It is equipped with a 2002 Corvette LS1 350 cubic inch engine and a six speed transmission. The body was restored from the frame up. The paint is called Boyd Coddington Red, and it is a bit darker than your usual bright red. The door handles were shaved, and some of the trim modified to give this 1955 Chevy a unique look.

The interior is tan leather. Custom low back buckets are incredibly comfortable, and a custom built center console houses the shifter for the six speed manual transmission, as well as an array of classically designed auxiliary gauges, power window switches, and a powerful Pioneer stereo system with XM capabilities. With reliable OEM grade components throughout and a professional level of craftsmanship, this 55 Chevy will thrill on lookers as much as the driver.

Find new information as well as photos, specifications, body styles, wiring diagrams and more on the 1955 Classic Chevrolet at our web site - http://55classicchevy.com

GM builds new 1955 Chevy, introduces 'green' crate motors

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_AOXixJlerNs/TM6jQdJ4URI/AAAAAAAABO0/ROnMqN8_QKI/s400/55chevy.jpg" border="0" alt="1955 Chevy"id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534540495184220434" />
General Motors built this mean 1955 Chevrolet 210 hot rod to show off its new "green" LS3 crate motor at SEMA in 2009. They borrowed a roof design from a 1954 Motorama show car, opened up the rear wheel wells, striped the tailgate in chrome and created the Nomad. A part of the top ranked Bel Air series, the Nomad featured its own side trim and waffle pattern upholstery. The Nomad cost $309.00 more than a four door Bel Air wagon. This is a 1955 Bel Air two door all original hardtop with only 8400 actual miles. This 55 Chevy is unrestored a true survivor perhaps the only one like it in the United States. It has the original paint, original interior, it even has the original tires that came on the car in 1955. Everything works on this car. We love the color on this 55 Chevy. Black and silver is my favorite. This looks like it is done right with a 350 engine, 350 transmission, power steering, power brakes, new wiring harness and new gas tank. The body and paint on this car is in excellent condition. It has a great looking stance with the rear wheels tucked neatly under the rear fenders. The body is nice and straight and the paint job is slick. Very nice matching custom interior. The chrome is in good condition and this car draws a crowd everywhere it goes and is a great driver.

The wheels are chrome 17 inch SS Crager Custom Wheels with Goodyear Eagle LS tires P225/55R17 on the front and P235/55R17 on the rear.

Find new information as well as photos, specifications, body styles, wiring diagrams and more on the 1955 Classic Chevrolet at our web site - http://55classicchevy.com

1959 Chevrolet Impala For Sale In Ohio

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 191px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_AOXixJlerNs/SSAkvsUJX6I/AAAAAAAAA8g/cRpKBFfRfSc/s400/1959-3.jpg" border="0" alt="1959 Chevrolet Impala"id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269251965791592354" />Beautiful 1959 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hard top for sale in Ohio. This is a Beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, that was finished in 2006. This '55 was built from a very good car to start with, it had no rust, and had very good panels. The body is in great shape, there are no dings, there are no chips or scratches, the car is laser straight. Everything on the car is custom, but from the outside it looks fairly stock. The car sits very low, and clearances are very minimal to fit everything in this car. Interior is totally custom, with power buckets up front, and buckets in the rear. It has power windows, custom door panels, custom console, and stereo system, everything works inside. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_AOXixJlerNs/SOyzplu5L4I/AAAAAAAAA7Y/o0-hPH493Iw/s400/1955-8a.jpg" border="0" alt="Chevrolet 502 Engine"id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254772392319332226" />This car runs very good, and just sounds awesome. Finished in a beautiful two-tone combination of India Ivory (upper) and Imperial Ivory, with a Black & Red pattern cloth & vinyl interior. The Nomad rolls on four correct 15 inch steel wheels, with Coker Classic wide white-wall tires. Under the hood you will find a correct, dated coded 283 V8, completely rebuilt, topped by a correct intake manifold, carburetor, heads, valve covers and exhaust manifolds. Transmission is a rebuilt 2 speed automatic Powerglide.

As Nomad nuts will tell you, finding original, correct 1957 Nomads is darn near impossible. One of my favorite cars of all time is the 1955-1957 Chevrolet Nomad. There’s something about these cars that strikes a nerve each and every time I lay eyes on one.
