I spent the better part of yesterday afternoon stamping, folding and assembling the Tellaro CDs. All orders have been packaged and shipped today. Thanks to everybody who ordered a copy. I’m really happy with how the packaging turned out. I hope you like it too.

If you also want a CD, please be quick as we close the office for the whole of September. If you order and pay until Sunday, we’ll send you the CD before we go on holidays. Just email me or send money via paypal to info@2ndrec.com (€10 if you live in Germany, €12 if you are from any other EU-country, €15 if you live in the rest of the world). You can also download the album for whatever you think is fair.

Btw, we also received some more copies of Giardini di Mirò’s new album “Il fuoco”. Most of them are already gone though (they are selling like hotcakes).

The CD version of Tellaro’s recent album “Jars, Jams and You” is now available. It contains all 11 tracks from the online edition, plus a cover version of Xtina Aguilera’s “Fighter” and remixes by Multi Panel and Iròi.

The CD comes in a hand-stamped cardboard sleeve, with a 6-page booklet and a lyric sheet. Only recycled papers have been used.

It’s €10 including shipping within Germany, €12 within Europe and €15 for international orders. To order, simply drop us an email.

It was great fun listening to all those different versions of “Seattle, Sicily”.

We’ve chosen not one, but two winners: Iròi and Multi Panel. Congratulations!

Iròi is the moniker from Pietro Iannuzzi from Italy. He has already remixed a song by Giardini di Mirò and worked together with Nuccini, so he wasn’t a stranger to us. To listen to more of Iròi’s music, click here and there.

The second remix we picked comes from the Dutch producer Ludo Maas aka Multi Panel. If you like his interpretation of “Seattle, Sicily”, we recommend to download his EP “The Door”.

Both remixes will be bonus tracks on the CD release of “Jars, Jams & You”, which we hope to release soon. The digital edition is still available here.

We always liked remixes. There are 23 mixes by amazing producers such as Apparat, Alias, Hood, Dntel, Lawrence, Styrofoam, Telefon Tel Aviv and many others in the 2nd rec catalog.

A remix contest however is a debut for us. We are excited to see if and how this will work out.

The song we would like you to remix is Tellaro’s smash hit “Seattle, Sicily” from their latest album “Jars, Jams and You”. Check out our Soundcloud page where you can download all the parts you need. Or get all tracks in one handy zip-file from here (197 MB).

To submit your remix, just upload the file to our Soundcloud dropbox. Together with the band, we will listen to all mixes and select a winner, whose track will be officially released on 2nd rec. Runner-ups can look forward to some 2nd rec CDs/LPs. Deadline is 31st of March.

We’re happy to annouce that our latest release is available from today. “Jars, Jams & You” was planned to be released months ago, but for various reasons (e.g. the demise of our distributor) we had to delay it.

Tellaro’s new album, their third release on 2nd rec, is now available for download exclusively from our site. Although we have mixed feelings about our last “pay what you want” experiment, we are still offering the digital edition of Tellaro’s new album for the price you choose to pay.
