Further, whatever may be your goals, you have to induce positive attitudinal feeling to become a lucky person. Without the same, nothing is possible. Then, you have to target your goals in such a way so that you achieve the same steadily. The sense of well-being must be your ideal benchmark. You need not stretch yourself too far to reach any target. Your stretching beyond capability may altogether yield a negative output and put you in a mental stigma. A slow performer is not at all a bad one provided he has put efforts steadfastly. The famous story of hare and tortoise is known to all, and the same is a burning example that fastness means not extraordinary results all the time. How to become more receptive and keep a control over your mental and physical fastness? Some are always in a hurry to complete every state of affairs they face, and some others are mentally so fast that sitting in their chairs, they can solve any problem happening far away. The quality is laudable, but it produces desired results once or twice, not always. To have a control on your far stretchy inclination, you need to rely on the power of meditation. Carrying out this technique, you calm yourself which will save you from the dissipated energy. You can always get the power of energy when you are slow, receptive and you have a control over your thoughts, words, and actions. If you stroll, you gather speed. But from the beginning itself, if you walk fast, you will cross the small lane quickly, but by the time you reach the main road, you will be thoroughly exhausted. But going slow, you remain energetic without any feeling of exhaustion. The simple reason for saving energy is because of your following slowness. As it takes the time to accumulate power, the same is the case with its spending. The more power you acquire throughout the day, the more you will be cheerful. A happy mind is the abode of an energetic body means you are more proactive to produce the best results in your field of activities. The experts in any field follow this theory of "slow but steady only wins the race." As speed and energy have a bearing on the progress of our life, you also receive new momentum and grace of God which is slow. God likes and appreciates those people, who perform on a continuous basis. God acknowledges the people's honesty, sincerity, and dedication for the purpose of bestowing blessings for their success in various endeavors. It is a fact that without the divine power; it is impossible to climb stairs and reach the peak level of success. Further, when you are slow, you can record every bit of your activities being discharged by you very minutely, and you will not lose energy so fast means you will not be exhausted physically and mentally. Being slow means, you should not be the backbencher. It only says that you have to control your impulsive actions. Precisely that is the reason; some people when they return from their working remain remarkably fresh. Not only that, they even assist their family members to finish the household activities.

Many people don’t like to be slow at all. If any idea comes to their mind, they gear up fast to discharge the ideas into realities. Because of impulsive choices, the decision may not be that rational. It is an excellent characteristic attribute to convert any brilliant idea into a practical shape, but we find that eighty percent decisions taken out of impulsiveness do not bring the productivity as envisaged. For example, while roaming in a mall, you come across an electronic gadget which looks to be attractive and useful, but not required by you at that time and without giving any rational thoughts of the other aspects; you purchase only to repent afterward. It is merely an action of superfluous not giving much responsible thinking. Mostly it is based on calculated risk. Also, the impulsive actions are dangerous particularly when we are in a depressed mood. In this mental condition we eat more, we buy unnecessarily; we argue without any solid base, or only we want to ensure to finish any activity as fast as possible. To come out from this type of dark frame of mind, you need to be very receptive and be slow in all your activities at least for the time being to have a control on the overall situation. The actions taken out of impulsion and then showing repentance for the activities discharged eliminate energy. Then the positive frame of mind exhausts. All types of negative energies flock together in your mind which ultimately makes you angry, restless, unproductive, and you remain irritated mostly. You develop a habit of watching television more than which is required; you indulge excess eating to get rid of all these chaos, and finally become tired and sleep more. The result you put more weight and invite health hazard. Another concrete example is the game. If you consider slow and steady throughout the match, you will remain energetic for long, and guide the team enthusiastically to win the game. If you are slow and a bit receptive, you can calculate the other people’s strategy deeply.

The proverb says that one can beat opponents in their strategically move. If you are fast in your thoughts and actions, perhaps you will mistake the opponent’s movement. In the game of cricket, the slow blower always makes havoc in winning the match. That does not mean the fast bowler has any role, but the slow bowler is more efficient when the event takes a crucial stage. But some pundits opine that quick and the spontaneous actions are always the best, particularly in any artistic activity. But rapid response does not necessarily produce perfect expression in any art, poem, painting or any other creative activities. In art, one needs to be very careful to ensure a proper effect on the minds of the target audiences. Any actions taken based on impulsive behavior and with fastness may even destroy the career of an established artist. For a performer, he must be cautious in approach to reach any spontaneous decisions. Spontaneity is an act; you cannot mistake as an urge for the strategically thinking. In fact, you become more creative when you work slowly, consider carefully and perform steadily. Success will take its time to arrive. You're becoming fast does not guarantee you're achieving all milestones. Even it happens; it is not the case of every day. To create any artistic output correctly, you must embrace upon a contemplative mood so that creation becomes perfect. It not only touches your sense of accomplishing but also it creates an everlasting impression on everyone for whom you target the output. Taking any action only on the base of speed and exercising your spontaneity is a risky affair, and will spoil the beauty of artistic beauty.

Almost all the creators of artistic creations are great thinkers, rational performers, and support in believing of time versus output. Fast action is not the precursor of the entire production. One needs to be slow and steady and not to lose level of confidence to win any competition whether the same is related to social or professional.

Who says that Death is an enigma?

If you happen to read the holy sonnet no 10 of John Donne’s “Death, be not proud,” you will find that he has challenged the supreme power of mortality. He says death itself is dead. No one should be afraid of him. In fact, he narrates that why should we afraid of him, if we lead our lives ideally. In reality, of course, we are afraid of death considering the same as a monster. If we receive the news of the death of our family members, our neighbors or our friends, we get dejected, and not able to come out from the grief for a long time. In this way, we develop a perception and make a cynical inscription about death in our mind. But if we consider the sequence of death as a natural phenomenon, we will be in a position to adjust our thoughts. It is our culture to view death as a not that peaceful happening. Without debating the inner meaning of the holy sonnet of Donne, one can say that death is also a blissful sequence of life. One who is born has to die, and there is no alternative. But if you lead a meaningful life, you will take death as a part of life. The Buddhists meditate to seek the nature of death for three fundamental reasons. Firstly, it makes us conscious of the impermanence and shortens of life and makes our life purposeful. Secondly, contemplation about death makes us understand its realities. Through the deep level of understanding of this process, the phenomenon of mortality familiarizes us with dying and we become aware that our life is not immortal. Thirdly, contemplation of death provides us an opportunity that life has a limitation of age, and so it is precious. It then makes us realize that let us live fully. As per Buddhist monks, death is “the separation of the most subtle body and mind from the more gross aspects of the body.” As per them, one should not consider death as time, but it is a gradual process. A living person consists of gross and subtle mind and body. The definition of this body means the physical body, which consists of muscles, fat, and bones. The mind is all about thoughts as to how you control and utilize the same. It also includes feelings and mental stresses.

When death is soon approaching in life, the coarser mind stops and gives rise to subtle mind. Our mind is getting filled with vacuity. We become unconscious. Death happens when all our responsibilities are over. If you feel that you need to continue with your routine activities for more time on the earth, you can afresh concentrate on the being of yours, and do all the necessities. The physical sign of death, consciousness leaving your body are the cessation of heat from the chest, which is the region of the heart. Through exploitation of heart, you can identify conceptual idea of death and also develop a habit to apprise, whenever there is a new issue of development. When you are aware that the consciousness has left, then the body becomes an empty shell. The cycle of death is only over when soul ultimately leaves one aggregate of gross and subtle body and attaches another aggregate. We always talk about that the new being, which must be a person only. Depending upon the karmas, speech, task and accomplishment he has done at the time of death, he can take the physical entity after reborn as “Preta," or in some other forms. The Preta God could be a hungry ghost, Asura (a jealous God), and even a God himself. In Buddhism, if one commits suicide, he will be condemned for an extended period. Another reason for having committed suicide is full of negativities and frustration. Apparently, this phenomenon gets replaced in the next birth of the particular person. The process of reincarnation happens within a period of 30 days. The state of bliss at the time of death is important from a future point of view. Buddhism suggests not disturbing the dying person showing extra baggage of emotions. Such an appearance and attachment to the dying person may jeopardize his dying seriously. His soul may also be affected, who knows? Finally, there will be a change in the process of reincarnation. So; it is always advisable that you allow the person go peacefully.

If you lead your life following an ideal code of conduct and remembering God in all your endeavors with a religious fervor, you will never be afraid of death. In fact, many people work and maintain regular routines in their lives till the last day of life without bothering much that death will be a painful incident shortly for them. When the time comes, they only pray, chant some hymns may be in the lying position or tell the family members to make them hear religious songs, and in the midst of the same, finish their last breathing. There are even people who die without the knowledge of any of his family members in their sleep due to massive heart attack. Though it may not be a peaceful death, it is not that painful also. The individuals who are mostly afraid of death are those who have no in-depth idea of death at all. It is the end of the beautiful life, which God has kindly provided us, but we have not managed it rightly to the norms of ideal living. And in this process, we become gloomy whenever there is an incident of death, or we receive the information of end.of life.

The spirit of the Soul

When you die, your body is getting extinguished, but the soul leaves and enters another body. This soul is the unchanging spirit that encompasses all the human beings. Our body is like a cloth, which covers the soul, but this is the spirit for all your vibration means energy through which you perform all the actions being guided by that energy. This soul is like a lamp, which is shining within yourself and guides you to perform all the activities either good or bad. The soul is sheathed by three layers, namely mind, sense and flesh. The mind is the inner layer, whereas the senses are the middle layer and the flesh is the upper layer. When the mind and the senses are not aware of the energy (Bramha) within, people tend to become egoistic and ego then governs their all actions. Ultimately, they are being guided by ego.

