JetBlue Plans to Start London Flights from New York and Boston by 2021

JetBlue Airways Corp announced on April 11 (Thursday) that it plans to join the competitive area of the airline business market between US and Europe from 2021 with a modified version of its premium cabins.

The announcement was first made to the JetBlue employees on Wednesday evening, which was repeated in London on Thursday morning. The plan to accommodate all kinds of travelers by cutting down on the extremely high-priced business class tickets of the airline and providing travelers with an option which is both cheaper and posh mint has been reportedly cooking for a few months, if rumors were to be believed. The CEO of JetBlue Airline, Robin Hayes was planning these changes for months apparently.

To start with, the airline will conduct services from JFK International Airport in NYC and Logan International Airport in Boston to London, though the airport in London hasn’t been specified yet.

The Transatlantic-jump is a gamble in the eyes of the airline company which it is ready to take. Supreme Court rejects plea to block 'Padmavati' release

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a plea seeking to block the release of controversial film "Padmavati", saying that it is "premature" as the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has yet to decide and any interference at this stage would amount to "pre-judging the matter".

The bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice A.M. Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud said this after it was told that the CBFC has yet to clear the film.

"'Padmavati' has not yet received certification from CBFC. In view of this, our interference will be tantamount to pre-judging the matter. We don't intend to do so," the court said in its order, rejecting the plea to block the release of the movie.

"Needless to say that the pleadings are premature," the bench said, adding that CBFC was a statutory body and the court could not injunct it from doing its duty of certifying the film.

It is only after the CBFC has taken a decision, that the petition could be moved questioning it, said the bench, making it clear that the stage for knocking the door of the top court has not yet arrived.

The court order came on a plea by advocate M.L. Sharma, seeking to block the release of the film till objectionable scenes were deleted. He also sought institution of a criminal case against filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for portraying queen Padmavati as a "dancer" in the film.

Earlier too the top court had declined a plea seeking to block the release of "Padmavati" saying that it was premature as CBFC has yet to take a call on it.

Brushing aside the plea on Monday, the court said that people were repeatedly approaching the court because they do not read the Cinematography Act.

As senior counsel Harish Salve appearing for the filmmaker told the court that the film was yet to be cleared by the Censor Board, Sharma asked then how were its promos, including the songs, being shown.

As Salve said that only promos were being shown, Sharma asked how were the songs of "Padmavati" released which have not been approved.

"Padmavati" is mired in controversy over conjectures that it "distorts facts" about Rajput queen Padmavati.

Even as top court declined to entertain the plea seeking to block the release of the film, it deleted some of the paragraphs from the petition by Sharma observing "Pleadings in the court are not meant to create any disharmony in the society which believes in conceptual unity in diversity".

To Sharma saying that Bansali should be hauled up for defamation for his "character assassination" of Padmavati by showing her as a "dancer", the court asked him to read the provisions of the IPC.

When Sharma became a bit rhetorical in his submissions, court curtly told him, "Mr. Sharma no speeches."

Germany defender Jerome Boateng will miss the international football match against England, the German Football Association (DFB) said in a statement.

The 29-year-old Bayern Munich centre back will be ruled out for the upcoming international cap against England on Friday, as he is suffering from muscular problems, reports Xinhua news agency.

According to the statement, Boateng's break is just a "precautionary measure". The 68-time Germany international will stay with the team and undergo regenerative measures.

However, it is also questionable if Boateng will recover until the last international cap of the year against France in Cologne on November 14.

Trivikram’s films are awaited with beated breadth and the latest one that the talented director unleashes this week is A..Aa. Starring Nithin and Samantha as the main leads, this film has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

Story:-
Anasuya(Samantha) is the only daughter of Naresh and Nadhiya. Her life is dominated by her mother who in turns fixes her marriage with a rich guy. As expected, Anasuya doesn’t like this and on the suggestion of her father leaves to her aunts house to spend some free time.

This is the time where she meets Anand(Nithin) and falls in love with him. Twist in the tale arises when Anand is forced to get married to Naga Valli(Anupama Parameswaran) because of his personal problems.

Rest of the story is as to how Anasuya deals with her angry mother and sidelines Nagavalli to win her love for Anand.

