Ring light

Finally...like everybody else, i also now own a big ass ring light.

I have no work today so i thought i would try out my ring light and see if it does what it claim it does best . Which would of cause be improving the quality of any portrait picture.

My bf got this for me as a gift because i was contemplating of getting one for the longest time but isnt that keen of spending 100 of dollars on something which im not completely sure of. Seriously the best bf in the world.

The pictures turn out pretty good i suppose except for the background. Im still learning how to brighten up the background of the image because its super dark!

If anybody has any pointers on how to improve the background lighting please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Fishing Trip At Wallaroo

Other than make-up, fashion and all pretty things put together, i also love the outdoors especially when it comes to beaches.

Since its the summer,the family plan a one night trip to Wallaroo for a fishing/crabbing experience and it was one of the nicest beach i have ever been to in Adelaide thus far.

It is a 2hour drive from Adelaide to Wallaroo but it was all worth it in the end. The drive was a tad bit boring because all i could see was dead trees, more random vegetation ,animals and more random plants. Unfortunately i loss interest in looking at goats, cows,horses and more random farm animals after the first 30minutes of the drive.

Anyway, what i got out from this trip would be i learn how to clean squid, fish,500000 times shade darker and i also learn that fishing is an aggressive sport. How isit people can stereotype fishing as calm and relaxing??? I nearly got into a fight with this fat , white racist uncle for yelling slur words at me and my sis for fishing too near him. Wtf....it was like 5 metres away from him. Plus his friend even said it was fine because they were about to leave. Any reasonable adult would have just kept quiet after that but no, not this fat dude. He continues to yell at his friends that he dont give a fuck whether they are about to leave and than proceed to call us "Chink" .

" *Yawn* Yup...Keep on talking boy. Mama don't give a shit what you say because you're already too fat to be walking by yourself. You're in a wheelchair."

So yea, i was really furious at that point in time but he is in a wheelchair. He already has enough issues of his own. Plus what am i going to do anyway , yell back and downgrade myself to his level or wheelchair him off the jetty? The 2nd option sounds pretty good but i will probably go to jail.

Other than that, I saw two men fighting like a 3 year boy because another man fish to near him ( It wasn't even that near). Seriously guys....it is suppose to be a fun thing, its not like he is stealing $1k worth of fishes away from you. If yes, you have my permission to punch him the balls.

P/s: I saw a wild dolphin while fishing!!!! That is also a sign that there are no fishes left surrounding that particular area. It was a bittersweet moment.

I loss my blogging mojo again. SIGH....

All i do is work and sleep now. So lifeless and sad. The bf went back to Malaysia to work and unfortunately i don't do well with long distance.

The first time away from my hometown during chinese new year. Youtubing chinese new year songs just to remind me it's that time of the year again where we all gather as a family and receive red packets. How i love family reunion dinner and the massive fireworks at the strike of midnight.

I miss you Malaysia.

Kuching flood- The worst i have ever encounter

The search and rescue team finally found the body of the drowning vicitm ,two days after the search ,however one of the victim's body is still missing.

What is happening to Kuching? I am not in Kuching at the moment but news about the flash flood is horrifying. It wasn't even that bad last year!

Even a friend of mine from Kuching said somebody caught a shark during the flood. Im not sure if this is real or not.

Blame global warming if we must but i really pray the body of the other victim ,Koh ying Qi ,be found as soon as possible. I also pray everybody who is in my beloved hometown stay warm and safe.

Sick Again

Sick AGAIN.

It might be the constant change of weather (Because Australia likes it hot or cold whenever it feels like it) or the food i have been eating but i am so sick of getting sick.

I actually had to miss out on one of my fishing trips with the family because i was feeling so bad that i had this constant urge to vomit and shit at the same time. Do you people know how awful and annoying that feels???? It's like trying to sneeze with your eyes wide open. Simply isn't feasible.

My bed, Maxalon and my ipad have been my bestfriend for the past 3 days. It sucks when people are out there having so much fun while you're stuck at home feeling sick and sorry for yourself because you're born weak. Im pretty sure im one of those unfortunate babies that were born weak.I remember constantly visiting the hospital or clinic with my mum when i was younger because of various sickness such as the flu , block nose ( I think i breathe through my mouth for nearly 10 years of my life before i recovered and was finally able to use my nose like a normal human being. Even animals breathe through their nose. Im neither human nor animal. Im a mermaid.) or fever.

