Btw…I have no idea what he will be doing for 24 Hours 24 Artists. What I do know is that he will make you think, make you laugh and make you feel.

For 24 Hours 24 Artists, Carmen will adapt her video installation “loqu€valeunminuto.” It is a collection of one minute videos that follows the same visual and content formula. In each piece there is a woman working, her time is measured according to the amount of money earned in that minute and she explain what her ideal minute is.

The project tries to find a different way to measure time. It is a permanent work in progress that dimensions time, work, money and dreams of women around the world.

This creation promotes the exchange and the overseas awareness of labor, social, cultural and economical situations. Also, each time a woman describes her ideal minute, she is sharing her vision of life, her expectations, and her values. In this way, the installation also includes a series of photos representing the collection of ideal minutes. Thus, we achieve a map of time and its own economical value and a map of dreams with its own motivational value.

a Slavic organist who plays Pearl Jam cover songs at a bed and breakfast.
cutting your finger off with a tv remote.
a species of wild hog that eats only finance industry business cards.
a half-full bag of spit.
a football player who can travel through time.

Dizzy or Robert Thomas, who runs Dizzy Banjo Music and Sound, is a composer and sound designer working in many fields including advertising, radio, web, video games and virtual worlds. His projects range from campaigns for companies, organisations or countries across many media and platforms, to pioneering sound installation projects often using bleeding edge technology such as virtual worlds. And Poid says, “I build creatively using smoke and mirrors. I’m a geek dreamer; driven by ethereal fuel some days, nerdtech and biscuits on others. I have a passion for terraforming; sculpting pixel earth is an evolutionary process of discovery where you enter a very different head space. I am a Real Life professional conceptual Artist: a self-proclaimed Wizard who has a severe allergy to Hawaiian shirts.”

The bottom line is that they’re a lot of fun and they always blow me away. Here are a few videos of work that they’ve done. The last one, Passage to Zhong Fu, is one we all worked on together.