Plus(+) Points:-

One of the biggest advantages of A..Aa is the clean nature of the film. Trivirkam once again manages to weave his magic and executes a beautiful family drama. There are so many feel good moments which will keep you engrossed with the proceedings. A..Aa is Nithin’s career best performance and he impresses big time. He plays a subtle character and not once does he goes overboard in his role. His performance in the climax and his chemistry with Samantha is just so endearing.

Samantha dominates the proceedings big time. She is the heart and soul of the film as the story moves from her angle. Right from her simple expressions to her helpless nature in front of her mother, she plays the role with aplomb. Samantha lights up the screen as Anasuya and you can see a new angle in her performance.

First half of the film is very entertaining and has some beautiful songs. Anupama Parameswaran makes a decent debut and her jealousy angle with Samantha is showcased supremely well. One cannot ignore Rao Ramesh’s performance in the film. Probably, he is the best actor around doing supporting roles and his performance during the climax is hilarious.

Trivikram gives a mature role to Naresh who is also turning out to be a super character artist. His chemistry with Samantha and the way he holds the film in many areas is very good. Music is yet another asset of the film as all the songs have been shot extremely well.

Minus Points:-

Second half of the film wanders a bit here and there. The mood of the film gets lost after a point and the proceedings get a bit slow. Story of the film is quite normal and does not have anything much interesting.

Length of the film is a bit high and there are scenes which can be trimmed to make the impact even better. Pace of the film is a tad slow and certain scenes featuring the marriage proposal and Samantha wooing Jabardasth Chandra should have been edited out.

Technical Aspects:-

A..Aa has some breath taking visuals. The camera work is top notch and is one of the highlights of the film. The way a simple love story is showcased with these visuals makes this film look even more rich. Production values are top notch and Trivikram makes use of the village locations to the fullest.
Screenplay is apt and does not deviate much.

As expected, dialogues are quite meaningful and create the right impact. Coming to the director Trivikram, A..Aa is completely his magic on celluloid. The way he narrates a simple love story with a gripping narration and enough fun is what makes things work here.

Verdict:-

As expected, Trivikram once again proves that he is magician of his craft with A..A. The way he has narrated this breezy family drama with some lovable and entertaining elements are major assets. This is a film which will do exceptionally well with the family and overseas audience as the lead pair ensure that things fall in right place. If you ignore the predictable story line, you can take your entire family and watch the magic of Trivikram Srinivas in this feel good family entertainer. Recommended.

Krishi Kalyan Cess on services from 01-Jun-2016

Telephone and restaurant bills, airline tickets and visits to beauty parlours will turn dearer from June 1, when the 0.5 per cent Krishi Kalyan Cess (KKC) kicks in.

It will apply to all taxable services, and CENVAT (central value added tax) credit will be available to service providers on the cess paid on input services, the Finance Ministry has said. However, the input credit on the Krishi Kalyan Cess can only be used for discharge of the KKC liability.
Manufacturing units will be affected as they will not be able to set off the cess paid on input services utilised by them, R Muralidharan, Senior Director, Deloitte in India, told BusinessLine, adding that these units will have to absorb the added cost or pass it on to their customers. He also said the KKC levy could be inflationary for all business-to-consumer transactions.

“For all practical purposes, the service tax rate will now be 15 per cent from June 1,” Muralidharan said. Currently, service tax is pegged at 14 per cent and there is a Swachh Bharat cess of 0.5 per cent.

The Krishi Kalyan Cess is not leviable on the component of service tax but the value of service, as in the case of the Swachh Bharat Cess. However, there is still uncertainty over the applicability of the Krishi Kalyan Cess in respect of services availed before June 1, and for which payment will be received after this date.

Amit Singhania, Partner, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, a law firm, said extension of Rule 5 of Point of Taxation Rules to KKC has led to an “unequitable” situation.

The Krishi Kalyan Cess would be payable even in cases where a service has been rendered and invoice has been issued prior to June 1, but the payment is made after this date, he said.

In other words, invoices for a service that has not yet been paid for would now retrospectively attract the Krishi Kalyan Cess. This would typically impact all industries, especially banking, credit card and telecommunications companies where the invoices are typically paid later, Singhania said.

Since the service provider in all cases would want to recover this additional burden from customers, this would lead to the retrospective taxation of customers, he added.

Meanwhile, the Finance Ministry has made it clear that the Krishi Kalyan Cess will not be levied on services in the negative list. India follows a negative list system of service taxation where around 17 categories are listed. Besides the negative list, the Centre has also specified 47 exempted services.

