This little boy was surrounded by pigeons and swans as he had some bread for them. I was actually trying to take a photo of a swan who was walking towards me from a low ground point of view. A moment before I took that shot I noticed a lot of pigeons around that boy, so decided to take a photo of it, in fact the time it took me to change the angle of the camera and the focus/apperture, most of the pigeons had landed, appart from those ones and it worked probably better. It looks as if it was a stop motion photo sequence.

This is the last shot I took on that trip to Mauritius, on my way to the airport I stopped by the motorway to take it. There was some sugar canes in the foreground, but to get both the sun light and the sugar cane light up correctly was impossible… This was my first shot where I tried to compromise on exposure to get both. In the end, I converted it in black and white and intensified the contrast. What’s funny is that the main area of light was actually moving quite fast as on another shot it was much further right!
