I tried this and also used a snowflake shaped silicone mold. I placed the finished mold and stick into a pretty Christmas baggie, zipped it closed and placed that into a mason jar mug with a top and a bow. I printed instructions onto an address label and stuck it to the baggie. Awesome gift!!!

Can I just take a moment to tell you…
I made the pumpkin cake – and I made these for it. And Its a good thing the recipe didn’t call the all of them because my husband and me snacked on them until we make the cake the next day and almost didn’t have enough! I will be making these EVERY YEAR from now on. No questions asked! Wonderfully delicious recipe. Don’t make if you are on a diet. You can’t stop.

If you add about 1 tablespoon of vinegar to the water before boiling the eggs you won’t get that foam if you have a cracked egg! I set mine aside for 15-minutes also, I didn’t learn how to have nice looking boiled yokes until I was 55…