Anyway i shouldn't complain because i know a girl of my age who died of malign brain tumor. We go to the same tuition centre and she pass away when she was only 12years of age. I don't personally know her well except for the fact that she is always smiling and laughing. Therefore it did came as a huge blow to me when somebody told me she pass away due to cancer. She had hair ok, plus she was so cheerful all the time. If i was her ill probably cry in bed every single day in hopes for a miracle to happen. Dear Annabelle, do rest in peace.Your pain and sufferings are gone and you are at a much better place right now. Your smiles and laughter has never once fail to lit the face of others.*silent prayer*

Life is short, cherish it and live life to the fullest. A motto i have live by whenever i encounter a road block or when situations start to get tough. I also tell this to myself everyday when that little voice inside your head call fear strikes again, be it for a job interview or a really gut dropping roller coaster ride. Never let fear stop you in pursuing your dreams because i sure as hell aint letting fear get the best out of me. I may fail from time to time but i believe if we learn from our mistakes and persevere in what we love to do, one day, maybe just one day we will succeed.

Omg, speaking about job interviews and what not i still cant believe time passes so quick. I still cant believe 3 years of my uni life is finally over. It's finally that next phase in life and ready or not i have to start applying and calling various companies if i want to enter that next phase as soon as possible. Google and the yellow pages can be my next bestfriend the moment i recover from this food poisoning ( Assuming i have food poisoning because i started feeling this way after i gormandize on a whole pot of mussels.) .

But im feeling so much better now if anybody actually cared. i cant wait to fully recover because im not sure why but i have this huge temptation to do my first fashion post.Im not sure how Ill be taking a pretty full shot picture of myself because i don't like taking pictures of my reflection through a full length mirror. Ill probably use the self timer mode or grab my sister to take pictures of me. We shall see.

Anyway, im off to yumcha with the family now so audios amigos. Im off to get fat.

Baby took me to watch Happy Feet 2 today and i love it!!!!!

It's a must watch for everybody because it is filled with wonderful songs that melt your hearts and funny jokes that makes you laugh out loud. I love all the characters in the show as well. From the cute baby penguins to the not so cute adult ones and especially the Krills where Matt damon and Brat Pitt voice them.

I laugh. I smiled. I cried.

Time passes at the blink of an eye. I still cant believe it. Today is the start of a brand new year and im still totally unprepared for.Actually there is nothing to prepare but not knowing what my future looks like ahead is pretty scary.

I don't have a new year's resolution this year. All i hope for is a new permanent job and my one and only dream to come true.

Sensitive Boys

Bonjour my lovely readers.....

I have a question for all of you,

Is it OK to date a guy who is overly sensitive?

He listens to you, plans super romantic dinner dates, will pick you over anything (xbox,beer, friends and any other guy related stuff lah) , he is even willing to drive 1000's of miles just to get you that box of macaroons just because the ones that are nearby taste really awful.

In my books, this "guy" seem almost like a perfect boyfriend. I on the other hand will never drive anyway to get anything for anyone if its more than an hour drive away. Almost every girl would be at awe if your dating such a sweet , caring and most importantly romantic person.

That is until...........I had to read their freaking BlOG!

The creepy feeling im feeling right now is something i usually get after watching a sad sadistic horror show like "The Hills Have Eyes". Their thinking is so sadistic that im starting to wonder how their girlfriends tolerate this annoying monstrosity.

I came across two blogs today that were created especially for their girlfriends. They write about their daily doings with their girl be it happy or not. Trust me, the happy part is so minimal and almost 70% of the blog is annoyingly sad.

They seriously misuse the guilty card and blame themselves for everything that went wrong in their relationship. They go on and on about how much they love their girlfriends but than again blog about how much they wish their girlfriend was this and that. Contradicting much?

