So I am doing it.

Nobody asked me to review the Telugu movie Business Man. So I am doing it.

One of the unforeseen side-effects of doing an MBA in India is that you will inherit a friend who is from another state. These friends don't just sit there , they watch films. Sometimes they ask you to accompany them. So,I had this chance of accompanying my Telugu buddies to this deliciously wonderful movie for anybody who grew up being a fan of Mahesh Babu.

Anybody who knows me fairly well would tell you that I am not a fan of that dude. Yet I subjected myself to the phenomenal movie that is Business man. Why I did such unthinkable injustice to myself, is what I am not sure of either.

To summarize the storyline, Surya is a young lad who comes to crime free Mumbai, free of dons to become, wait a minute- a Don. He also has this dream of loving the daughter of the police officer because of whom Mumbai had become crime free. He Dances, fights, sings songs, opens offices , recruits goons and speaks loads of punch dialogues* (refer note below). In lunch and other times when he is free, he practices being awesome.
And along comes the classic dumb heroine, who is pretty but doesn't know it, has everything but intelligence. She is to fall in love with this don. Talk about blind love. In case I haven’t mentioned it, the director reminds you every two minutes that MaheshBabu is an awesome personification of awesomeness. Rest of the story is the standard formula. Add forbidden love, a pinch of flashback ,vengeance and a villain and shake it. Out pours a saccharine masala story.

The movie was good in a some parts, bad in many. All through the movie I was trying to picture Vijay in his place and I must say Mahesh Babu does this stuff far more better than Vijay. No, am serious. In short Mahesh Babu can act, just that he doesn't want to while Vijay in most cases can't. Nanban I hear is a pleasant surprise though.

Masala movies are not everyone's cup of tea. It takes years of experience to understand the subtle intelligence in these movies. Some of us are just too dumb to understand them. Verdict : So did I like it? I loved it. Mostly for the audience who shouted at evry punch dialogue. A movie for the fans of the dude. Not for the rest of us.

*(Punch dialogues are the dialogues that the hero speaks to which the villain has no come back. Villains who hear it , simply becom stunned. Its like the super power of the Hero. And the audience love it. Especially we down south)

A harrowing experience..

Ever since I was a kid , I wanted to fly. Let me be honest with you here, we are not used to air travel. We are one of the many Indian families whose standard of living has been linked to the 5th pay commission and the IT revolution in India – which means the first of us traveled by air for the first time only a couple of years back.
So the first time I got the chance to fly which was some time last December I was super exited.Really exited..I mean you get the gist right.Something told me that this was going to remain etched forever in my memory and will come back at intervals down the years whenever I was to fly again.
As I was saying, Last December my mom and I traveled from Pune to Chennai – and I must tell you that traveling with my mother is a harrowing experience.

I remember when we were kids and going to native for vacation traveling by a 2nd class train compartment was a luxury. While it was a means to a destination for all others….for me the train it self was the destination.

Now coming back to the story, My mother and I were the first to enter the 12 noon Air Deccan flight
to Chennai. I didn't want to look like a first time flier. I pretended to be serious and was hoping for a window seat but sadly was allotted the seat next to the aisle. The window seat was already taken by a middle aged woman. My mother sat next to her.
I saw lotsa pretty chicks sitting on the neighboring row.I wanted this trip to be a memorable one.But my mom had other ideas. She turned towards me and saw me looking at the window eagerly and said
"Son,if you want the window seat,I can talk to her"

"Mom mom,NO , don't embarrass me.I am fine"

She seemed about to speak. But I checked her with a gesture.
"Kids these days" She said.

You know , the thing with these moms is that they never think you are grown up.Some days its good. Most days it ain't.

Remember how they show in the movies about how first time fliers struggle with their seat belts on flights. Well I didn't want to be one. I wanted to pretend to be an experienced flier. To escape the situation I decided to pay close attention to the air hostess demo before take off.You know how it is with some girls. They seem to take everything out of you.I must say there is something about their personality that paralyses you and reduces the contents of your brain to mere wet sand....sighh well you know they distracted me. Now I was all lost with the seat belt thing. Not that its rocket science or something but I just couldn't do it. However I saw my mom all neatly seat belted.

