Priorswood Parish Photoshoot

The day was gloomy at the start but I think my calls to heaven were listened and I managed to shoot the Priorswood Franciscan Church yesterday afternoon. The church doesn’t look impressive when you look at it from the outside but it would surprise you inside. Lots of nice features and nicely designed thought altar. I will beck to get some more shots and the 360º tour will follow soon. Here are some still images

Life Festival 2010

On 4th, 5th & 6th of June another Life Festival took place by the lake on the grounds of Belvedere House, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. We were asked to document this event with our 360 degree photography techniques. The event was organised on the grounds of Belveder House and the setting is really amazing, the park, lake and lots of nature really makes a perfect place to forget about the city and to have some fun listening to the world best Djs.

Belvedere House was designed by the famous architect Richard Castles who designed the majority of the Palladian mansions in Ireland. Built for Robert Rochfort later Lord Belvedere in 1740 as a Georgian Villa, somewhere to escape the ordeal of Family life at their nearby main residence Gaulstown House.

We spent 2 days listening to good beats, mixing up with music hungry people and soaking slightly in rain on Sunday, but the effect of our 360 virtual tours can be seen below…

NCAD Graduate Show 2010 in 360° – Dublin

On Friday, 11th June the NCAD (National College of Art & Design) Annual Graduate exhibition was opened.

The exhibition showing work by fine-art BA and MA graduates last for over a week. We were looking forward to seeing this show as we do every year. I think that NCAD does great job with encouraging students to experiment with art and to find the ways to express themselves. I prefer it much more than traditional forms, its much more emotional and can uncover real creativity. Besides fine art, the exhibition showed work of graduates from other NCAD departments such as: textiles, ceramics, print, industrial design, fashion and graphic design.

The exhibition was definitely worth to look at, I was happy to support the students and document their work. This way, even if you missed it, you can enjoy the Virtual Tours of the event and feel like being there! Congratulations to all the graduates who took part in this exhibition and good luck in the future!
