct link.

College Of Engineering & Ceramic Technology - 6 Marc
Paper Type : Whole Testpaper

Test Date : 6 March 2008

Test Location : Govt. College Of Engineering & Ceramic Technology

Hi Friends, I am Shubhadip Datta from Govt. College Of Engineering & Ceramic Technology, Kolkata. There was a poll campus interview of Infosys in our college campus on 6th March,2008. Almost 375 students from 5 different colleges were attain this campus interview. And friends good news that I am the one of lucky one to get chance to take training from Mysore .
Statistic:
No of College=5
Total Students=375
Students who cleared Aptitude Test=25 (Be careful huge reduction in this section)
Students Select in interview=14 (I am one of them)
Selection Procedure:
Infosys is such a company where there is no barrier in stream. That means students from any stream can sit in Infosys. There are no direct Technical round in Infosys.
The whole Selection Process contains two section Aptitude test.
>Analytical & Logical reasoning:(30 question : 40 minutes)
>English section: (40 question : 35 minutes)
Friends they will not tell about any sectional cut off be careful about section cutoff. I heard that there is 60% cutoff in first Section, & 50% from second section.
After Aptitude test HR interview.
Study Materials:
>Verbal & Non verbal-R.S . Agarwal.
>Some Time’s CAT study materials.
>And of course last but not least Freshers World (Be Regular & update with this site, You will get really very help)
Analytical & Logical reasoning
Friends I have not remembered the order of questions but I am telling the questions in such a order that I follow and I am sure that you also get advantage if you solve question in such order.
>Syllogism: (5 question) – Friends not only in Infosys but also in others first attempt this question. It is very easy to solve.
Question Pattern: Statement: All A is B. Some B is C.
Conclusion: I,II
You have no need to memories all the rule of R.S. Agrawal and even you have no need to draw vein Diagram to solve it, If you follow Time’s CAT materials. There is very simple rule in Time’s materials by which you can solve a syllogism with in 15 sec.
>Figure Series: (5 questions)- This is really very simple. For practice see Agrawal. But don’t waste too much time for it.
>Dice & Cube Problem:(5 questions)- In my apti the prob was like below:
A cube is given and is painted six side with six diff colors.
Red is adjacent of yellow and green.
Pink is opposite of yellow.
Brown is in the bottom face
Now Q:1)Which color is in the top face?
Q:2) Which color in the opposite face of Red?
But there may also come others pattern:
There is a cube and it is cut in 27/64/125 equals pieces of cube. Now two face is colored with black, two green, two red.
Q: No of cube which is painted three faces…No of Uncolored cube…..
Just see 3-5 Example from Agrwal It will come in ur hand.
>Puzzel: (5 questions) – Keep ur head cool for these question. I know puzzle makes everyone puzzeled. Read the question carefully draw the diagram, matrix and put the data one by one according to given information. I am sure that every one can solve it.
>Data Interpretation: (5 question) – A chart, graph, table will be given….and you have to solve some problem on statistics. It will too much time conserving section so do it at last…..and also follow the Option elimination process.
English Section:
Friends I am really very week in this section. But as I have cleared so you can clear it easily.
>Two passages and 5 question from each passages: Do it at the last. And before reading the passage see the question one time.
>Sentence Correction: Be care about tense mistake, spelling mistake, using of pronoun…..
>Fill in the Blanks: Gain a details idea on preposition, phrase, idioms.
>Theme Detection.
HR Interview
If you are a brilliant student wishing to pursue higher studies but do not have enough resources? Well, there is nothing to worry. A good number of nationalized and other banks in India have come up with diverse schemes for providing financial assistance to young scholars, to enable them to fulfill their dreams. According to the RBI guidelines, for studies within the country the ceiling of the loans provided is approximately Rs. 7.5 lakhs, while it is Rs. 15 lakhs for higher studies abroad.
Loans The majority of educational loan programs break down into two categories: student loans and parent loans.
Students are free to approach any bank in their locality to avail the loan facilities. However, it is advisable to approach your / your family’s existing bankers, in case you already have a bank account as this will help you in establishing your credentials. Banks has been directed by the RBI to lower Interest rates for educational loans as per these guidelines.

Most of the banks have formulated their own Educational Loans schemes under various names. The schemes may slightly differ from bank to bank. In most of the case Indian domicile is a prime requirement besides the educational criteria. Most of the banks offer loans up to Rs.4lacs without any margin and the rate of interest is also lowest up to this slab. Beyond this – the banks may charge slightly higher rates and also insist for some margin money. The repayment period normally starts after Course period + 1 year or 6 months after getting a job, whichever is earlier but this may again differ from bank to bank.

