Starting All Over Again......

I was focused on my blog then life barged in knocking down doors and taking out windows, between back to back family funerals, full-time job in transition and going to school part-time in addition to my last child being in a traveling volleyball league. I was about to drown.

My head is barely above water at this point so I'm trying to refocus on my blog and I thank all of you that still follow and support me.

I currently taking an online Business Marketing class so I started a home business and if you're interested I'll show you the business but right now what I'm looking for is support in starting a trial group of 10 currently I have 6 people for a very simple marketing project. Smaller Steps are ok too......

Some of us think that we should give up when things don't work out as planned well that's so not the road to take, we should just start again and go slower when headed towards the goal.

Set the goal (sometimes we aim just a little too high as we can always decrease our reach)
Now break that goal into reachable steps ( in 6months where do you want to be)
Then break that into smaller steps ( what do I need to do to reach my 6month goal)
Now lets get to walking those steps, smaller and more focused steps

Keep in mind if a something blocks or impedes your steps lets go around or over it but keep moving forward.

        I've been neglecting my blog and for my followers

Here is a new way to increase the "special" in any special occasion- this cake slice can be designed for any event- baby showers, birthday, church event and more each slice can be filled with candy, coupons, small gifts etc......

This is a single layer 12 slice cake and can be designed in 2 or 3 layers

NEVER TO LATE TO BEGIN AGAIN

REFLECTION

As graduation comes closer I find myself reflecting on all the things that have quickly passed, the people, the time and the desires that we all have to make things different.

I look at my last child growing like a weed in the summer (she's 14 & 5'7") who will now be off to high school and I think wasn't it just yesterday that I brought her home from the hospital. Wow?! Now she's talking Volley Ball, Basket Ball and Cheerleading Wow!!

As I reflect on all the time that has past and I watch her follow in some of my creative footsteps I just wonder where the time has gone and whats next on the road ahead.
Now all that being said I've decided to make some changes to my business ventures to go into effect by the earliest July or years end at the latest as before I know it the nest will be empty and I don't want to be just starting to really focus.

Now I must go create some things as that's where my list start.

I originally wanted to write tonight about relationships and expectations then I realized this wasn't the forum for that so thought I'd just drop a note for the devil we all fight " Procrastination".

Procrastination saps strength and stalls putting ideas into motion. We must all find a place that gives us that kick in the pants to keep moving forward and my place is WrapCandy, where I haven't been since my fall.
There will always be something or someone trying to put up a roadblock just remember not to help them put it there - make it move.

Well I'm slowly working on things and getting flyers, card and other promo stuff together so the thought we should all remember and reinforce in not only ourselves but those around us is avoid procrastination it is the the downfall of all we are trying to do.

Tonight I am on a forward moving path so I've started with this blog entry then off to create or to try to create somethings for some upcoming events then before this weekend ends I will touch base with my strength - WrapCandy.

Happy New Year!!! to all,

I have started this year off on the right foot, actively staying focused on removing procrastination (a never ending battle) and planning things for this great new year.

I am looking forward to returning to real estate, candy wrapping and many of my other projects so keep an eye out for changes to come.

Ok today is about self development and improvement. I'm taking an online class to learn more about psp (Paint Shop Pro) which is a major tool in this candy wrapping venture and I've already gotten an email from my tutor with my assingments in addition to homework!!

It is only a two week course so I'm about to gett'er done!!

Later I will have an audio teleconference about staying focused and eliminating procrastination - can't wait!

Will update you later as to my thoughts on the teleconference and I've already printed down my assignments and homework for psp. YES!!

One Step at A Time

Although you must take one step at a time you must also not get in your own way with procrastination.
I have entered into this great new world of candy wrapping and found a new income source in addition to a great supportive environment.

I have yet to hear it spoken but they all appear to live one of the things that I believe "Each One Teach One".

I plan to use my blog to promote customized wrappers and to display graphics that I've designed.

I will also share or enhance the spotlight by utlizing assorted graphics from other designers that allow such utilization of their creations, so please stop by again to watch the growth takes place, because as I grow in knowledge my blog will grow.
