Not only are his vlogs put together excellently (great lighting, sound, and editing), but it’s great content too. From his VEDA videos to his vlogs where we learn about why he wears a crown to work, his thoughts on dating, Patrick painting his nails to get votes, and even a dance video… You’ll be entertained for hours.

Snark Squad:

Did you ever go back to some of your favorite childhood books or those television shows you couldn’t get enough of in high school and reread/watch them again and think…”what the hell was I thinking? This is ridiculous!” Snark Squad does that for you.

Made up of five of our own lovely ladies, they tackle everything from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Goosebumps to Sweet Valley High and the Boxcar Children. And most recently they’ve decided to tackle 50 Shades of Grey, which had some of us Exec Board members cry-laughing in front of our laptops.

@bottlethecrazy is one of those personal blogs that just does it all right. Jenn is a former sorority girl turned geek and has created the perfect mix of humour, geekery, love, sarcasm and an excellent writing style without even seemingly trying to do so. Bottle Up the Crazy has a perfectly balanced feel with a clean and uncluttered layout and the best header in history (don’t even try and argue with me here!). Which is funny, considering she used to not use emoticons. Then she dated a guy who did and now she can’t stop (from her own words). @jenfriel is a lifecaster of epic proportions. She’s quirky, nerdy, highly entertaining and incredibly endearing (and also happens to be hot!). Talk Nerdy To Me Lover is the chronicles of every aspect of Jen’s life in realtime. TNTML is currently being made into a pilot whilst Jen is writing a For Dummies book on Personal Branding and persuing 101 advertures is social media to fulfil her ADD. Having modelled and acted in LA Jen is most definitely helping make nerdiness sexy. She is also one of those people who, whatever life throws at them, will always come out on top through sheer will and determination (and a little social media bartering).

One of the first things you’ll realize about Jenni is that she is incredibly humble and down to earth, while being a great writer, even better photographer, and model for her own photoshoots. Reading her blog is like watching someone truly come into their own, and while she takes great pains to note that she isn’t a professional in whatever she’s doing, she certainly attacks everything she puts her mind to like she’s a seasoned pro. Robot-Heart:

Robot-Heart is easily the best thing on tumblr. I mean, there’s not much more to say than that. She finds the most delightful things on the internet and posts them for your viewing pleasure. She’s very gracious about how famous she is, too. A solid recommendation, even if you aren’t a tumblr user.

Even if you’re not interested in pretty pictures, check out her politics blog, too. She’s incredibly articulate and keep you up-to-date on all the important issues. I’m always impressed with the clarity with which she argues, and strength she shows when her opponents respond childishly. Another delightful blog to add to your reader!
