I cannot stop myself from sharing this with all of you.

Its all started when I received a call from someone claiming that he was from Maxis and he asked me to shutdown my phone for 2 hours for 3g update to take place. As I was rushing for a meeting, I did not question and shutdown my cell phone.

After 45 minutes I felt very suspicious since the caller did not even introduce his name. I quickly turned on my cell phone and I received several calls from my family members and the others were from the number that had called me earlier - 3954380.

I called my parents and I was shocked that they sounded very worried asking me whether I am safe. My parents told me that they had received a call from someone claiming that they had me with them and asking for money to let me free. The call was so real and my parents even heard 'my voice' crying out loud asking for help. My parent was at the bank waiting for next call to proceed for money transfer. I told my parents that I am safe and asked them to lodge a police report.

Right after that I received another call from the guy asking me to shutdown my cell phone for another 1 hour which I refused to do and hung up. They keep calling my cell phone until the battery had run down. I myself lodged a police report and I was informed by the officer that there were many such scams reported. MOST of the cases reported that the victim had already transferred the money! And it is impossible to get back the money.

Be careful as this kind of scam might happened to any of us!!! Those guys are so professional and very convincing during calls. If you are asked to shut down your cell phone for updates by the service provider, ASK AROUND! Your family or friends might receive the same call.

KUALA LUMPUR :Police have mounted an inter-state manhunt for a notorious gang which robbed a couple before raping their eight-year-old daughter in their Kepong home on Monday. They believe the same gang is also behind Tuesday's incident where a 31-year-old housewife was gang raped by five men in front of her husband at a house in Kelana Jaya after relieving them off RM30,000 in cash and valuables. In the first incident on Monday, three knife-wielding men broke into house in Bukit Maluri, Kepong, at 2.30am and held up the family. The robbers, who entered from the back door, then threatened the couple and their three children before tying them and ransacking the house.

Several minutes later, two of the robbers took the couple's eldest daughter to a room and allegedly raped her.. The gang then fled after 40 minutes with about RM5,000 in cash and valuables.

City police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Meor Chek Hussin Mahayuddin said police had also beefed-up patrols in the area. They are liaising with their counterparts in Negri Sembilan where the gang is believed to be also operating.

Here is the true story.
There is a girl was raped and murdered. She went back to work on a public holiday with another girl, the boyfriend even packed lunch for them and later when the girls wanted to go home, the car couldn't start and the other girl's boyfriend who came to pick her up didn't wait because the girl told them to go off first and there was a security guard helping her. She didn't come home that night and they found her body in a burnt car abandoned in a rubber estate in Dengkil on the 3rd day.
The guard reported to work and acted normal during the police investigation but when the police questioned him again, he remembered the color of her clothes in detail and they noticed that the hair on his hands were seared although there was no burnt marks. He finally admitted that he is the one that killing her. There was no cover up but the case was not publish in the newspapers.

Don't ever trust the security guards.
Be sure to keep the office door lock. Hey girls, be forewarned and please be doubly, even triply cautious whenever there is a need to stay back late at work. If at all possible, leave the plant/company early when there are still people around. Better yet, if there is still work that must absolutely be completed by that day, bring it home!
Just heard about a rape case at a MNC(multinational company) which just happened sometimes back last year. The victim is married with kids, she worked till 11.00 pm. Security guard raped her in the toilet. She managed to escape and drove herself to the hospital.

Next day, the other employees was shocked to see the condition of the toilet.. Blood and her hair everywhere, and all the brooms and mops were broken. The police later came and arrested the security guard, who still reported for work the next day. However, they manage to cover it up, not even come up in the newspaper or any media.
I can't imagine how such cases have been covered up in Malaysia . It's because they are MNC. (This is a sad reality)

Please girls, don't put your life in danger by working late or being negligent. You can never be too careful nowadays. Malaysiaranks number 2 in crime against woman.

Money Trick

This afternoon (14/04/2009), while waiting for my husband in front of the bank ( MBB, Jalan Taiping, Klang), I saw a Malay lady bending down to throw some RM1.00 notes behind the tyre of a car parked in front of mine.

