I started running again. I didn’t tell anyone this time. I didn’t do it for weight loss. I didn’t do it so I could run in one of the races at the OKC Marathon (this is the first year I haven’t signed up to run). I started running for me. I started because I wanted to run. I started because I missed running. I started because I like how it helps me to relieve stress. Running is simple. I lace my shoes and go. I am a runner.

PS – The photographer makes a comment about running shoes not supposed to be pretty and thinking his are the ugliest. I don’t care what my running shoes look like. I need them to work. I think I’ve had some just as hideous. :)

I needed another humanities course so I am taking Religions of Mankind. I have an interest in different religions so why not get college credit while studying it. It will be interesting to observe from one who grew up without religion but it was part of the culture to one who became a fundamental christian to one who realized “I don’t believe this and I don’t know if I ever did”. It’s almost like the fundamental christian portion was because it was the culture in the area I was living in and then one day I woke up and couldn’t live that way anymore.
