Okay today we will be discussing on how to install whatsapp on your laptop or dekstop.

What you’ll need

In order to use WhatsApp Web, you’ll need at least one phone or tablet with an active WhatsApp account, and you’ll need it with you when you sign in. The web service is compatible with WhatsApp mobile apps on Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry, and Nokia’s S60 or S40 phones. Your phone also needs to have a rear-facing camera.

Next you’ll need a computer — desktop, laptop, Windows, Mac, Chromebook, it doesn’t matter. You’ll also need a recent version of a modern browser: Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Safari. WhatsApp Web does not support Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge.
Lastly you’ll need an active Internet connection on both your computer and phone. A Wi-Fi connection for your phone is recommended to save battery power.

Setup

If you haven’t done so already, install WhatsApp on your phone or tablet from your device’s app store. You’ll need the latest version, so if you haven’t updated your apps in a while, do so now. Sign in and/or verify your number in WhatsApp.

Connecting your phone and computer

On your computer, open your browser and head to the website http://web.whatsapp.com. (Bookmark the address if you’re going to use it often.) The WhatsApp Web home page is extremely simple: just a QR code and an option to stay signed in.

Now switch back to your phone. You’ll need to open the WhatsApp Web function. Here are the procedures for the various mobile operating systems, starting from the main WhatsApp screen:

Android: tap the Menu button, then tap “WhatsApp Web.”
iOS: tap the Settings tab, then tap “WhatsApp Web.”
Windows Phone: tap the Menu button, then tap “WhatsApp Web.”
Blackberry 9 or older: Tap “Chats,” then “Menu,” then “WhatsApp Web.”
Blackberry 10: Swipe down from the top of the main screen and tap “WhatsApp Web.”
Nokia S60: tap the Menu button, then tap “WhatsApp Web.”
Nokia S40: Swipe up from the bottom of the main screen and tap “WhatsApp Web.”

Your app will then open a screen with a camera window. Point your phone’s camera at your computer screen and align it so that the QR code is centered in the window. Within a second or two the web app will authenticate, and your account and contacts will appear in the primary WhatsApp Web screen.

If you click the “keep me signed in” option on the login page, you should be able to close and open the web interface for as long as your desktop browser session is active and as long as the mobile app stays active on your phone. If you’re logged out, just repeat the steps above.

Using WhatsApp Web

WhatsApp Web works more or less the same way that it does on your phone. The primary screen shows a list of all the chats you’re currently engaged in on your phone (or any other devices). To start a new chat, click the text message icon in the left column and either click one of the contact names or start typing in the “Search Contacts” field. Your chat itself will appear on the right side, and you can switch between any of them at any time.

Any messages you send will be sent immediately to your contact’s phone, or any other device they happen to be using (including WhatsApp Web on their end). To start a new group chat, click the menu button (three vertical dots) and then “new group chat.” To log out of WhatsApp Web, click the menu button then “log out.”
As of fall 2015, WhatsApp Web does not support phone calls.

Enable browser notifications

If you’d like to see new text messages come in even when you don’t have the WhatsApp Web tab or window active, you can enable browser notifications. These will appear as small alerts in the corner of your screen. When you first open WhatsApp Web, you should see a message in blue just beneath your profile photo with the words “Get Notified of New Notifications.” Click the link below and follow the instructions that appear on screen, and you’re ready to go.
If you want to disable or re-enable desktop notifications, click the Menu button in the WhatsApp Web interface, then click “Notifications.” On this page you can enable or disable notifications altogether, select whether they play an audible alert, or mute notifications for an hour, a day, or a whole week.

How to Crack WiFi Passwords for Free Wireless Internet on Your PS3

People are always looking for ways to save money, and for the most part, saving money and cheating the system are synonymous when it comes to things like free internet access. Practically every new gadget is capable of connecting to the web, which means more and more people are looking for ways around those hefty internet bills.
When it comes to gaming on your PlayStation 3, a fast connection is key to any meaningful online battle. Just think about how many times a crappy internet connection ruined your gaming experience.

Location, Location, Location

If you live in a decent-sized city, some of your nearby neighbors might actually be businesses—and you might be able to gain access to one of their free Wi-Fi hotspots, like Starbucks, McDonald's, or the public library.

If you're near a hotspot location that looks free and unsecured, but actually requires login access (like an airport or hotel that charges money for Wi-Fi accounts), then you can still get around it if you know your way around Wireshark, which will let you spoof your MAC address. If you think you might just be out of range, try moving it around until a better signal appears, then setup your gaming station there. You cannot use external USB antennas, as they don't work with PS3s. And if you have the older CECHB01 model, wireless is not supported. If you don't mind opening up your PS3, you can also try this hack, which replaces the internal antenna with a better external one for longer ranges.

If all else fails, you can always just ask one of your neighbors for their Wi-Fi password, right? But seriously, if there are no openly free or unprotected Wi-Fi networks around you (as in they're all locked down), here are some other methods you can try out...

Let 4sqwifi Do Your Dirty Work

Unlike other apps that help you locate nearby free Wi-Fi hotspots, 44sqwifi actually provides you with the passwords for your neighbor's wireless internet, too. It works by culminating a bunch of user-generated data and provides the app holder with that information.

Images via mzstatic.com So, when someone goes into a free Wi-Fi location and uses the establishment's password (most change passwords on a daily basis), they then upload it to the database, allowing others previously locked out, access to the network. This obviously works better for businesses, but you never know—some asshole might have leaked your neighbor's password to the app, too.
Right now, it's free and only available for iOS devices. If you have an Android device, you should consider using this hack that lets you capture nearby passwords in monitor mode.

Hacking Passwords on Your Friend's Machine Directly

A lot of us let our friends and family members use our computers and vice versa. Depending on your morality index, finding out their passwords isn't that difficult. Most people use the same password for a lot of their securable information, from email accounts to wireless network passwords.
So, if you happen to live next to selfish family members or have friends as neighbors, next time you're in their place, ask to use their computer for Google or something and take their Wi-Fi password instead.
By using a little JavaScript hack, you can reveal previously used passwords in your friend's browser by copy/pasting the code found in this Null Byte article.

If your friend uses Chrome or Firefox, finding out their passwords may be even easier. All you need to do is look at their saved passwords in the browser, unless they have the option disabled. Using this method could yield a bunch of useful passwords—hopefully one of them works for their wireless router. Click here for more information.

