I did researched about this movie wheater it's real or not, but unfortunately it's not!! LOL!

Here why... See the photo below? Look carefully one of the crew members. HE'S IN THE MOVIE!! Farid was!! :P

For the record, this indie film really scary and OMG! cos it did caused me and my sister to screamed out of the hell, causing other people in the house to jump of their seat hearing us sreaming XD. (Fortunately we didn't watched it in HD TV, but in Laptop)

One thing for sure is that the production was taken place in the REAL old Changi Hospital.

I would give it 9 out of 10 for giving me nightmares and unabled to sleep properly for a week :P

Storyline

Haruka Yamano returns from America to Tokyo in a wheelchair, both legs having multiple fractures from a car accident. She is helped by her brother Koichi and their father. Their father travels to Singapore for business meetings and Koichi takes care of his sister and films her most of the time with his camera. The next morning, Haruka tells that her wheelchair has moved during the night and Koichi check the windows of her room to see if a stranger has broken in their house. He tells that probably a spirit had moved the wheelchair and he uses salt near the door of Haruka's bedroom to protect her against evil spirits. However, the next morning they find that the salt is spread near the door. He checks the tape and believes that the house is haunted by a ghost. He decides to tape his room too and during the days, weird noises and events happen in the house. They invite priest Saionji to purify the house against ghosts and over four days nothing unusual happens...

This is the official Japanese sequel movie of Paranormal Activity, which actually take place not long after the incident in Paranormal Activity (2007). It is actually related if only you watched the official ending of the first movie.

I did checked some reviews from views in Rotten Tomatoes that this is boring and dull. But what i think is this movie is actually good, I didn't scream, but constantly pressing the 'pause' button cos I was scared if something pops out :P (Yup, I'm a scardy-cat too).

My rating for this movie?.....I would give 7.5 out of 10

I have't really check on the 3rd movie, but not really looking forward on it, cos I need a rest from horror movies :P

The sequel to the low-budget blockbuster Paranormal Activity takes place a few months before the events of the first film. Katie (Katie Featherston), the much put-upon leading lady in the original, has a sister living in an upscale Los Angeles suburb named Kristi (Sprague Grayden).

Kristi has a new baby son, Hunter; a likable lug of a husband named Daniel (Brian Boland), who owns several fast-food joints; a teenage stepdaughter from her hubby's first marriage, Ali (Molly Ephraim); and a large, friendly dog. As the family gets used to the new arrival, strange noises are heard late at night and when they come home from an outing, they discover the house has been trashed, even though none of their valuables have been stolen.

Daniel responds by installing a security system and a network of surveillance cameras, though that doesn't stop the noises or the Latino housekeeper's insistence that spirits lurk in the home. When Katie and her boyfriend, Micah (Micah Sloat), stop by for a visit, they discuss the strange goings-on with Kristi; the women of the house believe supernatural forces are at work, while the men find that notion ridiculous. So the first time I watched this movie was in the tutorial class (cos no class on that time) with classmates. AND apparently I watched the alternative ending of this move, Paranormal activity (it was the download version).

The ending I first watched was then Katie killed Micah and ran back to the room, crying with bloody shirt and bloody knife on her hands, sitting by the bed till the next night, where 2 policemen came in found the dead body of Micah in the living room and shot Katie when she tried to kill them (based on what I remember).

However, the official ending was when dead Micah was thrown to the camera in the room and Katie kinda ate the camera, followed by text mentioning about her missing.

Whatever the ending is, I enjoyed watching and screaming and..well...jumping around scaring my sisters. I would give it a 4.5 of 5 stars.

Plot Summary: Aikawa Ayumu is a normal high school boy. One day he is killed by a serial killer and revived as a zombie by a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe. He starts to serve Eu as her guard but he happens to deprive the mahou shoujo Haruna of her magic power. Haruna orders Ayumu to fight against the anti-mahou shoujo system "Megalo" in her place.

This is just the first episode of the anime (cos I don't read manga). So I found it VERY funny and ....well, funny. LOL

And then I just finished watching the 2nd episode of it...can't really comment much about it, except having a good time watching it, but yes... I will continue watching it!!!