After throwing the notes, she knocked the car's window to tell him that he has dropped some money. Right after that, a man came knocking on my window, also telling me that I have dropped something.

Fortunately, I was not conned by them because I have witnessed what that Malay lady was doing. They came in a group of 4 (1 lady and 3 guys whom all look like foreigners; like the Arabian/ Moroccan type).They will rob you once you open your car door to check.

Please pass this email to all your friends, relatives and colleagues to warn them about these people even if you are not from Klang.

Old Scam (but worth reading)

Regardless you know me or not, please do read on as it will help you beaware of the going on scam and also please forward it to your friends, family, relative and everyone that you know. I know you might say " How stupid is she to fall on such trap" BUT believe me, I had once thought of the victims like that and when I ended up in that situation, I FALLED FOR IT. All my friends could not believe it when they heard that I had been tricked to purchase stuff that I do not need at the price of RM 3894 because they know that even if I were to spend RM 50, I would think about it for a long time. You can continue to laugh at me with all you might but PLEASE PLEASE remember the company name and product that I will be stating below.

Below are my experience on how everything happened.

On the 28th November 2005, after work at 7 pm, I went home as usual. During the journey I stopped at an Esso Petrol Station around 1-2 kilometres from my house. Everything was as usual until one young gal come up to me and seek my help to open up one of her coupon in a sealed envelope and she would gain RM1 for that. Thinking that no harm doing that and out of sympathy, I opened it. The next thing was, the salesgirl was jumping up and down in front of me and kept congratulating me. I was blurred and was then told that I am get one of the 50 big prizes coupon and stand a VERY HUGE chance in winning either a Perdana (1), a Kancil (10), a massagin chair (2), a plasma TV or a Jaguh motorcycle.

AT that time, I KNOW it is some kind of scam and I wanted to go off. However, the salesgirl kept on talking and convincing me. Then another of her guy colleague approached us and the surprise reaction they gave me as soon as they see the coupon was so real. Then both of them started to persuade me again. After a while another guy came claiming to be their supervisor and he gave the same reaction. They asked me to go to their office to see their manager, as the manager need proof that I had opened the coupon. I was very reluctant still and I said I want to go home as my house is very near to seek a second opinion. But they kept on talking and giving all the reasons and scenarios and all kinds of thing to keep me from going home or seeking second opinion. Even say if I win the car the salesgirl would get RM1000 out of it and she would be able to use the money for her sturdy. Okay, let's cut the story. So I ended up in their office and even more people were talking, showing you all those newspaper cuttings on people winning, showing their license to you, telling you that their product is from JAPAN (actually it is from CHINA) and they do everything to gain your trust and everything went on so fast and I ended up signing my credit card with RM 3894. Of course they will give u product and everything and the result of opening the coupon was a massage chair. At that time I felt everything was fine.

I went home with those product, gave it to my family to do whatever they want. Then out of sudden I realised something was very wrong. I went online and search for the product name and instantly I got a blog whereby there are many comments on THIS SCAM~!! And of the same product and company. I felt so stupid and irritated with myself. Luckily I found a website that teach me what to do (below site).

Immediately the next day, I went to file a Consumeer Tribunal against that company to have my money back and made a complaint at the Complain Department against that company. AND TO MY SURPRISE, they already knew about it. I do not even need to mention further, all I need is to tell them the product name and they already know how they work without me even telling further. In addition to that, at the tribunal I met another girl whom also falled for this trap and guess what IT IS THE SAME COMPANY. After a small talk with her….IT IS THE SAME TACTIC THEY HAD USED. Gaining your sympathy, targeting people that are alone, after work, don't event give you a minute to think, they seems to be able to read your mind (what are you thinking, they will know) and etc. Later after settling the tribunal filing, I went back to the company and to my horror, there is another guy being tricked as I saw him moving the massaging chair and other stuff into his van. So I know I got to do something to tell everyone about this.

Their product is Zunishu/Diverse and they have company in penang, perak, kl, seremban, selangor, terengganu and god knows where else. They have various company name such as HomeSonic, CitiSonic, Top-Ed Marketing (refer to the website you'll know more), Techligent SDN. BHD. They will also lure you into believing by saying that their manager is using SLK, there is no reason to cheat on you. The manager's SLK that I had encountered plat number is PGA 90.

