I’ve made this post to respect and appreciate our brother - Marteh’s top flight work on finding, maintaining and building a truly stunning 180sx. This car is in my humble opinion the cleanest 180sx that i’ve seen in the UK, unfortunately it met it’s end last year. This was a real tragedy and I truly feel for Marteh. That said I cannot wait to see what this man comes up with next! All the best brother, love your work!

The absolute grand master of 180sx’s pictured here doing what he does best: KOGUCHI MAXIMUM DRIFT!! This black pearl painted classic 180sx has been the poster child of Sbody fans like myself for years, classic Hot Road aero, dished Work VS-KF rims, fire spitting from the exhaust.. it’s just f***ing cool.

Seeing as Joe bumped this for the first time in a while. I figured an update is needed on my behalf as well.

For a while I have been unhappy with my car’s ride height. But my 17’s and the RB/IG kit combo would have meant my car would have been grounded to fill the arches.

So I decided to take the plunge and find some 18’s……took a while to get and longer to fit….
But here is the car as of Sunday.

Car is going to be changing a lot this year. Got a 2871r, 850cc saards, Tomei poncams and a whole host of stuff to fit.

Aiming to have it all done for the SXOC weekender in july.

I found a photo of this gorgeous RPS13 while trawling through the net, the shot looks like it’s at one of the drift tracks in Japan. BN Sports aero, low ride height and chrome Blitz wheels really sets this car off.

After seeing Joe’s 180 with the staggered wheels front and back, i though that looks pretty smart. Due to Failing the MOT on the front tyres and having an argument with my local tyre fitters because there prices have gone up £20 per tyre and they couldn’t offer me any better deals after using them for years.

Now my brother has some 17″ tyres in the garden which he wasn’t using, i thought what better excuse do i need to try the staggered look. So i purchased some 17″ Advan’s from a fellow SXOC member and put my brothers tyres on.

Upon seeing how they look (I think they look better in the arch in comparison to 18′), i am going to purchase a set of 17″ work emotions to match the back.

It’s been a while since i’ve come on to update the progress of my car but most of it was just accumulating parts so i could increase the power to my intended 350bhp, but due to an accident driving to work this will no longer be achieved on this car.

As i was just collecting parts the only updates were recent pictures that i got before the snow and salt landed on out roads.

So i shall share my pics before the accident and ill reveal what the car looks like after the accident :(

The car then attended a drift event which it didnt take part in (was suppose to take part this year but… oh well) so instead i drove around to take some pics of the car lol

Then it came to an end

I feel sick when looking at these pictures because it was my pride and joy and it was all coming together, but it could have been alot wost and luckily no one else was involved as i spun out on a straight road. i just hope that wheel is repairable!!

Now i just need to look forward to the next 180sx project in the future which should move along quicker than this one did because all the parts are still piling up.
