Four Seasons Boston Wedding // Christie & Ross

Boston is one of our favorite cities and we were super excited to be there again to film Christie & Ross’s wedding. I love this couple. Not like, LOVE. They are super genuine and nice, and can I just tell you… they know how to throw a good party! The wedding took place at the Four Seasons Boston and even though it looked like it was going to chuck it down with rain, it managed to hold off until late in the evening so we were able to get some outdoor shots! It was such a pleasure working alongside Person & Killian (fab photographers) and Tasha from Simple Details Events (fab Wedding Planner). The party lasted late into the night with loads of dancing thanks to the Atlanta Showstoppers… who yes… came from Atlanta! (I have to admit… they were pretty good!)

Henry Park Year One

I am SOOO excited to share this film!! First of all, I love love love weddings. And even though I don’t have kids of my own, I sure do love children too. In fact, I have a Masters in Education! Can you believe that? I taught elementary for a few years before I decided I needed to do something CREATIVE. Teaching was definitely not for me, but I was thrilled when Carolyn Chen (fabulous wedding & party planner) called me about doing a “Year One” film for Mr. Henry Park — who turned ONE a couple of weeks ago. And of course… I was super excited. Especially because Henry’s parents are two of my favorite people… Emily & John. (You might remember their Same Day Edit and Wedding Film (email for password) from the St. Regis Princeville, Kaua’i.)

So check out this film. It was shown at Henry’s 1st Birthday Party. I can only imagine what a treasure this will be as he grows up. Who knows… maybe we will do a Year Two film? Can you imagine yearly recap films? As kids get older it would just get more interesting! Their accomplishments of the year, funny things they’ve said, new personality traits, friends, skills, etc. etc! OK I’m getting ahead of myself. Check out this film!

Laguna Beach Wedding // Amanda & Jono Same Day Edit

Ever since Darian from the Location Connection told me about this wedding, I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I had filmed a wedding at this amazing place (The Belle Palazzo Estate) several years ago, but only the ceremony. I knew it was a rare find… I think the owners only lease it out for a few events a year and it has THE most amazing view of Laguna (not to mention fantastic architecture & grounds).

And then… I met Amanda & Jono. Such a cool couple! Amanda is originally from New Orleans and moved to Sydney, Australia for work – where she met Jono. An Ultimate Runner (he ran like 100 something miles in one day — what?????) who is super nice and has a hilarious group of friends. Together, they are the ultimate couple and decided to get married in the states.

The wedding was – in a nutshell – fantastic! It featured a gospel choir for the ceremony and a “second line” right after (New Orleans tradition) as well as some Aussie influences. The design was fantastic and the florals amazing (Tick Tock Florals did the fab job). Amanda’s mom did most of the planning since she was across the pacific and everything came out beautifully. We also were lucky to work with Danielle from SkyeBlu for photography. She rocked it as usual.

One & Only Ocean Club Wedding // Leot & Vaughn

Ok… where do I start with this one. I love love love this couple. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with them too when you watch this film.

This wedding was absolutely an event to remember. Not only did it take place in the Bahamas, but it brought together a great crowd of friends and family who all had a great time. I just love how destination weddings bring people together for more than just one day.

Leot is super creative and quite the planner. The cocktail hour decor was incredible… four different color palates with different themes. And of course there was a “green” area complete with putting green and big letters L & V – just like a mini golf course! The amount of time and attention to detail that went into this three day event was just mind boggling.

Love you to pieces Leot & Vaughn!! Thanks for allowing us to be part of your wedding weekend!!

One & Only Palmilla Wedding // Cynthia & Gil Highlights

Paradise. It’s a word that’s often visualized but not often realized… until you visit this property. For some reason every time we shoot at the One & Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico, it allows us to escape and truly be embedded into their relaxing environment and the vibe of the wedding we are there to film. It’s the perfect place for a wedding because it makes you feel like there is nowhere else in the word to be except for right in that moment at that place.

Cynthia & Gil’s wedding was a stunner. We love working with the fantastic Palmilla staff and Elena Damy Floral & Event Design who always do an outstanding job. Most most of all, we loved working with this lovely couple and their little girl. Cynthia & Gil are super romantic and we had a blast filming their three days of festivities. Tribeca Rooftop Wedding // Kate & Matt

I had such a great time with Kate & Matt on their wedding day! It was a bit rainy in the morning but that didn’t stop them from having a fantastic time… they couldn’t wait to get married! We started the day at two respectively cool locations: Tribeca Grand Hotel where the girls were getting ready, and John Allan Tribeca where the guys got ready. Then it was off to St. Francis of Xavier for the Ceremony (crazy gorgeous church). After a short photo session outside the fab venue (Tribeca Rooftop) it was time for their reception on the top floor – complete with city views and rooftop access. Such a beautiful and fun day! Congrats you guys!