Their blog goes abit like this:

" I love you so much and i know everything is my fault. I suck. I'm a loser. Im a dick. I deserve to be hated by you and your friends because im a jerk. I don't know why but the moment you told me you wanted to go out with your friends to watch a movie my heart just sank. I thought WE were suppose to spend time together. But its ok. You wont understand. Nobody will understand me. Argh...what is wrong with me? I hate myself for thinking like this. I want to tell you how i feel but all i can do is smile. A fake smile. Because if i tell you how i feel you will get angry at me again and i don't want that to happen.I love you Melissa . Its just me. Im a dickhead. So sorry."

Annoying or not? Its a paragraph from the blog except i change it abit or else it will take quite abit of effort to understand what he is saying due to his Ah beng english. Plus the girl's name isn't Melissa.

As you can see, he gets overly sensitive over the slightest issue ! She just want to go watch a movie with her friends for crying out loud. Seriously what is so wrong with that ? If i was dating this guy i would really have clawed the bejesus out of him .

Well this isnt the only baffling issue, another major one would be he cries when she goes to school or hang out with her friends.He even cries when she sits with another guy! Crazy to the max.

Seriously Bro? How can a person get so clingy. I seriously feel so bad for the girlfriend because i can totally understand what she is going through. I used to date this really sensitive boy ( I was his first somemore so he was extra sensitive back than) and he nearly drown me with his tears and suffocate me with his arguments about how insensitive i am. Literally.

It really felt as if i was suddenly place in one those annoying Korean dramas. Don't get me wrong, i love Korean dramas but being in one really takes up alot of energy. This anamnesis still send shivers down my spine.

Can you imagine being in a situation where your boyfriend will find every small reason to get upset over and when you ask him what is the matter because you are concern , he continues to look sad and said nothing is wrong. First of all, it is super ultra annoying and the worst thing is he will confide his issues with a bunch of girls; in front of me. After that ill start hearing snide remarks about me behind my back by this bunch of kepo busybody girls and the worst thing is they only hear one side of the story and started asumming everything is my fault. I hope a pack of menstruate possum attacks all of your stupid faces!

That really was the worst year of my life. He used to be so charming and cute which totally blinded me by the psychotic monstrosity lurking behind that charming facade.

After 2 weeks of dating, small signs of his craziness started showing.He gets so upset at me if i don't reply his text within 5 minutes. We argue for hours because im hot tempered by nature and i really dislike people yelling at me for no reason. Getting upset because i don't reply in 5 minutes is not a reason.

He always starts a fight and he ends up crying. I have never ever met a guy who cries so much. I remember telling him beforehand ill be watching my favorite show now ( Supernatural) so i might reply slower. It is so NORMAl to be totally engross in your favorite tv program and totally forgetting you were texting someone. Apparently telling him beforehand was pointless because after not replying him within 20 minutes he got so agitated and upset that by the time i check my phone i had 10++ angry unread texts awaits me.

He started accusing me of cheating on him with another guy because i did not reply him within 5 minutes and heaps of other ugly things that i don't wish to remember. It was so ridiculous. Lao Niang stay at home and watch Supernatural also can get accuse of cheating. Cheat on who??? With my goldfish and dog isit? WTF. Anyway, we argued for the next 3 to 4 hours of our life's.

Heaps of crazy inane arguments follow after for the next 3 months. I would get yelled at if i sat with another guy or talk with another guy, apparently i had to ditch all my guy friends if i wanted to date him. I even had to block all my other friends when im chatting to him on msn!

3 months of hell was all i could take because dating a melancholic person is super depressing and is bringing my mood down . He gives in and say sorry back all the time but im approaching my limits and my frustration level is seriously at its peak. An example of how frustrated i am would be imagining yourself playing a game of angry birds and after the 100th tries, you still cannot hit that one stupid green pig. What do you do after that? You turn off your ipad/iphone and walk away. Far far away from that game. Well, i thought everything was over after i walk away from the relationship but i was dead wrong. I was wrong because apparently if you still want to remain as friends it means you are giving him another chance.

This is all my fault. I would love to blame it on my soft fragile and sensitive side. I'm the kind where i wish we would still remain as friends even if things did not happen to go as plan. But he didn't get the idea so in the end i really had to end it in the most cruel possible way.That is if you consider avoiding and constantly telling him its over cruel. Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. So for the next 5 months there were alot of stalking and tears involved. I cry because of frustration and anger and he cry because of sadness. Think Korean drama and you will understand what ive been through.

