@bottlethecrazy is one of those personal blogs that just does it all right. Jenn is a former sorority girl turned geek and has created the perfect mix of humour, geekery, love, sarcasm and an excellent writing style without even seemingly trying to do so. Bottle Up the Crazy has a perfectly balanced feel with a clean and uncluttered layout and the best header in history (don’t even try and argue with me here!). Jenn recently realised that she left her heart in Chicago when moving to LA and so is making plans to move home. Good luck, Jenn!

Yeah, we used Lauren’s blog badge as her picture because if you read her blog, you’d probably recognize her more from her drawings, than pictures of herself. Which is funny, considering she used to not use emoticons. Then she dated a guy who did and now she can’t stop (from her own words). Lauren blends the perfect amount of illustrations with hilarious story-telling, that keeps us coming back for more. Make sure you go through her “Best of” series… and well, the rest of her blog!

@jenfriel is a lifecaster of epic proportions. She’s quirky, nerdy, highly entertaining and incredibly endearing (and also happens to be hot!). Talk Nerdy To Me Lover is the chronicles of every aspect of Jen’s life in realtime. TNTML is currently being made into a pilot whilst Jen is writing a For Dummies book on Personal Branding and persuing 101 advertures is social media to fulfil her ADD. Having modelled and acted in LA Jen is most definitely helping make nerdiness sexy. She is also one of those people who, whatever life throws at them, will always come out on top through sheer will and determination (and a little social media bartering).

One of the first things you’ll realize about Jenni is that she is incredibly humble and down to earth, while being a great writer, even better photographer, and model for her own photoshoots. Reading her blog is like watching someone truly come into their own, and while she takes great pains to note that she isn’t a professional in whatever she’s doing, she certainly attacks everything she puts her mind to like she’s a seasoned pro. There’s a little something for everyone at Story of My Life, whether you have an interest in photography, fashion for less, or her honesty about being a bad housewife.

Robot-Heart:

Robot-Heart is easily the best thing on tumblr. I mean, there’s not much more to say than that. She finds the most delightful things on the internet and posts them for your viewing pleasure. She’s very gracious about how famous she is, too. A solid recommendation, even if you aren’t a tumblr user.

Even if you’re not interested in pretty pictures, check out her politics blog, too. She’s incredibly articulate and keep you up-to-date on all the important issues. I’m always impressed with the clarity with which she argues, and strength she shows when her opponents respond childishly. Another delightful blog to add to your reader!

KT is nothing short of a one woman inspiration. She has taken her personal batter with Cervical Cancer to a national level and assists in raising awareness for HP and Cervical Cancer. Her personal blog posts are filled with insight, quotations, and experiences that she is going through as a twenty-something looking for her true calling in life. She isn’t afraid to say what she means, and she always means what she says. With her talent and dedication, she’s sure to go far in whatever she does.

Something that’s inspiring is a blogger who knows that their niche isn’t popular, but since it’s what they enjoy, they stay on top of it and do what they love. This is what you find with Thomas. Thomas is a sports blogger - people either fall in love, or fall in hate with them. Despite his awareness that it’s not an incredibly popular realm, he writes on, and well. On top of his sports blog posts, Thomas also started another website, e-swagger.com in which several members of 20 Something Bloggers write for. Thomas is a big pile of inspiration, dedication, and awesome who is ready to help with any and everything that anyone might need. Whether it’s a witty comment, or technical question, Thomas is right there to walk you through whatever you need until he finds an answer. Great writer, and great community member? Yes, please!

You probably couldn’t find a first-time mother more proud of her little girl than Crystal. The anticipation of getting pregnant was documented on her blog as well as the nine months leading up to the birth of her daughter, Vegas. Now nearly six months old, Vegas’ life has been well-documented by her mom via Stories From My Ute. And even if you aren’t into baby blogs, it’s tough not to awwwww at the plethora of pictures Crystal posts of her little lady.

KP has been blogging since ‘08, but it seems she has yet to truly find the audience her writing deserves. She is refreshingly honest and downright hilarious. Brandon from Yo Brando:

Brandon has dabbled in blogging before, but as most people do, fell off and on the “bicycle” of blogging. Now that he’s back in the hot seat, he’s reminded us of why we love his blog so much - his wit, humor and intelligence are a perfect combination.

It’s a rarity that you find someone who hops right into blogging with a such a sense of self combined with the ability to write. He’s already given himself a 21 day brainstorming challenge - to where he came up with 21 topics, and he randomly chooses one each day. All of this, and he’s only been a member of 20sb for a few months.