Man..okay so I decide to ask my mom for help..
"Mom..a lil help here please?"

She paused at this point and sort of gave me a look and quickly without waiting calls the lady next to her and says

"Hey can you help my son with his seat belts if you don't mind"

Oh boy that did it. She showed me how its done and with the look of a proud engineer who built the Eiffel tower turned to the window quickly. There is already enough sadness in life without having middle aged fat ladies telling you how to tie a seat belt and now this.
As if things couldn't get any bad, the group of pretty chicks saw this. I don't know what they were giggling about afterward but I sure as hell didn't wanna know.
To avoid embarrassment, I immediately got up and left for the washroom.

Although I have boarded flights many times after that, I was right after all. That moment did come back to me at intervals whenever I flew.

First time Flier tip 1: Always ask for the Window seat when you get the boarding pass. You will get it 9/10 times.
First time Flier tip 2: Peeing when at a height of 25000 feet in the washroom is a legendary experience.
First time Flier tip 3: Do not get scared after pushing the flush button, it is only the vacuum at work.

Enjoy your flights!!

It’s my birthday today and am turning 25. Its days like
these that make you realize that you’re kinda getting old. 24, somehow suddenly
sounds way too younger now. There are other times when you realize you are
older, like the time I decided to try out Cricket after a long while.

Let me honest with you, it has been a good 3 odd years since
I last held a bat. But that didn’t deter me from signing up for a cricket
tournament.

There is a large contingent of Tamil speaking people here
and they organize their own version of the IPL. They take this thing very
seriously. I mean very seriously! I
being a Tamil myself signed up for a team. Not wanting to strain too much and being one of the old
guys I had the privilege of strategically placing myself in the one place I
thought there was the least chance of the ball coming.

But when it’s not your day, remember, it is definitely not
your day.

The batsmen kept hitting a couple of balls towards me and
the jhonty in me fumbled a lot. Oh boy. So much so, that the captain and the
skinny 1st year Btech kid started advising me.

“Anna Vegama poi pidinga na”

(Bro run quickly and catch it)

Well like I said, it was not my day. The very next ball, the batsmen Skied a ball
high up in the air.

“This was my chance to glory." I said to myself.
"If I can catch this one I can
show these losers.” I thought.
And I went for the catch looking up in the air,but after that moment all I remember is me lying
face first on the ground , with everyone surrounding me with concerned looks. I
tried to get up but I realized that for the first time in my life I had
fractured one of my hands. Don't ask me how I did it . Shit happens no?.

Anyways The subsequent hospital visit reminded me of the
importance of paying attention.

I went to the doctor with the fractured hand and she
promptly ordered enough Xray tests to understand the problem.

I went to the Xray room holding a prescription slip and waited at the
counter while the attendant at the
counter took care of everything except me. I gave him the customary cough. When
that didn't elicit any response, I said, "dada ?." He looked irritated at the
interruption and grumpily said, "yes?" The prescription slip I showed him didnt get me any better response either. He tightened his frown a trifle and
said, "Place the slip on the table and take a seat." I did as commanded
and waited for my turn to be investigated.

It turns out I was not the only one fracturing that day. A few more people followed suit and went through the
same process, as in . wave to the attendant, cough, interrupt and be sternly told "Place the
slip on the table and take a seat."

My MBA brain sprang to action. I thought, "The dude could write the instruction somewhere and hang it instead of telling this to everyone." I looked for a good spot to hang the note and I
was greeted with this sign: "Place the slip on the table and take a
seat."

Oh boy. Well the rest of the month went by with friends
visiting my room only to pose for photos with my broken arm and me thinking, “I
am officially retiring from playing cricket”.