If one of those passwords doesn't work for their Wi-Fi, then if it's a Mac computer, you can try using one of the passwords to access their Keychain. After opening up Keychain Access (found in the Utilities folder in Applications), you can view all of their saved items, but to actually see the passwords, you'll need the administrator password, which could be one of the saved website ones found in their browser.

Hacking a Wi-Fi Network Remotely

If you think you've got some hacker skills, then you might want to try the more advanced route to crack your neighbor's wireless password.
You can easily crack WEP and WPA passwords with Aircrack-ng. And you can also hack the password by cracking the WPS PIN.
You could also try KisMAC, a Mac program that scans Mac supported networks for weakness and reveals logged in clients and network coverage. KisMAC is 100 percent free, but it does require an internet connection to run the program. Once you gain access to someone else's internet, you can go ahead and cancel your own. Money in the bank.

Last Resort Methods

If you don't mind shedding a few dollars (but not as much as TWC or some other internet provider will cost you), the following methods might suit you well.

Tethering

Paying for the tethering/mobile hotspot option through your cell phone provider is a last ditch effort. If you need to play you PS3 this bad, then you might have a problem. The prices for exceeding the data limit and gaming over the cellular network are ridiculous.

Verizon and AT&T don't even have unlimited data anymore (unless you're grandfathered in), so it will be more expensive to use more data. Even with jailbroken or rooted phones using a tethering app, you may not have to pay the cell phone provider for the service, but you still have to pay for the amount of data you are sucking up.

Free Wi-Fi (Sort of) with FreedomPop

You could also try to get in on FreedomPop's new beta service, which offers up a fully refundable $49 USB stick and $89 modem hotspot, which lets you get 3G and 4G speeds for free.

For people that don't feel like going through the hassle of using the techniques mentioned above, then this might be just the thing you're looking for. It's basically a noob-friendly hacker kit.

Wi-Fi Pineapple's standard kit, the Mark IV, will cost you 99 dollars. What WiFi Pineapple does is steal whatever credentials/authentications it can find from the list of available Wi-Fi networks that users have accessed in the past. When these users log into their wireless networks they are really logging into a Wi-FI Pineapple created access point. Once logged in, the Wi-Fi Pineapple owner has access to their internet connection as well as their browsing activities.
All of these methods help you gain access to a wireless network. Once that access is gained, your PS3 will automatically detect the available networks and from there is only gaming bliss. But this article should also serve as a reminder to make your passwords hackproof, because it's obviously easier than you think.

How To Hack/Crack Passwords (Principles And Terminologies)

The Importance & Methods of Password Cracking

Passwords are the most widely used form of authentication throughout the world. A username and password are used on computer systems, bank accounts, ATMs, and more. The ability to crack passwords is an essential skill to both the hacker and the forensic investigator, the latter needing to hack passwords for accessing the suspect's system, hard drive, email account, etc.
Although some passwords are very easy to crack, some are very difficult. In those cases, the hacker or forensic investigator can either employ greater computing resources (a botnet, supercomputer, GPU, ASIC, etc.), or they can look to obtain the password in other ways.
These ways might include insecure storage. In addition, sometimes you don't need a password to access password-protected resources. For instance, if you can replay a cookie, session ID, a Kerberos ticket, an authenticated session, or other resource that authenticates the user after the password authentication process, you can access the password protected resource without ever knowing the password.
Sometimes these attacks can be much easier than cracking a complex and long password. I will do a tutorial on various replay attacks in the near future (look out specifically for my upcoming article on stealing the Facebook cookie to access someone's Facebook account).
Now, let's start with the basics.

Step 1: Password Storage

In general, passwords are not stored in clear text. As a rule, passwords are stored as hashes. Hashes are one-way encryption that are unique for a given input. These systems very often use MD5 or SHA1 to hash the passwords.
In the Windows operating system, passwords on the local system are stored in the SAM file, while Linux stores them in the /etc/shadow file. These files are accessible only by someone with root/sysadmin privileges. In both cases, you can use a service or file that has root/sysadmin privileges to grab the password file (e.g. DLL injection with samdump.dll in Windows).

Step 2: Types of Attacks

Dictionary

A dictionary attack is the simplest and fastest password cracking attack. To put it simply, it just runs through a dictionary of words trying each one of them to see if they work. Although such an approach would seem impractical to do manually, computers can do this very fast and run through millions of words in a few hours. This should usually be your first approach to attacking any password, and in some cases, it can prove successful in mere minutes.

Rainbow Table

Most modern systems now store passwords in a hash. This means that even if you can get to the area or file that stores the password, what you get is an encrypted password. One approach to cracking this encryption is to take dictionary file and hash each word and compare it to the hashed password. This is very time- and CPU-intensive. A faster approach is to take a table with all the words in the dictionary already hashed and compare the hash from the password file to your list of hashes. If there is a match, you now know the password.

Brute Force

Brute force is the most time consuming approach to password cracking. It should always be your last resort. Brute force password cracking attempts all possibilities of all the letters, number, special characters that might be combined for a password and attempts them. As you might expect, the more computing horsepower you have, the more successful you will be with this approach.

Hybrid

A hybrid password attack is one that uses a combination of dictionary words with special characters, numbers, etc. Often these hybrid attacks use a combination of dictionary words with numbers appending and prepending them, and replacing letters with numbers and special characters. For instance, a dictionary attack would look for the word "password", but a hybrid attack might look for "p@$$w0rd123".

Step 3: Commonly Used Passwords

As much as we think each of us is unique, we do show some common patterns of behavior within our species. One of those patterns is the words we choose for passwords. There are number of wordlists that have been compiled of common passwords. In recent years, many systems have been cracked and passwords captured from millions of users. By using these already captured passwords, you are likely to find at least a few on the network you are trying to hack.

Step 4: Password Cracking Strategy

Many newbies, when they start cracking passwords, simply choose a tool and word list and then turn them loose. They are often disappointed with the results. Expert password crackers have a strategy. They don't expect to be able to crack every password, but with a well-developed strategy, they can crack most passwords in a very short amount of time.
The key to develop a successful strategy of password cracking is to use multiple iterations, going after the easiest passwords with the first iteration to the most difficult passwords using different techniques for each iteration.

Step 5: Password Cracking Software

John

John the Ripper is probably the world's best known password cracking tool. It is strictly command line and strictly for Linux. Its lack of a GUI makes a bit more challenging to use, but it is also why it is such a fast password cracker.