GD Do's
• Do's
1. Be as natural as possible. Do not try and be someone you are not. Be yourself.
2. A group discussion is your chance to be more vocal. The evaluator wants to hear you speak.
3. Take time to organize your thoughts. Think of what you are going to say.
4. Seek clarification if you have any doubts regarding the subject.
5. Don't start speaking until you have clearly understood and analyzed the subject.
6. Work out various strategies to help you make an entry: initiate the discussion or agree with someone else's point and then move onto express your views.
7. Opening the discussion is not the only way of gaining attention and recognition. If you do not give valuable insights during the discussion, all your efforts of initiating the discussion will be in vain.
8. Your body language says a lot about you - your gestures and mannerisms are more likely to reflect your attitude than what you say.
9. Language skills are important only to the effect as to how you get your points across clearly and fluently.
10. Be assertive not dominating; try to maintain a balanced tone in your discussion and analysis.
11. Don't lose your cool if anyone says anything you object to. The key is to stay objective: Don't take the discussion personally.
12. Always be polite: Try to avoid using extreme phrases like: `I strongly object' or `I disagree'. Instead try phrases like: `I would like to share my views on…' or `One difference between your point and mine…' or "I beg to differ with you"
13. Brush up on your leadership skills; motivate the other members of the team to speak (this surely does not mean that the only thing that you do in the GD is to say "let us hear what the young lady with the blue scarf has to say," or "Raghu, let us hear your views" - Essentially be subtle), and listen to their views. Be receptive to others' opinions and do not be abrasive or aggressive.
14. If you have a group of like-minded friends, you can have a mock group discussion where you can learn from each other through giving and receiving feedback.
15. Apart from the above points, the panel will also judge team members for their alertness and presence of mind, problem-solving abilities, ability to work as a team without alienating certain members, and creativity.

EXAMINATION TIPS

EXAMINATION TIPS

1. Get a normal night’s sleep before the examination date
2. Reach exam centre early and relax or discuss with close friends
3. Read the question paper and the instructions thoroughly. Mark the questions which you find you can answer.
4. Ask the invigilator for clarifications, if any.
5. Make a rough time scheme and decide how much time you should allot to each question.
6. Leave 15 minutes at the end to review the answers and make corrections, as needed.
7. Before you start on any particular question, make sure you understand it/interpret it correctly.
8. Answer the easiest and shortest question first.
11. If you get stuck up , proceed to the next question and come back at the end if there is time.
12. Leave a margin of 3 cm at the left side of the answer sheet, if there is no printed margin.
13. Mark the question numbers clearly in the left margin.
14. ORGANISE YOUR ANSWER SHEET: write legibly; use reasonably large size letters; don’t cram; space the lines reasonably apart; use a lined sheet below the answer sheet to ensure steady writing; use pen or dot pen with reasonably thick writing point; use blue black ink; do not use washable ink; use pencil and instruments for drawing figures, tables etc.
15. Indicate your numerical answers clearly and with proper units
Eg. Maximum stress = 23000 kN/mm2 …. Ans
…………Samuel Johnson
Your brain never loses anything. Once it is put in your memory, it remains there for the rest of your life. What we call “forgetting” is either the inability to recall stored information or the failure to store information.
Memory techniques:
ORGANISE IT
1. Learn from the general to the specific.
Scan through the whole book and get an idea of the course content. Then start learning chapter by chapter or section by section.
1. Make it meaningful.
How much this mechanics course relates to your goal of becoming a mechanical engineer?
When the information helps you to get something you want, it is easier to remember that.
2. Create associations
Think of something related to the topic and create associations with it. This helps the memory process.
USE YOUR BODY
3. Learn it once, actively.
Involve your body the first time you learn something. Sit up, sit on the edge of your chair or walk while studying. Some believe that the brain works better in a standing position.
4. Relax
When we are relaxed ,we absorb new information quicker and recall it with greater accuracy.
5. Create pictures
Use diagrams and cartoons to connect facts and illustrate relationships.
6. Recite and repeat
When you recite something aloud, you anchor the information by hearing and by seeing. The combined result is synergetic. When you repeat something, you create a trail through the pathways of your brain, making the information easier to find
7. Write it down.
Writing a note to yourself helps you to remember an idea, even if you never look at the note again.
USE YOUR BRAIN
8. Reduce interference
Don’t sit near a TV or a refrigerator while studying. These may distract you.
9. Escape the short term memory gap.
A short review within minutes or hours of a study session can move material from the short term memory to the long term memory.
10. Distribute learning
Marathon study sessions are not very effective. You can get far more done in three one hour
sessions than in one three hour session. Change subject of study after one hour to a new subject.
11. Beware of attitudes
People who believe that math is difficult will have difficulty in remembering maths. We remember what we find interesting.
12. Use daylight for study
Study the most difficult subjects during day hours. The early morning hours can be more productive for most people.
13. Overlearn
Learn more than what is needed. Do the assigned problems and then do more problems.
14. Choose what not to store in memory
Decide what is essential to remember from a reading assignment or lecture .
Extract the core concepts. Then apply the memory techniques to those concepts .
15. Combine memory techniques
Choose two or three techniques to use on a particular assignment. Experiment for yourself with these techniques.
RECALL IT
16. Remember something else
When you are stuck up and can’t remember something you know you know, remember something else that is related to it. If you can’t remember your aunt’s name, then try to remember your great aunt’s name.

