I will post here from time to time as is permissible by my schedule.

Once I have my manuscripts completed and rewritten a few times, I will be ready for publishing and post some about them here and where you will find a copy or two.

Again, thank you for reading me.

A.R.Eatough

A.R. 101 - Words Mean Things

It appears I need to educate a few of my readers; those whom have not read me in the past as opposed to those whom have and understand the method in which I compose my writing; specifically to my last post and the various posts in other forums throughout the Internet.

As and example: "...government becoming so powerful that it can do what it wants without impunity; without regard to the rule of law..."

The Constitution allows for some impunity because of intent or an agreement between the States; Executive Orders, Matters of National Concern, War Powers Act, Taxation to Support the Military, Payment of International Debt and others. Each of these exempt the government or its members from prosecution according to the Rule of Law; Executive Orders circumvent Congress, Members of the House and Senate may from time to time need to break local ordnances in order to be present during votes, The President may react to an Invasion without prior consent of Congress to defend the Country with the use of deadly force, Taxation to Support the Military even where that taxation may not be representative of a majority of the States, Payment of International Debt where there may be a significant or disproportionate benefit to different States, others may include but not be limited to the disproportionate application of revenues during a National Emergency, and other acts which are sanctioned by the government for the explicit reason of National Security, etc.

When the activities of the members of government disregard the Constitution and the Rule of Law, and have become powerful enough to where there is coercion and/or where the people are afraid to bring charges of impropriety, fraud and abuse; it is tyranny, not impunity. This government has become tyrannical in nature, not impunitary within the parameters of the Constitution or the Contract between the States defining Limits and Representation of a Cohesive Government. Once we no longer have a Constitution or in other words, no longer have a Representative Government, we will have a Dictatorship or in other words, a government without representation.

Read what I write and not what you think I have written or what you think I ought to write. I do want to thank you for reading me and thank those whom have on occasion offered me corrective criticism and even those whom have challenged me from time to time.

November Will Tell

In my travels this last couple of months; the theme that keeps an illusive distance in conversation and statement, the fear the people have in this government. This fear is far greater than the one shared during the Cold War and much greater than the fear of a Nuclear Exchange with China, Korea, the New Russia or Iran.

The people I have had numerous conversations with, from many different demographics, the terrible future they see and the helplessness they feel. When asked which they fear more, the government or a terrorist attack; the answer has been almost unanimous, they can somewhat prepare or design means to protect themselves from the terrorists, they cannot prepare to protect themselves from this government.

When asked; if any, which policy they fear the most, it’s not any single one but the cumulation, the idea of the government becoming so powerful that it can do what it wants without impunity; without regard to the rule of law, morality or public opinion, that so few people can have this much power.

Where law and doctrine has been designed to exempt sound science and historical evidence at the whim and undemonstrative reason of totalitarian authority without regard to sovereignty but a covenant of ideological similarities within the hierarchy, no mater what their political affiliation, where the political climate rewards them with acclamation of a commonly sought end by which the means are a distorted platform calculated to deceive the very people they solicit support.

Our two party political systems have become incestuous. On the Left; you have the common thread of the criminalization of persons who declare values and proven examples of correct administrative practices and on the right; the demonization of those same persons because those practices don’t fit well within the new parameters set forth by the nuances of a modern and progressive ideology of political correctness and agreements of cooperation with the Left.

Conservatives, whether they are Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Moderates are at odds with any one who opposes the rule of law and the formula for self governance prescribed by our founders and forefathers in the Constitution. Unfortunately, a significant number of individuals who have dissuaded a considerable collective on the merits of Constitutional Law and the free exercise thereof and successfully influenced them into believing the Constitution is an antiquated document and in these modern times, the government has full authority to govern as it sees fit.

As a result; we now have a government that has a rapid metamorphosis between a hypnotically benevolent entity that appears to have the welfare and safety of the people; to an organism which apparently cannot be stopped and has in and of itself one and only one objective, which is to consume everything and everyone.

I believe our government has become a machine which is so totally out of control; it has become as evil as the people who now control it. We have become the world of George Orwell’s 1984, the world written about by Ayn Rand and the world fled from, to the United States for freedom. Who would have thought, it could actually happen. Who would have thought it would.

Pascha 2010

Easter has become many things to many people. Bunny Day, First Spring Day, and a reason to take time off work to spend with family and friends to name a few. The true meaning of Easter as well as other religious days, has been detracted by commercialization, religious compartmentalization and political correctness. Our modern American Society as a whole has deemed the necessity of ignoring tradition and faith for the expedience of pursuing self gratification and not the needful things of what makes us spiritual beings in a fallen human world.

Pascha in the Orthodox Tradition or Easter in the denominated traditions, the Church celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Indeed it is a celebration, for the Resurrection confers to man in his fallen state, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and all that had been professed through man by the Holy Spirit had been fulfilled and the promise made to man by God is the Truth and in that Truth the Evidence of the Kingdom of God.

I pray all my brothers and sisters will have a Blessed Pascha. A revolution that would take us, this country, into a new evolution where war would no longer exist, where hunger and poverty would be a thing of the past, where the mighty would fall and the down-trodden would reign. Who would have thought, 46 years later, the philosophy and politics I had been fascinated with; the philosophy promised with velvet tongued renditions of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto by unscrupulous predators targeting malcontents and youth of Socialist Families would come into panoramic view and at the stroke of a pen could very well come to pass.