Our soul is eternal and the body is mortal. Knowing this well, we become obsessed with the physical, material and sensual aspects of life. The more we show our attachment to our body, the more we become unhappy. If we wish to liberate ourselves in life, we must search our self and induce self-realization. Self-realization will make you not to feel that much obsessed with your body. If you delve into the psychological aspects, there are three states in the life of any human being. They are – the waking state, the sleeping state and the dreaming state. But a very few are aware of the fourth state, which is the intense concentration through which, if properly utilized, we can realize the true purpose of our life. Mostly, we are governed by our senses and on the periphery without going in depth. We are governed by our senses and we carry out our various functions as our mind guides us. What we eat, what we buy and when we will sleep and what we could do to impress our friend, neighbors and our colleagues are the factors, by which we are propelled daily. While performing all these activities, we seldom allot any time to think of our world within.

All of us have a centre of serenity, self-knowledge, and keenness to understand our ability and urge to keep peace almost all the time. When we are able to recognize this centre of utmost importance, we acquire an experience of true freedom and in this stage, we overcome tension, anxieties, all types of fear, inferior complex and despondency, which always haunt us in our life. We always hunch to have joy and fun. We can obtain the same provided we try for the same, but for that, we have to arouse our inner self. Once we are able to establish this fact, we can discover our own divinity. Then you can automatically get rid of the environment of gloomy, pathetic and despair and you will be considering yourself as the infinite spirit of pure, true and everlasting blissful human being. Today’s glamorous world is full of complexities and these environments cause stress and to keep you to avoid the same, you have to learn the consciousness reduction techniques.

The meditation de-clutters your mind, relieves you from negativities and energies your nervous system. It also increases your creativity, problem solving skills and makes you calmer. It guides you to embrace upon the path of harmonious living. It increases your powers of love, forgiveness and making you ideal human beings.

Meditation increases your mindful awareness. Through this awareness, you live in the present and enjoy the sequence of moment to moment living. It enables you to get the best of your life. It stops your restlessness and your approach for fragmented thinking. It improves your concentration power, focus and memory.

c) You must decide to serve others, help them to come out from distress. Ensure to do maximum benevolent work for others. You can extend your cooperation as much as possible and in as many as ways.

d) You must learn the value of acceptance. Without God’s blessings, you are not able to do anything though you feel that you have done. It is all His wishes, you only perform. By God’s will, you search peace and you get the same. Many things happen to us for which we are not aware. Even we are ignorant to identify the reason and so, believe in God and trust Him.

If you accept the above management, your soul will be purified and a purified soul is the container of a good mind and healthy body.

What is life and death as per Buddhism?

As per Buddhism, the sequence of life and its death is a process of transformation from one stage to another. Buddha said that all of us would pass away eventually as a part of the natural process of birth, old age, and death. As per the creed of the Buddhism, and the mythological stories related therein once a seeker inquired from a Zen Master, “What is going to happen after death?” The Zen Master replied, “I have no idea, rather I don’t know.” The seeker got surprised because Zen Master is mostly the people who possess enlighten the soul. Seeing the seeker’s surprising face, the Zen Master further said, “I am not the dead master.”

Life is enjoyable, but one has to enjoy within the ambit of the moral code of conduct. God has created this beautiful world to spread love and establish the brotherhood; one must help others in their distress and receive God’s light which is the blessings of Him. In the same way, death is also enjoyable, provided we live our lives as per the God’s wishes. Death is a matter of experience. One can have the feeling while dying, but once the death happens then, that experience cannot be shared with anyone. Either, it is a matter of bliss or gloomy. How we lead our lives, how we had given shape to our lives during our living and serve the fellow beings, all these facts matter much what type of death we have to face. Some people die peacefully in the midst of sleep for a sudden health problem, for example, due to heart failure. Some other faces so much, so difficulties for various socioeconomic constraints that they pray to God to take away their lives, and a few are so disturbed because of their chronic disease that ultimately they commit suicide.

To understand this conceptual subject, let us find out what is death? To simplify, when the life ends means one is dead. It is the cessation of life. At the same time, it is not so easy to answer what life is? Life is like a flow of the river. If you want to maintain cleanliness, you can do, means you can lead a balanced life full of fun and frolic and also pain and sufferings. But if you pollute the river with dirt, and you want to waste the precious moment of your life through engagement of frivolous and wasteful deeds and gossip, then you will be responsible for bringing a disastrous to your life. You have to consider the fact of life as the transient. It is a static curve which starts with your birth, and then you grow and reach boyhood, after that, adulthood and finally, old age grapples. At that stage of life, you may remain fit depending on your lifestyle. Or you may be afflicted with many diseases which may even cause your death. Even you are fit at old age, at some point in time; your life will end, means you will die. Buddha calls this as ‘Suchness of life.’ As per Buddhism, death is not the end of life. In fact, Buddhists believe that death is the end of the physical body. Why do we fear death? As long as you are greedy for name, fame, wealth, various types of assets, you will always be under anxiety whether you can receive these, accumulate and then utilize the same. The reason for the tension is that you are not able to fulfill your desires. The reason of fear is how quickly you can achieve the said milestone, and if you able to get how to manage, and how to keep the same under possession? The fear of death comes from the fear ceasing to exist and losing one’s identity with all types of said material comforts. Since we are so accustomed in being recognized based on our name, fame, and wealth in the societies, we are worried under the pretension that any moment we may lose all the said comforts.

Krishna propounds in Gita in a more philosophical style of professing that there is no death. Only forms change because no one dies. As per Him, this eternal truth is presented in Gita. Life is a process of continuous activities, and so death takes place millions of times in the elaborate and colorful journey of an eternal life. Death is just incidental. It happens in between. When we lose some of our beloved members, quite naturally, we become very aggrieved. Gradually, we learn to sedate and continue to live without him/her.

Though we miss them, and occasionally we remember them, we pray to Almighty to keep their souls in peace. But ultimately, death is a painful event. The question is, can we avoid death? No, you can only increase your longevity, but it is impossible to bypass death. As stated above, when someone is much near and dear to you, and if he dies, you will be morose, but the greater the element of sadness of grief and personal loss, the more one tends to feel sorrow for one.

As per Mahayana tradition, it is known as ‘death awareness.’ This tradition is used to arouse fundamental interest in compassion. It helps people to comprehend the impermanence of life. The said knowledge increases our courage and helps us to fight against the concept of death. No sooner, you start fearing death; it is but natural that you have not understood the phenomenon of mortality in right perspective. If you are in a position to view death from Buddha’s point of view, you can ascertain the fact that it is fundamentally faithful to support others when they are on the death bed. At that time, if you comfort them and impart consolation to them, there are many active reactionary forces ahead in your life. You must know that the life is impermanent, and everything is in transient though life is the long continuum. With these thoughts, you may lead a life of non-attachment. Then, the dying person can do “bid adieu,” with a lovable face to all his friends, peers, and superior colleagues. Seeing the miracle demeanor of the deceased person, you may question what is the beginning point? Most of the people will believe that time has come and one who is going, let him go and we should pray for his soul is in peace. But that sentiment is not correct. During the time of death, we must provide enough support to the person so that he can come out from the fear of death and accept the same with courage. As per Buddhism and the teachings of Buddha, “The time of death is a great opportunity for transformation for any sentient being that is aware while dying.

The spoken words are mightier than the weapon. You can ascertain this fact from your life also. We utter many words daily to our family members, friends, office colleagues, and acquaintances. Have we ever thought the power behind these words? Or do we take enough measures and analytical views before uttering words? Have we ever recognized the fact that words once were spoken and if it hurts or not producing the exact effect as desired what could be the consequences? There are many people exist in our societies which speak impromptu, and when they realize that their words backfire, they apologize or say ‘sorry,’ as if, they can use words as dim fit to be. It is like that you speak any words creating conflicts and then escape saying the above. Contrarily when you hear the words spoken by religious preachers, sages, prophets and spiritual masters we get enlightened, and their words act as a magic to purify our minds. Though the effect may be ephemeral, yet the intensity is very high. Their magical words make us choose the right path, and propel us in the right direction so that we follow the course of ideal living. The words uttered by these great souls have an electrifying effect, which removes our impurities and unwanted thoughts. Further, we will be inspired not to use words which hurt others. We all are aware of the wisdom of this truth of the power of words, but in our real lives, we fail to comply with its essentials. Instead of using words with a correct melody, we prefer to follow the path of destruction by using all wrong and improper words. Sometimes, our offensive and abusing words jeopardize the relationship so badly that we lose business dealings, trust, friendship and even cordial relationship with the spouses. The bad words cause restlessness and anxiety.
People who are seekers of truth don’t indulge these negative tendencies of uttering odd words. They are far above the narrow mindedness and they always focus on self-development and self-reform. They have no time to insult others using derogatory words. They always create a pleasant environment influencing others, and they distribute positive thoughts through their noble deeds and vocabulary. Words are critical provided you act with love, faith, devotion and feeling for others opinion and thoughts. That is why, you can identify the saints, sages, and spiritual masters very easily even in the crowd. They motivate people throwing words of spirits and motivation. Further, their actions are louder than words. Their words in themselves are adding additional moral values. For example, if you talk about humility, you need to practice the same. If we don’t show love to others, mere talking of loving nature is not sufficient. If we talk about lightheartedness, we have to show the same in reality. People will listen to your words, but they can easily understand your intention. If you say and you don’t do, you will be exposed soon. We must, therefore, have a watch on our words and exercise control. Through the lives of saints and sages, God provides us the direction how to lead a moral life. A stable life has no place to blame others. If you fail to achieve something, no one is responsible for the same. As human beings, there is a tendency not to accept responsibility, but to accuse others. If you like to become an established personality, you need to stop this accusation and using slanderous words. You need to ascertain the truth and remain steadfast in your goal. Many poets profess through their compositions that odd words spoken might have far-reaching consequences causing sufferings lasting for centuries. It is like a small stone thrown into a quiet pond, the ripples of which reach far and wide. A word can redeem, a word can hinder. But if you minutely observe the words of spiritual-minded people, and follow the same in your daily life, your status may not go upward immediately, but you can rest assure that the same will not be lowered. You can judge your real worth, not through your education, high profile in professional life or monetary power. The real recognition come through your humility, selflessness and using kind words. The humblest is the greatest virtue, and one needs to practice the same to become an ideal person. Then, he will get the blessings of divine love, which will help him to leave ego automatically. He detaches from the importance of “I” and gives value to “we.”
If you close your eyes, for a while, it looks to be dark until the time you open, but during this period, the sun does not lose its light. Similarly, your eye’s consciousness needs to be illuminated so that the same can radiate sun’s light even in your dark time. Both your inner eyes and outer eyes need to be enlightened. What does it mean? Your inner vision should yield outwardly. You have to translate your good intentions into good deeds and words. The word has a powerful equation, and we all have to understand the same. So, if you use sweet, smooth, friendly and lovable words, you will always remain happy and make others joyous.