18. Notice when you do remember
Some people are best at remembering information they have read. Others remember best what they have seen, heard or done. Notice your style and follow it.

19. Use it before you lose it
To remember something, access it a lot. Read it, write it, speak it, listen to it, apply it.
20. And remember you never forget
Develop a strong belief that you will never forget it. Keep saying “my memory serves me well” . Or even “I never forget.”

MBA IN USA

https://docs.google.com/document/edit?id=1rBWlZzcbPrC6iDPQlY139yk0N-BPbOcWv0lVNOTr988&hl=en&authkey=CKqi7Y4I

HRInterviewQuestions

get the questions right here

The following are some of the most difficult questions you will face in the course of your job interviews. Some questions may seem rather simple on the surface--such as "Tell me about yourself"--but these questions can have a variety of answers. The more open-ended the question, the wider the variation in the answers. Once you have become practiced in your interviewing skills, you will find that you can use almost any question as a launching pad for a particular topic or compelling story.

1. Tell me about yourself.
My background to date has been centered around preparing myself to become the very best _____ I can become. Let me tell you specifically how I've prepared myself . . .

2. Why should I hire you?
Because I sincerely believe that I'm the best person for the job. I realize that there are many other college students who have the ability to do this job. I also have that ability. But I also bring an additional quality that makes me the very best person for the job--my attitude for excellence. Not just giving lip service to excellence, but putting every part of myself into achieving it. In _____ and _____ I have consistently reached for becoming the very best I can become by doing the following . . .

3. What is your long-range objective? Where do you want to be 10 or 15 years from now?
Although it's certainly difficult to predict things far into the future, I know what direction I want to develop toward. Within five years, I would like to become the very best _____ your company has. In fact, my personal career mission statement is to become a world-class _____ in the _____ industry. I will work toward becoming the expert that others rely upon. And in doing so, I feel I will be fully prepared to take on any greater responsibilities that might be presented in the long term.

4. How has your education prepared you for your career?
As you will note on my résumé, I've taken not only the required core classes in the _____ field, I've also gone above and beyond. I've taken every class the college has to offer in the field and also completed an independent study project specifically in this area. But it's not just taking the classes to gain academic knowledge--I've taken each class, both inside and outside of my major, with this profession in mind. So when we're studying _____ in _____, I've viewed it from the perspective of _____. In addition, I've always tried to keep a practical view of how the information would apply to my job. Not just theory, but how it would actually apply. My capstone course project in my final semester involved developing a real-world model of _____, which is very similar to what might be used within your company. Let me tell you more about it . . .

5. Are you a team player?
Very much so. In fact, I've had opportunities in both athletics and academics to develop my skills as a team player. I was involved in _____ at the intramural level, including leading my team in assists during the past year--I always try to help others achieve their best. In academics, I've worked on several team projects, serving as both a member and team leader. I've seen the value of working together as a team to achieve a greater goal than any one of us could have achieved individually. As an example . . .

6. Have you ever had a conflict with a boss or professor? How was it resolved?
Yes, I have had conflicts in the past. Never major ones, but certainly there have been situations where there was a disagreement that needed to be resolved. I've found that when conflict occurs, it's because of a failure to see both sides of the situation. Therefore, I ask the other person to give me their perspective and at the same time ask that they allow me to fully explain my perspective. At that point, I would work with the person to find out if a compromise could be reached. If not, I would submit to their decision because they are my superior. In the end, you have to be willing to submit yourself to the directives of your superior, whether you're in full agreement or not. An example of this was when . . .