One of the beauties of this tool is its built in default password cracking strategy. First, attempts a dictionary attack and if that fails, it then attempts to use combined dictionary words, then tries a hybrid attack of dictionary words with special characters and numbers and only if all those fail will it resort to a brute force.

Ophcrack

Ophcrack is a free rainbow table-based password cracking tool for Windows. It is among the most popular Windows password cracking tools (Cain and Abel is probably the most popular; see below), but can also be used on Linux and Mac systems.

L0phtCrack

L0phtCrack is an alternative to Ophcrack, and attempts to crack Windows passwords from hashes in the SAM file or the Active Directory (AD). It also uses dictionary and brute force attacks for generating and guessing passwords.

Image via L0phtCrack L0phtCrack was acquired by Symantec and they promptly discontinued it in 2006. Later, L0phtCrack developers re-acquired this excellent password cracking tool and re-released it in 2009. You can download the tool here.

Cain and Abel

Cain and Abel just might be the best known password cracking tool on the planet. Written strictly for Windows, it can crack numerous hash types, including NTLM, NTLMv2, MD5, wireless, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, SHA1, SHA2, Cisco, VoIP, and many others.

Cain and Abel can crack passwords using a dictionary attack, rainbow attack, and brute force. One of its better features is the ability to select the password length and character set when attempting a brute force attack. And besides being an excellent password cracking tool, it is also a great ARP Poisoning and MiTM tool.

THC-Hydra

THC-Hydra is probably the most widely used online hacking tool. It is capable of cracking web form authentication, and when used in conjunction with other tools such as Tamper Data, it can be a powerful and effective tool for cracking nearly every type of online password authentication mechanism.

Brutus

Brutus is an online password cracking tool that many consider the fastest online password cracker. It is free and available on both Linux and Windows, and it supports password cracking in HTTP (Basic Authentication), HTTP (HTML Form/CGI), POP3, FTP, SMB, Telnet, and other types such as IMAP, NNTP, NetBus, etc.

Brutus has not been updated in quite awhile, but it can still be useful and since it is open source, you can update it yourself. Brutus can be downloaded here.

Aircrack-Ng

In my humble opinion, aircrack-ng is undoubtedly the best all-around Wi-Fi hacking software available. It is capable of cracking both WEP and WPA2, and it is also capable of doing the following, among many other things.

Creating a Soft AP
Creating an Evil Twin

Creating a Rogue AP

Conducting a DOS attack against a Wi-Fi AP

It is only available for Linux and requires a bit of a learning curve to master, but you will be richly rewarded for the time spent learning it. In addition, to be most effective you will need to use an aircrack-ng compatible wireless card, so check their extensive list before buying your card. You can find more info on aircrack-ng over in my Wi-Fi hacking series.
Aircrack-ng is built into BackTrack and Kali and can be downloaded here.

Step 6: Password Cracking Hardware

Botnet

Password cracking is simply a function of brute force computing power. What one machine can do in one hour, two machines can do in a half hour. This same principle applies to using a network machines. Imagine what you can do if you could access a network of one million machines!
Some of the botnets available around the globe are more than a million machines strong and are available for rent to crack passwords. If you have a password that might take one year to crack with your single CPU, a million-machine botnet can cut that time to approximately 1 millionth the time, or 30 seconds!

GPU

GPUs, or graphical processing units, are much more powerful and faster than CPU for rendering graphics on your computer and for cracking passwords. We have a few tools built into Kali that are specially designed for using GPUs to crack passwords, namely cudahashcat, oclhashcat, and pyrit. Look for coming tutorials on using these tools and the GPU on your high-end video card to accelerate your password cracking.

ASIC

In recent years, some devices have been developed specifically for hardware cracking. These application-specific devices can crack passwords faster than over 100 CPUs working symmetrically.

Despite the security concerns that have plagued Facebook for years, most people are sticking around and new members keep on joining. This has led Facebook to break records numbers with over one billion monthly active users as of October 2012—and around 600 million active daily users.

We share our lives on Facebook. We share our birthdays and our anniversaries. We share our vacation plans and locations. We share the births of our sons and the deaths of our fathers. We share our most cherished moments and our most painful thoughts. We divulge every aspect of our lives. We even clamor to see the latest versions even before they're ready for primetime.
But we sometimes forget who's watching.
We use Facebook as a tool to connect, but there are those people who use that connectivity for malicious purposes. We reveal what others can use against us. They know when we're not home and for how long we're gone. They know the answers to our security questions. People can practically steal our identities—and that's just with the visible information we purposely give away through our public Facebook profile.

The scariest part is that as we get more comfortable with advances in technology, we actually become more susceptible to hacking. As if we haven't already done enough to aid hackers in their quest for our data by sharing publicly, those in the know can get into our emails and Facebook accounts to steal every other part of our lives that we intended to keep away from prying eyes.
In fact, you don't even have to be a professional hacker to get into someone's Facebook account.
It can be as easy as running Firesheep on your computer for a few minutes. In fact, Facebook actually allows people to get into someone else's Facebook account without knowing their password. All you have to do is choose three friends to send a code to. You type in the three codes, and voilà—you're into the account. It's as easy as that.
In this article I'll show you these, and a couple other ways that hackers (and even regular folks) can hack into someone's Facebook account. But don't worry, I'll also show you how to prevent it from happening to you.

Method 1: Reset the Password

The easiest way to "hack" into someone's Facebook is through resetting the password. This could be easier done by people who are friends with the person they're trying to hack.

The first step would be to get your friend's Facebook email login. If you don't already know it, try looking on their Facebook page in the Contact Info section.
Next, click on Forgotten your password? and type in the victim's email. Their account should come up. Click This is my account.
It will ask if you would like to reset the password via the victim's emails. This doesn't help, so press No longer have access to these?
It will now ask How can we reach you? Type in an email that you have that also isn't linked to any other Facebook account.
It will now ask you a question. If you're close friends with the victim, that's great. If you don't know too much about them, make an educated guess. If you figure it out, you can change the password. Now you have to wait 24 hours to login to their account.
If you don't figure out the question, you can click on Recover your account with help from friends. This allows you to choose between three and five friends.

It will send them passwords, which you may ask them for, and then type into the next page. You can either create three to five fake Facebook accounts and add your friend (especially if they just add anyone), or you can choose three to five close friends of yours that would be willing to give you the password.

