Registration Flow For UNIFI

For order that is out of UNIFI coverage area, you have to wait for TM to release the port. However, you may also create a new customer order in Tagter.com but we will update the status to "NO COVERAGE". It is your responsibility to check the coverage from time to time and inform us once the port is ready.

UNIFI INSTALLATION

1.	Installation appointment date would normally be 2 to 4 weeks after registration. However, when we process your UNIFI order into TM portal, we will select the earliest installation date for your customer. Please inform your customers about the following rules: For landed properties such as double storey, semi-D, bungalow and others, installation is allowed to be done on any day includes weekend. For high rise building with management team such as condo and apartment, installation is only allowed to be done on weekday as most building management team are closed on weekend.

2.	Installation appointment date will be known right after UNIFI registration. A confirmation slip will be sent to you and the installation appointment date is written there. You have to inform your customer about the appointment date.

3.	Contractor will normally call your customer to confirm the appointment date 2 or 3 days before. Please remind your customer to answer phone call within these period even though the caller is an unknown number. Contractor might be using unknown number to reach your customer.

4.	If you want to re-arrange your appointment, kindly contact TM Unifi Center (1-300-88-1221).

5.	Standard installation of RM200 (15 meters of fibre optic cable) is waived until further notice. Additional charges will be implied if the fiber optic cabling exceeds 15 meters. It normally happens on landed properties. Your customer has to deal with the contractor personally.

6.	Please inform your customer that deferment of Unifi installation within 48 hours before the appointment date will lead to a penalty of RM200.

STREAMYX INSTALLATION

1.	Installation will be done within 1 week after registration if your order was processed successfully. Contractor will contact your customer for installation.

2.	Installation appointment date and contractor's detail can be found via http://sams.tm.net.my/VendorCenter/search.asp. You may call up the contractor to push for installation or rearrange appointment date.

3.	Problematic order such as order with "Kaji Siasat" or "Tunggu" status takes longer time for installation. It may take more than 1 week, 1 month or even few months for TM to solve the problem.

4.	There will be additional charges if your customer requests for extra cabling whereby customer has to deal personally with contractor.

The service is subject to a 24-month contract and a termination fee of RM500 is chargeable for termination of service within the contract period. A charge of RM200 will be imposed for the deferment within 24 hours from scheduled installation date.
If your premises reside in high rise building served via copper, you must terminate your existing Streamyx service (if any).
Minimal drilling is required for fibre installation to the premise. You will be responsible for providing 4-socket extension cord to complete the installation. No installation appointment will be made for premises under renovation.
All triple play services (internet, voice and TV) must be activated during service installation. Partial service activation is not allowed. All UniFi equipment provided by TM is subject to 12 months warranty period.
UniFi is a wired broadband service. Wireless connectivity is an option and is subject to interference and obstructions factor.
UniFi account owner or authorised contact person must be available during the service installation. For high rise premises, owners are required to make arrangement with Building Management Office for installation permission, internal cabling and access to telecommunication room.
Installation fee includes external cable entrance up to the internal wiring with maximum 15 metres for fibre cable, 15 metres for Ethernet/phone cables and 30 metres for casing (raceway). Additional charges will be applied for cable more than 15 metres & 30 metres casing (raceway).
For other non-standard installation e.g. wiring above ceiling, underground and conceal wiring, you may appoint your own contractor or deal directly with TM appointed contractor. Payment will be made directly to the contractor.
Installation time for fibre in landed properties will take between 5 to 8 hours. For high rise buildings utilising Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL2) technology will take between 2 to 3 hours.
Bill will be send to applicant's e-mail address (Please provide valid and preferred e-mail address). Bill is also accessible at myUniFi (https://occ.unifi.my). However, customer can request paper bill at TMpoint. TM may impose a minimal monthly charge for paper bill.
The first UniFi bill will include 2 months subscription fee (current & subsequent month) payable upfront.