At the forefront, a full view of an evolution of revolutionary proportions where the fabric of America will be changed forever and history will be rewritten to reflect the failure of a tried experiment of a handful of men and their quest for change two hundred and thirty five years ago. In the gallery, the predators are still lurking, ready to dissuade anyone who falters from the so called credence of progressive ideology.

So what difference does a half century make in the scheme of things? It’s what the time between the end of World War Two and now; three generations and what had been done and not done. I started on one end of the spectrum and am now on the other; the comedy and tragedy of politics where unfortunately people listened to me then and unfortunately they don’t listen to me now; the now and then and the greatest American Tragedy being played upon the World Stage, right before our eyes.

I grew up in a common house-hold of the era: a father driven to succeed in his area of expertise and the promise of retirement by long held corporations by well meaning people and the illusive social security fund; a mother driven by the success of her peers and indulged herself in the quasi tiers of American homemaking and motherhood and the trust she held for her husband to provide the worth to make their niche in this world, free from the wants and needs as the less fortunate.

My parents were not Communists, nevertheless, they were Socialists; to be more accurate, they became Socialists and I became a Marxist; now a former Marxist. I would go as far as saying; not all Socialists are Communists but all Communists are Socialists, although many in our new main stream media will disagree with me. My parents progression to socialism must have begun shortly after WWII even though there had been national discontent and strife before the war. There had been a shamble of families and industries and preparations to rebuild Post War America as Americans, even though victorious, were nevertheless weakened and licked their wounds.

The tide of Communism began to lap over the shores of the United States and like many, the want for a better life gave in to the solicitation by so called experts willing to edify a more palatable means to attain this life, by equating want and need to those like my parents, who wanted simple answers to complex questions and frankly, didn’t have time to listen to long drawn out complexities. The rhetorical promises of better means by the Post-war Administration; and many agencies and administrators, made it easy to take advantage of the exhausted and weakened citizenry still reeling from two concurrent wars and the disintegration of Pre-war politics and economy.

My parents like many others, became prey to the unsuspected predatory practices of Elitists, Socialites and Profiteers who offered a new beginning and seemed somehow unscathed from the effects of the World War. My parents did what most everyone did; do the best they could with what they had and rely on the unknown future. But what about the promises of a brighter and more prosperous future; and where could my parents find their place in it?

Dad served proudly in the Navy and it would be disrespectful of me if I didn’t remember him as an American Patriot. Love has many facets and as difficult as it was to adjust to a variable life and constant changes we experienced from poverty to prosperity, he did well as a provider to our family. He was a hard man and demanded compliance to respect, education and tradition, a gentleman by reputation and extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise. Politically, he was a Socialist and would continually beat the drum of “we are the enemy” and social justice and in private, ridiculed those who thought differently than he and occasionally the volatility of the topic became apparent when anyone questioned his philosophy; to be more precise, he didn’t like to be wrong. He agreed that there was some injustice in anyone making more money than they needed and any more was wasteful and surly we should strive to contribute to the whole in order to bring equality to the working class; however, he wasn’t going to justify freeloading or supporting anyone who would not labor for their keep.

Mom also was an American Patriot and served proudly with the U.S.O. and at a German P.O.W. Camp here in the States. She also demanded conformity to social mores of respect and hard work. She was the social butterfly of the family which always mystified me as she kept up with the pomp and circumstance of the world around us. She reveled in her own Camelot modeled after the lifestyle predominately in Vogue in that era. She would keep dad informed of “who and what” in public circles as she rubbed elbows with “the haves and well to do” and made sure she they were in the loop so not to miss any private affair with “certain” corporate and political leaders. Even though she was intensely active in social affairs, she kept her life and the family compartmentalized. She seemed to be friends with everyone but kept herself and the family a mystery, even within the confines of our home.

Much of the time, we kids were well behaved and kept to ourselves or were occupied with the kids of other similar families. One common aspect the kids shared was the compartmentalization of our families and the lack of social skills unless learned from some publication, a hapless interlude with a well meaning neighbor or disgruntled family member. Formal skills were learned piecemeal as time would permit by our parents, occasional family gatherings and reluctantly persuaded corps of institutes to “take care of” or for the lack of a better term, “keep the kids occupied”. School was a more than anything, a very scary place, because we were different than the others and we found it difficult to “fit in”; we were “outsiders in common-place surroundings, but fit well in the world of the elite.

Many “private” affairs were attended at my parent’s home. The adults exercised their social skills with the usual conversations of who’s who, politics and what “those others” were doing – these other I discovered were the unenlightened and unwashed. And of course, children have “big ears” and in the course of affairs such as this, learned many important things about the world of politics, corporations and the who’s in “those certain circles”. As would have it, disciplined and well behaved children learned the game and eventually tested their knowledge with the “adults” for admission into this world of the enlightened.

Armed with my tenacious desire to be better and more knowledgeable than my parents, I ventured into the recesses of the world around me to seek out others of common interests and ideology. I learned of the “underground” and coffeehouses, bookstores and other places where different groups with common goals met. I’d return home to find my mother a willing listener as I discussed with her those things I had learned from the outside. I suppose I may have alarmed her of my wisdom as she would tell me to not wander too far afield where I may not fully understand the ramifications of what direction I was heading.

The coffee houses where sickly sweetened tea and acrid burnt coffee was served in lipstick stained porcelain cups to want-to-be intellectuals. The common decorum of cigarette burnt coffee stained tables occupied by writers, story tellers, beatniks and long term patrons, a place where one would expect plans for change and revolution would be discussed, where; if you were lucky, you would meet one of the architects of this revolution, and possibly some of these patrons would actually be here as their luck would have it, to listen to, you.