To those staying around old klang road, their office is at KUCHAI BUSINESS CENTRE. Their full adrress had been stated in the website. Please take precaution.

If you think you are smart, they are even people smarter and trickier than you. Now I am waiting for the hearing to try to get back the money. During this period I do not want anyone to fall into their scams again. Please forward this around.

，然后那个骗子還用我朋友的号码到处向人借钱！！他还和我哥借！我朋友已经向警方报警了，结果警察没理他，而且还说已经很多个遇到来报警了！既然很多个报警怎么警察还无动于衷呢？？？？所以既然警察"這么忙"不帮我们，那我們只好靠朋友和媒體來傳達著訊息了!!!!!!!!!!!!

帮忙提款

今天经过一栋大楼门口，门口有一提款机。有一个老伯，一直看著我走过他身边，突然叫住我。他说他不识字，拿一张提款卡要我帮他在大楼门口的自动提款机取钱。我回答我无法帮你取，叫警卫帮你。结果，他就回答我说不用了, 继续找其他路人帮他取钱。朋友们要记住---取款机可是有摄影机耶。万一他说我抢劫或是偷他的提款卡，甚至他的卡片是偷来的，帮他领钱会在提款机留下影像，绝对会让你百口莫辩！我会警惕!

是因为已有同事上当，目前仍官司缠身。显然这是诈骗集团在找替身了! 请力传出去~~~
骗案真是层出不穷,一不小心就会踏入陷阱,真是令人防不胜防！提醒各位朋友在外多小心！

At 2pm of 7 Jan 2010 , my colleague received a phonecall from her nursery that they have lost her daughter, aged 8, Malay at Sri Damansara area. Her name is Nurul Lyana. Nurul was out to buy ice-cream together with another little girl at around 12pm , but didn't go back to her nursery after that. As told by the other girl, an unknown makcik brought Nurul to see puppy cat.

青年輕快鐵站被劫殺星洲日報‧2010.01.10
（吉隆坡）這起劫殺案發生在安邦路附近的尼巴路。死者是在遮拉迪路輕快鐵站，步行前往尼巴路韓國駐馬大使館附近取車途中出事。他與在安邦路一家保險公司擔任電腦軟件工程師的大哥陳政權，相約好下班後各自到泊車的地點會合，以便一同開車回斯里鵝嘜住家，卻在途中遇刺。

大家看了以上报导，会不会觉得有个共同点？连续两天里，轻快铁站发生了两宗罪案。前一宗的女受害者頭部受傷，后一宗就不治身亡。这两起看似没联系的个案，其实拥有三个共同点：
1。在輕快鐵，停车场附近
2。单独一人
3。身上带有包包
如果以上三个条件同时出现，也就代表你的处境很危险。所以要提醒大家了。。。别单独在輕快鐵附近步行，如果非要单独，要时时提高警惕后面或身旁的陌生人。还有，最好不要带包包。

3. If you call this number, you will lose all your money..

NOTE: If you encounter the above matter, please DO NOT call the number. One of my friends just lost RM70000 on last Sunday and Maybank checked his last transaction was on that day itself even though he did not withdraw any money. Please forward this to your friends.

A Helpful Stranger

Very important info!!! Pls read n take note....be carefull at all times Warning !

I was at a souvenir shop at Jalan H.S.Lee, Petaling Street on Tuesday evening. A young Indian lady told me that there's a stain on my pants.(The young Indian is around 20-25 yrs old, long hair, about 160cm tall, her skin is quite fair, she's wearing t-shirt & jeans and she's speaking very fluent English.)

I turned back and checked and found out that there's a red stain looked like paint on my pants. So, this lady helped me to clear the stain from my pants. After that, I continue looking for soft toy in the shop. Then, the lady asked me whether I want to clean the stain. I rejected her offer and told her that I'm going back home and I can clean it at home.