Man I am getting old ! sighhhhh…

Watched Ra.One today and If I have to summarize the tone of the movie in
one word, it would be “melodrama.” Since I don’t have to, I will
elaborate. Except for SRK who was awesome in the movie, it is a sad attempt
lacking in the emotional connect with the robo. About the screenplay, I
don’t know where to begin. Apparently, nor did the screenplay writer.

The movie starts with a 10 minute scene with Sanjay dutt and priyanka chopra that literally makes us go WTF. You believe the movie will only get better from here but sadly it doesn't.
The story does build up decently somewhat where we are shown a desperate SRK trying to impress his kid. But once Ra.one enters the scene it only gets worse from there. The VFX are cool but then the story is so thin and silly that you don't feel the thrill. Somehow G.one is more like a personal body gaurd to the kid than a superhero. His goal is to protect the family.
There are silly attempts at comedy. By this time you are desperately praying for an awesome climax to make everything worthwhile but then you are left disappointed.
But then the look on Abhinav Guptas face ( a die hard SRK fan) after the movie was worth all this. He was shell shcoked :P
The movie had one of the happiest endings. I mean, I was very happy,
ecstatic, that the movie finally ended.Basically it was a movie that
vijay would be proud of :P

P.S I like SRK :)

There are two big films releasing this diwali. One up North and the other down South.
Now don't tell me you don't know the films! okay, I am talking about the Surya starer (7am Arivu) in the South and the Shah Rukh Starer (Ra.One).
For the uninformed let me tell you that both are big budget films with both costing over 80 crores to produce ,both have great star cast and both are sci-fi movies.
The thing that differentiates the both of them is how both these films are marketed.Ra-one being produced by SRK is seeing amazing marketing done by SRK,while 7am arivu seems puny in comparison.

Team Ra-One has been doing the following things:

A you tube channel specifically for Ra-One (http://www.youtube.com/raonemovie)

And you have an awesome interactive video as soon as you open the above link where Ra-One explains his powers.

You have an official FB page.

It has a website (http://www.raonemovie.com/) ,of course a website is the most basic prerequisite so you would think this is insignificant here. But wait.

Official twitter page (http://twitter.com/#!/raoneofficial)

Plus you have SRK and the gang doing promotions on every channel actively engaing the media.

Hence notably the fever and expectations are high. By doing this SRK has ensured that almost every <strike>tom </strike>surinder,peter and ramaswamy comes across Ra-one at least by accident. On the downside if the movie doesn't live up to the expectation, it will bomb. Which though will happen even without active marketing if the film ain't good.

Compare this to the miserable marketing done by the team of 7am arivu. They had a grand audio launch which is perfectly fine but given the age of social marketing where every company is vying for attnetion online I fail to understand why 7am arivus team failed to take this seriously.Sample this.

Bah,They don't even have an official website. The first thing that comes up on a google search is a sloppy fan site. Even if they did have one they seem to be doing a bad job at SEO.

They have no official FB page or twitter account.
(The importance of having an fb page or twitter accounts are that anything that you post here tends to go viral in a jiffy. Given the re-share and re-tweet options.) Now though you miss out on these and rely on fan made pages.

Again the trailer was not released on you-tube , all we had atleast for the first few days was a video shot with a handy cam of the trailer released during audio release.Given the poor quality of the video it will form a clear bad impression first up. By the time the good print of the film released most ardent fans would have watched the bad one.You tube channels are free aren't they?

I believe the 7 am arivu team and the Tamil filmdom should wake up to the digital age. The costs of online marketing are relatively cheaper and you can target your audience well. In short the returns are great.
I being a one of those who like Surya's work was a tad disappointed at how much it was tough to get news on this movie.
This is not to say the film wont do well. But how much more can be done with relatively less investment. Why leave a few stones unturned. ?

So it starts -1

Assignments:
Arghh when I decided to do an MBA I assumed it was a lot of fun and easy. The real MBAs I was ever exposed to were the HRs. And considering how much I ever saw them work you shouldn’t blame me for taking things lightly.

