YoMoMedia also has a web application and it syncs your feed between these applications. The mobile app also gives you an option to send interesting feeds to your friends. Have you ever been curious to see the level of your blood alcohol concentration, after a night of drinking, but don’t have a breathalyzer? A member on XDA, IIIzeusIII, has created a BAC calculator just for that purpose. Now, after a handful of drinks, you can see just how drunk you might be.

Note: it seems to be only for WVGA devices right now, but the developer is very helpful and said he could port it for VGA screens (if there is a demand for it). He also seems to be taking suggestions. There are two versions, English and German, so visit the developer’s thread and download after the break.

Unlike other similar programs, this one has all those features in one app. It was just released, so there may be some bugs. It is, however, worth the download to help you be more productive.

Push towards Finger Friendly Interface on WM6.5

I haven’t flashed my device with the new WM6.5 yet. So I am not quite aware of all the changes in the new ROM builds found @ PPCGeeks. But there has been quite a bit of change in the User Interface and it looks great , Microsoft has realized that finger friendly interface is a must and have made some changes and it looks really good. Compare the screenshot below the 1st one is from WM6.5 ROM Build 21139.5.0.0 and the 2nd one is from Build 21925.5.0.60

In the 1st one thee tabs Copyrights, Version, Device ID are the plain old tabs as in WM6.0 but in the 2nd one the position has been shifted to the top and are no longer in tabs but a slider interface. I for one am loving this new look , What about you guys ?

Hot Fix

HTC just released a Bluetooth security hotfix for HTC Touch Diamond/Touch Pro/Touch HD; This hotfix can enhance the security mechanisms of the Bluetooth service according to HTC. We hope it can resolve this Security vulnerability we posted a few days back. Since this is only a HOTFIX you will need to re-apply it after a ROM Upgrade or Hard Reset.

Installation of the HOTFIX is simple just download BLA_S00279.exe to your device and run it. It will Soft Reset your device after installation.