The art of forgiveness

When you involve in a quarrel, a bitter relationship starts, and you or your opponent will find out an opportunity to humiliate each other. Unless it happens, both the parties will not keep quiet. Why is it so? Because we believe in taking revenge rather than follow the art of forgiveness. Like the art of living, it is also an art. The more you can show forgiveness, the more you will be recognized by all. In our daily lives, we face some bad experience, which is unavoidable. The two options are there when you meet bad experience. Don’t think much and completely ignore the incident. If you are not able to bury the bad experience, the intensity of the gloomily and unhappiness will increase. If you prolong the altercations, then you are in a mood to take revenge. On the contrary, if you ignore or show let go attitude, then you follow the art of forgiveness. As per spirituality, showing forgiveness is a better option.

Forgiveness saves you from unwanted distraction, not alluring you to involve in unproductive works and finally saves your precious times. Further, you will be able to ensure not to escalate the issue, which may otherwise develop extraordinary tension. This art is an instant solution to any boisterous situation. Contrarily, if you resort to the path of taking revenge, the problem will become complicated. Forgiveness may not give immediate solution sometimes, but you get enough time to think deeply on the issue of quarreling. During this period, who knows either you or your opponent may understand the situation thoroughly and bury the animosity through discussions? When this type of situation occurs, mostly people blame others. It is always advisable to examine one’s role in the whole state of affairs. For example, if you are gloomy, don’t focus on the other party. It is you, who are responsible for the situation. A famous proverb says, “If you laugh, the whole world will laugh with you, but if you weep, you have to shed tears alone.” You need to search out for a better option to come out from any impasse.

In our lives, we face two choices. One is anti-other thinking, and another is pro-self thinking. The anti-other thinking provokes you to the path of animosity. You will be in a mood to argue with others, to oppose any suggestion without analyzing the pros and cons of the issue, like to irritate others and not allowing others to finish their words, and finally, you descend to the brute level. The pro-self thinking makes you reach a higher realm, where your behavior will be very rational and less aggressive. The art of forgiveness is a full stop because thereafter you have to start afresh. But the attitude to take revenge will bring peril to you; otherwise, you cannot enjoy a quiet life. Further, forgiveness will increase the chance to reduce bitterness, if not eliminated entirely, whereas revenge will escalate the tension in a relationship. Forgiveness makes you think positively uninterruptedly while hate fosters ill feelings and negativities. And the negative thoughts will bring disharmony in your mental pattern. Many people believe that forgiveness is a characteristic trait for a weak person. It is advisable to take tit-for-tat approach. But this approach is not a solution to any problematic issue. Forgiveness closes any problem once for all, whereas tit-for-tat attitude aggravates and prolongs it. Some people think that forgiveness will provide an urge to continue with wrongdoings, but this thinking has no iota of truth. In the long run, forgiveness always wins the battle. In fact, history has also shown us this proposition. Psychology shows us that we are born with ego and a conscience. If you adopt the policy of tit-for-tat, it creates resentment and inflates other person’s ego, whereas if you follow the art of forgiveness, it will activate the other person’s conscience. It is an established hypothesis that in any controversial matter, the conscience always plays a decisive role. Forgiveness and revenge are two different moral cultures. One has to note that the getting the abundance resources of the environment is a great blessing of God to humanity. We must accept this fundamental issue. Since we have not created any of the natural resources of the environment; we should express a feeling of awe for them. The environment has its distinct value, and it does not depend on human beings for its existence. Of course, it on its own cannot make uplift of social, psychological and spiritual development of human mind, but it plays a supportive role, which one should not ignore at any cost. If you consider the role of environment that on its own, it cannot do anything, you may be correct on the face of it, but the economists term it as an ‘existence value.' Many rational thinkers abhor the concept of measuring the value of the environment in materialistic value or terms of satisfaction level because they opine that the environment plays a tremendous role in the backdrop of human beings sustainability. Further, environment also plays a vital role regarding social meaning, social relation, and commitments, the value of which is not too easy to quantify for measurement purpose.

The values stated above are of intrinsic nature; they don’t have any extrinsic value. The intrinsic value is closely related to our being. The human beings have a spiritual bondage with them. As per them, our physical desires are quite understood as when you become hungry; you require food and in the same way, when one is thirsty, he needs water.

So, these requirements are genuine and must be fulfilled. But unnatural, artificial and deceit needs are not at all true, and they are the developments of our unwanted desire to satiate our greed for possession. It goes on unceasingly, and we seldom can control these desires. Further, a natural desire is fulfilled or satisfied no sooner we get what we desire. For example, when you drink, your thirst goes off, and so your wish to get water is solved. Similarly, when you feel cold in the winter, no sooner you get a blanket or a quilt, your shivering gets stopped, and you feel comfortable. But man's appetite for more money, acquisition of more gold and possession of more movable assets are a never ending game. This game of possession of extra things leads our lives in disharmony disturbing the ecological balance of the environment. Why is it so? The reason our craving for more cars means we need to acquire more lands, to do the environmental clearance and finally to enhance the capacity of production. In one way, it creates more employment, but on the other hand, the environmental protection gets disarrayed. The craving goes on without an end because it does not proceed from an inclination implanted by nature. When you show new desire, your mind becomes imbalanced to fulfill your greediness. You then strive very hard to accomplish this feat employing the right or wrong technique. You forget that all things are interconnected. The destruction of one thing leads to the destruction of another thing. Therefore it is imperative to lead a modern life, but without degrading the beauty of the environment. The environment is our asset, and we must protect it for our benefit and survival.

Many times we hear that some people are not able to concentrate on any subject for a long time because of various external constraints. These limitations may be genuine also, but one is required to know the techniques how to increase the power of concentration for success in life. Buddha stressed on the development of morality, awareness, wisdom and equanimity. If there is any social, religious and personal dispute, you face, you have to silence using the power. Buddha always insisted for the middle path, and he advocated for staying in the present moment amidst universal sufferings without bothering much for the unknown and unknowable origin.

We all know that our sufferings are due to our lack of understanding of this mindfulness and not showing enough love. We face different types of challenges in life, and we combat relentlessly pervading sufferings caused by disease, aging, death and impermanence. We suffer because we are sloughed in the dark tunnel of ignorance and shackled by ego. Buddha was aware of this fact, and so he prescribed a step-by-step process of transformation. Life is painful despite the occasional, transient and apparent happiness. No sooner the hour of pleasure is over, we again become sad. Why? The reason is that we are not able to enlighten our body, mind, and soul. We live in the illusion that our lives are full of happiness. We seek peace in the midst of disturbing facts and absolute impermanence. When we utilize our intelligent and recognize this fact, we strive for the transcendental entity beyond the dualities of pains and pleasure. To bring in the concept of mindfulness and to love each other, Buddha prescribed the noble eight fold path; the constituents of the same are wisdom, morality, assimilation, and Samadhi. The road starts with seeking the right view of the reality behind the apparent. Through the good view, we must adopt the right intention to take the same as the principle of life. A good (right) plan or goal must be in front of you. We need to translate the good intentions into right actions through right speech, and right living-hood. Once these steps are in the place, you need to put real efforts to follow the path that consists of right mindfulness or observation of each of your actions in life carefully. Finally, right contemplation emancipates one from the unending misery of the sufferings and improper living. Buddha professed that morality is the backbone of an ideal life. And, morality follows the practice of mindfulness that starts contemplation of body-within-body, being mindful of breathing and the five elements in the body. It follows non-reactive awareness of feelings, mind, and mental qualities. Mindfulness consists of knowledge of the body, states of mind, intellect and feelings – pleasant, painful as the non-reactive and non-judgmental witness that eliminate stress level and revealing the truth. Through mindful meditation, you can increase the power of observation awareness.

It also inculcates a habit of extending a lovable relationship which cultivates empathetic awareness of all beings. Empathy is the route to share the emotions of others including their thoughts and feelings. The unconditional love is one of the precious assets that ultimately culminates in identification with all beings. While doing so, we accept their concerns, fears, anger, hopes, craving for desires of different types of our own. It ultimately influences our attitude and behavior towards them. The unconditional love has three different dimensions of experience. When we become aware of other’s happiness, we experience empathetic joy without showing any jealousy towards their successes. You must ensure to transform the sufferings of others into compassion with a sense of empathy, not pity. Finally, awareness of joy and suffering of others makes us introspect deeper to find out the equanimity. Buddhism says that morality, mindfulness, and unconditional love are the solutions to curb the pollutant minds of the people and their problems, and it increases the concentration power.

How do you define the intensity of your emotions? Is it a benchmark of your real identity? If you perform all your functions starting from wake up to retiring at night in an ideal and perfect way, you are a follower of rules and regulations of moral living. You are doing a showmanship. You may not want to laugh, but since the other person is a reputed one in the society and a quite influential man, you act and so, you smile. What you have done; you smile showing a good gesture. It has no real emotion. In another way, he has pampered you by smiling, and you are being cajoled to give a return smile.