Here though there are Assignments to be submitted every day.Almost Everyday. First assignment up this week is M3D or Operations Research .The portions mainly consist of equations and a bit of literature. The literature part is interesting. Interesting being a euphemism for creepy. There is a hidden problem in the many words and we have to find them and solve em.

Oh well, Economics on Friday, the portions are truly terrible and I haven't covered an inch. But here I am, writing. Typing rather. I should admit I am a chronic procrastinator. If you insist I will tell you later why I procrastinate.

HBM is another one. The portions are terrible, with dreadfully boring essays <strike>about </strike>err...I don't really know. It is puke-worthy and the syllabus is as vast as it is boring.
Following HBM is this horrendous subject called Statistics. The last one is thankfully Financial Accounting. Child's play.

My main concerns for worry are the twin terrors, Eco and Stats. I think I need more time to figure these out. Ideally if I had an ounce of conscience or fear I should be studying. But I’ll shamelessly admit that I have neither and here I am.
One thing that has happened is I’ve gotten into the Placecom here but I think I should also apply for the post of President in the Indian Society of Advanced Procrastination. Well, May be tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by though.
We’d be amazed at how often people find it too hard to do the simplest things staring at their face.

So you spend tons of time making it easy for them.

IdiotProofing. Its a word often used.IdiotProofing.See?I’ve used it twice already.

The importance of this cannot be overstated because it has no importance. But just as things that don’t need to be said must be said, things that don’t seem important often are. And vice versa. Like marriage.Like this blog.

Its okay if the last paragraph didn’t make much sense coz it wasn’t supposed to. But the point is sometimes we see a lot of idiots.

Like yesterday you had Shivaramkrishnan on commentary says this

“Chennai super kings have a lot of support in Chennai”

Some people just love to state the obvious inferences. It’s not that they don’t know the answer. These are the kind of people who, if they ever stumble on a dead horse, would beat the hell out of it. trying to wake it up.

Yea yea you are right. I’d be choosing the dog.

Its funny as shit dialogues like these that make me watch PoC again and again.

The movie ain’t a continuation to the earlier pirate movies. It’s got its own plot and an end. Though there are characters from the previous movies.,but hell why are we even worried about others , we go there to watch the supremely stupid yet wicked smart and cunning act of captain jack sparrow and we ain’t disappointed much.

Some similarities between earlier Pirate movies and this are “

There are ships with strange names.
There is the journey to distant a land the map to which only Jack knows.
There is a…….yes..a mutiny.
There also is a powerful villainous captain.
and many other like these…yeah yeah they are all the same.

But before you pretend to be a higher intellectual and dismiss the movie I should warn you that you are missing on a supremely fun filled movie.

The only thing that seems troubling in the movie is how Captain Jack sparrow kinda seems like , he doesn't have any purpose to his life,. How he mindlessly goes looking for the fountain of youth. But that's how he is aint he. Chilled out and all cool. So who's complaining?

So all those who agree.Say aye! And those who don’t Walk the plank. For starters he has done a few things considered taboo for 'Mass Tamil' heroes to do.

He has acted in a multi-starer whch I can never imagine vijay or Ajith do.

He has also 'died' in the film...which is again a surprise.

Such is the sorry state of Tamil Filmdom that even things that should normally be considered as regular acting like 'Dying' is considered a great feat. While the audience went...

"Oh my effing God...he died...superb acting boss"
WTF...
None the less it was good to watch a good movie. Merging 6 stories is a different attempt. Although copied from Telugu its better than rip-offs that Vijay manages to pull off.
An interersting watch. Anushka is hot. But remove her part and the movie would still have made sense. Her part of the story was separate and was probably not needed.
Anyways a personal opinion.
The summer though is gonna be a great one with a slew of super cool movies in the offering. And with my plans of having the most of fun before getting into Bschool life , I'm looking forward to this summer.