How to Protect Yourself

Use an email address specifically for your Facebook and don't put that email address on your profile.
When choosing a security question and answer, make it difficult. Make it so that no one can figure it out by simply going through your Facebook. No pet names, no anniversaries—not even third grade teacher's names. It's as easy as looking through a yearbook.
Learn about recovering your account from friends. You can select the three friends you want the password sent to. That way you can protect yourself from a friend and other mutual friends ganging up on you to get into your account.

Method 2: Use a Keylogger

Software Keylogger
A software keylogger is a program that can record each stroke on the keyboard that the user makes, most often without their knowledge. The software has to be downloaded manually on the victim's computer. It will automatically start capturing keystrokes as soon as the computer is turned on and remain undetected in the background. The software can be programmed to send you a summary of all the keystrokes via email.
CNET has Free Keylogger, which as the title suggests, is free. If this isn't what you're looking for, you can search for other free keyloggers or pay for one.

Hardware Keylogger
These work the same way as the software keylogger, except that a USB drive with the software needs to be connected to the victim's computer. The USB drive will save a summary of the keystrokes, so it's as simple as plugging it to your own computer and extracting the data. You can look through Keelog for prices, but it's bit higher than buying the software since you have the buy the USB drive with the program already on it.

How to Protect Yourself

Use a firewall. Keyloggers usually send information through the internet, so a firewall will monitor your computer's online activity and sniff out anything suspicious.
Install a password manager. Keyloggers can't steal what you don't type. Password mangers automatically fill out important forms without you having to type anything in.
Update your software. Once a company knows of any exploits in their software, they work on an update. Stay behind and you could be susceptible.
Change passwords. If you still don't feel protected, you can change your password bi-weekly. It may seem drastic, but it renders any information a hacker stole useless.

Method 3: Phishing

This option is much more difficult than the rest, but it is also the most common method to hack someone's account. The most popular type of phishing involves creating a fake login page. The page can be sent via email to your victim and will look exactly like the Facebook login page. If the victim logs in, the information will be sent to you instead of to Facebook. This process is difficult because you will need to create a web hosting account and a fake login page.

The easiest way to do this would be to follow our guide on how to clone a website to make an exact copy of the facebook login page. Then you'll just need to tweak the submit form to copy / store / email the login details a victim enters. If you need help with the exact steps, there are detailed instructions available by Alex Long here on Null Byte. Users are very careful now with logging into Facebook through other links, though, and email phishing filters are getting better every day, so that only adds to this already difficult process. But, it's still possible, especially if you clone the entire Facebook website.

How to Protect Yourself

Don't click on links through email. If an email tells you to login to Facebook through a link, be wary. First check the URL (Here's a great guide on what to look out for). If you're still doubtful, go directly to the main website and login the way you usually do.
Phishing isn't only done through email. It can be any link on any website / chat room / text message / etc. Even ads that pop up can be malicious. Don't click on any sketchy looking links that ask for your information.
Use anti-virus & web security software, like Norton or McAfee.

Method 4: Stealing Cookies

Cookies allow a website to store information on a user's hard drive and later retrieve it. These cookies contain important information used to track a session that a hacker can sniff out and steal if they are on the same Wi-Fi network as the victim. They don't actually get the login passwords, but they can still access the victim's account by cloning the cookies, tricking Facebook into thinking the hacker's browser is already authenticated.

Image via wikimedia.org Firesheep is a Firefox add-on that sniffs web traffic on an open Wi-Fi connection. It collects the cookies and stores them in a tab on the side of the browser.
From there, the hacker can click on the saved cookies and access the victim's account, as long as the victim is still logged in. Once the victim logs out, it is impossible for the hacker to access the account.

How to Protect Yourself

On Facebook, go to your Account Settings and check under Security. Make sure Secure Browsing is enabled. Firesheep can't sniff out cookies over encrypted connections like HTTPS, so try to steer away from HTTP.
Full time SSL. Use Firefox add-ons such as HTTPS-Everywhere or Force-TLS.
Log off a website when you're done. Firesheep can't stay logged in to your account if you log off.
Use only trustworthy Wi-Fi networks. A hacker can be sitting across from you at Starbucks and looking through your email without you knowing it.
Use a VPN. These protect against any sidejacking from the same WiFi network, no matter what website you're on as all your network traffic will be encrypted all the way to your VPN provider.

Protecting Yourself: Less Is More

Social networking websites are great ways to stay connected with old friends and meet new people. Creating an event, sending a birthday greeting and telling your parents you love them are all a couple of clicks away.
Facebook isn't something you need to steer away from, but you do need to be aware of your surroundings and make smart decisions about what you put up on your profile. The less information you give out on Facebook for everyone to see, the more difficult you make it for hackers.

Write naturally

The problem with creating content merely for search engines is that it can make it feel completely unnatural. If you are trying to stuff a keyword into every sentence, paragraph and headline, the repetition will turn readers off quickly.

Therefore your first objective should be to write in a way that sounds natural. Write like you would talk to a friend. Talk to your readers as if they are sitting in your couch.

If your readers like who you are and the way you are talking to them, it is more likely they will come back.

Use Subheads

A blog post without subheads is “void”

I’ve never read a killer article without having sub heads. Sub headings are what makes your blog post look more appealing, and by breaking your content into sub heads – you can easily grab online readers attention.

It’s true that readers like short pieces of content because they are easier to read. However, what they cherish even more are long-form articles.

98% of the popular posts are detailed and lengthy. Though they are lengthy, the quality is maintained from beginning to end. Try to write detailed articles for your blog and that’s the best way to create popular posts, but never make your readers feeling sleepy with your writing ;)

How To Optimize your blog post for Search Engine?

Blog Post Title

We should make sure we are using targeted keywords or phrase towards the beginning of Title tag. Do not repeat the same keyword in title tag with the intension to get better rankings on Google, Yahoo and Bing and limit the Title Characters length to 65 Characters only with spaces.

Post Permalink Structure

Using a clean Parmalink structure can help in search ranking.

Make sure your Post parmalink structure should:

Use targeted keywords towards the beginning of blog post URL
Avoid using special characters, symbols, brackets, comma’s etc as part of your post URL.
Be using dashes to differentiate two strings in URL structure.
Never change your post permalink once the post is published.

Post meta description

You should create a meta description tag which work as a summary for your blog post. You can see it in the search results underneath the main link. Definitely include the main keyword here.

You should limit meta description length to 160 characters including spaces. You should write user friendly meta description tags for better Click Through Rate (CTR) in search engines.