Anyway, enough of me and back to the main topic of this post. I still don't understand why would any girl want to date a guy like that. He would drive me up the wall! Even i don't understand what drove me to say yes when my overly sensitive ex ask me to be his gf. Maybe it was because he really understands how a girl feels and he actually listens to you. He is a really sweet person and cares about you 24/7 but when the unhappy scale starts tipping more than the happy scale, that's when you know it is time to quit.

The other blog i came across with is even more psychotic than the first. He contradict himself so much in his posts that i nearly punch him through my screen. He keeps feeling so sorry for himself about everything. Be it good or bad. If his girlfriends plans a surprise birthday party for him, he blogs about how he isn't good enough for her. If she plans to go on a family trip and he isn't invited, he blogs about how he is an outsider and his girlfriend's family hates him. Its a freaking family trip OMG, not like she is heading to a male stripper club with a bunch of wild girlfriends.What a sad sad sadistic soul. I am still at awe and amazed at how his girlfriend is able to tolerate and stay with a person like him. They would make a nice couple for my sister to experiment on when she gets that psychology degree.

Anyway, i know this is a sad entry to end my 2011 but i find that i had to blog about it and let my readers know. Please, don't ever let anyone bring you down especially your significant other. Sadistic boys like this need a partner to be with them 24/7....not a girlfriend and certainly not a wife who is opinionated and has friends. Trust me, happiness will not follow after if you are dating a person like this unless you are that kind of girl who has no friends, no hobbies, no work, no family and don't mind spending every second of your life with him.

The one day where everybody near and far ( kinda same as chinese new year for me except instead of ang pao we give presents) all gather together and have one huge christmasy feast!

I love Christmas. The decoration,the Christmas songs, the presents and especially the people. It is the time of the year where everybody seem more jollier , kinder and giving.The warm smiles and hugs , the gormandizing Christmas food,the open affection from family and friends is what i love about Christmas. It is also the time of the year where we all realize the importance and joy each family member gives one another. We learn to appreciate what we have now and not dwell on the past misfortunes.

Today was definitely one of my best nights. Dad and the Sis flew in this morning, wonderful dinner with the family and close friends....seriously what more could i ask for. I do feel bless.

What i think?

As usual, Face Q never seem to surprise me. my skin feels so rejuvenated after a good 15 to 20 minutes. My dry sunburn skin on my nose has completely heal and i have this mask to thank for. It smells great (Quite perfume-mi) and the mask sheets are soft on the skin as usual. Did not have breakouts after use.

Pros:

Rejuvenate dull and dry skin
Really hydrates the skin

Cons:

Smells good but abit too perfume-mi for me

Conclusion:

ill rate this a 8 out of 10. Overall a very good mask and would highly recommend to anybody who wants a good mask that hydrates the face.

What i think?

I love this mask. It does whiten my skin but the effects are very minimal ,however it really does moisturizes my skin. It has a really lovely smell as well and after using this for more than 3 times, my skin seem to be so much softer.

Cons:

Whitening effect not obvious

Ill rate this a 7.5 out of 10.Will definitely recommend this to anybody who wants a mask that hydrates the face.

Love Dress

A woman stopped by unannounced at her recently married son's house.

She rang the doorbell and walked in. She was shocked to see her daughter-in-law lying on the couch, totally naked.

Soft music was playing; the aroma of perfume filled the room.

"What are you doing?" she asked. "I'm waiting for my husband to come home from work," the daughter-in-law answered.

"But you're naked!" the mother-in-law exclaimed.

Fishing Trip

The wife thinks this sounds a little fishy but being a good wife she does exactly what her husband asked.

The following weekend he comes home a little tired but otherwise looking good.

The wife welcomes him home and asks if he caught many fish?

He says, "Yes! lots of Walleye, some Bluegill, and a few Pike. But why didn't you pack my new blue silk pajamas like I asked you to do?"

The wife replies, "I did, they were in your tackle box!"

I dont like CHANGES.

Life is moving like a bullet train right now and i cant keep up. People leaving,Jobs constantly rummaging through my head, money money and more money.

