Former Flipmode Squad member Rah Digga recently chopped it up with XXLMag.com about her upcoming album, Classics.

The disc—her first since her 1999 debut Dirty Harriet on Elektra Records—is expected to drop this summer, through indie imprint Raw Koncept.

“It’s all Nottz production and all Rah Digga rhyming,” the femcee confidently told XXL.

“A guy by the name of Lucas [from Raw Koncept] said you need to let Nottz do the whole album,” the New Jersey native said. “And we argued and went back and forth, you know, I just couldn’t see it at the time…As we started recording, by the time I got to that tenth song, it got to the point where I couldn’t even hear anybody else on the album.” – XXL

Seriously, who else is as gassed for this project as I am? Hell, I’m playing some Nottz cuts as I write this out.

We started hearing about this in January from Jay Elect but it’s dope to finally have Lupe confirm their future collab.

“I reached out to him a couple of days ago with some real serious ideas,” Lupe said. ” ‘Let’s put a program together. Something that works out and makes sense for the both of us.’ He’s a very talented MC. One of the few MCs that I actually listen to what they’re saying. I don’t listen to 98 percent of the rappers out there. But he’s one of the MCs I listen to and I’m inspired to do so. A collaboration is in the works.”

And if you remember… a few weeks back Jay said he has a projects with Mos Def, Guilty Simpson and Nas in the works as well. Who knows if/when we’ll see any of it though.

“It was fantastic,” Jay said Thursday about his latest Garden adventure, the fond memory invoking a grin. “Again, any time you play the Garden is a special moment. It’s special. Wayne, how that worked out, he was supposed to go away for a year. Somehow he was able to perform that last show. He came out to an incredible reaction. Then Drake, Nicki Minaj — all on Jeezy’s set, which was fantastic. Then Trey Songz and Fabolous. It’s one of those magical nights at the Garden. Once again, one of those magical nights.”
