Unlike most other teen comedies the Harold and Kumar Saga is impressively well developed and the characters feel real. Modern comedy movies often portray men as brainless and driven by their urges, here for once we have opposite characters who people can actually relate to despite the ridiculous story. The 3D aspect of the movie seems to be an integral part of the humor and story, while the young director contributes an artistic flair that a lot of people are optimistic about.

The cast and writers have made a visual masterpiece of the second Sherlock Holmes Movie the vital question will be can they keep the story fresh and new.

When making a sequel so soon it's crucial to make it stand out as a unique as possible so that we don't all get bored and start thinking of how much better the first movie was. The explosions aren't an encouraging sign for originality, but nevertheless the visual aspect is so beautiful that it might become a moot point.

The Second Sherlock movie to be released in December might be a repeat of the first and if it is, well it should be worth watching just for the gorgeous film-making.

The first reliable information about the new Tintin Movie comes to us from Garrett Warren, a stunt choreographer for the greatly anticipated film.

The appearance and general feeling to The Secret of the Unicorn:
"It looks an awful lot like the cartoon. They really wanted to bring the cartoon to life... It’s beautiful.... they’re actually trying to preserve the look and essence of the original Tintin characters."

With actors such as Daniel Craig and Simon Pegg and with a genius like Steven Spielberg directing this is probably going to be one of the more memorable and creative movies of 2011.

The movie based and combining multiple Tintin Comic books will hopefully not disappoint the fans. Making a film out of a well known and loved book is always a risk, and here even more so because this one has been around for so long. Including The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Shooting Star, The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham's Treasure, Tintin's (Jamie Bell) first clash with Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) should be to everyone's liking the cutting and pasting of different stories not so much.

All that can be done now is to wait for the end result.

The Movie Thor Is Dropping Thou For You

I guess that makes no sense. Let me elaborate. Since Thor is ready for his big-screen adaptation which will drop on theaters next year, producers of the movie decided to change the way Thor speaks. This means no more "thee" or "thou" from this badass character. I know it's kind of a letdown because fans of the comic Thor (not Thor the Comedian but the Thor in comics) know that this is what set the Norse god of thunder from other Avengers.

Still, the drop in "thou" count should be well compensated for by stunning sets if we are to trust Iron Man 2 director John Favreau. Even Marvel Comics boss Joe Quesada is said to be impressed by the sets made for the movie. Also, Joseph Gatt who will star as a villain in the Thor film adaptation is equally impressed by the great job done by the designers and carpenters on the movie set. I guess the designers and carpenters who worked on the set used to read the Thor comics back in the day thus the good and inspired job.

Also, the star power of this movie is more than good enough to put butts on movie theater seats. Samuel L. Jackson !, Anthony Hopkins, and Rene Russo will be playing major roles in this movie. Chris Hemsworth will play the role of Thor and hopefully for the franchise, he can hammer down the competition in the box office.

Transformers 3 Movie

Finally, fan favorite Bumblebee will have more airtime in a Transformers movie. The next installment to this franchise is scheduled to drop next year and already, fans can hardly wait for the flick. We all know that Avatar has taken advantage of recent CGI tricks. With that in mind, can you imagine how good would the effects be in this latest Transformers movie? I can't. Although I have a good idea summed up in one word: awesome!

Transformers 3: You Know You're Waiting For This

Shia LeBeouf will be back along with Megan Fox. Of course, with the success of the first two movies, Michael Bay will surely be back, after all the producers would pay a lot for Bay to come back for this third installment. Tyrese Gibson will also reprise his role.

Apart from Bumblebee getting more exposure in this action/adventure/sci-fi flick, it is also rumored that more time will be given to shed light on the story behind the main robot characters, something that the franchise did not bother to do in the first two movies. Michael Bay is also rumored to be leaning towards moving getting rid of Megan Fox's character. Hmmm…I know some people would totally be not in favor of this. But discerning Transformers fans would surely love that the robots will be given more attention this time around.

Megamind aka Oobermind has recently been announced a release date, so you can expect it in theaters on November 5, 2010. The there have also been updates into the plot and synopsis so this is for all of you who want an early sneak-peek :

In a world populated with superheroes a villain named MegaMind (Will Ferrell) finally defeats his rival Metro Man (Brad Pitt). Unfortunately after the feat MegaMind well he goe in depression over having nobody to battle anymore. His solution? why not make a new superhero, Titan (Jonah Hill). The ironic twist to this comic story is that the hero doesn't really want to be the good guy and now there are two villains... Will Ferrel do the right thing and save the inhabitants of the city??

Ferrell is Robert Downey Jr's replacement for the main role and had the following comment on the name change.

"That change I can accept and even think it’s for the better, but Oobermind is just far more original than MegaMind. On the other hand, I’d go for MegaMind over the film’s original working title, Master Mind. I know it’s just a title, but what’s wrong with a little creativity once in a while?
