Tonight (22nd October 2015) was the first night back to Scouts for us with new Leaders. Welcome to Michael Glentworth as Scout Leader, Kathryn Prescott, Colin & Kim Lee and Cheyenne Adams as Assistant Scout Leaders. First night activity was pumpkin carving and a game called sticks. Check the gallery for pictures of the pumpkins. A great first night back and was great to see so many Scouts back.
It has been another busy and eventful year for the Troop. All the traditional Scouting skills of first aid, cooking, knots and lashings, map reading and navigation have been well covered and we have attended most District events, with varying degrees of success....
Twenty-seven Scouts, with leaders, spent a beautiful autumn day cycling at Fowlmead Country Park, racing round the tarmac track and exploring the many off-road tracks. The day finished with a treasure hunt.
Thirty-five of the Scouts were amongst the 6,500 Scouts and Guides from around the world who attended Kent International Jamboree at the County Showground, Detling....

Twenty-two Scouts, in five patrols, took part in this year's District Emden Shield Competition....
Twenty-three of the Scouts, with six leaders, took part in a night hike to Shepherdswell, a village a few miles from Dover, on a dry, chilly Friday evening....
Thirty of the Scouts took part in the recent District Scout Ten Pin Bowling Competition, held in Margate.
