The Centre County Sheriff bestowed a courtesy handcuff on a child rapist! Bernie Madoff was handcuffed behind the back for stealing millions and millions, Jerry Sandusky is allowed to walk out handcuffed in front for raping Children. You can't tell me that this case was not pushed through in 6 months to protect the Governor, PSU, and a football program. It is complete bullshit and there are a lot of heads that still need to roll, and the Football program should be suspended indefinitely. Child rapes took place on the campus and within the football facilities, but hey, let’s not worry about that. There are still 2 coaches on the PSU staff that were there under Joe Paterno and why is that, because they are good recruiters. Parents, think twice before sending your kids to Penn State, child rape took place on that campus and they have done nothing to eradicate that stench.
People are saying now (talking to you Allahpundit) that the video that Dave Weisel, er I mean Weigel, dug up will help seal the fate of Christie not being Mitt's VP as he is too soft on illegal immigration, blah, blah, blah because it is new and just unearthed...

That is BS, it was dragged out in Sept 2011, in June 2010, this has been brought up time and time again whenever the whispers of Christie running for POTUS were broached, and now they are brought up again during the VP discussions...

The question is why is this being discussed now, and more importantly, why by the left?
Because, the Left is DEATHLY AFRAID of Christie being on the ticket. He effectively cinches the election for Mitt. Illegal immigration is a huge issue in this country and if you are telling me that all of a sudden the left is going to have a problem with his “views” on where and how the war is waged, you are dead wrong.

For Weigel and the left to come out with this issue against TFM is because they want the right to backlash against it, thus rendering the GOP ineffective in the argument, out of touch, don’t care about Hispanics etc. That is what it is all about, the left wants to be able to say that Mitt can’t pick TFM as he is too soft on immigration and those evil conservatives won't vote for him...
It is a red herring to distract from real issues (the economy) and to help keep illegal immigration, social issues , etc. at the forefront of this election.

I sincerely hope Mitt and the GOP does not fall for it.

Exit question: why else would the left bring this up again, after the primary season is over and Christie is not running….

I fully expect George and Diane to ask Mitt later this week about how his views are so different regarding Illegal immigration, than say Chris Christie's

While I have heard all the names, Rubio, Ryan (who is my only alternative, but we need him leading the budget fight in DC), Condoleeza Rice, Portman, etc., and as the list goes on and on, I keep coming back to one man. In October, he gave a speech in California, it was spoken with so much passion, so much love for country, that people in the audience asked him to run for POTUS himself. This man decided after a long weekend that he felt he just wasn't ready to run for the top of the ticket, perhaps part of it was him, perhaps part of it was not grasping the sincerity of the voters who wanted him to run leading up to the speech, and perhaps part of it after the speech was because he knew how hard it would be to jump in that late in the game (see Rick Perry & Fred Thompson). Things have drastically changed since October, gas is $4 a gallon and rising, we are being told everyday of a faux recovery, No. Korea is about to test missiles, nukes, and who knows what else that his time has come. Governor Romney ahs the operation in place, Governor Romney will do just fine in the Oval office, what Governor Romney needs is someone who can touch a person's soul. We saw this man do it in October in California, this man can do it again this October, and into November. Governor Romney your first major decision once you are nominee is picking a Vice-President, please make this decision and show the country your conviction and pick the man best suited for the job, that man is Governor Chris Christie for Vice-President. There really is no other choice.

America's Campaign

I am tired of people saying Romney won’t repeal Obamacare as it sounds really un-intelligent because Romney cannot become POTUS and just repeal it. It starts with Romney heading the ticket, Christie as VP, Ryan in charge of putting together the message in House, Rubio in the Senate, and conduct a coordinated Nat'l GOP campaign to lead the country back to greatness.

Call it: America’s campaign!

Why is this so hard for them to see!

DRUDGE: TSA PATS DOWN TODDLER IN WHEELCHAIR

If this is what the USA has become, then the terrorists have won...the battle is lost.

I have never been more embarassed by the actions of this country, than I am today.
We give Gitmo terrorists a soccer field to bide their time, we pat down our own crippled children for bombs...

Who in the GOP has any right to call for their withdrawal, considering so many did not even have the courage to enter the fight?

I think it is time to start seeing some one on one polling between the three candidates. That might perhaps illustrate who needs to drop out. I firmly believe that if Newt drops out, it harms SenRick and not Mittens. Any Newt voter that was for Newt based on ideologue has already switched to Sen Rick. The remaining % of his support would go to Mitt with more than enough of that percentage allowing Mitt to win the nomination. Newt knows this, SenRick doesn't want to admit this...Sorry Senator.

Mitt still has the best legitimate shot in beating Obama, he has lost states that will go red regardless and has won the blue states he needs to be competitive in come November. Mitt won OH, not SenRick, Mitt will win PA, Mitt won FL, all 3 states help him win in November, with Christie as VP this is a slam dunk.