The floors as was the furniture, told the story of many years of use as one would find in old abandoned office buildings and long quit market places. From the once saturated original floor, the slight smell of ancient fuel oil and kerosene filters through the dense cigarette smoke hanging in the air. I make my way around many young people such as myself who had frequented these establishments, many with an ax to grind or lost in the quest for knowledge or companionship, many of them, children of socialist and communist parents. An empty chair awaits me at a table surrounded by a few familiar faces.

Topics and conversation abound with fervor and purpose; the war in Vietnam, the poor people and victims of government abuse, the government and what the people were or were not in power to do and of course, then as it is now, the Rich, Corporate America and the Military Industrial Complex.

The ad-hoc convention comes to a close with a consensus similar to other gatherings across the country by other like minded people; to use agencies against each other, to become involved and admit nothing, to challenge the establishment by accusing it of atrocities and neglect. One important element though, was to enforce in our thinking, time; we would not avail ourselves to the calendar of this day, but to the slow march into the future so as not to bring attention to our revolution until we were ready.

Formula for success would be to deny everything we would be doing and contradict every even if well meaning, every suggestion and activity of rule and law. Lying would be accepted as just another means of communication as we would know the truth and everything negative would be positive and everything positive will be negative. We will create situations and then use their laws against them and use one agency against the other. We will define criteria, compartmentalize and then micromanage and then pitch one against the other. We will lie, lie, lie and deny, deny, deny. We will argue against one not for the want to change their opinion but the opinion of the witness or bystander. We will motivate guilt by charging them with the stigma of racism or one of convenience. We will accuse them of those things we are doing and then hide behind their anger. We will find fault with everything and want for unattainable solutions. We will use a multifaceted attack and misdirect their attention. We will confound the establishment and bring solidarity of socialism to the front door of Washington and once this revolution takes hold, preside over an insurrection that can not be stopped for it will sustain itself under its own weight.

For some, it was just a game, entertainment, to see if it can be done; just to take on the establishment. For others, it was a reality more insidious than one could imagine. Whether a game or reality; the means to attain the objective was the same, watching it unfold as if watching a play “in the round” and trying to determine who the actors are and who the audience is. Each, within their own reality, each with their own reason; choreography of chaos where the final act will bring forth burnt offerings on an empty stage and no one will care as long as they got what they came for.

46 years ago and many who were at these forgotten round table conventions are in the fight for their lives at this time. The revolutionaries are now in principle positions and those who fell away or turned backs on those who remain, those as myself, are trying to warn the American People of what is about to transpire. Those as myself; who were angry adolescents of angry times, who matured to adult minds and understanding to what our founders had assembled in another time of anger over 230 years ago, another revolution which brought about liberty and the development of the most powerful, most wealthy and most influential nation in the world.

What has been presented in the politics of today; the representatives whom have been placed into respectable and influential positions of our government, who still carry the banner of a revolution that was instituted three generations hence, who deny atonement of any reprehensible deed, who wallow in angry adolescence of an angry past; are going to end their revolution at the threshold of National Socialism.

I say this with respect to those who will listen, and write this with the same respect to those who will read, all that I have said and written; heed my warning; I know what has been put into play and what the objective is of these people who are now in strategic positions to overthrow the United States of America, her Constitution and Bill of Rights, who have leveraged themselves into the mechanics of our Government and Institutions and Corporations, who will, if not stopped, do what our enemies have not been able to do; and, they will do it without firing one shot.

The difference between what I was then, 46 years ago and today; I was drafted into the United States Army, served in Vietnam where I learned another face of Communism. Over the years, I learned what this country actually stood for, it’s rich history and the reason and meaning of what our forefathers designed. For me, it was painstaking to undo my own progression from where I was in total disagreement with the precepts of American Government and disentangle myself from Marxism and yes, the idea of a One World Government, to being a Constitutionalist and a Conservative Libertarian.

I became a Patriot and as a Patriot sound this warning in earnest; these people I call Marxists and Communists are not patriots and they have only an allegiance to an ideology of tyrannical leaders past and present. They may not ever be stopped, but can be slowed down and it will take vigilance and the re-acquisition of our heritage and history to stem-off what has always been; an attempt by our enemies to gain control or conquer the United States of America.

The American people have become afraid of their Government to a greater degree if not as equal to the fear our founders were of England. These are trying times and warrant attention by the Citizens and Patriots. We can no longer be or become swept-up in the idle and meaningless repetition of a le-se-fair life. We have become spoiled in our wealth and forgotten those we have passed along the way. We have readied ourselves for a utopia that exists only in what we obtain singularly by our own effort, for a utopia unattainable of national proportions. We have listened to the lies of what was called “main-stream” media and the intellectuals and leaders that tell us; Government is the Answer to our problems.

Government is not the answer, free people are. I hope you take what I have written to heart and maybe invite me to an empty chair at your table to listen to what I have to say; not as then, an angry adolescent; as in now, a Patriot who believes in Liberty and the American way of life.

God Bless America and the people whom have fought and shed blood to keep her free.

Who Would Have Thought

Post was removed for reevaluation.

As with any controversial topic, authors may have a tendency to offend people. Normally I would not have taken an effort to reevaluate my writing after publishing. From time to time, this may be an option. In the future, I will be more careful in the way I present what I write with regard to how it is presented and not necessarily to whom I may offend.

This post has been re-posted as: Burnt Offerings on an Empty Stage.

Thank you,

A.R.