After that, she told me that she was a teacher at a famous tuition center in KL just opposite the shop and she's waiting for her brother. She wanted to go to toilet to wash her hands (Her hand was dirtied when helping me to wipe away the stain) and she invited me to go to the toilet with her. So, I followed her to the toilet to clean the stain on my pants. She brought me to the ladies at the 1st floor of the tuition center. I took off my bag and put it on the basin so that I can clean the stain on my pants.

While I was cleaning, she took my bag and ran away. Everything was just happened in 3 minutes. I was so shock when I found out my bag and the lady was gone. The young Indian lady left her things in the toilet and ran away with my bag. I searched through her belongings and found a lipstick in the envelope she left.

Then, I realized that she's the one who put the red lipstick stain on my pants and pretended to help me. I went to the tuition center together with the police officer for investigation on the next day. I was able to recognize the young Indian lady from the CCTV record. The security head of the tuition center told me that I am the 2nd victim.

5 months ago, the same young Indian lady did the same case using same method at the same place to 1 of the student in the tuition center. During the investigation, I was told that to print out the young Indian lady's photo from the CCTV costs RM150. The tuition center wanted me to bear the printing cost because I'm neither a staff nor a student there. I refused to bear the cost because I am the victim.

I asked the police officer whether the police force can bear the cost because it's an evidence. Guess what the police officer told me: He told me not to put too much hope that they will be able to catch the thief, 70%-80% that they will not be able to catch the thief. Sigh...

With all the evidence provided (the CCTV record, the thief's belongings, and her finger print was printed on the envelope she left), the police officer told me not to put too much hope that they will be able to catch the thief. I was so disappointed. So, I decided to share my experience to everyone of you. Hopefully you will not be the next victim because the thief is still free out there.

This is her 2nd successful case, so there will be 3rd time and so on until she's caught. The police officer told me that such cases always happen at Bukit Bintang and Low Yat Plaza area.

So, pls be careful when you are at that area and trust no one. Just ignore and walk away when a stranger tells you that your clothes is dirty. Pls share my experience to your friends and family especially ladies. Hopefully your friends and family will not be the next victim.

Credit card scam upon check in

You arrive at your hotel and check in at the front desk. When checking in, you give the front desk your credit card (for all the charges for your room). You get to your room and settle in. Someone calls the front desk and asked for (example) Room 620 (which happens to be your room).

Your phone rings in your room. You answer and the person on the other end says the following, ' This is the front desk. When checking in, we came across a problem with your charge card information. Please re-read me your credit card number and verify the last 3 digits numbers at the reverse side of your charge card. '

Not thinking anything you might give this person your information, since the call seems to come from the front desk. But actually, it is a scam of someone calling from outside the hotel/front desk. They ask for a random room number. Then, ask you for credit card information and address information. Sounding so professional that you do think you are talking to the front desk.

If you ever encounter this problem on your vacation, tell the caller that you will be down at the front desk to clear up any problems. Then, go to the front desk and ask if there was a problem. If there
was none, inform the manager of the hotel that someone called to scam you of your credit card information acting like a front desk employee.

Notes at Door Handle

If you get RM10.00 in your car door handle, use tissue paper or cloth to remove it without opening it and if possible bag it. Drive away immediately.

Don't check the note until you are in the company of your friends or relatives. The note could either contain powdered drugs to knock you out or make you wonder if some guilty motorist compensating you for a knock or scratch on your car, while you are still wondering, the robber(s) will attack you as you check the car.

You Won a Lucky Draw

WARNING PPL!!!! THERE IS REALLY LOTS OF HIGH- TECH SCAMMERS IN MALAYSIA - This is a true story

Only recently, I have received a phone call asking if I can do a phone survey as they are from Hong Kong, just venture into Malaysia recently and would like to know more about the consumer's taste and buying pattern. I have answered several questions and at the end of the call, the operator gave me a set of "numbers". She invited me to attend the opening of their shop and said that the number is for "lucky draw" purposes.

I did not go for the event but i received a phone call that tells me my "number" was called out in the cash prizes event and have won a sum of monies. The next day, the "event organiser" called me up and said since i did not attend the event, they have held the prize for me and will "TT" the "monies" into my bank account. Apparently, I have won RM150k. WOW!!!