Cheers.
Yes we know that already. Its just that my belief got strengthened the other day while watching TV. Sample this.
An American news reporter mighty exited about Osama's death tried to interview a few people gathered around the white house. So he pulls up a blonde( yep really) and asks her the following:

Reporter dude: Ma'am , how are you feeling right now that he has been killed?(With a serious face)
Blonde: Awesome....I'm just so exited...umm the crowd here is exiting...and ......its going to be party all day ...

Not getting the reply he was expecting, he pulls up another woman and tries to lead her into the answer by asking a carefully worded question.
Reporter dude: Ma'am we know this is a really an emotional time for you. We have lost so many in the twin tower blast and after so many years of pain now we have got this man. How do you feel?
Woman: I feel great... I was walking by and I saw so many people gathering here, don't know why, so I thought I'll show up too, hurrayyyy ...

The bewildered reporter quickly summarizes by saying " Clearly people here have felt so much pain and feel relieved at getting this dreaded man. Back to you at the studios"

Either my comprehension skills are too bad or I don't know what *clearly* means. No wonder we Indians do so well there :)
To give them the benefit, may be they were just too exited to word things correctly.
Ok, ok! I don’t believe Americans are dumb. But what are stereotypes for if you can’t make fun of people?

Now that Osama is dead, Here is my personal advice, (originally posted after 2008 terrorist attacks) to all those who are considering terrorism as a career option..

Terrorist: A sad Little Coward who attacks women and children. Their hands fighting a war with their own masculinity hidden in the toilet of their soul. What a Pity that human race is capable of producing such a foul being!

so its a big no no..So become an IT pro...u might not feel good about it, but u'll at least be loved everywhere ;)
Idea is not mine I found this same kind of stuff once when Obama and McCain were contesting. I guess I saw it on mad magazine.... dunno..made a note of it then. Was tryin out silverlight development so Thought of tryin the same with TN elections. It'd suit us indian elections too :)
Ever felt hopeless and wished you could just go back in time and change things? Ever had a big fight and felt why the other person ain't understanding you?
But we cant really do that can we? Every ones life is filled with so many failures and disappointments and even I would've had my fair share too. I've found out a very good way to de-stress. So here is a little secret.Shh..dont tell anyone...coz everyone already knows :)

So the point is ,whenever you feel this way just go on to your roof top and look up at the night sky. If you can realize that what you are looking at, is actually light from stars a billion years ago, you can try figuring it out that you are just a very tiny part of this huge space and none of what you do or what anyone else does to you actually matters.(Boy that was a big punctuation less sentence:P) Anyways... Once you think about it, all of your problems seem so little. A nice breeze also helps the cause.
If it didn't work for you then don't blame me. As Russel peters would say.. "It works for me".
I couldn't imediately place who he was...the dood seemed familiar but I just couldn't figure him out.

He was so happy to meet me and was asking lots of questions, while I went"Oh f*ck,Who the hell is he..." Not wanting to offend the guy I just went ahead with a few questions myself...u know the usual s..
asked him how he was,how he landed up here..while casually talking I noticed his ID card with his name ,but still my old stupid brain failed to fetch me the relevant data... So it was like this- as the questions went on I could figure it out that he was from mepco, and had done his pg and had later joined cognizant and that he also was a Bio-tech".....ahaa..finally the magical word and my database gave the correct data for this query..

So as we parted ways with me silently patting the detective me for not offending the guy and still finding out who he was I had a strange feeling that said that he too was doing the same in his mind.
Oh well...Now don't smile, I know you've done this too..haven't ya?

If you try to reach inside of your heart
you can find forgiveness, or at least the start
And from that place where you can forgive
is where Hope, and Love, also thrive and live

And with each step that you try to take
and with that chance that your heart might break
Comes so much happiness, and so much strength
which Alone can carry you a fantastic length

For hate and anger will not get you there
and though you say that you just don't care
You can EASILY avoid the pain on which hate feeds
. . . the kind of hurt that No one needs

Just make the move, take that first stride
let go of the thing known as "Foolish Pride"
Maybe then you can start to repair the past
into something strong, that will mend, and last!

