Once I was a cardmaker, even though I gave 95% of my stamps away  I still have my girls because I love them they make me happy but I thought I would create cards that make my style now. I color her with watercolor, the background is molding paste mixed with dylusions paint and watercolor. The bear is colored twice and one on top with dimensional adhesive. I am so honored that Stampington approached me based on layouts I submitted to write a article about evoking emotion in your pages.I couldn't believe it.  To have this opportunity to show other people and encourage parents that Scrapbook is not just about chatty kids or science fairs and conversations about the first day of school. I've been having fun with going back to art journal to work on inner self work. I'm doing some free classes at Willowing Ning site specially like the heart, art healing class. Also wanted to embark and this week's theme of the Journal52 blog I just like themes related to inner work so this one fitted right in. I believe we should not just tell stories that seems to pretend our life is a fairy-tale , but I also don't want my son to think that the pages are negative. So I always try to say this happened I was not happy but I always end saying to him why that is not who is : the negative part of the story, that negativity doesn't define him. But rather I'm telling him why he should look beyond that.
