Pinfeathers & Poop. Jango & Boba

On January 9th, 2010, we adopted 3 rescued birds. 2 quakers and a blue crowned conure. The blue crowned conure was caged with a quaker parrot and they had bonded. I decided not to split them up but to try and earn their trust together. We named them Jango & Boba.

Just want to apologize for taking so long in updating. This blog had a little issue with uploads and it took me a while to wrangle my husband into helping me fix it. ;) Hope you don’t mind my belated Holiday pics!

When I was a little girl, I used to spend hours laying under the tree looking up through all the tinsel, the glitter, and the lights. I used to dream it was a magical place. I’d let my eyes relax and the world above would go ‘soft,’ until all I saw was little specs of lights everywhere, like fae-dust. It sort of appeared like this.

Tale as Old as Time

In march 2010 we went to Disney for four whole days and stayed on property.

There are the obvious photo opportunities in Disney. And then there are the not-so-obvious.

If I remember correctly? You pass this window inside Epcot, French Pavilion, on the way to a perfume shop.

Now, it’s not perfect. I’m on a level but the window (I suspect due to tricksy Disney architecture) is not. But I love this–it’s sort the fair representation of what life was like in my head when I was four or five, I think.

That and, you know. It’s Disney.