Unlike other top directors who have done movies with relatively small heroes at one point or the other Trivikram Srinivas made his debut as director with a well known actor of those times Tarun on a big banner like Sravanthi Movies.
He then followed it up with movies featuring top stars like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun. It is literally after more than a decade that the director is coming with a movie featuring a lower rung star like Nithiin.

This is therefore seen as an opportunity to test the pulling capacity of director Trivikram Srinivas. In the past top directors like VV Vinayak, SS Rajamouli and Boyapati Sreenu have pulled off such feats.

BJP’s decision to benefit TDP?

BJP high command is planning to nominate Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh through TDP quota. However the anti-TDP and anti-Naidu group in BJP are not at all happy with this decision of the high command and see that benefiting TDP.

Center is in favor of giving Railway Zone to AP and are planning to announce it just before the GVMC elections.

BJP State Unit is keen on having that as their own achievement. But TDP nominating Suresh Prabhu will give them a chance that they have traded a Rajya Sabha seat for the Special Railway Zone and that achievement may go in to TDP’s account.

BJP State Leaders reportedly tried to get in touch with Amit Shah with this concern. But it is learnt that the decision is almost taken and Suresh Prabhu will be filing his nomination on Tuesday. BJP State leaders want AP nomination to be changed.

They asked Ram Madhav to be fielded in TDP quota but Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu confirmed to Amit Shah that his party can not nominate Ram Madhav who is trying to break TDP-BJP alliance always.

Sunrisers' eight-run victory on Sunday (May 29) happened to the second lowest in terms of margin of runs in an IPL final after the six-run difference between the finalists in 2009.
The final featured the top-three run-getters and wicket-takers of the tournament and aptly it was the better bowling side which came out on top. Also, the two best captains of the tournament went head-to-head and continued their excellent run with the bat, although Virat Kohli's efforts were overshadowed by David Warner. - David Warner and Chris Gayle scored the joint fastest and joint second-fastest fifty in an IPL final, off 24 and 25 balls respectively. Suresh Raina's fifty off 24 balls against Mumbai Indians in 2010 and Rohit Sharma's 25-ball half-century against Chennai Super Kings in 2015 are the others.

- Warner has now scored seven fifties in as many innings for Sunrisers against Royal Challengers. His scores against them read 61, 59, 57, 52*, 58, 92 and 69. His seven fifty-plus scores are the second most for a player against a team in the IPL after Gayle's eight against Kings XI Punjab, which includes two hundreds as well.

- Warner's 69 is the highest individual score by a captain in an IPL final, eclipsing MS Dhoni's 63 not out against Mumbai Indians in 2013.

- 208 for seven is the highest total for a team in an IPL final, overtaking Chennai Super Kings' 205 for five against the same opposition in Chennai in 2011.

- 61 runs conceded by Shane Watson is the most by a bowler in an IPL final. 54 runs conceded by Karanveer Singh against Knight Riders in 2014 was the previous highest. Overall it is the seventh most expensive figures in the IPL and second most by an overseas player after Michael Neser's 62.

- Watson has conceded more than 20 runs in an over thrice in this IPL - the most by any.

- Chris Gayle, when on 10, became the first player to reach 9000 runs in 20-over cricket. He took 249 innings to achieve in the landmark. He is 2068 runs ahead of the next placed Brad Hodge (6998 runs). In the process he also became the first player to hit 250 sixes in IPL.

- Royal Challengers reached 100 runs in just 8.6 overs - the second fastest team hundred in this IPL after 8.5 overs by the same team against Kings XI Punjab in Bengaluru.

- Today's was the first occasion of both captains scoring half-centuries in an IPL final - Warner scored 69 and Kohli 54. In the eight previous finals there were just two instances of captains scoring half-centuries.

- The spinners from Sunrisers took just six wickets in the entire season, the fewest spinners from a team have taken in a season in IPL history. The previous lowest was eight each in the 2008 edition by spinners from Royal Challengers and Knight Riders.

- Ben Cutting (39* & 2/35) became the third player to score 30 plus and take two or more wickets in an IPL final after Yusuf Pathan (56 & 3/22 in 2008) and Andrew Symmonds (33 & 2/18 in 2009).

- Cutting became the second foreign player to win Man of the Match award in an IPL final after Kieron Pollard in 2013.