As for WordPress you can use SEO plugins to add meta description and for Blogspot blogs you can use search description to add meta description.

Optimize Image for better search ranking

Images can generate a TON of traffic to your blog from search engines like Google Images.

If you want to generate more traffic through images, you must optimize your images by using the following tips:

ALT Tag: A good practice for the ALT tag is to keep your alt tags short but descriptive. you can fill your alt tags with relevant keywords, at the same time try to make it describe the image.
Compress Images: Images can make your page heavy. You know page load times matter for SEO, right? So, to ensure that your images don’t affect your fast load times, make the image file size as small as possible (without sacrificing quality, of course). you can use image compressor like PunyPNG.
File Name: Just like keywords are important in post url, Including rich Keywords in image url can help in better image ranking. Use descriptive filenames in images with keywords separated by “-” (hyphen). For example, “how-to-protect-your-wordpress-site.png”.

Use headings Tags

Didn’t I already say that? Yes, however, headings are important not only for readability, but also for SEO purposes. They help Google grasp the topic of your content (especially for long posts) and can therefore help with your ranking.

You should use heading tags like h2, h3 and h4 etc to highlight various headings, sub-headings and important points. Also, don’t repeat H2 or H3 tags too many times, as it is considered as negative SEO practice.

Interlink to relevant posts

When we write a new post, it’s always a good idea to link back to old relevant posts so that readers will find the old posts, and search engines will re-crawl the old blog posts.

Interlinking of blog posts naturally will help your blog readers spend more time on your blog. While linking out to your own blog pages, you should use keyword rich anchor text as that will help the linking posts perform better on Google and other search engines for their targeted anchor texts.

Linking out to External Websites

Apart from linking to your own blog posts, it is a great idea to link out to external websites if you feel addition of this links will help your blog readers find more and relevant information about the topic you are currently blogging about.

When you mention another blogger or article in your blog post, include a link to the information you are referencing. Not only is it good blogging etiquette, but you may also get lucky and receive a link back.

Quality links are a valuable commodity for any site looking to rank higher in search engine results pages.

When creating content, always put the needs of your readers first and Google’s needs second. While organic traffic from search engines is something to be desired, your first goal should be to create excellent content, which your readers will love.

If you’re considering pursuing a computer science career, or just curious, here is a list of 20 of the top-paying jobs in the field. While salaries for some roles vary widely by location, industry, experience level, demand and sometimes as the wind blows, this list should give you a rough idea of the more financially rewarding IT-related roles.

20. Data Security Analyst / Information Security Analyst

Typical responsibilities / skills: determine security risks for an organization’s computer systems, databases and networks; monitor external activity; install and configure security-related software (firewalls, encryption); understand compliance issues related to security, especially for a publicly-traded organization; make recommendations to management for security policies and procedures; design and run penetration testing (simulation of attacks); keep abreast of new attack techniques and implement means of preventing these.

This role is more likely to require a background in MIS (Management Information Science) or business administration, although IT skills are valuable.

11. Quality Assurance Associate / Analyst

Software Quality Assurance (SQA) work is on of those unusual sets of roles where compensation varies widely. Companies that appreciate the value of proper testing and “code coverage” pay more for a good Software QA Analyst/ Engineer than they might for a Software Developer / Software Engineer, and thus often require a seasoned developer/ engineer. Other companies pay less much less and tend to employe QA testers — although both variations are sometimes referred to as a Software QA Engineer. In QA work, these are overlapping roles. The tester role is focused on running pre-defined test suites and verifying the results, reporting bugs or interacting with Software Developers/ Engineers. A QA Analyst / Engineer is more like to be the person designing test suites and improving code coverage to verify that everything that needs to be tested is being tested. The latter role can require experience with programming/ scripting languages and/or Web or Mobile platforms.
Salary range: $ 57-147K

10. Database Manager

Aka DBA Manager; has a role that overlaps with other database specialists. Typical responsibilities / skills: oversee how data assets are managed within a company, including data organization and access: internally-generated private and public data, as well as externally-created (user) private and public data; data modeling; database design; define and ensure data backup processes; monitor and analyze database performance; troubleshoot data integrity issues; manage a team of other database specialists, including Database Administrators. The role may require an understanding of one or more traditional DBMSes or the newer technologies, as necessary.

9. UX Designer

Aka User Experience Designer. This role comes in various forms: desktop, Web, mobile, wearables. 1) Be logical

When computer science professor James O'Dell was asked what the important basics to master for computer science were, the first thing he said was to have a good foundation in logic.

“It really does go a long way,” he said. “When you are discreet with logic, it works well in developing the skills needed for algorithms and coding when it comes to computer science.”

2) Be mathematic

Math is also an important factor in computer science, O'Dell said.

“In every way, computer science is based around a mathematical foundation,” he said. “So when you’re programming functions and commands into computers, you need to understand the basis of all of that is in mathematics.”

3) Challenge yourself

One thing that can help an aspiring computer specialist is by testing in real-life technical situations, said Matthew Wright, computer science associate professor. He said people can seek these opportunities out on the Internet.

“I really recommend that people try TopCoder,” Wright said. TopCoder is an online website that holds weekly competitions to see who is the most skilled in computer programming.

“There’s many more like it out there on the Internet,” Wright said.

4) Get involved with a group

Nothing develops skills more than hanging around a group of friends who shares the same interests, Wright said.

“Getting involved with a group of that caliber really develops your skills,” Wright said. “It’s much better to learn with a group of friends, learning the same technical skills, than it is a teacher lecturing in a class.”

5) Be calm in stressful environments

One thing that computer engineering senior Sean Pierce recommends is being able to process large amounts of technical information quickly.

“The computer can be a toy, not just a tool,” Pierce said. “One should choose a field where one has a natural passion, and those who tinkering with their computer will probably be comfortable working with it professionally."

6) Be creative

Being a computer expert doesn’t really mean you are restricted to one single method or practice. Being a computer expert means branching out and always striving for the impossible.

“Nothing in computers is ever really isolated,” Pierce said. “It is important to have a general breadth of computer knowledge, because computer scientists often have to develop interesting solutions to interesting problems.”

7) Branch out

Computer science alumnus Patrick Baggett said that to succeed as a computer genius, a person needs to be diverse.

“You need to learn software engineering, how computers work, how operating systems work, as well as countless programming languages,” Baggett said.

Pierce agreed with Baggett and followed up on his own examples.