I didnt quite believe what i have heard and i refused to give them my bank account number. Instead I told them to write a cheque for me and wanted to know more about them. They gave excuses that they cant send me the cheque but they have opened a temporary account in one of the top 3 Hong Kong's Bank where they have placed the monies there and even gave me the account number/ password to verify with the bank that the account indeed is opened under my name. They told me to call a number in Hong Kong.

I did call "THE BANK" with the number they provided and true enough, the "automated voice machine" confirmed that I have HKD300k deposited in "THE BANK". I almost believed them!!!! They even have a website where they sell their products where people can buy online. I also called the HOTLINE in Hong Kong to check if they have branches in Malaysia and they as well confirmed that, YES they have and they do give out such large sum of cash prizes.

Luckily, I went one step further and call up the "REAL THE BANK" with a number i found online from the bank's website. My call was transferred to several people in the bank (the real bank) AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT THERE IS NO SUCH ACCOUNT NUMBER, NO SUCH SERVICE AS TEMPORARY ACCOUNTS, AND THE NUMBER OF "THE BANK" IS NOT REGISTERED AS ONE OF THEIR BRANCHES, THE OPERATOR TOLD ME THAT MANY MALAYSIANS, SINGAPOREANS called them as well asking to confirmed such transactions and she told me that the bank phone number I used previously to confirmed the "$$$" is a PERSONAL HANDPHONE NUMBER in Hong Kong.

BEWARE OF SUCH CALLS AND NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR IC NUMBER/BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER, they will TRANSFER OUT ALL YOUR MONEY INSTEAD OF PUTTING MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT!!!!!! THEY ARE VERY SHOPHISCATED AND HAVE COVERS LOTS OF LOOSE ENDS TO MAKE YOU BELIEVE IN THEM!!!!

科技改变了人的态度

科技的发达带来了生活的便利，也改变了很多人的态度(a.k.a.变态)。这些态度被改变的人做了很多我们常人不了解也不可能会做的事。针孔录影器十几年前只有情报员(Jame Bond)才有的秘密武器，但是现在的针孔录影器在网上轻而易举就可以买到。虽然我们不能了解他们这些态度改变的人为什么要这样，但是我们有权利知道及“表扬”他们的这些行为。犯罪者也许还会以这些录影来进行勒索。这些行为可以用大马法律Kanun Keseksaan (Akta 574)被提控。
请大家告诉大家，Beware of Spycame!以下列出一些曾经被揭发或怀疑被安装了针孔录影器的地方：
1. Midvalley Megamall (谷中城)
2. KLCC Suria
3. Tesco changing room (branch unknown)

所以大家要打醒十二分精神，虽然当时可能“风头火势”，也最好小心检查每个角落，看看有没有可疑的电线或小孔。如果有，可暂时将厕纸将小孔塞住，等解决完毕，立刻告诉保安人员彻查。

如果你懂得什么地方被怀疑有针孔录影器,请上来“表扬”一下哦！让大家提防。

I want a peaceful Malaysia

Please help to build a better Malaysia. I always wanted to live a peaceful life in this blessed land. I have heard a lot of news of gun shot in the coffee shop, robbery inside the lift of a tower with security, kids being kidnap from school, girl being rape in the school, jewelry shop in hypermarket being robbed. You may wonder why all this crime happen? That place should be safe. Yes, it should be but it is no more safe.

The crime rate in Malaysia are rising and has reached an alarming state. Many has been proposed and promised but crime rate has never reduced. The People are not more safe to enjoy casual lifestyle like before. No morning jog in tranquil park; No more leaving the doors or windows wide open for good ventilation during the night; No more chit chating with neighbours outside the gate; no more dressing as sexy for a romantic dates; no more bringing your lovely bags to match your style of the day; no more strolling freely in neighborhood after meal (that is what i likes to do!).

Each time and everyday, when i read or saw on the media about crimes and violence, I feel sorry for what has happen but cannot change the situation. I feel angry that murderers and rapists are still on the loose. I feel sad that the victims of brutal crimes died in vain. But i can help myself to be traumatically scare. This happen because hiring guard, installing more security devices, even keep a weapon in the house may never assure you a safe and a peace of mind. We the public have no means of protecting ourselves from these criminals. What else should we do?

