The Xxtra Mile, race owners of the Trek and Danskin Women’s Triathlon Series, have announced that the two series are merging to one series under the Danskin name in 2012.  For the last three years, two races were held in Pleasant Prairie, WI – the Trek Triathlon the second weekend in July and the Danskin Triathlon the third weekend in August.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The 2012 Danskin Triathlon in Pleasant Prairie is moving back one week, to August 26, due to a August 19 Danskin race in Seattle.&lt;br /&gt;

The Lake County Forest Preserves are offering another “Walk with a Naturalist” session on Saturday, January 7.  These are one-hour guided nature hikes held at a different forest preserve each month.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Registration is not required.  The fee is $1 for Lake County residents and $2 for non-residents.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Jan 7 Walk with a Naturalist will be held from 9:00-10:00am at Cuba Marsh, near Barrington. The entrance and parking area are located on Cuba Road, west of Ela Road and east of Route 59.&lt;br /&gt;

The Lake County Forest Preserves are offering another “Walk with a Naturalist” session on Saturday, November 12.  These are one-hour guided nature hikes held at a different forest preserve each month.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Nov 12 Walk with a Naturalist will be held from 9:00-10:00am at Middlefork Savanna in Lake Forest. The entrance and parking area are located off of Waukegan Road (Route 43), between Route 60 and Route 176.&lt;br /&gt;

The Lake County Forest Preserves are offering another “Walk with a Naturalist” session on Saturday, June 25.  These are one-hour guided nature hikes held at a different forest preserve each month.&lt;br /&gt;

Learn and practice yoga in a beautiful setting, at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Several yoga classes for the summer session begin this week for all levels of students.  When weather permits, classes are held outdoors in one of the beautiful areas of the Chicago Botanic Garden.&lt;br /&gt;

The Botanic Garden Garden Chef Series features noted chefs preparing recipes with garden-fresh ingredients in the Regenstein Fruit &amp;amp; Vegetable Garden’s open-air amphitheater.  Demonstrations are Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30pm and 2:30pm. The featured chefs for this weekend are:&lt;br /&gt;