“A famous misquote from Edsger Dijkstra was, ‘Computer science is no more about computers than astronomy is about telescopes,’ meaning that computers are our tools, and while we are experts at using our tools, they do not define the field as a whole,” Pierce said.

8) Read and write a lot of code

While it doesn’t sound fun to be going through countless streams of code and data, Pierce said that it is a necessity in order to stay in the computer science workforce.

“Your career will require it,” he said. “Due to technology becoming exponentially complex, one must continuously update their skills to stay competitive within the field."

9) Understand your tools

“You need to understand how your tools work,” Baggett said. “You need not only know what a compiler, linker, assembler, interpreter and web browser is, but what they do for you to succeed.”

10) Learn from failure, then quickly move on

“You need to have a business mindset,” Pierce said. “Even though business majors are our natural enemies and there is typically a difference in ethics, having a business perspective is incredibly valuable.”

Baggett had one last thing to add to Pierce’s comments.

“Don’t give up easily when something doesn’t work,” he said as he laughed to himself.

But, The moment you decided to make money through blogging, you've to treat your blog more than just a passion, Treat your blog like a business. As many already know business needs investment, Just like that your blog also needs investment to make a successful income.

You cannot earn money online (and I mean serious amounts worth mentioning) if you are not willing to spend money online.

The good news is blogging don't need big investments like businesses. It won't even cost more than $100 to get started.

For Example, To Register a WordPress blog, you need a domain and hosting.

Buying a domain on godaddy.com costs only $2.99 for first year.
As for hosting lets take Bluehost web hosting, you can buy it for only $3.99/month for first term.

There is a famous quote by Warren Buffet, One of the most successful investor of the 20th century.

"Do not put all eggs in one basket"

It also applies for monetizing your blog. Do not relay on only one source of revenue.

To be more exact, Most bloggers tend to relay on advertisement as their only source of income. I won't say ad revenues are bad, we can make lots of money through advertising but it's only possible if you have millions of visitors.

Even if you make decent income through ad sales, it won't hurt to have some other source of income to earn more. ;)

Also, Let's say if you are using adsense as your only income source, When your account got banned, you're doomed. Since there is no other source of income.

So, Having different source of revenue is the best way to earn more and keep your income stable.

Expecting Over Night Success

Let me say it before hand,

Blogging is not an easy way to Make Money Online.

You may have seen advertisements saying "How to earn $72K in just three weeks" etc...

I bet they are all trying to make you buy their product or guide.

Okay, There is nothing wrong about it, if they actually give results. But I guarantee that you won't see any results through those guides.

Even Pro Bloggers who earn six figure income didn't start earning that much right from the start, They also struggled and failed, but they never give up, Remember

The real failure is when you STOP trying.

There are numerous way to monetize your blog, Today I'm not going to mention all about it because it's not possible to explain everything in a single article.

The following four methods are what I believe as best and personally use.

Ad Sales

Advertising is one of the most popular and traditional way to make money through blogging. As mentioned above the blogs that earn big money from advertising are the ones with massive traffic.

But, Still it is one of the easiest method to earn $100-200/month

There are many ad serving agents out there like Media.net, infolinks, etc.

In BlogTipsNTricks, I'm currently using two ad service, Google Adsense and BuySellAds.

So, For now I Recommend using Adsence, BSA and Media.net

Affiliate Marketing

This is a type of advertising slightly different from the traditional advertising. Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products.

You find a product you like, promote it to others, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.

There are many methods to earn money through affiliate marketing such as

Placing Banner with affiliate links
Writing Reviews about the Product
Creating lead pages, etc...

But, Whenever you're promoting a product you've to follow an iron rule. That is before recommending a product as an affiliate use it yourself and share your own experience based on it.

To get started, you can visit affiliate networks such as: Amazon, Clickbank, Commission Junction, and literally hundreds of others.

Freelancing

You may already know if you are a regular reader of this blog. I offer freelance web designing service. It is one of my major source of income.

If you have any freelancing spirit living in you, this might be a good approach to take.

Basically, you're creating a new page on your blog, titled "hire me" or anything else that sounds similar. This page presents the services you offer and all the important info on how to hire you. Essentially, it sells your visitors on hiring you to do whatever it is you can do for them.

How to Turn A Screen into a Floating Window on Android

Carrying a large screen phone is cool and useful when you are taking photos, watching videos, or playing games. Phones with bigger screens are like a style statement these days and everyone loves to flaunt their screens wherever they go. However, all it takes is a grocery bag in one hand to kill the practicality of large screen devices. With just one hand, reaching for notifications on a 5.5” device can be quite a difficult task.

To ease things a bit, today I am going to talk about two Xposed modules that can make any screen on Android freely movable. So if your fingers can’t reach the option on the far edge, bring the option closer to your fingers. The Xposed framework needs to be installed on a rooted Android phone.

Make Your Screen Movable to Ease One-Handed Operation

Step 1: Download and install Niwatori – One-Handed Mode and Gravity Box from the Xposed installer. Gravity Box is available in different versions, so you must download the version that’s best suited for your phone’s build. The two letters at the end of the name will tell you the supported version. Like if you are installing it on a phone running on Android KitKat, install the version that says Gravity Box [KK]. After you have installed both the modules, activate them and reboot the phone.

Niwatori – One-Handed Mode module is the one that’s responsible for moving the screen around. But Gravity Box will be used as a trigger to launch one-handed operation.

Note: The Gravity Box trick will only work if you have soft navigation keys on your Android. However, if your phone has hardware keys, don’t worry. We will tell you a way to get one-handed mode going on those phones as well.

Step 2: Open Gravity Box and navigate to the option Navigation Bar Tweaks and turn on the option that says Master Switch. Also check the option that says Enable Navigation Bar if it’s not already checked.

Step 3: Go back and tap on the option Navigation Keys Action to choose the trigger. Here, select the option Long Press under the Back key or Recent key option, depending on if you are left or right handed, and assign a custom action. While assigning, choose Shortcuts instead of applications and select One-Handed Mode Movable Screen.

Step 4: Reboot the device to confirm the changes. After the phone reboots, long press the hotkey on any screen and you will be able to move the screen freely. To return the screen to its default position, long press the same button again.

That was how you can use Gravity Box and one-handed operation mode in conjunction to easily operate large screen phones with just a single hand.
If your phone doesn’t have software navigation keys, you can add the shortcut to the home screen. You won’t be able to make your screen movable from anywhere, but at least it will help you to get to your notifications and apps on the home screen. Long tap to add widgets on the home screen and add the one-handed shortcuts.