If you analyze the issue carefully, you will find that it is a matter of exchange of pleasantry. He has expressed his positive vibe, which you have acknowledged in a controlled manner. You have judged his emotion and retorted back. Now, if you analyze your emotional effect in depth, your reciprocating action could be a bargain, trade, and a businesslike attitude or a mere social mannerism. Somebody smiles at you, and you have also done so. Mostly, it is an artificial smile, as if you are giving a smile for the sake of giving, and it will look like a fake performance. Without utilizing your emotional feeling, you smile. It is just an impromptu act at that particular moment. It has not created any sincere feeling for the other person. This type of emotion has no sincerity. It is entirely hollow as you have manipulated your smile. There is no authenticity on your part. In this way, you are shaping your body and mind, and you are also responsible for his manipulation. In our society, this type of manipulation is widely spread, and people simply are not able to identify the emotional depth of existence. Precisely, that is the reason, being religious also; we distract from the spiritualities and functions of the spiritualism. Quite often, we forget our spontaneity. We all become artificial. In this atmosphere, we create the situation of hell. Your love has no meaning because the same is impure. Your love is false. Your hate is wrong. Your smile is fake. Your feeling is wrong. Your tears are fake. You are not in a position to take any decision.

The question comes how can you stay in this false environment and enjoy happiness? Instead of living in artificial surroundings, accept the spontaneity, which comes from your heart. Coming back to the issue of smiling, it was not a sincere smile from your side. But this type of situation cannot be hidden for a long. Sooner or later, your pretension or non-spontaneity will come to the surface. But if you smile with spontaneity, you will feel that your whole being is smiling; only your lips are not taking part. When you resort to this path of inspiration, everybody around you during that particular time will glow, and there will be a feeling of friendly atmosphere all around. Since all the people around you will be happy; you will also be satisfied in the midst of so many happy people.

Even emotions need spontaneity. If positive emotions shown by you are false, they will be treated as a pretense. In the same way, when the negative emotions showed by you as authentic, the same will be termed as beautiful. People say anger is a destructive emotion. But this anger can be termed as nice if your whole beings feel angry. It means that you are not pretending to be mad. If you are infuriated, although it is a negative emotion, your all sensations will be vibrant and people will not take you as a bad tempered person. They may appreciate your negative emotion as you are showing spontaneity. For example, analyze the behavior of a child. He shouts to fulfill his any need and no sooner his need is satisfied, he stops his little bit unruly behavior. You observe his behavior, and you will find something wrong. When a child becomes angry, he runs from one corner to another, his face will be reddish, he may spit, and may throw anything he finds nearby. When his anger subsides, he starts again running, dancing, hugging you, as if nothing has happened. For an adult, it does not happen. The reason is, most of your actions are false and baseless. There is no spontaneity. If your anger is real, it lasts for a few seconds. Why? Because you are angry for a real cause and there is no false reason behind your anger. At that point of time, your showing anger is justified. And your anger will be harmless because it will not continue for long. If anything evolves with spontaneity, it cannot harm anyone. The negative emotions are also good if they are authentic. People have a wrong notion about negative emotions that these are bad and causing dangers both mentally and psychologically. It is bad provided the reason has no truth. But if the negative emotions are authentic, it may transform us.

If you carefully analyze the power of emotions, both positive and negative, you will find that feeling derived on genuine reasons will do well and will not destroy. All your feelings will become more and more confident and time will come when you are not affected either by positive or negative emotions. You cling to authentic. At that stage, you forget to discriminate between good and bad. You are not bothered what is positive and what is negative? This feeling of authenticity will strengthen your introspection power to search only for the real. And, you have to know the truth. Then, emotions will not mold you; you will mold the emotions as there is no feeling of positive or negative for you.

Today's world is full of opportunities as well as constraints. It is not that easy to convert opportunities into realities, and at the same time, it is not that hard to overcome all the limitations. We face tremendous challenges in both ways. You throw this question to a philosopher. He will introspect for a while and will term it as a problem of evil. But this ideation is wrong. If you accept the definition of the philosopher, then it means you are giving a negative name to an active effort. He has freedom. The difference between these two entities is the problematic trouble makers. There is no restriction on self-development in the material world, where man is born with vast potential. This potential is a very dominant factor, and you can utilize in difficult circumstances. It is a fact that the people who love to take challenges, whenever challenges appear, they don’t flee away, but fight mentally with all courage; they are real victorious. Our society admires them and worships them as heroes even though they belong to a general class. If one is terming these types of situations as evil, then he has lacked the understanding of the law of nature.

There is nothing wrong to keep busy in these types of thoughts. When you train your mind to think of the above things continuously, your mind will be tuned to think accordingly. It is known as objective consciousness. Space conscious means when you come out from your body and form, and you think for being i.e. your focus is only on inner self-consciousness without any attention on the mundane and worldly affairs. Most of the time, we are completely ignorant of this space consciousness. Once you can understand the concept of this high-level thought, you can absorb in the idea of Universal consciousness even after performing your regular duties efficiently. Not only you can do, but you can also do more beatifically. To become a devotee or follower of Brahman or universal consciousness, you need not become a monk or sage and to remain confined in a secluded place or in a dark forest to avoid any noise and disturbance. To follow the path of divinity, you can very well stay in a family, do discharge all your family responsibilities, but behave rightly and appropriately with every manifestation of Brahman universally. What is meant by proper behavior? When there is no anger, no outburst, no jealousy, and neither attraction nor aversion, is termed as appropriate behavior in the eyes of Creator who creates this total universe. Doing all your duties, if you can become non-attachment, non-judgment and non-resistant, you will be able to connect with divine power. Then you will be able to identify yourself.

We live in a vast and limitless ocean of essence. A roaming wave dances down, and provides the radiant of manifestation surging within and without you, and radiating in all ten directions. These ten routes are the indescribable vibrational expressions of small and great accented and unaccented, eternally flowing thoughts-waves. You must behave appropriately and reasonably with every expression, with every manifestation of the cosmic mind. You always have to remember and accept the vibrational events. You have to train yourself like a lily flower. It is always immersed in the mud, it is not a great flower like the rose, and it is mostly getting trampled by the foot of the human beings or the animals. So, it always struggles to keep its existence. For this, it is to parry, brace and tolerate the shocks of storms and other squalls. But observe the beauty of this flower. Despite tolerating various vicissitudes of fortunes, it does not forget the moon. It keeps its love for this planet alive. This sapling does not want anything because it knows that it has no separate identity. Though Lily is an animated object, it has life, and so the flower acts through the totality. In this connection, we must recollect the preaching of Jesus, “Look at the lilies of the field.” He also said, “They toil not, neither do they spin." The primary inference of this eternal truth that life wants the sapling to become a tree, but the sapling has no wish to be identified as separate from life. So, the flower wants nothing for itself. It identifies what the life wants. Precisely, for this reason, the lily has no stress or anxiety. When it dies prematurely, it dies with ease. It has no regret during the time of death. Naturally, it surrenders in death as it does in life. It senses no matter how obscurely, its root dress in being i.e. state of consciousness, the formless and eternal one life. Though metaphorically, lily’s life is compared to that of humankind, it is correct in reality. Lily is an ordinary flower, but its romantic relationship with the moon is unparalleled. It focuses on its attention on the planet. Can we not establish the same romantic relationship with our Creator? Even you have to pass your days with tremendous ups and downs on a regular basis; we must remember Supreme one. You have to keep merged yourself in his thought. For that, you must visit deep into the mood of that infinite love. If you feel, for all these, you have to sacrifice your worldly activities, you are wrong.

Whatever may be the circumstances you face in life, you should not lose sight of the infinite one. You will not suffer degradation if you accept the Supreme Being as an ideal mechanism in life. When you indulge in thinking in a negative way, you will pollute your mind. You will also generate the low level of vibrations and for that; you have to take rebirth to suffer low-grade rituals created by those vibrations. So, you need to arouse higher versions of thoughts in your mind. As for mythological edification, even a king like Bharath would have to take birth, because, at the time of death, he was deeply anxious about a fawn. Precisely, that is the reason, forget your outer self. The same is only the forms. There is no being involved, and so you will not be able to meditate properly. Whatever position or post you acquire today or are going to receive in future, you should not bulge down from the path of idealism related to proper living.

Do not stray even a step away from the path of realism of absolute bliss under any circumstances. The route of enlightenment after you understand the importance of inner and outer purpose of life is the only path for you. Whatever be the consequence of your past mistakes, evil deeds and committal of unnecessary accomplishment, your uplift is guaranteed. If you have the unconquering zeal to attain Brahman, you can never be degraded. Do not look back; always look forward to phenomenal progress. Never take a decision to take any limited material for your factory of mind. Accept only the loftiest entity for your accomplishment. If your love and affectionate for Him is genuine, you will ever remain; you will stay in exuberance. If your love for God is real and if it is reconciled spiritually, you will always put yourself in an Elysian exuberance. You won’t feel any pain and happiness as both will not sensitize you anymore. When you think of Him, when you show steadfast love and gratitude to Him like a lily, the same is known as the blissful emergence of Divine love. Can you ignore this phase, and if so, why not to train your mind like a lily?

The one important fact in life is not to create misunderstanding in a relationship as far as possible. Even you want to break a relationship with anyone, ensure that the split is pleasurable. Because who knows when you need that person again to help you in your distress. The relationship can be with people or with things. We provide passionate affection to the objects, comforts, and pleasures at the expenses of relationship. We show our busyness despite knowing the fact that the other person may get hurt with your behavior and relationship may turn to a trace of bitterness. Nowadays, there is a standard sentence being often heard, “I am extremely busy and don’t disturb me.” The other person can easily catch your pretense because he knows that you are not at all busy.