Highly recommended for shoujo actions and comedy XD

My Comment:
I really like this movie, not just because I like Facebook, but the story behind the making of Facebook. In the world of creating something like this is always becoming the war. To get more users, subscribers and popularity, which makes it famous. To be honest, if you're not that geek or understand a little thing about creating and designing a website, you might get confused and bored, just like my sister who was watch next to me and fell asleep.

There was once where we were asked to choose one topic from the list for our technical report for Communication Skill unit. and there are several topics about Facebook. One of them is "Will Facebook replace e-mail?". If I were to answer directly, I would say "WHY?! Isn't you need and E-mail address to login into Facebook?". But it's up to you to decide.

Anyway, enjoy watching the movie. and if you don't get the story, just watch it again or read some reviews online. Maybe you'll get what the story about.

She succeeds on both fronts, but upon returning runs headfirst into another issue: a Parisian scientist (Jacky Nercessian) with the power to heal Adele‘s comatose sister (Laure de Clermont-Tonnere) has accidentally let loose an ancient Pterodactyl above the Parisian skies. While a zany detective (Gilles Lellouche) and a hunter (Jean-Paul Rouve) attempt to eliminate the creature, the villains turn up yet again and try to thwart Adele‘s long-term plans.

This movie was released in French in April this year, but only released in Asia (Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei) Just recently in November this year.

In French, the movie is known as "Les Aventures extraordinaires d'Adèle Blanc-Sec", which is The Extraordinary Adventure Of Adele Blanc-Sec, while in Asia it was known as Adele: Rise of The Mummy.

My Comment:

The funny thing is that the movie id dubbed into English instead of using the original dubbed. One possible reason that is majority people in Asia do not speak nor understand French. But I still prefer the original....with English subtitle that is.

My comment:

Obviously I like Sci-fi movies, and Skyline had become one of them. Unfortunately, I don't like the ending of this movie. Kinda spoils everything... Survival? Yes... But unique brain (red in color instead of blue like others), is just keep me asking more question..Why the heck the brain is different from others? He was human. And what are they doing with those are pregnant?.. lots of question coming soon after the main characters being sucked up into the ship. And from what I read from Rotten Tomatoes, most comments and reviews are negative.

Popzara's Chris Pandolfi says it was little more than a "low-budget alien invasion dud filled with effects that aren't special and unnecessary human melodrama. A complete waste of resources."

Synopsis:

One day his apartment doorbell rings and a young lady named Jeong-nam Hwang (Bo-yeong Park) appears and tells Hyeon-su that he is her father. Furthermore, she informs him that he is now a grandfather to her young son, Ki-dong. Hyeon-su would like nothing better than just close the door, but when Jeong-nam threatens to go to the media he allows the young lady and her son to stay in his apartment. Complications arise when they are spotted outside together and people assume they are romantically involved!

I really like Resident Evil series, as well the games, yet I wasn't the one who playing the games. I'm just a observer and amateur critique. So for me this chapter of Resident Evil movie is quite expected for the ending except the bombing part where Alice, Chris and Claire were happy to see it. Honestly, I missed the first 30min of the movie. So I think I missed the fun part. Still I'll be watching it again to catch up what I missed for the first 30min of the movie.

This is a VERY INTERESTING action movie ever from this year. I was like 'AWESOME' when watching this at the cinema with friends. My favorite actor from this movie is of course Jet Li, cos he's so cute and handsome, and bla bla bla!~ haha

Hachiko is a purebred Japanese Akita (type of dog), who was so loyal to his owner that he would wait for him to return from work, even though the owner will never be return anymore.

There is a movie call Hachiko-Monogatari (1987), where it tells most of the story about Hachi (the Akita dog) based on the reports, newspaper and people in town.

It's an old movie, but that's what I like about it. Old movies from 80's which are based on true stories are actually pretty accurate rather than the remake, which they shift the storyline a bit.

This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love. [More detailed story about Hachiko, click here]

My Rating: ★★★★★ In 2009, Hollywood has produced the remake of this humble and beautiful story into the big screen. However, I haven't watch the American adaptation of the Japanese movie. But I do really wish to watch it.

Apart from being a singer, Ayumi is also a songwriter, a model, an actress, and a composer. Ayumi started her musical career in 1994 and released her first album “NOTHING FROM NOTHING” in 1995; the album was not successful, and she was subsequently dropped by her record label. I love the storyline, the graphics, everything!!!

