"A pizza?? For BREAKFAST, Mommy???" Alexis was puzzled but pleasantly surprised when I served this one up for breakfast.

This fun food I did for breakfast instead of lunch or snack like I usually do. AND It's not crafted to look like a critter, or a flower, or an ocean scene, but it sure was a hit - a healthy hit for that matter.

Sorry friends, I've been bad at posting updates on here except for once every week or two. I am working on multiple projects at the moment and it's been a juggling act but I can assure you, we are still having the same fun creating things as always around here. It just takes me a teensy weensy bit longer to post. I posted a while ago on Facebook that I had found "the neatest" thing for my fun lunches I make for Alexis, and I never got around to using it because it got lost in the huge drawer of cooking utensils. The other day, I found it. Aha!

I don't think the makers of this thing could have named it any better. In fact, I probably would have called it this myself: Crustache.

They are Pink Lemonade Tart Cupcakes (and yes, I mean tart like the flavor) with homemade lemon butter cream icing and lemon crunch sprinkles. Yummy.

I adapted this recipe myself from what I have stored in my brain of cupcake knowledge and - a boxed mix ;) and it is so simple you won't believe it.

Though I generally keep fairly well stocked with all the necessary "supplies," even I can admit that sometimes, I just need to go to the grocery store. We just returned from a week out of town, and while we stopped at the store to pick up a few - just a few - staples, my refrigerator was not well-equipped to deliver a huge variety of meals.

That's what I've got to say. I feel like I've been every where, up down and sideways, these past two weeks. Every where but posting to the blog - which is a huge disappointment for me.

Look at my adorable girl, I could just kiss those baby toes all day. She's quickly becoming a water baby, unlike her sister who was scared to death of the pool until last summer (but has since become a little fishy herself). I've also had my husband around to unlock the house for me when need be (how chivalrous), but he's not here tonight so naturally, AFTER leaving the house this evening and locking the front door, I then questioned how I was <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/2LittleBirds/~4/dUxZ5xvtcWE" height="1" width="1"/>

Sneaky Pizza Boats (plus the baby-food version!)

This is green &amp; beautiful healthfulness. Fresh zucchini. I LOVE veggies and thankfully, for the most part, my family - including the three year old - does too. But at times, it's still very difficult to make sure they get in enough of those vitamin and antioxidant-packed veggies thanks to their other loves - carbs and cheese. Who am I kidding? I love carbs and cheese too...