How To Customize New Notification Features in Android Software Lollipop

Lollipop wasn’t just a visual overhaul. It’s actually the biggest performance update to Android yet. Even on a year old mid-range device like Moto G, Lollipop runs smoothly. It also brought new features like lockscreen notifications, heads-up notifications, a guest mode, and more.

Notifications really got one of the biggest updates yet for Android. But while all the new features are great, notifications still might not be how you want them. Notifications are the most personal thing on the phone, so it makes sense that you should have total control over them. Thankfully, there are plenty of settings in Lollipop we can tweak to get there.

Interacting with Notifications on the Lockscreen

After you update to Lollipop, notifications will show up on the lockscreen by default. All of them. You can swipe left/right on the notification to dismiss it.

Double-tap on a notification to open it. Swipe up or down on the notifications to view all of them. And of course, swipe up to unlock the phone.

Hiding Sensitive Information from Notifications on Lockscreen

If you have notifications enabled for things like email, chat or WhatsApp, they will show up on the lockscreen, including a little preview of the message. This makes it easy for lurking eyes to read your messages.

You can disable notifications on the lockscreen completely by going to Settings -> Sound and notification -> When device is locked and choose Don’t show notifications at all.

But if you want to have your cake and eat it too, meaning let the notifications show up but without the content details, you’ll have to enable some kind of device unlock feature. It can be a pattern, pin, or even face unlock.

After you’ve enabled the device lock, you’ll see a new option called hide sensitive notification content among the other two options.

This will still show the app’s name but to view the notification’s content you’ll have to unlock the phone.

Customize Heads Up Notifications

Heads up notifications in Lollipop are called priority interruptions. They come in when you have a call, a message or an event. Developers are also free to integrate priority notifications, so even apps like Facebook or WhatsApp could integrate it.

While priority notifications are toast, which means they will disappear after a couple of seconds, they can still be annoying.

To customize these notifications, go to Sound and notification -> Interruptions. Here you can select/deselect priority interruptions and even customize whose calls qualify for priority notifications.

No more toast: To disable heads up notifications completely, tap When calls and notifications arrive and select Don’t interrupt.

There’s also a setting to automate this process. Select set dates and times, like when you’re asleep and only priority notifications will come through.

Give Apps Priority in Notification Sorting

From Sound and notification go to App notifications and you’ll see a list of all the installed apps. Tap an app and you can assign it a higher priority in notification sorting.

For example, if you do this for Gmail, its notification will always be on top even if ten more notifications have come after it.

Quickly Access Do Not Disturb Mode

When you use the volume buttons to change the ringer volume, you’ll get access to do not disturb settings right here. All doesn’t block any notifications. Priority only lets in priority notifications we set up above. And None blocks all notifications.

Here you can specify time as well so the default status can resume automatically after say, 2 hours (range is from 15 minutes to 8 hours).

It Always Pays Off to Customize Notifications

If you play a lot of free games, you know how annoying notifications that keep bugging you to come back to the game can be. In times like these, it’s always good to do a notifications audit. Disable notifications from the apps you don’t need and enjoy some peace in life.

While talking about the iAppLock sometime ago, I promised to come up with an app for the iPhone 5s and above that enables you to use Touch ID to lock individual apps. I know I’m a bit late with making good on that promise and I apologize, but the whole time I was waiting for a free app that I could discuss with my readers. There were a handful of paid apps available on Cydia, but just a few days back a free app was released that actually worked.

A free app, no matter how basic it might be, always gets the upper hand. So keeping that in mind, today I am going to talk about two jailbreak tweaks you can install on the iPhone to get Touch ID security for individual apps. So let’s check out the features of both of them.

AppScan

Once you install the AppScan module from the Cydia store, the phone will respring. The module doesn’t appear on the Spring Board as a regular app and you will have to open the iOS settings to configure it. Once you are there, just enable the AppScan services and select the applications you would like to lock. The app uses built-in system Touch ID data, so only the prints registered with your phone will be detected.

The app will vibrate on any failed locking attempts, but that’s it, the utility of AppScan ends here. There are no advanced options such as putting a recovery passcode or giving the option to open the app using a secret code. If you think of it in that way, the app is actually flawed, as anyone can access the iOS settings and disable the security option that’s regulated by the app.

But the app is free and one can’t complain. However, if you are willing to spend just a dollar, you can opt for Applocker, which provides higher-security locking options than AppScan.

Applocker

Just like AppScan, Applocker allows you to lock down apps using Touch ID. But it offers many other advanced options in the process. What impressed me immediately was that Applocker locked itself down as soon as the service was enabled to protect itself from any unauthorized access.

What’s more, you can set a password of alphanumeric or just numeric codes if you don’t want to use the Touch ID for some reason. In the general settings, all those options can be found and configured. The app has some interesting features that are really productive. For example, if you have to lock down many apps on the phone and just leave a few, you can actually select the ones you don’t want to lock and then invert the selection. The idea sure does save time and it doesn’t miss out on any of the apps.

Applocker gives you the option to set a fail-safe phrase that can be used to reset the password to 1234. But I doubt the day will come when you use the feature, as God forbid, that’s like losing your thumb. Apart from that, you can also set a trusted Wi-Fi zone where all the apps will forgo the password and open without any authentication.

Conclusion

So there they are: two apps that provide Touch ID security for your individual iOS apps. AppScan might be free, but it’s a very simple app with lots of security loopholes. For only a dollar, the Applocker upgrade has a lot of features, and when it comes to data security, that’s hardly a steep price. Finally, the choice is always yours, but do keep us in the loop.

After you have rooted your phone, you can run special applications that require root access on your phone. When compared to regular applications, root applications provide more features.

As these special apps can directly deal with the Android system files, they can tweak your Android in more extensive ways. For example, you can uninstall multiple applications silentlyafter you have root access using eUninstall.

Run Custom ROMs

One of the main reasons I rooted my phone was because I wanted to install and use custom ROMs on it.

These custom ROMs bring many teaks and performance fixes and are much more user friendly when compared to the stock ones. They are optimized in performance and battery are updatedmore frequently than the stock ROMs.

Free Internal Storage

People who have low internal memory can transfer any application from internal memory to SD card after rooting their phone. There are some applications that provide the option by default. But if you want to force move an app by creating a symlink, you must use an app that only works on a rooted phone.