State of the Union Speech by President Obama

In listening to Mr. Obama's State of the Union speech, I drew this opinion: It appears Mr. Obama is now using right leaning talking points... Are we now to think there is a such thing as Conservative Marxism?

Does he "really" think by regurgitating some Conservative ideas we are going to forget; while spouting "Change" he stormed into the Capital like a storm trooper, followed close at his heals some of the most radically left socialists this nation has known; and accompanied by a spiritual mentor preaching from the steps of hell and one of America's most infamous terrorists in the wings?

First impressions and repercussions from bad policy are going to be hard to shake off. Will his polished demeanor and newly acquired wit be enough to rally support from the conservative base?

Conspicuously absent was the main point true Conservatives rally around; limited government.

A Shot Across the Bow

Congratulations are in order for Scott Brown. This is why he was elected.

Now, we also have a task before us. We will need to support Scott and give him our honesty so he can stand against the Marxists we are trying to defeat.

We also face a greater task; to place more people into position to continue the battle to take our country back. The election of Scott Brown is a shot across the bow. We won a battle; we must now win the war against National Socialism in our own country.

Martin Luther King Day

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. changed history. As I remember growing up, the news was filled with pro and con about whom would become one of the most significant men in my life. One of Americas greatest visionaries of our time.

I never met this great man and I am saddened that I never did, however, his strength, fortitude and character; his philosophy of life and the inspiration he gave freedom loving Americans; Americans who see only the character and not the color, see the determination for greatness and not the under-pinning and most hate full prejudices that subjugate people; Americans who seek maybe not perfection, but the willingness to strive for perfection; Americans who only ask you to do your best and help those who are less fortunate, to achieve greatness; became in part of who I am and as with many Americans.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr is the embodiment of what is right and what is wrong in our societies; that prejudice has no place in the fabric of the United States of America nor in the American way of life. Prejudice brought his mortal life to an end; however, his true life still lives in every breath we take as we fight for freedom and equality for every American. He is indeed a great man and I pray his voice will never be silenced and his dream will continue throughout our future.

Humanity vs Humanity

Four firefighters die to save an endangered species of fish in Okanogan National Forest in Washington State and California farmland is in a drought because of the Delta Smelt. Our humanity toward so called endangered species is commendable. However, our lack of humanity to millions of unborn children is appalling and down right disgusting.

There doesn’t appear to be a problem determining where life begins in the scheme of endangered species and a great disconnect in logic when it comes to humans.

Abuse and inhumane treatment has been sited for closing or regulating feed yards, packing houses and chicken processing, we are now expected to stand idly by as the Pro-choice advocates take advantage of “possible” Federal Funding from National Health Care, which has prompted the opening of a major abortion clinic, the second largest in the world, in Houston Texas.

We are approaching the 37th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decree of 1973 on January 22, 2010. We have people in our midst who advocate the closing of stockyard slaughter houses and support opening human slaughter houses. This verges on Genocide and this madness has got to stop.

Win, Lose or Draw

What was it that made President Ronald Reagan a great President? He inspired Americans -- he challenged us. Challenge; the common denominator of great people. From neighborhood kids playing Wiffle Ball in the back allies to the great athletes in the sports arenas of the NFL and International Games, or in the business world from Mom-n-Pop to Donald Trump and Sam Walton, or on the front lines from the Local Sheriff of a small hamlet to the United States Military defending our country from our enemies; challenge made us great and the United States a great nation. We can not expect to prevail if we are not challenged.

What do great leaders expect from us? To do the best we can with the resources we have. To use our imagination, our experiences and our individuality to realize our potential. To be willing to take defeat with honor and win with humility. To learn from those who have obtained greatness and teach those who want to be great. To not take for granted who we and those around us are. To not waste one moment in the pursuit of greatness, not only for ourselves and the people around us, but also the country we love and cherish.

When President Obama stated, “I understand that the politically safe move would be to kick the can further down the road — to defer reform one more year, or one more election, or one more term…,” I’m sure he wasn’t talking to people who understand the principals of entrepreneurship or what makes success what it is or of what greatness can be achieved when we are seen as to be, “just kicking the can down the road”. He was using a metaphor and directing this comment as an insult to offset or throw off balance, people who are trying to do the best they can and are actually not sure of the resources they have before them or how to go about the requisition of those resources – trying to intimidate them into thinking the only answer is in the hands of the government and his agenda.

Taking this metaphor in another direction; I will prove just how important that can, can be. I will take you along with me as, “I kick the can down the road”.

As I journey to an unknown, in pursuit of something I might not be sure of; I spot an empty can on the side of the road and give it a kick. It as if having a mind of its own, lands in a ditch. I can either retrieve it or leave it where it lay.

I decide to enter the ditch and give it another kick. It seems to be content with the ditch as it rolls down the embankment and lands just a few feet in front of me. Again, another decision; I kick it again and it returns to the road where the game goes on.

I kick the can a few more times and am joined by a friendly faced lad. “Hi, A.R., what are you doing?” "Thinking." say I. “Thinking about what?” is the reply. “Where to go from here.” I respond.

Other decisions are made. To continue the game by myself or ask Tim, the friendly faced lad to join me and another by Tim in whether or not he will. Or, whether or not Tim will ask if he can join me or go off on his own.

As we continue to take turns kicking the can down the road, we approach an open field and decide to play there. We enjoy our time chasing the can around the field and a group of jeering boys approach. “Is that all you have to do all day?” asks what appears to be the leader.

“We’re thinking” responds Tim. “Thinking of what?” John, the leader asks. “How to make some money”, I respond. “Count me in”, perks John and the other agree.