We don’t give much importance to the fact of being a good parent, sibling or partner. You have no choice to say that I need a wife, but not the mother-in-law. It is not feasible. Even otherwise, mother-in-law may not be there, but you cannot disown the relationship once you decide to marry her daughter. We have enough time to send thousands of e-mails, but we have no time to pay respect to our elders and meet them even occasionally. In a society, we have many roles to play. How can you bring harmony in a relationship? If you want to make your relationship cordial, you must see the peace within yourself first. If you grapple with unwanted issues which are agitating you, then how do you expect harmonious relationships with others? While interacting with others, if you have less feeling for a friendly relationship, then the same will be reflected in your behavior, and you won’t be in a position for an amicable conversation.

How to achieve internal harmony? The inner balance is related to four different layers of our personality, which are physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. All these different aspects have their identifications. If any of the need out of all these aspects is satisfied, then there will be harmony for that particular issue at that point. How to satisfy these requirements? Our primary need for foods, clothes and shelters are important in our lives, and so is the case with the mutual relationship. You will be physically fit if you take care of these needs. At the emotional level, if you get enough love from others and if you reciprocate in turn, then your emotional health is nourished. There will be no imbalance on this account. At the intellectual level, we all need to have a good inflow of positive thoughts. As much as possible, the negative thoughts must be discarded. All intelligent people survive on good ideas. For example, when you are hungry and if you don’t get nourishing food, you will eat whatever is available, and that is how people are accustomed to eating junk food. That time, you won’t see whether the food is healthy or not. In the same way, intellects when do not get positive thoughts, they allow surviving on negative thoughts. It is one of the greatest problems of human beings; that is intellectual frustration. Many times, people get intellectually frustrated because they choose wrong professions. They select these with a hope that the same has a lot of potentialities.

Arouse spiritually of personality: If you want to have a harmonious relationship with the other persons, and want to continue the same for a long time, you must arouse your spiritual affinity with other individuals. Only bonding socially and professionally, the desired result will not be there.

There comes a stage in our lives when we are clouded in despondency at least mentally despite owning all successes including material abundance. Then we begin to ponder about the veracity of the accumulation of the wealth and achievement, and at the end when there is no foolproof answer, we become restless. We try to seek the real meaning of life. Then we become eager to find out the truth why God created this ambiguity in this world? How can I be happy? Why there is so much distress in the world? If you are unable to get proper replies to all these questions, then you feel frustrated, and your life will be slowly heading to dullness and meaningless. At that time, the company of religious and like-minded people will make you find the meaning of life. It provides answers to your queries and also allows you to lead a life of excellence. But mostly, we overlook this vital relationship of harmony. If you like to harmonize yourself in all these layers of personality, you have a bright chance of living in harmony with those, who are firmly attached to you. If you express thanks to anyone you come in touch when they help you to discharge your professional and social responsibilities, how do you feel? You will enjoy a solace, and this mental satisfaction will make your life colorful. Because when the other person receives appreciation from you, he also feels happy and gets energized to help you more. Of course, you also have to extend cooperation whenever he needs. Let me narrate a story. God once decides to send two angels to earth to listen to the prayers of human beings. God divides the responsibilities of these two angels. One was asked to collect the information regarding individual's prayers for asking something from God. The other angel was advised to receive prayers of gratitude and thanksgiving. Then God provides two baskets to both the angels to collect prayers and thanksgiving. God was interested in assessing the percentage of human's devotion to him. The angels visited earth and started to receive prayers. The first angel’s basket immediately got full with the prayers asking something from God. And he was continuously busy to accept prayers. He found people asked and prayed to God for money, health, education, house and overall prosperity of life. Some even asked for costly jewelry, exotic holidays, expensive clothes and latest gadgets. In the meantime, the second angel moved place after place and got tired, hungry and thirsty. After consuming fruits and water, he became active and started looking for people, who were praying to God to receive His gratitude. The first angel’s basket got filled up, he called for an additional basket, and after a while, he collected truckload prayers. Unfortunately, the second angel could manage to gather a few people who pray for thanksgiving and gratitude. Both the angels went back to apprise God and their findings. God did not show any emotion only to say, “I know this, I am not at all surprised. People pray in turn to receive something from me.” God again told, “You now have a taste of what it is like being God.” People who pray for something from me at least remember me. On the other hand, the numbers of individuals are less who prays for thanksgiving and gratitude. To verify the scenario, God then opened the mailbox to check the e-mails. The mailbox was full of various complaints of people who are complaining about not receiving favor from God. The different kinds of desires, wishes, and requirement of prosperity, wealth, name and fame are some of the prayers requested for from the God. He was surprised to receive various complaints from people. God then checked the handful of emails who expressed thanksgiving and gratitude in their prayer. The number of emails was very less. What you gain from this story and how it is related to the headline of this article? There is a close relation because this story and human's nature and their greed. People often request others in offices, factories, houses, social clubs, public places to extend help, but when people ask some help from you, there is no enthusiasm. In the same way, we want God must assist us and hear all grievances and provide us whatever we desire, but how many of us think of God without asking for anything? And, how many of us take the time to thank God? We focus our total attention on the fact what God has not given us. We forget to acknowledge what God has given us. Supposed, you have to express thanks and gratitude to God for the things God has given, you will find God has given you more than what you are supposed to receive. If you count many things for which you owe your gratitude to God, it will be evident that you get more and give less.

For the existence of God, we feel that whenever we pass through a casual manner, receive material things and stay in comfort; God is there and what is the need of praying and expressing thanks and gratitude to God? For example, you work in a company, and you are very satisfied with your job. After a period of twenty-five years, you are suddenly laid off, and then you soliloquy, “God is not there.” In the same way, we may have had a loving family for years, but one member passes away, we accuse God saying he is not favoring, and showering any blessings. You may have the healthy body for many years, but one major disease grapples you, and you may be telling that “Oh! God, what is happening to me, and there is no God.” Few people only say when something goes wrong, “It is okay God. I have been something that was best for me, under your will.”

Let us thank God profusely for each day because based on His grace and blessings; we can counter many negative forces ultimately reaching our target. Another thing, due to God’s blessings, we can do our work and enjoy our family and friends. For the sake of our health, we may be grateful when we have some ailments. There is nothing wrong if sometimes disease attracts our body and mind. We must show our happiness for all the gifts we have received not only on the physical, emotional and intellectual level but also on the spiritual level considering the same as gifts of God. We should also connect with the Divine. We must spend time through prayers and meditation and in performing selfless services to others. Through this route, we can express our gratitude to God just not by expressing through words, but also through our deed.

We live in the age of information. Most of the available things are now scientifically proven, and you can find out everything on the internet. You have to search and find out the clues for your requirement. In one hand, this world of today is highly advanced technology wise and at the contrary, people are desperate to brag for their resources about their education, knowledge, wealth and status. They are very much fond of getting adulated, and want that everyone will listen whenever they talk; despite the same is beneficiary for them or not. By any chance, if no one gives adequate attention to their bragging, they get very upset. Whenever anyone is suffering from this syndrome “listen to me, I am talking” and show an attitude of annoyance, he may be happy and joyful. But is it a real one? Why people brag to prove their greatness? The reason, they suffer from inferiority complex and to come out from this social impasse, they like to dominate people, which include spouse, siblings, friends, colleagues and sometimes, parents also. By pretending and showing their happiness through the path of bragging, they would like to be in the social limelight.

As per the latest information appeared in the Journal of Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, the researchers conclude that based on the two parts of the brain, namely medical prefrontal cortex and ventral Striatum, the scientists find out an answer to this difficult matter of bragging. The prefrontal cortex is responsible for self-referential thinking, whereas the ventral striatum portion is in charge of the good feeling factor. The scientific data shows that people, who prefer to brag and love themselves only without bothering much for others welfare and feelings, and they have reduced connectivity between these two regions of the brain. They are obsessed with themselves very much, but internally they don’t feel good. Precisely that is the reason; they brag and want people to admire them to their heart’s content. Up to a certain point, all of us accept that ego is our true self. But if you resort to the practice of meditation, you will be able to connect yourself with the divinity and can realize that ego is nothing but an illusory shadow influencing your mind. Our entity in the form of our bodies is a part of universal consciousness. Due to our very much sensitiveness to the idea for creating identification with our bodies, we only forget our true nature, the real purpose of our lives, what we must take from our lives and how we should behave. When we remember these important identities, we move from one illusion to other and without achieving any tangible results. We pretend that we have a tremendous accomplishment. Then we start bragging till the time we become contended entirely. Because of our wrong perception for our mind and body unison, we develop an ego, which is fearful, greedy and full of anxieties. All the psychological and emotional disturbances evolve from ego. We then brag to show our superiority. We plan to subdued ego just not to increase our bragging power. In this process, whatever difficulties arise we try to solve the same by strengthening ego by default. To become happy, we should never brag, and then we will be in a position to control ego. We must dissolve ego by doing meditation. When you do the meditation for a considerable period, you come out from the dark side of your life, and you get in touch with universal consciousness, which is the real purpose of living.

The research in neuroscience has established this fact that the positive effect of meditation is enormous, and it not only purifies your body and soul but also reduces your ego and tendency of bragging. The meditation decreases the signal in the areas of the brain close to the midline. These areas include an anterior insular, the left ventral and the anterior cingulated cortex, the right medial pre-frontal cortex and the bilateral precuneus.