I might be sitting in the 3rd row from the screen, but it was the best view ever to enjoy the 'disaster', it gave the the real feeling of what happen in the movie. *two thumbs up*

Make sure you watch it!!! Time worth it for 2hr 40min.

TURBO is a high adrenaline short film in the tradition of The Karate Kid and Tron. It tells the story of Hugo Park (Justin Chon, Twilight) a misspent youth whose only outlet for angst is a 4D fighting videogame called “Super Turbo Arena”. When Pharaoh King (Jocko Sims, Crash the Series), the Michael Jordan of cyber-sports, announces a tournament to determine who will join his pro-team, Hugo sets his eyes on the prize. But, Hugo isn’t the only gamer who wants fame and glory. If Hugo wants to win he’s going to have to beat Shamus (David Lehre, Epic Movie), the all time Turbo champ at the local Pandemonium arcade, and Ruse Kapri, a feisty prep girl that knows how to win. Realizing he can’t win on his skill alone, Hugo turns to his brother Tobias a former kick-boxer whose last match left him wheel-chair ridden. Together the two will mend old wounds and see if a washed up street fighter can teach a troubled teen how to become a virtual gladiator!

Although it isn’t Japan related, it does show us what the future of gaming could be like… To me, it is more of a mish-mash of Street Fighter, Tron and Mortal Combat! Watch and tell us how you think of the film!

Amano Tsukiko (天野月子),
affectionately known as “tsukko” (つっこ), is a japanese rock singer who is famous mostly for her song 蝶 (Chou), which was the ending song of the game Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly. She also sang Fatal Frame III’s ending song, 聲 (Koe).

She left her Major Record Label, Pony Canyon, and was left only on her Independent Label, Otokura Records, making her become an indies artist like the beginning of her career. As of September 1st, she has been signed to SMA Players, a major record label, but still releases under her indies label.
On August 1st, 2008 she announced on her blog with a very personal letter that her album ZERO will be the last one in her solo career.

Amano is also a part of A LUNCH, her side-project called which concept is a bit different although still similar to her solo one.

An interesting fact is that she has named a few of her albums and songs after famous American actors or actresses. Examples:

Ok! This time is not out of my cousin's DVD Collection Box eventhought he has one. This time is from my other cousin (for the Taiwanese version) and my friend's friend (for the Japanese version)

At first I watched the Taiwanese version of Hanazakari No Kimitachi E (For You In Full Bloom) [Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu in Taiwan]. At that time, I had no idea that it was adapted from manga+anime; Hanazakari No Kimitachi also known as Hana-Kimi, by Nakajo Hisaya. But I'm not sure which was released first!

Let me start with the Japanese version first!!!!!

Of course I really love this drama! It's about friendships with people with totally different attitudes. Eventhough it 's only 12 episodes....it makes no much different between watching 26 episodes. The Japanese version mainly focus on their friendship and not much about romance. I LOVE THE SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hanazakari No kimitachi E (Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu)

Synopsis:-

After watching a high jump competition on TV, Lu Rui Xi was so inspired by a jumper named Zuo Yi Quan that she decides to transfer to his school, which happened to be an all-boys school; therefore, she disguises herself as a boy to get accepted. At the school, Rui Xi befriends Jin Xiu Yi. One day during a friendly soccer match, Rui Xi is knocked unconscious by Xiu Yi. Quan carries her to the infirmary and realizes that Rui Xi is in fact a girl! However, Quan keeps her identity a secret. At the same time, Xiu Yi starts to question his own sexual orientation when he finds himself having feelings towards Rui Xi.

Synopsis:-

Four schoolboys find themselves the last virgins left at school. During the summer holidays, a girl they knew as children 11 years ago, movies back to the neighborhood. This story of summer - love, friendship, school, family, the hypocrisy of adults, complications of life, experience and failure is set in an everyday shopping district and shows the clumsiness of children who have developed a little later than their peers. It's a bright romantic comedy that both young and old can appreciate.

The story was nice. With 11 episodes only, you just don't realise that it's already end! One more thing!!!! This drama is not suitable for under 18. But honestly, there is not 'sex-event' shown in the story. (anyway, who cares about being virgin. It's not against law or something. hahaha!!)
