The Complete Team Behind a Heavy Visited Blog

As a web designer is hard to believe that at least once per week don’t check the most important blogs in the industry. The huge amount of information presented in addition to the high quality of these are forming a mixture that is vital in keeping updated with what is new in web design world. Anyway, we, the readers must be grateful to the never ending endeavors of the bloggers that sacrifice their time for our pleasure or informing.

Nowadays, not only the latest news in web design are presented on blogs, there is no domain not to have tons of blogs explaining superficially or in depth what is about or how to do something. The blogosphere, the totality of blogs created, is in a spectacular expansion and what some year ago was considered a fade is in present nothing neither more nor less than a complex industry.

Under these circumstances is very normal to ask ourselves if it advantageous to create and maintain a blog, could it be a solution to gain some extra money? The answer is depending on each particular situation but a blog, used smartly may be a source of money and reconnaissance. At the moment of writing this post the rumors of selling Mashable by his owner Peter Cashmore are very present and the cost of it is simply amazing and enough motivating to think seriously about the launching of one.

The bad news is that the things evolved and nothing can be achieved without a long time effort and many sleepless nights. The success is not the result of hazard, it’s all about smart work and strong will. At the beginning of a successful blog, a single blogger is enough but across time, there must be curdled a team capable of maintaining and getting more and more visitors. In order to get an idea about what suppose the expansion of a blog and how are distributed the roles I created this post, clearly, there is no precise formula, each blog has its particularities. I will highly appreciate any completion, the more ideas the better becomes the post.

1.The owner

Behind each blog is situated a person that believed in his potential and the chance of turning into an interesting voice in his domain. Usually the owner is a very good specialist, also a good writer but most important, is very decided. Peter Cashmore, as example, at the beginning of his blog was writing almost ten posts per day, which is a good ratio for any blogger. After a while (personally, I consider a year the minimum period) a blogger may think to next steps. The evolution of a blog is strictly determined by the traffic obtained and only when is reached the point where simply you as blogger are overdue is recommended to search for help.

2.The administrator

The work of administrator is very similar to the role of owner. First of all he is the chief and only the capital decisions are made by the owner (the tasks may vary according to the preferences of the owner, some wish to have a complete control while other has complete confidence in the admin). The administrator establishes the schedule of posting, which posts are good and which must be rethought. In the process of expansion are required new and new authors and usually, the admin is responsible by hiring a new one. Another role, very important, is in making the strategy on long term. A blog can’t evolve without a draft, no matter how it looks, a simple file or an impressive plan, where are stipulated some checkpoints and deadlines. This is very important to have the big picture over the entire situation. A heavy visited blog has a specialist in marketing and optimization but they must be near administrator in order to make the best decisions. Willing or not, the administrator is the brain of the blog.

3.The authors

A blog attracts people and maintains them only by providing quality information. The role of authors is also very important, without their participation the blog won’t exist. Apparently not complicated the role of an author is very difficult, they are the ones that are fighting for each new visitor. Their work is decisive: write posts, add the images and pay attention to the feedback of the readers.

4.Guest authors

Another category of posts writers are the ones interested in SEO or advertising. They write a post that must be accepted by the administrator and once it got his OK it’s published. The particularity of it is the personal bio, usually situated at the end of the post where is described in few sentences the author and here are inserted links to his websites. Apparently, less important, the personal bio is an amazing tool in the right hands. A blog may function with only these roles but for a more visited one, must be created two new separated roles: the SEO and marketing specialists.

5.SEO specialist

Google just announced a radical revolution related to the algorithm of indexing and displaying the websites, few people know that Google produces monthly mini-revolutions and changes the rules very frequently. Under these circumstances, the role of a SEO specialist becomes obvious and very important. A blog that isn’t search engine friendly simply doesn’t exist!

6.Marketing specialist

The financial aspect is determiner and by neglecting it, the end of the blog is near. A marketing specialist must take care of the promotion of the blog and he decides the long term strategy of branding. Definitely, he may be also responsible by the monetization of the blog so there must be a specialist. It may seem a little bit complicated but in fact is too simple and the roles are looking similar to the ones from any print publication. These roles aren’t fixed and anyone may be responsible for two or three of them or other may replace someone. Berlin MTV office looks great, and while we only get to see the common areas in these images, I’d like to work in an office with these common areas.The space was designed by Dan Pearlman Architects and has quite a wonderful open feel to it. Located in Shanghai, China, Interior Design Modern Red Town Office was designed by Taranta Creations. The office is situated in a former metal factory. The excising diagonal steel structure was causing difficulties to fulfill the wish of the studio to create two floors. The distance between the structure and ceiling was too less for a traditional office layout of floor and tables.

DDB Office is located in Singapore at Pico Creative Center occupying 2 floors of 100 square meters each. A dynamic working culture at this new office workspace which later become a social network area rather than a confined individual space reflected to the new office design that was done by BBFL architects.

Design studio Ippolito Fleitz Group, over the past six years successfully managed to expand both their work load and their team through their successful design solutions in architecture, interior design, product design, and communication design. As a result their former offices failed to meet the needs of this ever-expanding design group. The studio located its new premises in Gründerzeit building, a former factory for control technology in the west of Stuttgart, Germany.
