the truck has 90.000 miles on this eng. stoped eng was idleing alittle high, hit the excel to no more than 3500rpm's . eng was at full running temp. ever since the truce has run real rough. it idlees but rough. i thought it was most likley a time chain problem, ie cam gear w/ broken teeth or distrib. i have dislocated shoulder an need an expert to hopefully narrow this down for me , Greg

Is it really the Timing Belt

I have a 2001 Saturn LE, this morning while driving it stalled, died and will not start. It does turn over. I am thinking a fuel issue of some type, but have been told it may be the timing belt. Since I had NO symptoms of timing belt going bad I don't think that is the issue.
