Tara’s birthday party is still in full swing as Sam follows Daphne out into the woods, where she reveals to him that she is a shapeshifter too. They start to make out, but are interrupted by Terry and Arlene and Daphne wanders off. In Dallas, Sookie chases Barry and he tells her that if any of the Dallas vampires find out about his abilities, it would mean serious trouble for both of them. After Bill repremands her for ordering a young man off of the Camilla Hotel menu, Jessica calls Hoyt and the two share a conversation about comic books. At the Light of Day Institute, Jason and the others are put through an intensive training course by Sarah and a very demanding drill instructor. When Luke has trouble completing one of the exercises, Jason helps him out and is commended for being a real soldier of God. Meanwhile, Sookie tries to connect with Barry one more time and learns that he is ashamed of his abilities and cannot control his telepathy the way she can. Even though she offers to teach him, Barry tells her to leave him alone. Maryann continues to stir up trouble in Bon Temps after trying to move into Sookie’s house with Tara, who rebuffs her. She casts her spell upon the patrons of Merlotte’s, turning them all against Tara and making her feel isolated and alone. Eventually, Tara invites Maryann to live at Sookie’s house with her. In Dallas, the Louisiana gang come a step closer to solving the mystery of Godric’s disappearance when Sookie offers to infiltrate the Fellowship of the Sun by posing as a convert in order to see if they are the ones holding Godric. Bill disapproves of the plan and, after asking Eric why he is so invested in finding Godric, Eric reveals that centuries ago Godric saved him from death by turning him into a vampire and becoming Eric’s maker. Steve Newlin shows Jason the seriousness of their mission in the form of a bunker full of serious weapons. After walking in on Steve and Sarah having a fight, Sarah “rewards” him for his hard work by jerking him off in the bath. Lafayette is given his job back as the Merlotte’s cook, Sam and Daphne have sex and Sookie is sad to learn that Barry has quit his job and Bill tries to comfort her. As they start to make love, a woman appears in the hallway outside their room. It is Bill’s maker, Lorena.

To begin with I would like to mention all the young and energetic names associated with this movie. First of its reputed banner of Karan Johar, who himself is known as a Master of Love Stories. Secondly, it is directed by a debutant young director, Punit Malhotra, who is the nephew of famous fashion designer Manish Malhotra. And then it has the two most energetic & talented names, Imran Khan & Sonam Kapoor who look adorable as a couple on the screen. So obviously, one is forced to expect something new, fresh and novel in terms of content from a talented ensemble like this.
But shockingly, what is served is neither something new nor it has any kind of fresh or innovative treatment given by the director to captivate his audience. Very unexpectedly the film is as predictable as the night coming after the day. In straight words, the only USP of the movie is its fresh paring of the lead actors and thats it.

The film opens up with a suicidal attempt by once DCP Agnel Wilson (Randeep Hooda) on pretext of Mumbai Blasts in 1993. When questioned, he bursts up claiming entire responsibility upon himself, quoting 18 years ago when he was posted as the ACP in the mumbai crime branch it was he, who never took serious actions in rise of Shoaib Khan (Emraan Hashmi) who has a major hand in these blasts. Wilson claims that if on those days of Mumbai had he stopped the rise of Shoaib Khan, Mumbai would not had been deluged in the carnage today, then he narrates the time in Mumbai during the days of 1970, when it was ruled by Sultan Mirza (Ajay Devgan), who by his wits had become an underworld smuggler of gold and watches.

The movie starts off with David Harris (Dylan Walsh) in the bathroom looking in the steamed up bathroom/mirror, as he puts some dye into his head and rubs it in. It later shows him showering, and then as he wipes the mirror off, he cuts off the hair on his beard and shaves. He then removes colored contact lenses from his eyes.He makes his way by grabbing his things downstairs, as it shows family pictures of him with the children, and his wife. He turns on the radio to play Silent Night, and you can see by the decorations around, and the song that it's around Christmas time, or even on Christmas day, morning preferably or the day afterwards. He goes into the kitchen where he puts toast into the toaster, and grabs some coffee. He spreads some peanut butter on his toast, and as he's eating he walks around the house a bit, and as he does a little boy is seen with his head down in a sleeping position at the breakfast table...