Over the course of the day, there must have been a dozen or so, show up at the field where we were playing kick the can. By now the can has seen much abuse and we are in need of another can. But, we don’t want to leave our faithful can on the wayside. “I have an idea”, says Bonnie. “I can wrap the can in some duct-tape and then we can all play.” Bonnie wraps the can; we organize teams and play another game of kick the can.

By now, there seems to be an interest in what we are doing. The neighborhood seems to bustle with boys and girls and parents watching us play. There are cheers as one team makes a goal and jeers as another score a point. All is fun as we play kick the can.

The crowd seems to have enjoyed themselves, too. “Are you going to be back tomorrow?” asks of the onlookers. “We sure will!” we laughed as we left the field.

The story doesn’t end there; the can is wrapped with more tape, our team makes plans for some tactics and the other team does as well. We even find some similarly colored shirts to show our team spirit.

Some of the industrious people of the onlookers made plans to bring food and snacks; others told some of their friends of tomorrow’s game and the day will be spectacular.

Another game was played; we lost to the Barons, but it was all in fun. The games continued throughout the summer and plans were made for the playoff. Both teams were tied and it will be fierce. Tickets will be sold and everyone will be there.

We won the playoff. There must have been a thousand people there. Lots of money was made, everyone had fun, and there has been talk of next summer where there will be more teams and more games and more people and more money and… more fun.

You see; that is how you play, kick the can. Government doesn't know how to play kick the can. Do you? Win, lose or draw; kick the can down the road.

The Silence is Frightening

In my travels, I talk to many people, common folk; much of the conversations center on politics. I have in my opinion, determined, a majority of people either don't really care about the state of the Union or actually don't understand what is going on or are just too busy.

Yes, they are aware the economy is faltering, and employment is at a record low, but this doesn't concern them because they already have a job, are on unemployment or government aid of some sort. Some are in-between where they were and where they’re going and those who are in college or some school in hope for a better future.

For the most part, the economy does have its ups-n-downs and most suppose it will recover, someday. And, some hope it will but believe it won’t. They seem to think one party is just as bad as the other or there is no difference between any of them and the problem with the country is we have a bunch of people in Washington and they, the common folk, have no control and what happens will happen.

The people that do care are angry, very angry; and the ones who don't care or don't understand are baffled at the anger and are often offended by it. They reiterate their favorite talking heads or talk-show celebrities without even a hint of their own research into what is being reported or even an attempt to comprehend. They’re too occupied in dealing with what the bureaucracy keeps throwing their way; a proliferation by design, to keep the masses engaged in confusion and government compliance without question.

The population of beggars and panhandlers has increased and there appears to be more homeless than before, the new ones have the usual panic stricken look of “what am I going to do now”; the seasoned ones of, “more of the same”. There go I if not for the Grace of God, a humble commentary for I may be next, if the company I work for goes belly-up or it is down-sized or whatever the reason. The old adage of being one paycheck away from poverty prevails and even then, I may be closer than I think because of a reduction in pay and cutbacks in hours and fabricated excuses for layoffs.

Everyone blames Bush and now includes Obama for the ills of the Country; politicians keep with the same old rhetoric, repeating stale bumper-sticker slogans, rehashing old news with a fresh spin and pointing fingers across the isle accusing the other and not taking blame.

After sifting through all the noise and propaganda in the media and out of Washington; and cancelling it out, I hear their mouths move and nothing is really being said. There is silence. Real issues are not being addressed, and no one is listening to the people. We have literally lost control of the Government; it continues to spend money we don’t have, borrow on a future not sure of and tax what’s left of our worth.

With what do your representatives respond when you ask them what they are doing? They give some rehearsed answer and look for another cue as if playing the part of some movie or play. They bait you into a dialog of “good-ol’-boy” chat as if you were “one of the family”. Stop! Answer the question: “What are you doing?” They will look at you, dumbfounded, nothing to say. The silence is frightening.

House of Mirrors

Are the images real? Does one image seem more real than another? What do you see when your told to look here or over there? Are you looking for something familiar? Something you can focus on to give you a point of reference? Is the image you see a collage of reflections and you’re not sure of which to give your attention?

Are you trying to take a closer look? Maybe even stepping back for a better perspective? Are there so many images that it confounds you and they become more confusing each time you turn and take a different view? Maybe you’re too focused on the illusive fraction and refraction and not paying attention to the seams. Yes, a point of reference, something to draw you away from the images in the mirrors, a reality.

The mind is powerful and complex. It allows us to see things in many and diverse dimensions, from the subtle to the deliberate. It manifests its own reality based on our own experiences. It can also be redirected into believing in something not of self, depending upon the will of another. This redirection is usually an element of survival, commonly called denial. In order to maintain our position with our family or someone of authority, to fit in. Or become part of something we believe greater than ourselves or the want to be popular or somehow more powerful than we are, or to become significant.

Illusion, a game played many times by many, from magicians, corporations, governments and tyrants. Magicians captivate your imagination for your entertainment. Corporations captivate your drive to succeed for the greater good of the economy. Government captivates your patriotism for the security and well being of the country. Tyrants captivate your fears for the wanton control of your life.

You’re told there will be transparency in our Government and never question why the secrecy behind closed doors? You’re told the Government will take care of you and never question why it needs to? You’re told you will be provided something greater than what you have and wonder why you received less? You are told we are at war with people who are trying to kill us and destroy this country and never ask why the captives called enemies of the United States are not turned over to our military and instead are treated like common criminals?

