Straight off the catwalk the Autumn Winter 2011′s trend for hair is androgynous!
Vera Wang, Dolce and Gabanna and Kenzo all went for the masculine short crop with soft full frontal quiffs – a few slicked crops were also in evidence in their shows.
The alternate side of the coin was soft and feminine long locks with big natural waves.
Colour-wise it’s all autumn warm shades and hues – from tangerine dream to nutty mahogany – warm tones are everywhere!

Shellac Nails – 20% off new treatment at 171 and EXM

We’ve finally discovered a nail polish that will really last without chipping or damaging your nails!

Here at 171 and EXM we have been testing out various kinds of nail polish and nail treatments for years, searching for one that will last. With our hands in water and oils so often we’re lucky if nail polish even lasts a couple of days.
When Shellac nails hit the market with such a huge fanfare we had to give it a try – and it does work! After my first application I had only 2 small chips after 11 days, the only problem was the infill as my nails had grown – five other members of staff tested it and all came to the same conclusion.
We were so delighted with the results, we decided to add the new Shellac nail treatment to our treatment list for both salons.
