			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Oh goodness! I barely squeaked by with a .2 lb. loss.  I am so happy to see a loss, but a bit disappointed it is not bigger. I have worked so hard this week! Since last Fridays weigh in I have done 3 hours &amp; 45 minutes of Book Camp classes, 1 hour of Zumba and 2 hours of cardio&#8230; plus eaten very healthy. My body is just not releasing the weight and it is frustrating.  But hey, 7 lbs in 7 weeks is nothing to whine about!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yah! Another Loss! I am down 1.2 lbs again! That brings my loss for the year down to 6.8 lbs. I am really happy to see a loss because last week was a yo-yo. On my Monday weigh in for my 12 week contest I didn&#8217;t show a loss&#8230; so I must have gained the 1.2 lbs back over the weekend. But I apparently lost that plus the additional 1.2 lbs. I am hoping to stay focused this weekend and not have any sort of gain so I can show a loss at my contest weigh in Monday.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I haven&#8217;t posted much this week, because I have been too busy working out.  Bam! I have been hitting it pretty hard at the gym and trying to be good with my food. So here are some random things to catch you up.</p>
<p>#1. I am going through withdrawal.  From sugar. From carbs.  The 12 Week Challenge I am doing has pretty strict eating requirements including very low sugar and only getting carbs from veggies and whole grains.</p>
<p>#2. I wish I liked more vegetables. I hope that my tastes eventually change, because I really don&#8217;t like about half of the available veggies. Why can&#8217;t zucchini taste like Doritos?</p>
<p>#3. After my first full week on the 12 week challenge I lost 1 lb. Which is great, but my goal is 3 lbs a week for the 12 weeks. So I was talking with some of the trainers at my gym and got a few tips I am going to try to implement.</p>
<ul>
<li>First&#8230; no eating carbs after 4 pm. Only protein &amp; veggies are allowed. This is going to be hard for me cause I love carbs.. but I will do my best.</li>
<li>Second&#8230; eat at least 1600 calories. It sounds counter intuitive, but I am working out hard for 6-8 hours a week now and 1200 is just not enough to fuel me.</li>
<li>Third&#8230;100 g of protein every day.   With that many there really isn&#8217;t much room for carbs. (I had 125 g of protein yesterday! and 120 scheduled for today.)</li>
</ul>
<p>#4. Get my heart rate up higher. The trainer is suppose to get back to me today on exactly where he thinks it should be, but he estimates 160. I did a quick google and came up with a 135 &#8211; 154 range. When I was hanging out with Elli this morning it had my average heart rate at 136 so I think I need to kick it up a bit in intensity. I think I need a heart rate monitor. <a href="http://www.businessoflosingweight.com/losingweight/polar-ft40-giveaway/" target="_blank">Hook a girl up Hank. </a> <img src='http://www.107down.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>#5. I am really sore. Sore is normal now. Sometimes I forget till I have to stand up. Or go up stairs. Or move anything. Even my fingers. Typing hurts. Whaaa.</p>

<p>#6.  Hello Superbowl this weekend. What am I going to be able to eat at the party we are going to? Probably nothing unless I take it myself.</p>
<p>#7. Laundry Fairy: You missed my house again this week. Oh, and tell the Dish Fairy to put me on her schedule asap.</p>
<p>#8. My brother and S-I-L are expecting and announced their baby name choice this week. So stinking cute. Oh and the gift I bought them before they revealed the baby room &amp; colors totally matches everything. Score 1 for this auntie.</p>
<p>#9. I really want to start running &#8211; I have always wanted to be a runner&#8230; so I start the C25K tomorrow. I made it to week 7 last year. Hoping to get through it and enjoy it this year. I want to run Bloomsday in May. All 12k of it. Yah!</p>
<p>#10. Do your feet fall asleep on the Elliptical? My feet typically fall asleep after 15 to 20 minutes and I can&#8217;t figure out why. I change angles, shoes, socks&#8230; any ideas?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yah! I had a loss this week! Yippee! I am happy with the loss based on my calories and activity this week! I am hoping for a larger loss this next week as I ramp up my activity level with this contest I am doing.  I am still struggling with calories and being hungry a lot so I am planning for more veggies this week to fill up my stomach. I think I have typically associated that stuffed, heavy feeling in the stomach with being &#8220;full&#8221; and when I don&#8217;t feel that way I want to eat more.</p>

Previous Week: 261.2 lbs.<br />
Current Week: 259.8 lbs.<br />
Loss:  -1.4 lb.<br />

Saturday my wonderful husband and a friend threw me a surprise party! It was lots of fun and I was happy to see so many of my friends all at once! We went to HuHut for dinner so I did eat a healthy dinner! I did not say no to a delicious slice of chocolate cake though!</p>

<p>I got to wear a tiarra that said &#8220;30&#8243; and tons of random people wished me happy birthday. That was a bit strange, as I typically try to avoid attention from strangers! I am so blessed to have wonderful family and friends and I appreciate their roles in my life! Thanks for making my 30th birthday great!</p>