This ain't a real conversation.

On a really cold summer morning in Chennai, I happened to meet this friend of mine. He looked all confused and lost. Being the good man that I am ,I went to him to ask why he was worried so much. Later he told me that he was desperate to know about Systems Architecture as he had to do an assignment on it soon and he had no clue what it was. So I offered to help.

Me: Dude before I can tell you about Systems Architecture , you should know about what Integrated System refers to. Do you have any idea what that mean?

Friend: I know just a little bit. But please do explain bro.
Me: The first principle in having an integrated system s that the data has to be logically separate from the application.
Friend:I keep hearing about 1 tier and 2 tier systems. What are those?

Me: Dude, in single tired systems we need to separate the data from the applications, even if they are in the same physical drive. Think of Microsoft word. You actually open the document , that is the data using the application called MS Word, though both data and application are separate.Got it?
Friend: Yes, got that parrt, so what about a two tier system?
Me:In a two tier system the data would reside on the server using any of the database software like Oracle/Mysql etc, while the application would reside on the local machine. The business as well as the presentation logic which is the GUI part of it reside in the same machine.

Friend: Now I've got a doubt. How does the local machine connect to the server somewhere else?
Me: It connects through the Local Area Network (LAN) through the TCP/IP protocol. Think of it as through a set of rules.

Friend: Now thats cool but what are the advantages and disadvantages? Anything significant?
Me:One advantage is that there will be a convenient grafic interface and also multiple users can use the server at a time as the servers can take the load.
Disadvantages on the other hand are that due to the high bandwidth requirements the system sometimes gets slowed down.

Friends:Now that was cool.
Me:Wait there is more.
Friend: Don't tell me there is a three tier Architecture as well.!!!
Me:Oh yes there is and it is much more effiecinet too.
Friend: So how does that Architecture work?
Me: Here Business logic is kept centrally and the presentation logic is kept locally.Through this the data transfer over the network is minimised.
Friend: Okay now is there is a four tier architecture as well?
Me: No but there is a mult tier archtecture. Do you want to know about that one too?
Frend: You bet I do..
Me: Good. The internet can act as a good example of a multi tier architecture , where we access the data on a server through a browser. Its inexpensive but also insecure.
Friend: What difference does the internet have over the LAN?
Me: Both are same but the LAN is private while the Internet is Public.
Friend: What are the advantages and Disadvantages?
Me: No need for specialist software at each location. Every thing can be accessed if there is web browser installed in the machne.
Disadvantage would be that the applcation would have to be web enables so that it can be accesed through the browser.
Friend: Whoa!! That was an enrichng discussion with you bro. Thank you loads.
Me: Anytime dude. Anytime.
The subject read "Watch carefully". Curious about what it might be about I scrolled down only to find these words

"If you do not forward this mail to 20 people you would be cursed for life and lose your family."

Booo. That was scary wasn't it. I promptly edited the mail by adding the words " whatever happens to me will happen to the sender and deleted it. I just loved the innocence with which people believe these things. I had a good laugh about it with her who calls me her dear brother.!!!

Come to think of it I guess the mails are forwrded because its cheap. If something like the words "If you do not deposit 100000 in my bank account you will die." was the content of the mail, I doubt anyone would comply !!!!

Now now don't be so happy. If you read this page and do not forward the link to 10 people, then you would positively , surely be kissed by a cockroach tonight. You better be scared :)