- Royal Challengers have now lost three IPL finals, one behind Super Kings' four. Kohli is the only player to feature in all three final losses and it is the most by any non-CSK player.

- Since the introduction of the Play-Offs, it was the first time a team outside the top two went on to win the IPL. In all the five editions prior to this it was the second-placed team in the league stage that ended up winning the silverware.

Perseverant Sunrisers Hyderabad clinch maiden IPL title

Despite a jaw-dropping batting effort from Chris Gayle and another half-century from Virat Kohli that helped him finish the season with a tally of 973 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad expertly held their nerves to eke out an eight-run victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore in front of their home fans at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore and to win their maiden Indian Premier League title.

David Warner's attack-minded move to put the runs on the board in a big encounter paid off handsomely as Sunrisers posted a mammoth 208 for 7. Warner laid a strong foundation with his ninth half-century of the season, before Yuvraj Singh held the middle-order together with a vital contribution. Ben Cutting gave the team the much-needed flourish towards the end of the innings that took Sunrisers to an above-par total on a batting-friendly track.

Kohli unleashed his captaincy quirks early once again, starting the proceedings with a deep point for Warner and a deep square leg for Dhawan. With two left handers in the middle, the Royal Challengers skipper couldn't turn to Iqbal Abdulla, his left-arm spinner, early. He brought in Chris Gayle instead, who put down a tough chance off Dhawan in his first over. Kohli's field placements in the powerplay overs didn't bear the sort of fruits he would have hoped for as his bowlers erred in length, allowing the Sunrisers duo to get off the blocks swiftly. Shane Watson started too full without any protection down the ground and the Sunrisers openers made him pay for it, smashing a straight six each. Gayle too couldn't quite bowl to his field as Sunrisers raced away to 59 for no wicket in 6 overs.

Yuzvendra Chahal, Royal Challengers' most successful bowler of the season, managed to break the menacing partnership, using a googly to fox Dhawan, whose urge to sweep the ball led to his downfall. Warner continued to swing his willow at every inch of width offered to him, bringing up his ninth fifty of the season, off just 24 deliveries. Chris Jordan arrived and offered more width on a platter, letting a free-scoring Warner add to his tally of boundaries. The England pacer benefitted from a change of strike as Moises Henriques skied a length delivery on the leg side to give Royal Challengers a lucky break at the half-way stage.

Yuvraj Singh ensured a brief time-travel to the past as he began with a sublime cover drive off Watson, usually associated with a much leaner and meaner Yuvraj of the early 2000s. Jordan helped the southpaw add to the narrative by offering two hit-me deliveries down the leg, which Yuvraj flicked away elegantly for a four and a six. Even the Royal Challengers fans found a reason to stop and applaud an opponent.

Aravind's return to the attack gave the packed crowd a bigger reason to cheer, as Warner's attempted cut shot was caught by Iqbal Abdulla at short third man, leaving the Sunrisers in a wobble despite their run rate being in excess of nine-an-over.

Yuvraj eased the nerves that suddenly cropped up after Warner's dismissal, by carting a colossal six over wide long off, that landed in the second tier. Sunrisers however, were faced by the similar adversity of a crumbling middle-order as Deepak Hooda fell for a six-ball three and Yuvraj was deceived by a slower ball from Jordan after looking set to make the most of his first IPL final appearance. At 156 for 5 in 17 overs, Sunrisers were staring at a total of around 180, that would've still felt a touch below-par against Royal Challengers' batting might. Ben Cutting, however, walked out and addressed that concern to a great extent.

The Australian identified Watson as a target during his manic 15-ball 39-run match-defining cameo. Cutting matched Yuvraj's efforts, sending a ball over the roof in a 24-run final over that left Watson with forgettable figures of none for 61 and Sunrisers with a total of 208 for seven.

Stiff and rigid as he may have been at the crease all season, Gayle took to the occasion of chasing a total in excess of 200 by reverting to his devastating best in the powerplay overs. Barinder Sran, the young left-armer, proved to be the earliest weak-link in an otherwise well-oiled bowling attack. Gayle collected 16 off Sran's second over with two sixes and a four. A warmed-up Gayle gave Cutting an early insight into what it feels to be at the receiving end of an onslaught as Royal Challengers brought up 50 in the fifth over.