So much stress and pressure from everybody who is constantly asking me "WHAT are you doing now? " What am i doing? Working. Not one those fancy job that everyone expects me to do but at least im working.

Its raining so heavily outside right now and im at home being depress.

Woke up with a depressing text today. I was really hurt and started tearing because my previous post really hurt my bff. I feel guilty for not thinking twice and started pouring my feelings on my blog. But what is done is done. Life move on and i hope its for the better.

According to my previous post, i wasn't talking about you. There is no way i could have had coffee or desserts with you interstate. You were and still are my bff and im sorry if they were any misunderstanding and i hurt you . I know you include me for EVERYTHING and i do to. We both tell each other everything because we are sisters just like that. It's just that everything is changing so quick its still difficult to comprehend.

Long distance relationship does suck, there will be times i feel as if im not that important anymore because i use to be there for you for literally everything. Food,clothes, books,movies ,clubs etc Sometimes i do wish i was in Kl again where it was just us again.

Random feeling

Feeling so god damn stupid right now. Why must i be made so soft and sensitive???

It is so weird to get emotional over something like this. This feeling of abandonment is so overwhelming that i started tearing up involuntarily.

This is why i hate facebook. Facebook is a place where i stalk people.I stalk my friends, friends new bf/gf or popular people. But that does not mean i like whatever i find on facebook.

When i see pictures of a group of friend i know hanging out in a coffee shop or in a karaoke bar i sometimes do get really upset.Inevitable inane questions such as "Why wasnt i invited? I thought we were starting to be pretty good friends?" starts going through my mind. Sometimes even replies from facebook can upset me. haha For example if a friend replies somebody else and not you. There must be a sensitive switch i can switch off in my brain because its rather torturing when you get upset over small issues like so.

Another thing that i hate about facebook are the constant pictures flooding my wall reminding me that i have been "replace". When your bff has a new bff....well, that feeling just isnt fun.

I could go on and on but it is pretty private so im not going to blurt everything on a public blog. Im just going to dwell in my misery with a cup of hot chocolate while watching South Park. Yes.That could cheer me up.

There is only one reason why i could ever feel this way and that would be the lack of close friends i have around me now. I need new friends pronto or else this blog will continue to be a depressing one.

Friends come and go

I am starting to feel really depress. All my good friends will be heading back to Malaysia for good. The thought of being alone next year is already bringing tears to my eyes. I need new friends or maybe a new hobby.

They all say the same thing. "You have your family and boyfriend here" But what they don't understand is...it will never be the same without them. Who is going to be there to hear me rant about life or have a random dessert at midnight just because we felt like it. It isn't the same even though i know all my friends are just a phone call away.

No more random Sheesha session, no more crazy Karaoke, no more drinking sessions....brain is slowly drifting into limbo stage because this forthcoming boring future is so depressing.

Friends come and go.Even those who used to be close to you can one day leave you. Its just so disappointing that im now back at that horrible phase where all the people i love is leaving me and the ones that im not that close to are the ones that stay.

It is not easy to find somehow who understands you and most importantly love you for who you are. Maybe im just sensitive and emotional. Who knows.But i treasure all my friendship with people who care.

Im no longer that person who use to treasure EVERY friendship that came my way. I use to be so naive thinking people will treat you equally well if you treat them well. People will only take advantage of you because people do that, they tend to forget how to appreciate.

Some of the things i do for a friend can seem ridiculous for a few. Now at the age of 21, i do find it ridiculous. What is the point of being nice to someone when they never intend to be nice at the first place. You can give them super expensive presents (i give expensive presents to really good friends, haha sometimes presents do show how much you're worth in a person's eye) but they only buy you back a cheapy gift set from Target or you can travel half across the nation to see them just to know you have been replace by someone else and that someone else tags along in everything that was meant to be just for the two of you.

But i have had friends who stuck up for me when i was getting bullied by bitches back than in highschool (Freshman year sucks!) , surprise birthday parties (even when my parents had forgotten my birthday) and cook soup when im sick etc
These are the friends i miss the most.

WHY MUST ALL OF YOU GO BACK TO MALAYSIA!!!!