You will never know who is going to be next victim. You will never know the person you met who looks nice are entrapping you. The criminals are getting daring and more brutal knowing that the police are having a tough time nailing them. They are getting smarter. Nonetheless, the reality is time and time again, the crimes are being repeated. That means we can learn our way to fight their intelligence. We together can share the truth and experience to keep us and everyone alert. Because it's too late to feel sorry if the crime happen to you or your love one because you never warn them about. Burglary | 破窃
Do lock the room door when sleeping at night.
Hide if you hear any sound or suspect somebody broke into your house.
Call the nearest police station. The phone list you may get here.
Do not try to fight when confront with criminal.
If you have a car with a remote control alarm, keep within reach at night. in case anything happen, you may use it as alarm system.
If you stay with ladies, do try to hangs more guys cloths outdoor to make an illusion that there are guys in the house.

Snatch Theft
Do not bring bags or purse that associate with money inside.
If you really need to bring something, carry in a shopping bag.
If you really need to carry a bag, carry with a sling hang across chest.
When walking on street, walk in opposite direction with traffic flow where you can see the vehicle that coming forward.
Beware of the snatch theif stereotype: 2 man riding on a motorbike.

Robbery
Do not walk alone leisurely especially in car park, park, back-lane etc.
To prevent robber take away your important document, do keep your IC in a separate card folder. Keep a fake or useless ATM card at your wallet.
When there is no way to run, offer your wallet voluntarily.
After withdraw money at ATM, do not head directly home, linger around while keep alert with anyone suspecting.
If you drive a car, when you stop, do alert with anyone around before open the door.
When filling in petrol station, do stop your engine and lock the car even there are someone in the car.
Do not offer help if you see any minor accident because that might be a trap. If you see someone injured, unless you know about first aid, do not stop over and help. Instead, call ambulance and police at once.
If someone offer help after accident occur, keep an eye on your belongings.
Do not stop over for a rest along highway or street where people hardly pass-by.

Scam
If something seems too good to be true, 99% that it is a scam.
Do not pick up money or pack or envelope on street. There may be a trap.
Do check with the official bank operator regarding any transaction related issues.
Do no reveal password or credit card number over phone.
Occasionally change your password.

1. 警方的提醒：手肘是身體最有力的部位。距離夠近，就善用手肘！

2. 假如歹徒向你要皮夾或錢包，不要遞給他，而是將皮夾或錢包往遠處丟去。歹徒很可能對財物比對你有興趣，他會去拿皮夾或錢包，這是你逃跑的機會。往反方向拼命跑！！

3. 假如你被丟進車子的後車廂：把車後燈踢破，將你的手從洞中伸出去，用力揮手，駕駛人看不到你，但是其他人看得到。這個方法救過無數人命。

4. 女性常常在購物、吃飯及下班後進入車子，然後就坐在駕駛座上處理事情（如記帳、列清單等）。千萬不要這麼做！歹徒會藉機觀察情勢，闖入車內，拿槍威脅，控制你的行動。進入車內，立即鎖門，駛離現場。

5.在平面停車場及立體停車場的幾個注意事項：

A. 要警覺：環顧四周；察看車內的乘客座和後座。（接近車子時，留意車底。）
B. 假如你的車子停在箱型車旁，則應該從乘客車門進入你的車子。許多連續殺人犯都是趁著女性要進入車中時，將她們拖進箱型車中加害。
C. 觀察停放在你左右兩邊的車子。如果有男性單獨坐在最近的鄰車內，最好回到購物中心或辦公室，找保全人員或警察陪你回去。寧願防患未然，也不要終生遺憾。 (大驚小怪總比喪命好 )

6. 永遠搭電梯，不要走樓梯。樓梯間是一個可怕的地方，容易讓人形單影隻，變成最好的犯罪場所)

7. 假如歹徒有槍而你並沒有受到他的控制，一定要跑！一百次中，只有四次歹徒會襲擊逃跑的目標；即使他攻擊你，大多不會是致命的部位，要跑!

8. 身為女性，我們總是發揮同情心：不要再這樣！這樣會增加被強暴或是殺害的機會。
