AT 5:30 PM ON 9 OCT MY PHONE RANG ,I WAS HAPPY TO SEE THAT IT WAS MY CLIENTS CALL WE HAD A CONVERSATION REGARDING A SHOOT FOR THE NEXT DAY. I TOLD HIM THAT I WILL BE THEIR ON THE LOCATION ON TIME SHARP 6 AM .THE CALL ENDED. I WAS HAPPY FOR I HAVE TO GO TO A WEDDING SHOOT THE NEXT DAY.I STARTED TO PACK MY EQUIPMENT MY CAMERA LENS KIT, FLASHES.CELLS CHARGERS,STROBE LIGHTS , STANDS, WIRES FOR POWER 60 AND 40 FT. IN LENGTH , BACKDROPS ETC.. EVERY THING WAS READY AS WAS PLANNED I CALLED MY ASSISTANT AND TOLD ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT AND TOLD HIM THAT I WILL PICK HIM IN THE MORNING AT 4.30 AM . I HAD DINNER AND WENT BED I WAS TIRED BUT STILL I WAS UNABLE TO SLEEP BECAUSE OF TENSION THAT I HAVE TO WAKEUP EARLY IN THE MORNING BY 3 AM

THE NEXT DAY MORNING ME AND MY ASSISTANT REACHED THE LOCATION BY 5 AM WE HAD A LOOK AROUND THE LOCATION AND WERE GETTING READY WITH THE EQUIPMENT PLACING THEM IN THEIR POSITIONS BY THE TIME WE WERE READY IT WAS 6 AM THEN AT 6.30 AM THE CLIENT AND THEIR GUEST STARTED COMING IN. AT 7.30 THE PROGRAM STARTED. IT WAS A LONG SHOOT AND BY 8 PM IT ENDED

SOME OF THE PROG. LASTS FOR 24 HR. OR MORE AT THE END OF THE DAY MY FEET WOULD BE SORE,MY LEGS TIRED,MY THIGHS AND MY BACK PAINING AND FULLY EXHAUSTED

AS I AM IN THIS PROFESSION THIS IS A ROUTINE TO ME .AS DAYS PASSED MY BACK PAIN WAS GETTING SEVERE. I CONSULTED THE DOCTOR HE DIAGNOSED ME ASKED ME MY NATURE OF WORK I DO. HE TOLD ME THAT AS A PHOTOGRAPHER YOU ARE BENDING,SQUATTING (sit with knees bent and heels touching back of thighs)TWISTING AN KNEELING FOR HOURS AT A TIME. AND MORE OVER THE WEIGHT U CARRY AND THE POSTURE WHILE AT SHOOT . THAT IS REASON YOU ARE HAVING BACK PAIN. HE ADVISED ME NOT CARRY WEIGHT, BENDING AND ADVISED ME TO TAKE REST.

IT IS A FACT THAT MANY OF US ARE SUFFERING WITH THIS TYPE OF PROBLEMS AND ARE UNABLE TO SHOW THE ART WE HAVE.. WE FEEL GUILTY ,UNDERGO DEPRESSION AND WHAT NOT.

The term contemporary wedding photography is used to describe wedding photography that is not of a traditional nature. The emphasis in contemporary photography is to capture the story and atmosphere from the day, so the viewer has an appreciation of what the wedding was like, rather than a series of pre-determined poses. Like the technology of photography itself, the practice of wedding photography has evolved and grown since the invention of the photographic art form in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce.^[1] In fact, an early photograph, recorded some 14 years after the fact, may be a recreation for the camera of the 1840 wedding of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert. However, in the early days of photography, most couples of more humble means did not hire a photographer to record the actual wedding itself. Until the later half of the 19th century, most people didn’t pose for formal wedding photos during the wedding. Rather, they might pose for a formal photo in their best clothes before or after a wedding. In the late 1860s, more couples started posing in their wedding clothes or sometimes hired a photographer to come to the wedding venue.

At the beginning of the 20th century, color photography became available, but was still unreliable and expensive, so most wedding photography was still practiced in black and white. The concept of capturing the wedding "event" came about after the Second World War. Using film roll technology and improved lighting techniques available with the invention of the compact flash bulb, photographers would often show up at a wedding and try to sell the photos later. Despite the initial low quality photographs that often resulted, the competition forced the studio photographers to start working on location.

EARLY HISTORY OF PHOTOSHOP

In 1987, Thomas Knoll, a PhD student at the University of Michigan began writing a program on his Macintosh Plus to display grayscale images on a monochrome display. This program, called Display, caught the attention of his brother John Knoll, an Industrial Light & Magic employee, who recommended that Thomas turn it into a full-fledged image editing program. Thomas took a six-month break from his studies in 1988 to collaborate with his brother on the program. Thomas renamed the program ImagePro, but the name was already taken.[8] Later that year, Thomas renamed his program Photoshop and worked out a short-term deal with scanner manufacturer Barneyscan to distribute copies of the program with a slide scanner; a "total of about 200 copies of Photoshop were shipped" this way.[9]

During this time, John traveled to Silicon Valley and gave a demonstration of the program to engineers at Apple and Russell Brown, art director at Adobe. Both showings were successful, and Adobe decided to purchase the license to distribute in September 1988.[8] While John worked on plug-ins in California, Thomas remained in Ann Arbor writing code. Photoshop 1.0 was released on February 19, 1990 for Macintosh exclusively.[10][11] The Barneyscan version included advanced color editing features that were stripped from the first Adobe shipped version. The handling of color slowly improved with each release from Adobe and Photoshop quickly became the industry standard in digital color editing. At the time Photoshop 1.0 was released, digital retouching on dedicated high end systems, such as the SciTex, cost around $300 an hour for basic photo retouching.