Where do you draw the line? Do you draw it in blowing sand or melting snow? Is it etched in the mud or in granite? Are you angry enough or will you cower away, content in your own misery? Are you told what to believe and in doing so, wonder why you have no faith? Are you told that what gain you have worked for is not your right to keep?

This Marxist Regime, aka: the Obama Administration has taken advantage of what appears to be an endless tolerance by the American People; for willful misconduct, blatant disregard for the Constitution, transparent fabrications disguised as truths, and activities if carried out by anyone else would have been labeled as subversive, treasonous and un-American.

What are the images you see? If they are not of liberty and the American way of life as prescribed by our forefathers and the authors of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, what are they? If the images you see are not of freedom from tyranny by a strong representative and limited government, why are you living in this country? If the images you see are not of a strong and powerful nation and the last best hope for mankind, why do you call yourself an American?

Is everything the United States has gained over two hundred years of liberty, worth the want of a hand full of people who want nothing more than to change this country into National Socialism, to control every aspect of your life? Well, let me say; not only our low and mostly freezing temperatures are a record, the coldness of our government is record breaking, also.

Our government has been giving American Citizens the cold shoulder, our Intelligence Agencies have been left out in the cold, our leaders have foisted cool billions in debt upon us, the Global Warming fiasco has been cooled down (it's climate change now, duh), Mr. Obama's change has cooled off (he insists on putting a fire under it), and the warm fuzzes the voters got when they elected Mr. Obama are becoming colder, the economy has gotten cold, the free world is cold toward the United States and now we are trying to cool down the political assaults by the world tyrants, the United States and the Free World are embarking on another Cold War with Russia, China has put our U.S.Dollar in the cooler, and North Korea is pretty cool about starting a Nuclear Arms Race and the folks inside the Beltway don't seem too cool about supporting our Allies and it looks like it will be a cold day in hell when the Obama Administration will do anything about Iran's ambition for Nuclear Weapons.

Well folks; things are looking up. It failed because of the inept ability of our government to do what it is supposed to do; protect its citizens...

This government has neutered our intelligence agencies with political correctness and allowed the ACLU to dictate what we can and can not do to protect ourselves. Congratulations are in order for a job well done, Mr. Obama. A job well done by our magnificent government.

This out of control government is so focused on how to steel our money, force Americans Citizens into a Health Care System we don't want and push the United States into National Socialism, it doesn't have time to just merely protect American Citizens. Any way you look at this New Year, it will be an interesting one. There will be plenty of blame to go around for the previous year and much to be thankful for; we survived one more. And as we embark on the New Year, we must acknowledge there will be many challenges. Some will be successful, some will be failures.

The games are over. There will not be any time to waste and much to accomplish. The United States of America will be the battleground for the future. There are many who want to change this country, some for the better, and some for the worst. We have members of our own community who do not care for anything or anyone, who have an objective of not only dominance of this nation, but world dominance as well, and in order for them to gain the world, they must first conquer us. We are the last hope for liberty. We are the people the free world looks to in their darkest hours. We are also, the people the free world looks to with thanks.

I predict the United States will survive the storm. This lull is but the eye of a hurricane. When the storm has passed, the Democrat party will no longer be recognized as internal changes will transform it as its members; the citizens will remove the Marxist who controls it. The Republican Party will be transformed as well, also by its members; the citizens will remove those who oppose true Conservative values, those who have weakened it.

There will not be any room for those who want to destroy this country; for these people will be hunted down and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Constitution and the law. The game is over and we will take our country back. We do not want what will surely be a bloody revolution where the people take up arms to protect themselves from their own government; and we will use every peaceful means possible to bring this government around to what our forefather intended; a representative and limited government.

There is much talk about nullification of federal laws by the states to protect themselves from this out of control government and secession, where each state will remove itself from a government that was not agreed upon. There is also talk about the government planning to use force to compel the people to comply with unconstitutional laws.

So, where do we go from here? We register to vote and we make it a priority to go to the polls this November to vote the people who are up for reelection, who endorse this Marxist administration out of office, by replacing them with people who love this country and are willing to fight for her and the liberty of their constituents.

We register to vote, and do the same in 2012. And, we nominate people with character and moral fiber so there will be candidates worth their salt and who love this country and are willing to fight for her and the liberty of their constituents. And, we vote the communist bastards out and run them out of town on a rail.

And, after we regain control of the government; prosecute every one of these un-American politicians for willful misconduct, violations of their oath of office and treason. Isn’t that a bit radical you ask? What do you think they are going to do to you if they remain in power?

A New Year, A New Change

2010 will be the year of demarcation; a point of reference to where we will go as a nation. In front of us are two doors: the door on the left; if we choose this door will issue in a year of great strife and undoubtedly a total collapse of our familiar but not perfect country. The door on the right; if we choose this door will issue in a year of great strife and undoubtedly a recovery of our familiar but not perfect country.