When the signal decreases, it indicates that someone is making real progress in the practice of meditation. At that stage, people won’t brag, and they would not like to exaggerate their achievement. The meditation soothes the areas of the brain associated with ego and makes us brag what ultimately help to connect to the absolute consciousness. Bliss will be in abundance in our life when we do not think to brag, and we dismantle our ego. But our affinity with the ego is so high that we may fear to lose our identities. This massive ego provokes us to brag and snatch our bliss. If you can somehow get rid of this ego, you will not lose anything. Contrarily, you will gain as you will be able to connect to absolute consciousness. So, shedding the ego is an important aspect of life, which will make your mind sedate, calm and tranquil. Then you will not think to brag at all. You will enjoy the every moment of your life blissfully.

What I mean to explain is that for seeing with perfection and hearing attentively, you need to silence your mind. For example, the two persons are exchanging pleasantries and talks, if one is not silent, then the meaningful encoding and decoding the messages are ruled out. That is why, many important meetings, discussions, and debates remain inconclusive wasting time and energy. If you want to know the technique how to silence your mind, you need to practice and increase the power of listening. The act of listening to something is a fact where you are not giving judgment, opinion, and observation. Though it is tough, it needs to be learned for a successful career and social life. Speaking without condemnation, without any interference of the word and without shouting to establish your point of concern is arduous. It requires complete focus. It is the case with the activity of seeing. We all love nature’s beauty, and love our family members, but have we ever seen minutely a tree, a mountain, a flower, the face of our spouses, of our children or a co-passenger either in the train or flight? When you see anything with full attention, there should not be any words, ideas formulas or any interference of words.

You appreciate the beauty of a mountain which is touching sky metaphorically and say, “What a lovely mountain!” That utterance distracts your attention from your intense looking the mountain. Of course, it is a psychological aspect, but this is fact. If you want to see something with minute attention, you must silence your mind; means it should be quiet without any interference of words. The next time, when you see a beautiful rose flower, notice how difficult it is to be to look the flower non-botanically. If you know a bit of this particular flower, namely rose, it will be tough for you to observe the flower non-botanically, and it is more so if you have experience of botany. You know the species, you see all the varieties of flower, and to look at it without any interference of the word, without the intrusion of your knowledge, of your opinion and criticism is again next to impossible. The mind is continuously provoking you to think whether the same is meaningful or not. People often say that they believe this or they believe that, but it is not correct, it is a matter of happening. Your mind propels all the time and forces you to move in a direction right or wrong. The power of your mind is guiding you.

Your mind is always busy and continuously shuttling between one thought to other. Most of these ideas are of no meaning, it is always restless, chatting, never seeing or never listening. But if you can silence your mind, it becomes quiet to hear and to see with attention. No effort is required then. In that state, if you listen to others minutely, you will understand the inner meaning very easily. The psychological revolution plays an important role to silence your mind. What is meant by this revolution? It is important to complete transformation, not only of the conscious mind but also of the unconscious as well. Through your mind power, you can change the outside environment, which causes an influence on your transformation. Without showing any affinity towards any religion, you can leave a temple to visit a church and may be again visiting the temple. You may not cling to any political or religious group. You can remain neutral. Also, you can be biased for any particular religion because of your fear, greater reward, and power. One can quickly change his waiver mind, but it's hard to make a change in the unconscious. It is one of the major constraints in life to calm your thoughts. You will not be able to change unconscious through volition, through desire, and through a will.

From our childhood, our parents teach us to obey, conform and to follow established norms and regulations. In our adult age, we take these teachings as embedded experience. Based on this experience, we seldom deviate from the set rules. Their teachings influence our mind, and we are provoked to think accordingly. In this process, we disturb our thought process, and so the mind mostly remains agitated. You find it tough to silence your mind. So, you need to come out of this authoritative clutch. How can you do so? How far your mind is getting influenced by the authority and the experiences thereof? The authentic teachings may sometimes create negative output. This negative thinking implies the uncovering of one’s own assertive, dogmatic beliefs and experiences, one’s fears, anxieties, and hopes. What is the implied connotation? That you see all these things with a negative feeling, and you don’t have any control to change because you are in a dilemma to choose between the teachings of the past and your conviction. So, merely you observe the same without evaluation. When you observe without evaluation, you find the happenings without the interference of words. Words mostly condition us. We identify persons either as a doctor, lawyer, judge or as a communist, as a socialist or an American or a Swiss. Using these identifications, through words, we look and listen, but we never see, and we never hear. So, if you want to hear, get rid of the slavery of words.

I hear people say many times that one should always be ambitious for a significant achievement, and think big endlessly to become highly successful either in professional or social life. There is nothing wrong to practice this logic, but if you only think big, and your action for any activity is small, then ratio of success to the effort will yield almost an insignificant growth. We all face various types of impediments in life. At the individual level, the problem could be related to health, emotions, and disharmony in marriage, family, friends, and rivalry between siblings, children, and career. At a national level, beyond the boundary of the individual, there are problems of diversified religious opinions, social unrest, unemployment, dishonesty, and corruption. All these negative influences cause us to suffer pain, and the same increases the anxiety, and ultimately, we are not able to relieve our tensions, and it creates a negative effect on our health.

The negative thoughts prompt us to observe a defective vision of the world and not so soothing relationship with it. What is the outcome of this? We expect more and more, most of which are the meaningless expectation or we will not be able to realize. Ultimately, we suffer and disappointment grapples us. If we can improve our thought process, we can mend our home and can convert this world into a better place to live. But people prefer to accept pain rather than thinking in a right direction. They get caught up in the mesh of wrong thinking and see various dreams wearing colorful spectacles mentally. Ultimately, we are enlaced with all types of negative and evil thoughts making our lives less efficient. It also reflects our mean-minded nature causing despair. The only solution is, you need to think big and act wisely and show results. The parents must inculcate the habit to teach their children to think rightly. In the future, they will learn the importance of this teaching, and it will provide them a greater vision of life. One needs to remove all the barriers only to think big.

We must eliminate the obstacles of pettiness. You can sow the idea of big thinking first in your mind destroying all fears. Once you can do so, you will automatically get energized to conceive them in your mind. When we yet to invented the flying machine, the man dared to think to travel on a flight, the bird and other flying insects used to fly at their heart's content. Before reaching the moon, the man dared to think to undertake the same type of venture. Finally, the not only man arrived there but also proved that the humanity may start living there. If you think big, you can achieve impossible thing also. We are afraid to think big because our mind cripples us with all types of anxieties. One needs to break this bondage of small and limiting thought. You cannot think big unless you remove this bondage. What lesson you get from this? You must think not only as an individual but as a nation as well. For example, when Swami Chinmayananda learned the scriptures from his teacher, he thought all the while how he could pass the same to the people. It is known as thinking big. Swami Vivekananda used to spend restless nights in America thinking of the welfare of India and the world. Once you understand the importance of thinking big, then you act wisely to translate this big thinking into reality. You have to work hard to fulfill your dreams in line with your big thinking. The most famous person Gurudev said, "Plan out your work, and work out your plan." To act wisely is to operate with prudence, proper understanding, and balanced attitude. Reinhold Niebuhr says, "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference." For example, the famous King of Ramayana Ram accepted the self-chosen exile in the forest for 14 years as he felt it was a call of Dharma; but when Ravana kidnapped his wife his wife Sita, Ram gathered a fleet of an army and fought gallantly to rescue Sita. Without losing temperament, Ram acted efficiently to show results. It is applicable for all of us.

The actualization of Mother Nature with oneness is only possible when you can self-realize with your higher self, and you are sensitive to others feelings of need. Always ask who the doer is; the perceptive mind or the self. Life is very hard; it is not a choice. If you struggle to the last penny, you will overcome all your obstacles. In short, what you sow, you reap the same. You may live with desires and dream all that you want; however, your actions determine what and how much you may receive. All a spiritual leader has to do to inspire others to fulfill their dreams. If people have a shortfall, the leaders need to inspire. He needs to go through himself for others to follow. I am not talking about the political or self-proclaimed leaders. They cannot inspire, and show you the path of light, which is only the the trump card of your success in life.

Creativity and meditation are similar, as both are the expressions of something beyond perceptive thought. Success is alone not a product of thinking. It needs alignment with your sub-conscious. To create such conditions, you need to rely on your belief and have to overcome your false ego and self. You need to control your mind, and your thoughts. Then, you will be able to comprehend the duality of your mind to identify what is right, and what is wrong which you need for your inspiration. At that state, you will be in mental peace, and you will be not only able to inspire you, but also others surrounding you.That itself will bring success for you both professionally and spiritually.

Your thought is a supreme energy to translate all your feelings into emotions, reasoning and logical explanations to get inspired in the right direction. Advaita`s philosophy of declaring that everything is but the manifestation of one, which is propounded today by science that the whole grid of the universe ultimately blends into one.

Do whatever you do, from eating fast food to living with mobile phones or follow a modern lifestyle, but question what all the motives behind all your doings are? Don’t forget; we are all children of God, and He does not make any discrimination. It is the society who pollutes our mind and soul by providing wrong inspirations, and we forget to differentiate between right and wrong. So repeatedly introspect and question the way you perform, act and do. Do not take this world as a stage just to perform your life drama as per the external influence. Sometimes, you will feel boredom of this life’s drama. Then, pause, look and see before doing. Because there are many who would want, you should blindly follow what they do. You cannot follow anybody blindly not even your religious or spiritual leader. You develop enough trust and respect for his leadership to get inspired. For that, you need to seek knowledge about yourself or its purpose. Do not ignore the spiritual for worldly aspects. We are born to exist as mortals; for the Self resides in immortality. Live from one moment to the next, be aware and present in the now. The past, present and future are all manifested in the Self. All three energies, namely material, mental and sleep are combined to become one. Creativity is an accumulated knowledge, coming from the past to present. The stage of creation is a spontaneous flash of awareness.

Intelligence when clubbed with energy manifests with the mind, and create a new beginning. Creativity and meditation are similar, as both are expressions of something beyond thought. YOU or I am just a representation of your thought. Inspiration is when you will be able to awaken your inner self. You evolve into a certain belief, which is very personal; Where self-becomes intimately connected to beyond self. Then you create the action; however, if you confuse and cloud the action what the results are going to be; creativity gets lost, and actions turn mechanic.