Good friends are not define by the hours you spend with each other but that feeling you get when you see each other after such a long time or hear each others voices again. That instant catch up, that continuous nodding because you agree with everything he/she says and especially the tears coming out from your eyes because you've laugh so hard every inch of your body hurts.

I guess the only thing in a friendship that i cannot handle is:

Being betrayed by someone you trust
Be replace by someone else

This is life. So how many of you have had or still are in a Long distance relationship with your bestfriends?

Customers are NOT always right

What i hate the most is getting scolded for no reason. A valid reason for them but a total nonsensical reason for me.

Everybody should know i have a part-time job as a retail assistant now but what happen last Friday really pisses me off.

Actually this rant is not really about what the customer did but more of my boss and my colleague. Sometimes i really do feel as if they find the need to put all the blame on me.Like all the time.

SO anyway, ill start off by asking a question.

Lets say you're a sales assistance for a moment and a customer walks in to the shop. So normally you would do the usual by asking them if they needed any assistance and if they said yes ; you recommend them stuff and if they said no ; you back off abit and wait to see if they needed any help. As for me i don't follow my customers around the shop.I hate being followed when i go shopping so i understand how it feels. Now, what if this particular customer just pass you a certain product and tell you that this is all she want for the day? Do you :

Smile , take the product and cash in. OR
Take the product and ask her multiple times if she is certain she really wanted that product.

If any of you pick number 2 than you are a freak and i hope you never ever work as a sales assistant.

Anyway, i pick number one and i even ask around and found out majority of my friends pick number 1 as well because that is the most logical thing to do.

Now the ranting begins. *Breathes in and breathes out*

SO, my story continues to where i am waiting for this customer to pay me. Than, at that particular moment the customer decided to praise the product by saying she tried the sample for the "First Product" and it was really good.

I was confuse.Very confuse. Confuse because this so call make up remover that she is buying does not come with a sample. As in we do not have a sample for it.

So i kindly responded by stating that this particular product has no sample and proceed by asking her what does "First Product" means. She looked so shock when i told her there isnt a sample for it and begun to defend herself by saying there is a sample for the "First Product" because the "last time" she came ,somebody did gave her one.

WTF is FIRST PRODUCT???????? Maybe there was a different packaging for it before i started working? i dont know.

Anyway, at that precise moment one of my colleague came to the counter and heard about our little argument over the samples. So i explain to her that the customer insist she had ued a sample given by one of our girls a few months ago and it was definitely that "make-up remover".

Thus my collegue being a year senior than me was more confident and assure the customer that a sample for that make-up remover never existed. So they started arguing bla bla bla...and in the end she took out another sample ( Foam cleanser but from the same range as the make-up remover) and guess what? This so call "First product " of hers was actually a foam cleanser and not a make-up remover. *insert chain of profanities*

When we found out what sample she was talking about my collegue look at me with this really shock and angry look. Wth? What did i do?

After all this drama the customer realise she wanted to exchange the product and even apologise to me for all the trouble i had to go through which i think is really nice of her. Why am i so angry? Because i was given the "angry glaring look" from the boss after my collegue explain what the drama was all about to her in Korean which i do not understand. After that i had a good 20minute lecture/debate about how it was my fault for not explaining to the customer properly and i could have jeaopordise the reputation of the shop. $$%^^&*^% Excuse me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How is any of this my fault?????

I even ask her nicely if she was looking for a make-up remover and she said YES. Before i could open my mouth to recommend something to her she had already proceed to shove that particular make-up remover to my face telling me she wanted it. For god sake im not born psychic, i wouldn't have been able to read her mind or look at her past and realise it was a different product she had took compared to the sample she was given.

Seriously in Super Saiyan mode when she kept saying it was MY fault for not asking properly and customer IS always right. I have the right to defend myself and after looking at this situation from so many different angles i honestly still cannot seem to understand how any of this is my fault.

Argh.....why is the world filled with weird people. For example, i was walking with my cousin in China town yesterday and i couldn't finish my bubble tea so i threw it in the bin which was right next to me. Right after i threw my bubbletea ,a bogun came right up behind me and yell at me for wasting money. He kept yelling at me and said instead of throwing it away i could have given it to him because he could hav drank it for me. He also kept going on and on about how i waste money and Asians waste money...like shut the fuck up already, nobody cares. Wtfreak! First of all, i had no idea you were behind me and why on earth would anybody want some stranger's drink??? You see!!!! I always get yell at for no valid reason.