So those were about the merits. Nothing’s perfect and there are certain caveats associated with rooting an Android device.

Disadvantages of Rooting Your Android

So, let’s take a look at the demerits of rooting your Android.

Your Phone Might Get Bricked

Not to demotivate you here, but when I tried to root my first Android phone – Samsung Galaxy S – I bricked it and it was in the service center for next 15 to 20 days. No matter how good a rooting tutorial is, it’s a daunting task and if you miss out any step or flash a corrupt zip file (that’s what happened to me) you might end up with a bricked (broken) phone.

Now assuming that you are not a power user, you will have to go to your phone manufacturer’s service center and get your phone fixed. Moreover, if they come to know that the brick or semi-brick has caused because you were trying to root your phone, you might as well be charged for it.

You End up Voiding Phone’s Warranty

As soon as you root your phone, you void your phone’s warranty and if anything happens to your phone even when it’s in the warranty period, the company is going to charge you for the repairs. In some of the phones, you can un-root your phone, but in most of the phones there’s is no going back.

Conclusion

So, you’ve been acquainted and warned. If you think that rooting the phone to run special applications and custom ROM is worth is, go ahead. If you think it’s not worth the hassle, stay put. At the end of the day, it’s depends on your usage and what you want your phone to do for you. Of course, proceeding with caution no matter how great an expert you think you are is always advisable.

Is the allure of being a superuser tempting you? Android rooting opens up a world of possibility, but it can also void your warranty, or even leave you with a bricked device. Yes, when it comes to rooting your Android, you’ll want to know the benefits as well as the risks.

Manufacturers and carriers have a vested interest in dissuading you from rooting. The act of rooting can be inherently dangerous. Even so, for the careful user, the risk is minimal, and the potential benefits are impressive. This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to root your phone. How to root your Android

Two recent rooting programs that have garnered some attention in the past few months are Towelroot and Kingo Root. Both will root your device in the time it takes to brush your teeth. However, both rooting programs aren’t compatible with every Android device. Here’s Kingo’s list of compatible devices.

If your phone is not compatible with these devices, you’ll have to spend a little time researching ways to root on Androd forums. The best place to start is XDA Developers Forum. Look for a thread on your specific device and you’re sure to find a method that has worked for other people. It’s worth spending some time researching the right method for your device.

Preparation for root

Back up everything that’s important to you before you start. You should also always back up your current ROM before you flash a new one.

You’ll want to ensure that your device is fully charged before you begin. You’ll also need to turn USB debugging on. On Android 4.2 you’ll enable USB debugging by going to Settings>About Phone>Developer Options> and then check the box next toUSB debugging.

Most Android rooting methods require you to install some software on your computer. It’s possible you’ll need to install the Android SDK. You may find other software is required. Make sure you follow the instructions on the XDA developers forum and install all of it before proceeding.

Unlock your bootloader

Before you get started, You will also need to unlock your bootloader. Bootloader is a program that determines which applications will run in your phone’s startup process.

Unlocking your bootloader will allow you to customize your device. Manufacturers have responded to a demand for customization. Many of them have provided methods to help you unlock the bootloader on their website, though they are generally provided for developers, and they usually require you to sign up or register an account first.

Some manufacturers and carriers don’t allow bootloader unlocking, but you can often find a way around that with some searching (try the XDA Developers forum).

Using Towelroot

One of the easiest methods of rooting is through Towelroot. This option works on most Android devices, (it was designed to root the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5) but not all–specifically some Motorola and HTC devices. Unlike other rooting programs that require downloading and running a program on your computer, Towelroot will root your device by simply downloading and running the app. No computer needed. However, Towelroot will only work with devices that have a kernel bill date earlier than June 3, 2014.

To use Towelroot, you’ll have to enable your device to install apps from unknown sources. This can be accessed by clicking on Settings>Security> Unknown Sources. Now you’ll be able to download apps from outside the Google Play store.

Using Kingo Android Root

The Windows based, Kingo Android Root is one of the easiest ways to root your Android device. First, check to see if your device is compatible with Kingo. Their site provides a list of compatible devices. Then, download Kingo Android Root and enable the USB debugging mode on your phone.

Once you’ve enabled USB debugging mode on your phone, run the program on your PC and connect your Android to your PC with a USB cord. The program should detect your device and a message asking if you’d like to root will appear. Select “root” and then hang tight. Kingo will only take a few minutes to grant super user privileges.

Rooting forums

No other mobile operating system parallels the diversity of Android OS. For this reason, there’s no universal way to root your device. If the above two options fail, don’t fret. There is likely a guide on how to root your specific device available somewhere online. Generally you can find a guide to your device on such as XDA developers’ forum and Phandroid Forums.

Once you have found the right guide for your phone or tablet, it’s simply a case of working through the listed steps methodically. It can be a complicated procedure and it can take a while. Here’s an example guide for rooting the Samsung Galaxy S4. It can appear intimidating at first glance, but provided you follow it step-by-step, it should be a pain-free process. You can post questions in the XDA Developers forum if you run into trouble.

DOWNLOAD ROOT CHECKER

You’ll need to download another app to make sure your device has been successfully rooted. There are several apps available on the Google Play store that, when downloaded, will tell you if you have super-rooter permission. Root Checker is a popular one. Simply downloading and running the app will tell you if your phone has super-user permissions.

INSTALL A ROOT MANAGEMENT APP

Rooting will make your phone more vulnerable to security threats. Installing a root management app will give you more peace of mind. Normally, every app that requires rooted privileges will ask for your approval. This is where root management apps, such as SuperSU, come in. SuperSU lets you allow or deny sites’ requests for super user permission. It will then keep track of the permissible apps and automatically grant permission next time you use the app. SuperSU will also keep track of how many times an app requests to root.

UNROOTING YOUR ANDROID

For all the good that is rooting, you may want to go back to the way things were. SuperSU allows users to unroot phones by simply going into the app’s settings and select the full unroot option.

To root or not to root

Gaining full root access to your Android device can be thrilling, especially if you want to tinker with settings and customize your device. How much it changes your experience depends largely on the device you have. If you have a shuttered device, like a Kindle Fire tablet, then it’s a great way to get the full Android experience.

The potential benefits for all Android users include improved battery life, root-only apps, custom ROMs, overclocking, an end to bloatware, improved performance, and the ability to upgrade your phone when you want. If you aren’t excited at the prospect of any of these things, rooting probably isn’t for you.