With this power, which arises from the higher self, if you get inspiration, you will lead a moral and religious life in this world, and look forward to another religious life in the real world, which is the world people reach after death. Over there, they may stay as the angel of light provided they have completed their lives peacefully and religiously in this world; otherwise, they will be compelled to come back as a part of reincarnation, and then again suffer pain, of course with an occasional enjoyment. So in this birth get inspired, and inspire others to follow the benchmark of ideal living besmeared with the thoughts of spirituality to get success in this life, and the lives to come.

In our daily lives, a quarrel to the varying degrees is inevitable. Whatever the status-quo level you do have in the society, some people will like your demeanor and some others will mostly oppose you. Now, you will have no to issue to with people or nominated groups, who has a liking for you. Contrarily, there is always a possibility of your getting involvement into an argument with the people with whom you are not that friendly. In this type of situation, you would have two options. First, you ignore the issue even you are right, and forgive to stop arguments instantly. Second, you try for some alternative measures to establish your opinion forcibly. In the first option, you are showing magnanimity by forgiving another person. The second one is the path, which tantamount to take revenge. Though this path is disastrous from the view of congeniality, but today, a majority section believes in this measure. Which is the better option? You need to decide depending on the circumstances and the intensity of the situation. Destroying the mental peace of everybody, if you resort to take revenge, it may hurt the other party so badly that he will avoid you. To my mind, pardoning someone even he has inflicted any types of mental harassment; you will be a in the eyes of God and many other religious minded people. Forgiveness is the greatest quality, which God has bestowed upon us. You must utilize such a quality given by God whenever you get a chance. Further, forgiveness saves you from unworthy distractions, saves your precious times, and finally saves you from creating many unnecessary problems. Forgiveness is an ideal solution to any problem. You have to know the right technique and the appropriate time to utilize this method. If you get involved in taking revenge, the problem will aggravate, and ultimately the results will be a big zero.

By forgiving someone, you can not only buy the peace, but also the other party may become a good friend of yours. After all, who can ignore the magnanimity of forgiveness? Contrarily, revenge will only waste time making the relationship stale and unhealthy. In any quarrelsome and boisterous situation, people will always finger you for the predicament without knowing that this type of strategical measure in pointing finger is a wrong precedence. It is always wise to let you examine your role in this type of conflict of the clash. If you are sad because of any reason, which is known to you only, then does not blame others. One has to ascertain the fact before arriving at a conclusion. You should never focus on the other party. Rather than this attitude, you must focus on your ability how to solve the problem amicably so that both the parties remain with an eye to eye contact and consider each other as their most reliable friends. Most of the time, in our glamorous lifestyle, we face two types of choices, they are, “anti-other thinking and pro-self thinking.” Anti-other thinking will make you little brash and stubborn, whereas pro-self thinking is always responsible for your elevation to a higher plane. If forgiveness is a full stop, revenge is a semi-colon. You can kill any unwanted situation by forgiving others, whereas revenge means endlessly extending it. Forgiveness increases your power of positive thinking uninterruptedly. Revenge fosters negativity, and negative thinking can lead to all kinds of evil actions. You may argue that forgiveness may not always bring a proper result, and the opponent may construe and take you as a weak person, and to avoid this, one must adopt the principle of tit-for-tat. But tit-for- tat is a rebellion type of attitude, which aggravates the situation. Further, it will create a chain of unproductive and unpleasant reactions. Forgiveness removes the problem from its source once for all.

A school of thought says that whoever forgives others for their wrong doings ultimately allures them to do more said types of activities. But it is not correct. The psychological research has established this fact that everyone is born with an ego and conscience. So, if you take the root of tit-for-tat, it will provoke the other party’s ego. But if you follow the path of forgiveness, it will activate other party’s conscience. In any controversy, the conscience always plays a positive role. One must know that forgiveness and revenge are two types of moral culture for establishing a relationship between each other. It is up to you what type of relationship you want to have with others. The culture of forgiveness helps in building of a better society. If you establish a better culture of positivity in the society, it will develop more transparency. All the dispersed groups will integrate, the right spirit will emerge, and animosity will be decreased making the society a utopian environment. The outcome of vengeance will be just opposite. A revenge culture will pollute the environment, and it will increase the culture of mistrust. In this type of environment, everyone will decide to fight with others, sometimes endlessly. In this way, the healthy society will be known as mistrust society. Today or tomorrow, you and me are supposed to do some wrong doings, and that is why, there is a proverb, “To err is human.” So, taking revenge means not only committing one mistake, but committing the same again and again. Remember, forgiveness provides us a lesson of doing wrongs with rights. If “to err is human,” then forgive is even more human. Because it increases your perseverance, patience and makes you cool most of the time. One you reach this stage in life, you will then forgive and forget whatever may be issue.

Arouse your inner power to be happy

If somebody questions you whether you are happy in your life, you will be little puzzled to reply, if you are not happy. After some time, you will like to know from him,” how can I be happy?” If you have the slightest idea of this subject, no one can reply in an affirmative tone. Further, if someone asks you that do you have the power to create happiness? Again, your answer will be wish-washy. What one thing we all have that if we choose to be happy, and remain firm to be happy come whatsoever it may be, needless to say, we will be happy, and it is not only my conviction but belief. But in reality, it does not happen easily; the reason is simple that we don’t want to arouse the inner power to ensure our happiness. You cannot create happiness, but you can be happy even in your distress provided you have that much willpower. We all want to be happy underneath the pursuit of pleasures, wealth and powers. Then, why we become gloomy most of the time as if we have to wait to be happy. Metaphorically, it seems that happiness is to knock the door to make an entry in our life. Our mind always plays on duality. This duality only creates conflicts, anxieties, apprehensions, and we provoke our mind to think on the negativity. Based on these negativity, we make a distance from our happiness and instead of choosing to be happy; we simply do the opposite forcing happiness to leave us.

The feeling of worldly happiness is like a desert mirage, and when we try to be nearer, it disappears. It is not advisable to search happiness from outside because external environment though has a bearing on you, but it is you, who has to decide to be happy or not. People, who are believers of perpetual happiness, search the same wholeheartedly within their inner-self. We get the blessings of God, and can recognize the true joy within ourselves only. We must have enough courage and strength to choose the same. If you question, “Why you need to meditate?” The answer will be by doing meditation; you can learn and choose consciously the power to make yourself happy. Most of the people argue that even without meditation, we can decide to choose what is suitable for us? Contrarily, there are people who believe practicing meditation religiously is a real path to being happy. When you are happy, your mind is also calm, and you take most of the decisions correctly. Just by showing a reaction to any situation is not a conscious choice. It is known as an impulsive thought process. Many of us live as a puppet, under an illusion that they are calling the tune of their lives, but in reality, their lives are governed by various desires, habits and Karmic compulsions. They don’t have much control over these attributes. They only follow these norms either because of external pressure or lack of choice and freedom.

Have you noticed how quickly people get agitated over frivolous issues? Or why do you get angry so quickly based on certain emotional impulses due to unwanted comments of other people? Why do you choose to act in that way? How can you take a decision on behalf of your company, institution or even social organization when you cannot control yourself? People, who can control their “ego-self,” can act freely without taking much stress. A yogic person takes all types of decisions related mostly to spiritual things with conscious awareness, but not from subconscious inclinations. Yogananda says, “Circumstances are always neutral, it is how you react to them that make them seen either happy or sad.” When you act consciously, life responds to all your signals properly. But when you react to various things emotionally; life gets out of your control many times. That is why yoga plays a vital role. Through this practice, you can act in joy rather than reacting in anger or sorrow. This practice will always guide you properly, and you will show a neutral response to your anger, sorrow, love and hate; you will find that your life changes, and take a positive swing. Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Yogananda, said, “On a fundamental level, we have only two choices in life, to move towards the light or to move away from it.” We have these choices in front of us all the time during our act for various purposes. If we desire to be successful as human beings, we must increase our willpower, and we must discriminate wisely to choose the light. Otherwise, we will be swirled in worldly affairs continuously in the life. Why should you wait to be happy? Choose it at this moment and that too instantly, and for that matter if you need to perform, discharge all your duties, and show love and kindness to all persons you come across, do it.

No one can say what could be a quick-fix solution to be happy all the time, but you may try to conduct this small practice. Each morning after you wake up, start the day repeating this affirmation, “I vow from today onwards to be happy under every circumstance. I came for God’s joy. I am a joy.” See the difference after a few months provided you utter this sentence with full devotion and remembering God. Happiness can never delude you.

Identify the difference between Being and existence

Parents always teach children not to tell lies, to behave properly, to give respect to others and to focus attention on their studies. It is quite a natural phenomenon. So, when a mother comes to know that her son is telling lies, she was speechless, but for a while, forgot what to do or what not to do. She started cursing herself that there must be something wrong in her upbringing. Then she took the boy aside and started cautioning him the consequence of telling lies. She said that if you continue to tell lies, one day, a monster with huge eyes and a horn on his head would appear in your sleep, and then he would lift you to punish without hearing any word from you. She finally assuaged him that hereafter, I am sure, you won’t tell lies. The son replied with all his politeness that he will not tell lies anymore but with a simpering he informed, “I feel you are a bigger liar than me because you tell lies most of the time.”

Now, the question comes why people tell lies? What achievement do they get by telling lies? Do you not understand the ground reality that by telling lies and suppressing the truth, you are causing more stresses on your mind because anytime there is a chance, you might be caught? Despite knowing that there is no significant benefit except some momentary gain, you cannot expect a big success in your life by falsifying your existence. Moreover, many wrong doings, false utterances, and lies will make you a non-reliable person to the eyes of everybody, which may even include your family members and children. Because of continuously lying, one fills his mind with the thoughts of unnecessary worries, anxieties, and unwanted tension. Ultimately, this act restricts your spontaneity and also blocks your creativity. Once you lose your creativity, your progress in life in all fronts become slow.