So i told the bogun he could have it if he wants, its still in the trash can. Plus i also said i have aids if that is ok for him.

Seriously la! Its my money and i can use it however i like. Omg, i cant believe i even need to explain to somebody on how i use my hard earn money. I didn't like the flavour i pick so i threw it away. I threw away MY money not my parents money for god sake.

Perm Hair

I perm my hair today! And i hate it. lol

Super maggie mee goreng looking la. Walau...i ask for long loose big curls and end up this is what i get. How is this big loose curls??? Plus i told her to trim my split ends not chop off more than an inch of my hair. Now i have short curly hair which is something that i seriously dislike!

I was suppose to accompany my cousin for a simple haircut today and end up perming because i have never perm my hair before and the korean hairdresser tempt me with this book of gorgeous girls with gorgeous wavy hair. Plus i have long hair so i ASSUME i would look like the girls in the picture. But NO~~~~ I have to END up with maggie mee hair.

ANNOYING MAXIMUM!

My siblings all say i look damn funny. Sis laugh and say i look so strange and bro said my face look so fat now. Great...i spend my whole week savings to damage my hair and look like an aunty.

However the hairdresser did say after a couple of washes my curls will loosen up and ill have the hairstyle that i pick from the book. I seriously doubt that.My hair looks like an uncombed mane that needs deep conditioning. Even Dumbledore's beard looks better than my hair now.

Ill try to like my new hairstyle. MAYBE im not used to it. But no compliments so far which could only mean one thing: I look horrendous.

Owh hair~ Please grow quicker so i can have nice long loose curls like those pretty korean models.

First of all....

Results came out yesterday and i can proudly say i am now an official Bachelor of Corporate Finance and Accounting major graduate!!!!

IM SOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

The euphoric feeling of knowing i pass everything with unexpected results is just amazing!!! I have the urge to hug everyone for free now. Yes,i charge people for hugs.

It feels as if a huge weight have been lifted off my shoulders and all my horrible nightmares of failing are finally put to rest.

I REALLY did clap like a retard when i saw my results. I also jump around the house screaming with joy. I even dance with my dog.

Other than that, i also have TWO part time job now as a retail assistant and a waitress. The funny thing is i love working. I have two jobs now and im still looking for more because of the lack of hours they can provide me. SO if there is any vacancies out there (preferbaly something to do with accounting and finance) please let me know. Arrigato Gozaimasu.

Life seem to be looking good at the moment but without a full time permanent job i guess im still not totally set for the future yet. Im still working really hard to pursue my dream job which would be..dont laugh k? Is to owned an online fashion boutique. The only problem is i have not found a supplier that i could trust and would supply me with apparels that i like yet. Which is the MAIN source of the business. Plus i would really really love to do this with someone of the same passion and of course someone with the same taste in fashion as me. It would be so much more fun to do something like this with someone else you could trust and it would also be more assuring to know that there is always your partner to even out any problems that would likely occur in every business .

Well, a dream is a dream and i do reckon it is a reasonable one. We will see how it goes.

This is another peeling scrub from the "Peeling Day" series. There is a total of three (Water in Pomegranate, White Jewel, Honey Black Sugar) and i personally prefer the white Jewel one among the three. This one actually has more abrasive beads so it physically exfoliates as well unlike the other two which does not really exfoliate( more of a rubbing and peeling action) and personally i find them to be more sticky as well.

What I think?

I love this product! It really does whiten the skin. I tried it on the boyfriend and the brother (because they are darker than me) and i swear its magic because its so obvious that the part where i applied the product is so much fairer compared to rest of the skin where i did not exfoliate with this product.

Im naturally fair so the results were minimal on my face, almost not visible but i love it because i realize my acne scars were fading after each application. I also read reviews that people started getting breakouts after using this but i have been using this for 2 weeks now and im happy to say i have not has a single breakout. My skin is dry but oily on the forehead ( skin can get very flaky in the winter) and sensitive.