What is exactly the change promised by Mr. Obama to the citizens of the United States? Was the change to bring the United States back into line with the principles of our founders and steer this nation away from the direction Mr. G.W.Bush was taking us? Away from nation building and wars which seemed to have an objective unsure of? Away from instability in our domestic policy and intrusion into the privacy of American Citizens with the Department of Homeland Security and the destabilization of our sovereignty by not enforcing current immigration laws and strengthening our borders? Away from extraordinary and unaffordable expenditures of our international policy as we prop up the economy of other countries and continue the international welfare system by giving billions of dollars to other countries for the mere asking by their leaders and expend billions of dollars in the repair of the infrastructures of disaster ridden countries and ignore our own needs? Away from the insistence of purchasing oil from overseas when we have more than enough of our own which would make us energy independent? Away from the secrecy of government and insure transparency into what we the people have the Constitutional Right to? Away from political correctness which has damaged the credibility of the United States by not allowing us to maintain our strengths because of our diversity and render us impotent by some want of fictionalized equality? Away from…

Just what is this change we were expecting? Was it change for change sake? Was it the want of some utopia that would provide the needs of every person, whether an American Citizen or not? Free rent, free homes, free car, free education, free food, free medical, free gasoline, free this, free that and free whatever? Was it to tear down the veil of separation between the actual differences of strengths, weakness, ability and inability between people or the wall of sociological differences of sex, race, religion, ethnicity, economics and stature or the perceived differences defined by a government that wants to control every aspect of your life by demonizing anyone who doesn’t want to be a carbon copy or exact replication of another? Was it to place the United States on the same level of the rest of the world by bringing our nation down to an 18th century posture and not educate the rest of the world on how to bring them up to the 22nd century by example? Was it to…

What ever the change; this is the year for action. The choice will be the most important one you will ever make in your life. The choice will be your legacy. The choice will be for the future and the future of your posterity. Your choice will be for all time; to turn away from our history and embrace National Socialism, Marxism, and Communism; or pursue Liberty, Freedom and limited government.

I can not express enough, the importance of your vote. Not just this mid-term but the vote you will cast in the primaries which will determine if you will vote for the better of two evils in 2012 or for someone who will be the representative of a mighty nation and world power, who loves the United States of America and will be willing to fight for her and not distain her.

It will be up to you, I will vote for Liberty. Are we going to remain a free people or are we going to be enslaved by our government? The choice is one of the two doors, Liberty or Tyranny.

Looking Forward

2009 has been an interesting year. I started this blog in March and it is already the end of December. I've made a few mistakes along the way, as well as a number of significant posts.

I wish I could have spent more time on the writing and publishing side of my life as the endless time sinks for precious time I have called other projects seem to grab more of my attention and frankly, I'd rather be writing.

I'm sure, as more of my writing is read and I've angered enough of the gangsters on the left and those on the right and surely the ones that keep getting overlooked in the center; I will become a significant threat. Not because I have some deep-seeded and dark secret of some politicians, but because I'm not afraid of them - cautious and respectful as one would be to a viper or scorpion, but afraid, no.

I'm afraid of myself actually and the possibility of success. I'm not sure if I would be ready for the responsibility that entails - success that is. But, then who is ever ready when all of a sudden, you find yourself at the front of the line and everyone is following, looking to you for direction.

And, what am I expecting of 2010? That, I will be a better writer. That, I will have a better chance of one of my books being published. How about, if this monstrous and totally out of control government of ours is not stopped or slowed down at least, in 2011 we will see a future more horrible than that of Stalinist Russia begin to unfold right in front of us and if we can't stop it in 2012, we will not be able to stop it until this animal destroys and consumes everything or it is stopped in a bloody revolution that will make the Civil War look like a church picnic.

On the other hand; my hope and prayer for 2010, is I will be a better writer and will publish a book or two. And, Conservatives will have made important needed changes to bring this government of ours back to what our founders and forefathers had in mind. In 2011, we will be able to see a future where we just might be able to correct the problems this nation has experienced over the course of Political Correctness and Environmental Insanity. And, by 2012, we will have stopped runaway spending, ended the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, returned unspent revenues back to the budget office for reevaluation, made deep cuts in taxes and allowed entrepreneurship to flourish and bring the employment rate up to 98% and set our sights to repay the international debt we have incurred and once again see economic stability in the United States and our international trade partners.

Impossible? It wasn't too long ago, no one would have ever thought a hand full of crooked politicians could destroy this country in just one year.

The Best Christmas Ever

We lose ourselves in the theatrics of holiday preparation as Christmas approaches. The Sales at the local shopping mall, what to get the kids, family and spouse, wrapping presents and cooking the meal, inviting friends and family to your home or going to theirs.

Just who was this day celebrated for? Me? You? Who? The Nativity of our Lord, Jesus Christ, Christmas celebrated on the 25th of December for Western Christians; January 7th for Eastern Christians, has many meanings for those who participate. Many? As in an extra day off from work, an excuse to party down with friends, to bask in popularity by family and friends because you prepare the best dinner and have the biggest house to accommodate everyone or your the greatest Santa Claus because you know what to buy everyone and you do. Maybe it's just a day to be with close family and friends. Maybe it's...

But, do we really ever experience Christmas? When you attend church and sing praises to the Lord or participate in the Liturgy, do you experience Christmas? What if I told you, putting everything aside and in solitude you can find Christmas. Listening to that special Christmas Carol; does it bring tears to your eyes, knowing you really have nothing to offer Him; that you really do have poverty of faith. We have nothing to offer at His birth and less at His Crucification and Resurrection.

Today I met a man, maybe in his eighties; he spoke of great things he had done in business and in his personal life. His family was long gone, children, both boys died in Vietnam during the evacuation of the American Embassy in Saigon when he himself was just a young man. His wife died from cancer two decades ago and his brothers and sister had also passed away. But, he spoke of this mission he was on; a mission that had kept him struggling to go on, a mission he was really never sure of.

As it was, I met him in front of a convenience store slash truck fuel stop. I had been snowed in by a blizzard that was the biggest one these parts had seen for years. I decided to buy a few things and headed into the building. "Excuse me there friend, is there a chance you might have a few dollars you can spare so I can get something to eat?"