People always wish to increase their knowledge. There is a difference between knowledge and the Being in the East. Here people give more weight on Being. Of course, both knowledge and Being are equally important. Once you allow the transformation of knowledge into Being, then knowledge will be considered as mere information. So, both these things are needed together for the purpose of transformation. You can easily identify the knowledge level of a particular person on a defined subject, but a few people understand the subtlety of Being, which is your presence and that your presence might be a good, transparent, encouraging and inspiring entity. One should not mix the existence and the Being. The building exists, the human beings exist, the tree exists, but they all have their existence distantly visible. For example, Being a man, tree, building, and the Divine, we have to identify all these at different levels. Being always evolves from the origin, but existence starts from birth. Take the case of Being of an animal. All animals have existence from birth. A dog, a cow, an elephant, a cat or a horse though have existence, but their Being is not from their birth. It is from the conception.

To understand this postulate you need to introspect, and study this subject in details, which is mostly related to the spirituality of the mind. Being is an evolving subject, an evolving present. It is applicable for everybody. If a person is getting hurt because of inflicts inflicted on him either by his family members or his friends, it only shows the maturity level of the other person. But if the person who is hurt forgives the other person even after hearing all odd words, it shows the higher level of the person, who has shown the forgiveness. If you are selfish, it shows your Being at a certain level below than the desired level of ideal living. Similarly, if you always urge to serve others and help them in their distress, you will be classified altogether in a different level of Being. If you are compassionate and show love and kindness to others, you will fall in the much higher level of Being.

Being is merely not a matter of judgment but a matter of clear understanding, which ultimately leads to the growth and the spiritual progression in life. How can you work on your Being? Or how can you improve your Being? This topic is very wide and so easy deliberation, and comprehension will be not that easy. But questioning others about the vital statistics of life’s perspective and how to increase the same and finally, how the same will be helpful for others human beings, will provide you some clues of your Being. Then, if you closely analyze and follow the life path of great sages and religious people, you will have more clarity. With this clarity, you must transform and support the process of transformation in your daily life. You have to target to reach higher dimension or higher Being so that you may plan for high achievement in life, and get the fervor of spiritual bliss.

Do your work without expectation of result

The nishkama does not mean that you are not supposed to do any work. It is not related to idleness. It interprets that your efforts are in the direction of pure spirit, the uninvolved witness of passivity and the confluence of the activity of body and mind. If you work with your body means you are exerting your physical energy to perform any work without the spirit, you won’t achieve a result. The reason is that the results of all your efforts entirely depend on you and your divinity, which comes from your attachment to God. What is this attachment? You just remember Him with all sincerity while starting and ending any work. Now, one may question can I then get the result? You can expect, but not with one hundred percent attachment. With His blessings, you concentrate on finishing work to the best of your ability and then you watch what the outcome is?

When your ego identifies itself with the body and feels, “I am the body,” you get involved in the work as an actor. Contrarily, if you feel that “I am the Atman,” the pure spirit and in that state whatever you do, it will be termed as nishkama, means egoless passivity of the spirit. Again, if you start believing only in absolute passivity, your living and managing worldly life and its routine affairs will be a problem. So, you need to carry out all your jobs with dedication and determination to cross any hurdles. If any obstacles come then, surrender your spirit of accomplishment to the Creator without any expectation. The Lord will fulfill your desires. It is difficult to understand the concept of nishkama. Because while performing any duty, by habit, you will have the tenacity to know the result as complete detachment is not possible. You can come to a stage when you understand that whatever achievement you have got, it is not yours. Based on the Creator’s blessings, you have accrued the benefit. In reality, nothing belongs to us. We have come to this world without anything. Then, why we feel pride for our possessions, which are all artificial, means they are our companion for a period till we exist in this world. We require Oxygen, and we also require food so that we can eat the same, breathe easily and can live with peace. With these amenities provided, we can live eighty, ninety or may be hundred years. From nature, we can meet our different demands.

This world is a stage on which we enact drama in any roles. We help mutually each other for a smooth living. You cannot be the owner if you are not the author. The Creator of this world is the material cause of creation. When you established a business empire, you cannot say that I have created this business, it is a joint effort. For establishing this empire, you need a ground, building, human beings and other raw materials, which were already available or you have managed to procure getting the help of other people. You procure these resources, use the same and establish the empire. Human ownership is a representation of something, which has not that significant value in the face of divine blessings. The willpower of the individual is only a distortion of the divine will by man’s large ego. You must transcend fragmented attitude with the help of submission and devotion to the divine will, then only a complete peace and perfection are possible in the midst of performance. You start practicing detachment, and for that, you must establish a connection with God. Then, It will be easy to practice detachment. Slowly, you will move to the path of detachment, and you will only observe yourself as a witness. One will begin to see and acknowledge His manifestations with a complete reverence. Creation and time are endless and cyclic. The process of creation is a high thought of introspection and creation has a specific purpose of recognizing the soul. Human species by birth is treated to be the best vehicle with a potentiality to reach the God. The worldly man has to change his attitudinal behavior to devote attention to work. One will be able to perform nishkama work when he can control his mind, and can dwell in the state of a witness in discharging life’s duties. Of course, there should not be much of a focus to care for the results.

It is possible to achieve this stage in two steps, the first, let you be the worker and your all actions and fruits thereof must be resigned to God. It is known as graceful acceptance of divine blessing. The high-level monks and sages have left their feelings for doer-ship when they reach a higher level of divine grace, the sense of belongingness starts disappearing. This state is known as offering a choice of action to the divine. This special type of attitude is based on the appreciation of the divine long back before you start taking action. The second step, we have to supplicate to the preaching of Hindu mythology. We must practice the concept the “nishkama,” which leads to the path of nishkama Siddhi; otherwise, the expenses of some charitable work, releasing workers and staff’s wages, and many other benevolent works will be meaningless.

Try to do your work without much expectation of results; it is bound to come if your dedication is sincere. After all, God likes sincerity.

Don’t be so fast, just slow down

To pace with the competition in today’s world of digital civilization, we would like to run, but not walk. We want to be fast in all sphere of life so that another person cannot snatch our share of success. It is altogether a wrong concept of ideal living. If you like to achieve a full-scale success, you have not only to slow down your pace, but also to show enough receptivity to others. If people around you are happy with you, they will ensure that you get success in all your endeavors. If you maintain the same principle of working attitude and behavioral pattern, the society will nominate you like the best performer initially in the locality, then to the state, state to the country and then country to the international.

In today’s fast life, and in the age of technological advancement, if we live as per God’s will in a humble way, even unto death, God’s door will always be opened for your assistance in this life, and also in rebirth. If you believe in the theory of incarnation and reincarnation, your rebirth will be there, but how much sufferings you have to undergo here, and then in your rebirth that all depends on God’s mercy. If God promises something to you in the midst of your prayer, which you will be able to perceive once you lead a humble life in line with God’s wishes.

Remember, in all your endeavors, God is with you. Then why to run always, and keep yourself on the toe? He never breaks his promises. It’s you only disobey His advice and then put yourself in the problem. The only fastness will not yield success in your life; you must carry out your duties with total conviction and faith. When God provides you any promise to walk with Him on life’s journey, you have to understand the inkling. For that, you must enlighten your mind and soul. Each of us gets a unique invitation from God; it is not the same for everybody. We are born here not do what we like. We must own the responsibilities entrusted to us with a pang of sufferings.

If you keep faith on God’s omniscience, that is fine, but that does not mean that you will be able to forecast everything in advance what is going to happen to you and when. You can only hope that God is with you, He will not let you face the perils always. He gives odd and good things simultaneously to test your patience. Whatever sorrow you face, He will transform the same in His perfect time. God makes these types of promises to only a handful people, who accept Him as their savior. People who acknowledge God as their savior, their lives are much happier than the others, who do not have any reverence for His existence. One promise Jesus gave to the weary travelers removes all their tiredness. Jesus said, “Come to me, you who are heavily burdened and I will give you rest, for my yoke is not heavy.” Life is full of challenges. We always face a new challenge. At some point in time, we will be burdened and will be prepared to let go and give up many of the challenges. When we do these accepting a few challenges, it can open a new path in our life. Sometimes, you may feel that you will be able to shoulder more responsibilities may be professionally or socially, but while expressing this feeling, you should never think that what would happen, if you cannot discharge the responsibilities properly. That will develop a negative feeling and will eclipse your positive energy. Jesus gave a sermon for all those people in the form of His promises. When we are in two minds before we discharge any responsibility, there will be a state of ‘nothingness’ in our lives and then turn to Jesus, He will give you water from the fountains that springs from His heart and reduces our nothingness to positivity.

We all like to have a peaceful death. Then why do we run so fast throughout our lives? To do work in the right spirit and direction is laudable, but for that matter, a constant moderate speed of life is more than sufficient. Unnecessarily, throughout our lives, we run like a mad dog to accomplish various feats. In the end, we achieve some because to achieve in totality is next to impossible.

Why maintain this fast speed? Just slow down and take God as your companion in all your endeavors. He will ensure that you get the best. In this way, you would get many opportunities in the disguise of His promises. But we can get these opportunities provided we take and respect God’s promises sincerely. In a way, God prepares us for that great experience. It should be the mission in your life to accept God’s promises as your own. We may not be able to help each and every people in this world, but we can touch the lives of a few people with hearts overflowing with kindness and love. If we can do that, it would be a “messenger” of God. There is no need for the message to be big or small, because, through the power of breeze, it would reach the masses for their benefit. Just live a normal life remembering Him all the time with a moderate speed.