7. What is your greatest weakness?
I would say my greatest weakness has been my lack of proper planning in the past. I would overcommit myself with too many variant tasks, then not be able to fully accomplish each as I would like. However, since I've come to recognize that weakness, I've taken steps to correct it. For example, I now carry a planning calendar in my pocket so that I can plan all of my appointments and "to do" items. Here, let me show you how I have this week planned out . . .

8. If I were to ask your professors to describe you, what would they say?
I believe they would say I'm a very energetic person, that I put my mind to the task at hand and see to it that it's accomplished. They would say that if they ever had something that needed to be done, I was the person who they could always depend on to see that it was accomplished. They would say that I always took a keen interest in the subjects I was studying and always sought ways to apply the knowledge in real world settings. Am I just guessing that they would say these things? No, in fact, I'm quite certain they would say those things because I have with me several letters of recommendation from my professors and those are their very words. Let me show you . . .

9. What qualities do you feel a successful manager should have?
The key quality should be leadership--the ability to be the visionary for the people who are working under them. The person who can set the course and direction for subordinates. A manager should also be a positive role model for others to follow. The highest calling of a true leader is inspiring others to reach the highest of their abilities. I'd like to tell you about a person who I consider to be a true leader . . .

10. If you had to live your life over again, what would you change?
That's a good question. I realize that it can be very easy to continually look back and wish that things had been different in the past. But I also realize that things in the past cannot be changed, that only things in the future can be changed. That's why I continually strive to improve myself each and every day and that's why I'm working hard to continually increase my knowledge in the _____ field. That's also the reason why I want to become the very best _____ your company has ever had. To make positive change. And all of that is still in the future. So in answer to your question, there isn't anything in my past that I would change. I look only to the future to make changes in my life.

Important:

• Do not reproduce the answers verbatim.
• Do not repeat the same answer in each and every company, as this might put you in a tight situation. Research the company well before attending the interview.
• If possible, try to know the area in which you are expected to work and model your answers accordingly.
• Give a small pause before you start answering a question and also in between your answers. This conveys a fact to the interviewers that you are thinking before answering, and not just blurting out the mugged up answers.

If this work of mine has really helped you in any way or if you think this is a very useful reference tool, please send me an e-mail. I will be looking forward for all those gratitude mails. BYE.
b) The principal compressive stress in concrete should not exceed
one-third of the specified works cube strength.
c) The average shear stress on the gross cross-section of the concrete
should not exceed 1/50 of the specified works cube strength.
d) When the tank is full, there should be a compression in the
concrete at all points of at least 7 kg/cm2.
e) When the tank is empty, there should at no point be a tensile
stress greater than 10 kg/cm2. Where the tank is to be emptied
and filled at frequent intervals, or may be left empty for a
prolonged period, it is desirable to design the tank so that there is
a residual compression when the tank is empty as well as when
full.
7.2 The base of the wall may be designed either fixed with the floor or
as sliding or hinged at the junction with the floor.

3. DESIGN
3.1 General — Provisions shall be made for all conditions of stresses
that may occur in accordance with the principles of mechanics;
recognised methods of design and sound engineering practice. In
particular, adequate consideration shall be given to the effects of
monolithic construction in the assessment of bending moments and
shear.
3.1.1 Before taking up the detailed design the designer should satisfy
himself on the correct estimation of loads and on the adequate statical
equilibrium of the structure, particularly in regard to safety against
overturning of overhanging members; in the latter case the general
arrangement should be such that statical equilibrium should be
satisfied even when the overturning moment is doubled.
3.2 Basis of Design
3.2.1 General basis of design shall be in line with the
recommendations of IS : 1343-1960† except where otherwise specified
in this code. The members other than those specified in 3.2.2 shall be
designed in accordance with the requirements of IS : 1343-1960†.
3.2.2 The design of members in contact with the liquid on any face or
enclosing the space above the liquid shall be based on consideration of
adequate resistance to cracking as well as adequate strength, and the
following basic requirements should also be satisfied:
a) The computed stresses in the concrete and in the steel shall not
exceed the permissible stresses given in 3.3 and 3.4, during
transfer, handling and construction, and under working loads.
<link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://07max.blogspot.com/feeds/4156843197477559387/comments/default'