I would definitely recommend and purchase this again. But definitely NOT buying in Australia anymore. Just found out Yesstlye is selling it for $18 and an ebay seller is selling for less than that!

Clear greenish blue cream

For people who do not know what a sleeping mask is , it is actually a mask where you just leave it on the entire night while you sleep and only wash it off the next morning. So for lazy people like me, this is an amazing product! I dont need to lie on my bed with a mask on while forcing myself not to doze off because bad things happen when you leave a mask on for too long. I had bad skin rashes once when i left my face mask on for nearly an hour because i actually fell asleep. LOL

The cream glides on the skin smoothly and it has a really nice water based texture.

What i think?

I love it ! It really does what it states. It doesn't have any weird odor and i love waking up to baby smooth skin after applying it the night before. At first i was pretty reluctant to get this because i really dislike any cream product in a bottle where i have to re-dip my fingers into due to hygiene purposes. Thank god it came with a spatula. Anyway, Laneige is a pretty popular brand in Korea and this happens to be on of Korea's most popular sleeping mask as well. I would highly recommend this to anybody who has dry skin because the hydrating effect is amazing. Plus i have really sensitive skin so it would be good for people with sensitive skin as well.

Really HYDRATES the face

For the price i think its worth it consider it is a pretty big bottle

Ill rate this a 8 out of 10. However, because of the price i would say the Pomegranate sleeping mask i got from Kuching Malaysia is sufficient for me. Unfortunately for me i wont be going back anytime soon so that is a huge bummer.

What it claims?

I love the packaging!

There are two ends to this eyeliner. And this end is sort of a liner "eraser".

It erases any smudges or any mistakes during eye-lining which i find very convenient.

But after trying out the eyeliner , i actually had to put quite abit of pressure on to the eyeliner in order for the colour to come out. And....

The freaking TIP BROKE!!!

What the freak! The saddest thing is i only rotate a tad bit of it out and it broke off completely.

That's like $2 down the drain at a snap of my finger.

So disappointing. Guess i have to be more careful the next time im using it.

What i think?

I dont like it. At all. Yeah yeah it has a triangular tip which should make it easy to switch from thin to thick line but it is not easy to use ! It took me longer than usual to get a neat thin line and i really don't mind colouring in if i want a thicker line. I would definitely say this eyeliner would be good if i want a quick smoky dark eyeshadow looking effect because the thicker part of the eyeliner smudges out pretty well. In terms of waterproof, it really isnt that water resistant at all. I had to add eye drops into my eyes because my contacts were getting dry and it smudges off the moment i pat my eye gently with a tissue.

Pros:

Pretty packaging (not really a strong point when choosing an eyeliner)
Does not give panda eyes
Has the liner eraser thing
Dark pigmented colour which is good

Cons:

Not really water resistant
Liner broke off after first used
Difficult to use (maybe im not use to it though)

What i think?
Ill rate it a 6 out of 10.
Nothing about this mascara actually "wow-ed" me. To me it is just another average mascara . It barely lengthens my eyelashes nor volume-nise it as it state it is suppose to. What i like about it is it is a really dry mascara which is perfect for my long thin Asian eyelashes.

Pros:

Pretty packaging
Interesting mascara brush that really doesnt clump my eyelashes
Curls my eyelashes without the need of using an eyelash curler (not alot of mascara can hold my eyelashes)

Cons:

Barely volume-mise my eyelashes nor lengthen
Expensive for what it's worth

Results for eyeliner and mascara:

The eyeliner look exactly the same as any ordinary eye pencil. Maybe ill post up more pictures of myself with different eyeliner effects once i get the hang of it.

Mascara did not clump my eyelashes and curls them as well. ( Did not use an eyelash curler to curl my eyelash. I have straight Asian eyelash that goes down)

I look as if i have no make up on. So i guess i can conclude the eyeliner and the mascara are pretty average and if anybody wanted an everyday natural looking mascara, i would say the Fairy Drop volume Burst mascara is perfect.

I do like the mascara brush because it really does not clump up my lashes and its super easy to apply unlike some mascara where i have to apply heaps of coating before i get to see any results.

It is 2am now and im so fatigue at this point. Talk about dedication. Anyway, i shall blog more tomorrow after work. Night peeps!
