• Luis Davilla shared visual highlights of his travels through Canada, Alaska, and Greenland, including this landscape of Qeqertaq, located on an island off the southern shore of the Nuussuaq Peninsula.
• Gabor Varga uploaded a series of panoramas captured over the past few years from various places around the world including this aerial shot from high above Katoomba and Wentworth Falls in Australia.
• William L published over 50 panoramas in October, showcasing breathtaking scenes from Fiji, including this spectacular aerial from above the coral reef at Somosomo Bay.
• Sam Ablott published a whopping 89 panoramas from the Canary Islands and England in October, including this one featuring the white cliffs around Selwicks Bay on Flamborough Head.
• Bill Landenberger, based in Newcastle, Australia, published 40 panoramas in October from exotic locations, including this one from one meter above the Burrenjim Dam wall.

This month’s highlights are just a glimpse of the incredible diversity our contributors bring to 360Cities, from icy northern islands to sunlit southern coasts. You can browse through our recent activity to discover the full range of immersive content being uploaded every day.

This month, we’re kicking off a new series called 360° Highlights, where we showcase a handful of standout panoramas uploaded recently by members of our community.

• William L was exploring in the Canadian Rockies where he captured some incredible views including this one of the Mummery Glacier.
• Christian Kleiman was kicking back in tropical Fiji and uploaded this secluded haven along with a bunch of other paradisiacal scenes.
• Frank Ellmerich was in the south of France and shot the iconic Pont du Gard aqueduct bridge from a number of angles.
• Jindrich Cermak was home in the Czech Republic contributing lovely panoramas including this one from the stairs above the town of Bechyně.
• Flavio Di Mattia was in Tanzania photographing, among other things, Hippos along the banks of the Mara River.

Thomas describes himself as an amateur photographer with a passion for immersive imaging. Based in Germany and originally from Krefeld, he regularly explores the Oldenburg and Ammerland regions with his DJI drone and 360º camera always in hand, whether close to home or on vacation.

His recent work includes scenes from across Germany, where he focuses on views in the  Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen, lakeside locations, and aerial views that combine precision and atmosphere.

Highlights include:

• A panorama from Serengeti Park showing cars passing through animals in the open savanna space.
• An aerial shot of Penzlin, taken above the island Seeweide campsite.
• A peaceful view of the Waldsee hunting lodge.
• A wide shot slightly above  the Großer Stadtsee (“Great City Lake”).

Thomas’s work has a quiet focus and a clear point of view. His panoramas are carefully composed and technically polished, offering viewers a relaxed and steady way to explore each setting.

Yasushi travels throughout Asia and has captured immersive images in Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam, among other locations. His work includes historic landmarks, religious sites, and natural landscapes, often with a calm and observational tone. He shoots with both DSLR and 360º cameras, relying on a mix of consumer and custom-built equipment to create his images.

A few highlights from his collection:

• A peaceful moment among the Gohyaku Rakan stone statues at Choanji Temple in Sengokubara. 
• A vivid panorama from Kaohsiung’s Lotus Pond in Taiwan, taken from the sixth floor of the Dragon Tower. 
• A quiet view from Hakuun Bridge in Ōmihachiman, Japan, which crosses the historic Hachiman-bori canal..
• A wide seascape from a cruise through Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its limestone cliffs and striking rock formations.
  

Yasushi’s panoramas reflect a steady, observational approach. Whether he’s photographing a well-known landmark or a quiet corner in a temple garden, his perspective remains consistent, with attention to place and detail.

In July, Christian uploaded 28 new high-quality panoramas, organized into two user sets focused on the Yasawa Islands of Fiji. These sets capture both the region’s natural beauty and glimpses of daily life in Bukama Village, combining wide-open coastal scenes with moments of quiet activity.

Christian describes himself as a fine art photographer currently based in Dubai, with a background that began in aerial photography. Over the years, he has explored many formats and locations—from parasail-mounted cameras to concept series in New Zealand and the South Pacific. His most recent work brings that experience into focus through balanced, well-composed imagery that is both personal and observational.

Most of David’s July contributions come from across Ireland, with a few wintery scenes from northern Norway as well. His work combines landscapes, historical sites, and city scenes with a consistent sense of atmosphere and storytelling.

David describes his goal as sharing the beauty and stories of the places he visits, and his images do just that. Since joining 360Cities in 2017, Joo has published a remarkable 686 panoramas and 6 stunning 360º videos, with a clear focus on aerial photography. His lens continues to hover above South Korea’s hills, coasts, and countryside, offering viewers a calm, sunlit view of places both familiar and tucked away. Joo has an Expert badge. 

In June alone, he published 58 new panoramas, nearly all of them captured from above, and many bathed in the sharp light of early summer. It’s a growing collection that offers not only visual beauty but a genuine sense of place.