Mustafizur Rahman managed to put a lid on the frenzied beginning, but his four-run over meant very little as Gayle continued to go after the rest of the bowlers and collect sixes for fun. That the fielding restrictions were relaxed made very difference to his approach to six-hitting as he lifted the Royal Challengers from 57 from 6 overs to 100 off 9, including a 21-run over off Moises Henriques. Warner was forced to bring back Mustafizur early in search of a wicket, but Kohli, who had been a silent partner till that over, welcomed him with a four and a six as Royal Challengers' target at the half-way stage had been dwarfed by more than half.

Just as Gayle looked set to score his sixth IPL century, he miscued a heave and departed for a 38-ball 76, an innings laced with four fours and eight sixes. The wicket brought respite for Sunrisers but the fact that Kohli had just begun to settle in didn't bode too well for them. There seemed to be a seamless transition of run-scoring from Gayle to Kohli as the Royal Challengers skipper kept his opponents on their toes. He went on to bring up 11th fifty-plus score this IPL.

With Gayle back in the pavilion, Warner saw an opportunity to bring back Sran, a move that worked wonders. Kohli stepped out early to carve a superb inside-out loft over extra cover for a six to score his seventh half-century of the season, but his attempt to replicate his effort two balls later resulted in his dismissal as an inside edge crashed onto the stumps. Kohli walked back, annoyed with himself while Sunrisers huddled together with a real sense of belief.

AB de Villiers's fall just six balls later brought the game back on level-pegging, with Shane Watson and KL Rahul needing to score 60 off the last six overs.

Rahul's wicket in the 15th over left Watson with a massive task at hand. Mustafizur returned for his final spell and denied Watson the chance to Royal Challengers' hero as the Australian misread a slow-cutter and perished to a catch at cover by Henriques. A pumped-up Bhuvneshwar began the 18th over with a yorker that beat Stuart Binny but missed the leg stump. Only three runs came off the next four deliveries before Sachin Baby's reverse-sweep raced away to the third man fence, leaving the Royal Challengers with 30 to chase from last 12 deliveries.

The penultimate over of the chase, by Mustafizur, began with the run out of Stuart Binny but Baby kept his side in the hunt with a six off the final ball, narrowing the equation to 18 off Bhuvneshwar's final over. Amidst palpable tension between overs, there was a moment to chuckle as the crowd began to chant 'Sachin...Sachin', clearly for the Sachin at the crease, rather than the one cricket fans are used to applauding over the years.

The Kerala skipper, however, couldn't repay the adulation, and even broke down when he realized after the penultimate delivery that it was out of his team's reach, as Bhuvneshwar bowled an exceptional final over to take his team to IPL glory.

In the end, there were shades of the final from 2009 when Royal Challengers looked all set to triumph against a side from Hyderabad, before the proceedings took a dramatic turn and they ended up with the runners-up medal.

Andhra Pradesh CM Hints At Providing Reservation To Upper Caste Poor

Andhra Pradesh government may soon extend reservation for the poor among upper castes, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu indicated here today.

“We will conduct a survey. Based on that we will have no objection to extend reservation benefits to the economically- backward among the upper castes,” Naidu said while delivering the inaugural address at the Telugu Desam Party’s three-day annual conclave ‘Mahanadu’ here.

Terming the backward classes as the “backbone” of the TDP since its inception, the Chief Minister said a special sub-plan has been drafted for BC welfare with a budgetary allocation of Rs 8,600 crore this year.

“Similarly, we are providing benefits worth Rs 1,000 crore to the Kapu community. We have constituted a commission to get Kapus included in the backward classes list and extend reservation benefit.

“For Brahmins, too, we are providing financial assistance for education and self-employment. There are poor among other upper classes as well. We will conduct a survey to determine their economic status. We have no objection in providing reservation for them as well,” Naidu said.

During his 90-minute speech, he mentioned about the travails of the state, “caused by the irrational bifurcation”, but did not speak about the special category status that has become a politically contentious issue.

“We have no money. We have a lot of problems, but still we are doing everything for the uplift of the poor,” he said.

The Chief Minister also said it was the responsibility of the Centre to fulfill all commitments made in the AP Reorganisation Act-2014.

“We aligned with BJP only to overcome the troubles caused by the bifurcation (of the state). We still have to get complete support from the Centre. I have taken up these issues with the government bigwigs in New Delhi 18-19 times so far,” Naidu pointed out.