I didn't have any change but a couple of dollars, but I have my bank card. "Well, I'm snowed in and was going to get myself something to eat, why don't you join me." After I paid for our sandwiches, we sat at a table and talked. He told me his story and I told him mine. We talked about life and our life experiences. We talked about our faith and what it meant to us.

After some time, we decided it was time to part and go about our business. After we shook hands he said, "This is the best Christmas ever". "Merry Christmas", I replied and turned to walk into the parking lot and then remembered the few dollars I had in my pocket; I turned around to offer them to him and he was gone.

Sadly, I will miss him somehow. I smiled to myself and thought, yes, this is the best Christmas ever. I believe we find Christmas in poverty of faith. And, I believe I know what his mission is; to remind us, what Christmas really is.

To everyone, I wish a wonderful and fulfilling Christmas. Have faith, Christ is born; Glorify Him."

Merry Christmas

I wanted to give you something special this Christmas. It protects the Governed as well as the Governing. By limiting government, the citizenry is protected from a tyrannical government and by that protection; the government is protected from an over-through by the people. That is; as long as the precepts of the Constitution are met, and the people follow the law of the Constitution to elect those who will govern and represent them by the will of the people who elect them; and the governing people follow the law of the Constitution to protect the liberty and freedom of the people and govern as by the will of the people, the two although separate, form a system that works for the benefit of the nation.

Today, we have an administration which appears to not want to follow the Constitution, but also has contempt for the Constitution and the people they are supposed to represent. The deterioration of our form of government has taken place over years, through different administrations, From Hoover, through Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Bush, Clinton, Bush and now Obama. I didn’t include Eisenhower or Reagan; one, because Eisenhower was first a Five Star General, a Commander in Chief in every sense of the term or Reagan, an anomaly, a President who seemed to have the greatest connection to the people than any politician. I didn’t include any before Hoover, as I believe the corruption didn’t have a strong anchor until Hoover and his demonization by Congress and their thirst for control of the Presidency.

Up until Bush 41, the people had the means to control the government. Bush 41 had close connections in the CIA, a troubling mix as the combination of miss used intelligence, and the conflict of interests while governing a people.

Clinton showed more signs of contempt than his predecessors. He is more of a showboat personality and used the media to mask his inept ability to lead. When faced with matters of great importance, such as taking opportunities to show his leadership, he would rather play at the game of leadership than participate.

Bush 43 was never afforded the chance to show what he might have done as President because of 911. He was forced into a position where he needed to rely on people who disliked him and a Congress that had more control over the people than the other way around. Over all, he had a strong foreign policy however his domestic policy left much to be improved upon.

By the end of the G.W.Bush Administration, Congress was primed to install a President they could control. With the media and modern technology, they were able to sway the people to nominate Obama and McCain. The difference between the two; McCain would have never been a party to weaken the military and would have honored our long standing tradition of supporting and defending our allies.

Barack H. Obama and Joseph R. Biden, Jr. would become the most radically left wing Presidential team to occupy the White House. The team Congress needed to gain absolute control of the United States; her economy, education, labor, and foreign and domestic policy.

In less than a year, opportunity reigned because of the chiseling away of the structure on the United States by past administrations; the Obama Administration waged war on the American People and war on the Free World. In less than a year, this administration has all but destroyed the United States and has brought the free world to its knees.

I believe President Obama is a Manchurian Candidate. He and his administration have a transitive plan to render the Constitution and Bill of Rights null and void. They have the tools to do so at their disposal and the evidence to do so is over the last few months of this administration. Our government has no connection to the people. Our government has lost touch with the people. Our government has become a monster of the highest degree. Our government has become evil.

Without the Constitution and a leadership that is willing to abide by it, the people of the United States have no protection. And, neither does the government. Without laws, there is anarchy; with anarchy there is tyranny, with tyranny there will be revolution. I pray the revolution will be a peaceful one.

Remember Pearl Harbor

December 7th 1941 at 7:53 AM, the first wave of Japanese Kamikaze Air Craft attacked Pearl Harbor Hawaii. The second attack came at 8:55 and by 9:55 it was over. By 1:00 in the afternoon, the aircraft carriers that launched the assault were headed back to Japan.

Two hours, a flash in time and the political landscape of the United States would be changed, forever. Isolation would never again be an option.

Unlike the events of World War One, World War Two would be the age the United States would by necessity, learned the need to be vigilant and on guard to thwart an enemy, even if that enemy appears to not be a threat. The future however, would prove the task illusive.

The Cold War, Korea, Vietnam and now Iraq and Afghanistan would be the lessons learned of an overplayed political hand while trying to determine, who and where the enemy really is. Until we come to terms with a vicious and dangerous world we live in; until we are ready to take the gloves off and fight wars as if our very existence depends on it, we will continue to disarm our own military while trying to befriend our enemies.

What ever we learned by the attack on Pearl Harbor is not as important as remembering the assault itself. We can be attacked at any time, any where, by anyone. It appears Americans have short memories of significant points in our history. It appears we are letting our guard down again and allowing our politicians fight our wars and not Generals.

The picture is of a poster designed by Allen Sandburg, and issued by the Office of War Information, Washington, D.C, in 1942, commemorating the Attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese on December 7, 1941.

Links to some of the history of the attack at Pearl Harbor
from http://www.eyewitnesstohistory.com/:

Aboard the USS Arizona during the attack

The leader of the Japanese air attack describes the battle

President Roosevelt’s reaction to the attack

Film footage of the Japanese attack
