First Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim footage! To me, it looks like Elder Scrolls IV with an improved graphics engine. I never did get into the Elder Scrolls series so I'm not too excited about it. But if you're an Elder Scrolls fan you probably can't wait for 11.11.11

Dead Island Trailer

Looks like I've got another game I'm watching out for. This game was originally first announced in 2007 but no developer was announced along with it. Techland, the studio behind the 'Call of Juarez' games, are confirmed to be developing it and the game will be published by Deep Silver. The game is described to be an open world "first-person zombie-slasher/action-RPG". Though the trailer has no gameplay footage, it looks both promising and disturbing.

After years of development and a couple months of hype, Rockstar finally reveals some gameplay footage of LA Noire. The gameplay looks very different from the missions you undertook in GTA or Red Dead Redemption, with more emphasis on investigating and interrogating. [...]
Free roaming around 1940's LA should be interesting. As with many Rockstar title's they know how to make the entire world they build interesting and full of small details that should keep you entertained aside from the main missions.

PSP Phone Commercial

An ad for the new PSP Phone surfaced on YouTube today. The ad confused me for the first half and then creeped me out in the end.

From the small clip [...] you see of gameplay, it doesn't seem like the Xperia Play will be as powerful as the recently announced NGP and looks a lot closer to it's previous generation PSP's.

The phone will probably be running on the Android 3.0 OS. Hardware-wise, it boasts a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and a 3.7- to 4.1-inch screen. The device also sports the four iconic PlayStation buttons, start/select buttons, a D pad, shoulder buttons, and a touch pad with what appear to be two sensors.

First Look at Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 has been in speculation for the past couple of years and was recently confirmed this January. Tomorrow, February 4th, looks like we finally get a little [...] taste of this long waited game in the form of a teaser trailer.

The newest cover on Game Informer magazine gives us a small glimpse of what's to come. The cover is in a similar style to that of Bad Company 2 which is probably a hint that the original Battlefield and Bad Company are going to be melded together in this project. Battlefield 3 will be featuring an upgraded version of the Frostbite engine cleverly named "Frostbite 2". DICE has also indicated that the environments will be "more destructible than ever before".

Expect lots of crazy CG and perhaps even a small glimpse of gameplay.

Tales of Graces F Confirmed "Coming Soon" to North America

After a few weeks of speculation, Namco Bandai has officially confirmed that Tales of Graces F is indeed coming [...] to North America through an update of their website.

The game originally came out for the PS3 in Japan in December last year and went on to sell more than 250,000 units in 2 weeks.

I'm excited being a 'Tales of' fan and all. I just hope that it'll have dual-audio. Not too optimistic about that seeing as there has never been a dual-audio version of a 'Tales of' game to date.

Epic Games "Duty Calls" Parody

Epic Games released an entire video game as part of their Bulletstorm marketing. The game is called "Duty Calls" and is [...] available free on www.thedutycalls.com . The game parodies most quirks found in a 'Modern FPS'. The game is about 5 minutes but CVG has gone ahead and played the entire thing for you.

I gotta admit, this has gotten me more interested in Bulletstorm.