The TDP supremo inaugurated a blood donation camp and a photo exhibition marking the inauguration of Mahanadu. He paid floral tributes to the TDP’s founder-president N T Rama Rao on the occasion.

Union and state ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs and a host of other leaders were present at the event.

England wins toss, bats in second test against Sri Lanka

England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and chose to bat in the second test against Sri Lanka on Friday, resisting the temptation to put the tourists back in after their batting failures in the first game.

By replacing injured all-rounder Ben Stokes with Chris Woakes, England made just one forced change in their team.

Sri Lanka made two changes in its bowling attack. Milinda Siriwardana and Suranga Lakmal join the team to replace Dushmantha Chameera and Dasun Shanaka.

Chameera is out of the series because of a lower back injury. Sri Lanka’s batsmen are under pressure too after being bowled out for 91 and 119 in the heavy loss at Headingley.

Actor Vishal is on cloud nine with his post as a president of Nadigar Sangam and his movies getting positive response. He is releasing his movies back to back in a very short span of time.

Muthaya who is known for his village and massy action flicks is coming with Vishal this time in the name of Maruthu in Tamil and Rayudu in Telugu. Maruthu which released a week back in Tamil opened to a very positive reviews. It is releasing today in Telugu. Let’s see how it works on us.

Story

Rayudu (Vishal) has been brought up with all good virtues that he does not accept any disrespect to women, thanks to his responsible grandmother Annamma (Leela).Everything goes well for Rayudu, as he lives a normal life with a doting grandmother and close friend Maghadeerudu Kokkarako (Soori) in Anantapur until they meet Rolex Bachi (RK Suresh), a powerful local thug turned aspiring politician.

Meanwhile, there is an unsettled enmity between Rayudu’s ladylove Baghyalakshmi (Sri Divya) and Rolex Bachi as the latter brutally murdered the former’s mother. Now Baghyalakshmi files a writ against Rolex through her lawyer dad Srinivasulu (Marimuthu) but it’s not that easy. Can Rayudu helps his ladylove? Also, there is a back story that connects Raayudu to the death of Baghyalakshmi’s mother! This questions form the rest of story.

Cast and Performance

Rayudu character is a tailor made to Vishal. He played it with so much ease. His slang is good. Sri Divya is perfect in her role BhagyaLakshmi which is very bold and powerful. Soori as Maghadeerudu Kokkorokko is show stealer.

He is a laugh riot in the movie and is at his best. Radha Ravi as Bhairavudu is nice and played his role with superb conviction. Leela as Annamma is superb in her role. RK Suresh as Rolex Baachi is nice and is a perfect choice. Marimuthu is good. Other actors played well.

Writing Department

Story of Rayudu set in a village backdrop is routine. Dialogues are good. Screenplay is good.

Technical Departments

Songs composed in this Telugu version is for the name sake only. Makers should have taken care of them. Background score composed by D Imman are superb and elevates movie at places to the next level. Cinematography by R Velraj is nice.

He made movie look so authentic with his visuals. Editing by Praveen KL is sharp, but should have trimmed a few scenes in second half. Action sequences composed are well suited for Vishal. ANL Arasu has done superb job. Production Values are good.

Verdict

First half of the movie do not reveal much story. It is just setting up of premise and introduction of characters. Screenplay is racy and sharp. Soori as Maghadeerudu Kokkorokko provide ample laughs with Rayudu and Annamma.

Sri Divya as Bhagyalakshmi is shown as a very bold and struggling character. Lots of village nativity and comedy gets movie going. Fight scene where Rayudu saves Bhagyalakshmi and his father is picturised very stylish and neat. It is where flash back starts and interval begins. After interval, flash back begins and screenplay begins falling. Many twists are revealed. With this conflict between Rolex Bachi and Rayudu begins.

After a lot of hassles and conflicts movie ends with a good climax. Director Muthayya has done a very good job with first half and he failed to handle screenplay in the second half. As the movie is made in Tamil, there is a lot of tamil nativity. Telugu audience might not connect to that. Biggest drawback of the movie is its songs for which lyrics are unfit for their tunes.

They are put for the namesake. With these type of songs, very well picturised songs are also ignored. They come as a speed breakers at regular intervals. To sum up, Rayudu is a mass movie of Vishal’s style.