Cheers,
This time its even more fun. I’ll let you in on a secret conversation between two girls I know. And as usual I know you will keep this one to your self. So Shh…another one.
On one fine rainy night RX is very worried about something that she did and decides to talk to her best friend RY .Apparently both these girls are South Indian Brahmins. She feels guilty and feels pinging her on Gtalk would be better than a call. So reluctantly she pings!
RX: Hey RY u there?
RY: Hi how are you? enna dhideernu?
RX: (silence)
RY: u there?
RX: well
RY: Hmm go on…
RX: I feel so bad u know. I did something that I shouldn’t have done.
RY: what? What did u do?
RX: (silence again)
RY: (Getting excited) Common…
RX: Promise me u won’t tell anyone…
RY: I’m ur best friend. You can trust me.
RX: You know I didn’t want to do it. Everyone in office was doing it and I just got carried away.
RY: I understand…but wat did u do???
(Silence again and after some time)
RX: U promise u won’t tell mom or anyone and especially Kamal!
RY: Oh common I swear I won’t and Kamal? No way…hez an idiot, I know!
RX: I ate Chicken piece that was shared in office today. They forced me to do it.
RY: (A little disappointed) Whatttt?
RX: I knew u’ll be shocked…I’m sorry.
RY: How could u eat that? You cruel, you.
RX: I couldn’t control myself.
RY: Hmmm its ok…no big deal, forget it. Btw how did it taste?
RX: It tasted awesome… and thanks yaar now I feel better after sharing with you.
RY: I won’t tell anyone. Now sleep tight my moon light.
RX: Thanks yaar. Gn Sd.
Now I know you would be thinking. If it’s a secret conversation how I knew of it. Now check the next conversation.
RY: Hey Kamal, you there?
Kamal: Yea was sup?
RY: You wouldn’t believe what just happened with RX…I can’t wait to tell you this.
(Need I say more? So remember “A secret is a secret” Don’t tell any one, even to your best friends)
So Until next time, Shhh Don’t tell anyone

Finally a girl was taking interest in me,and that too a pretty one at that.
Mustering some courage to ask her out, I opened my mouth that she said “You know If you were girl you would have looked beautiful”
Now this was my attempt at that now famous 55 word fiction. See its exactly 55 words and if you noticed a missing “a” somewhere its because it had to be 55 words right. Now technically it is not a fiction since the above incident did happen for real. Poor boy, but in order to make it a fiction lets replace the last line by this ” Hey its amazing,my boy friend too looks exactly like you”
P.S If you think this one sucked, then just remember there is no harm in lying in the comment section to make me happy

Right from free color televisions, electricity, gas stoves to cycles , You name it and the politicians are ready to give it away all free.Apparently everything is aimed at the Ultra poor,so much so that my dads ultra poor Bank Manager friend got free TVs too. Its just amazing to see Jeya and Karuna give freebies upon freebies to the “Intellegent” aam junta.
I fantasize about running for Chief Ministership, but in the same way I fantasize about being Spider-Man. I wouldn’t want either job, but it’s fun to think about how I’d handle certain situations. One situation that pops up all the time is when a reporter asks a candidate to respond to his opponent’s campaign promises to do the impossible. My fantasy answer would be “My opponent thinks voters are stupid.”
The great thing about that answer is that it would generate Instant headlines. Second, it would resonate as being honest and accurate. You’d have to make sure you weren’t making unrealistic promises yourself, and that’s the hard part. But it would be a killer line.
Calling your opponent names, like flip-flopper, clearly works to some extent. But telling voters that your opponent thinks THEY are stupid would work even better, especially if it is clearly true that he thinks that.
I’ve also been wondering about who among the two thinks we are bigger fools. Jeya seems to be the one leading the race with her tall claim of sending Indian forces to form a separate elam in Srilanka!!! Yea easy really…just like picking Candy from a child. Karuna on the other hand gives more believable promises like free TVs.I can’t decide if I prefer the candidate for Chief Minister who claims she can win wars abroad or the one who says if anything isn’t free then its not worth it.I learned one thing for sure ‘Running a State must so damn easy’ if you didn’t worry about running it the way it should ( Oops…did that make any sense?)

This is fuck…. Man,did I say fuck???!!!! Man,i never use any four letter word other than love!!!… talking about these two has made me use such a bad bad word!!!! Buhuhu…
Man,i cannot delete it… My BACKSPACE key seems to have got some problem.. It doesnt work… Man,watz wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What’s your hunch?
