&lt;br /&gt;
nice to have that respite, creating inhabitable space in language, quality of time changes, passes imperceptibly, breathing deepens images--but the writing was slow, too careful as though every word had to fit exactly&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
want to reach the automatic where i write as fast as i think, no inhibition--would mean sacrificing exactness&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