Perhaps SenRick and Newt should realize this, however, they both have earned the right to continue, this is America and they are running for the highest office in the land.

My article from last week

Last night's results just reiterate my column from last week, enjoy

Why everyone is wrong, Newt droppping out helps Mitt

Here is my belief on why Newt dropping out helps Mittens not SenRick…

With Newt in the race he is getting 8-15% of the vote each and every time. However, if he were to drop out the belief that SenRick will get those votes is folly because the people voting for Newt (first and foremast are pragmatic and not ideologues) are voting for Newt because he is astute, intelligent, and willing to take the battle to Obama, but not in the same manner as SenRick. SenRick has shown us in the last month his propensity to focus on social issues when his ire is raised and not let it go. Pragmatically speaking, if you are a Newt Voter, (and if you are you view Newt’s intelligence, Spkrshp, work with Reagan and Clinton, and realize he knows how to get things done in Washington) and feel comfortable with him in the White House. Once Newt is no longer running and you look at where the race is today one looks at Mitt and SenRick and realizes that while you can love SenRick for his passion and his views, but he has no signature legislative accomplishments, no bills with his name, he has zero executive experience and has firebrand conservatism will turn a lot of people off (he lost the catholic vote to Mitt in OH! Reason being Catholics don’t mind hearing t from their priest but not from a politician) so naturally people are going to look at all of those factors and say I love this guy, but he is not going 2 win because he turns too many people off and blows up at the worst time with his brain-mouth disconnect. Meanwhile, you have Mittens, he was a governor, he did do the 2002 Olympics, and he is a successful businessman. He is a Mormon (who cares, just saying), but, he does not throw religion in peoples’ face at every opportunity, is a known commodity and has been vetted thoroughly for 6 years now. Obama is mistaken if he thinks Romneycare gives him a pass on Obamacare (and he believes it does) come the general campaign Mitt will tweak his message on Romneycare and state that there are some things that need fixed, but it is a STATE issue, not a federal one. He is going to preach, preach, and preach some more on limited govt and states’ rights. He is going to run his general campaign on how obamacare gives too much power to the feds. He doesn’t need to disavow obamacare in the sense that people think, he needs to disavow obamacare from the aspect that the federal govt can’t require people to buy healthcare and he will issue waivers to states that allow them to set up their own plans for their own residents. Limited Federal Government intervention in state’s rights.

If Newt were to stay in the race, it would draw all votes from Mitt while still allowing SenRick to keep looking competitive and winning states wear SoCons really reign supreme above all. This gives the impression to people that he is gaining traction and momentum and can win the nomination. SenRick’s belief that if it is a 2-man race does not work well for him (it might have before the contraception issues and all of the other social issues over the last month) but it doesn’t work now.

The same could be said for Newt as well, a 2 man race with Romney is not going to bode well anymore as it is so late and there are no more debates to square off with him in.

The inevitability of this is either way, we have a Mitt General Election campaign.

Thaddeus McCotter considers entering 2012 presidential race

Definitely worth taking a look at Thad!

Perry in 2012? (It is ridiculous) Could you imagine if this was George Bush as president still and Haley Barbour was accused of selling Bush’s seat…it would be a three ring circus leading the MSM news every night, as it is there is hardly a whisper.

Then there is the whole New Black Panther Party Scandal….What amazes me is that the GOP is so tone deaf anymore that they are not even going after anything the way they should. They should be going after the democratic party and calling on Obama and the NAACP to disavow the New Black Panthers in their racist overtones and comparing that to the Tea Party. They should also be in prime time talking about their concern regarding Blago and what did the White House know and when did they know it…If they had any competence at all within the GOP, they would regain everything in November with a crushing landslide.

They need to call out the hypocrisy of Obama, NAACP, Jesse Jackson, etc as well as capitalize on the scandal that is Blago…yet, they are not willing to do any of it because they are spineless…The GOP is a joke!

The GOP needs a real voice and we need it now more than ever! However, we need a voice that has the balls to willingly tackle the real issues…the racism that is the Obama Administration and the scandal that is the bribery/extorting/selling of his old Senate seat!

NAACP to condemn 'racist elements' in 'tea party' movement

I wonder if the NAACP will condemn the Black Panthers as well?

(I doubt it)

Pelosi rips Gibbs's House prediction

You ahve to love the in-fighting...I am guessing Gibbsy did nto give Nancy a heads-up that the Whtie House was starting the spin now regarding the chance they will lsoe the House in November....

Michelle Obama in Panama City, Fla.: 'There are still 1000s of miles of beaches not touched by the spill'

If it is ok for us to vacation in the Gulf, then why are the Obamas going to Maine for their vacation?
