3 Shades of Blue was given the opportunity to spend the weekend up in the Poconos playing worship for the Saint Matthews Lutheran Church youth group. We had an awesome time hanging out with the kids and teaching them some new songs including our own Love Will Sing Out and Hallelujah. It was a great weekend filled with music.

Hey Everyone!

We have been very busy the past couple months. We just finished recording our newest five song EP "Love Will Sing Out" in Nashville, Tennessee. We were able to invite our good friend Matthew DeSantis from Chewy Films to record the whole trip. There will be a video of the trip soon when the EP comes out. Other than the EP, we were able to be apart of a Battle Of The Bands in Philadelphia called In The Groove. Bands compete in multiple cities including Philadelphia, DC, and Boston. We were able to win the Philadelphia part of the competition and now we will be apart of a four city tour in march and may. We are very excited about everything going on right now and we can't wait to see what's going to happen next.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS UPDATE

3 SHADES OF BLUE has had the privilege of playing in three battle
of the bands in the last two months. There were two on April 24Th
and one May 6Th. May 6Th was played at our new school Owen J.
Roberts. We were able to have a great time and ended up winning
the gig. For first prize we are going to be able to play a concert
in Spring City in a Music cafe. We are very excited and hope to
see you there.

June 3rd we will be playing at The Strawberry Festival. We will
be playing with a band that played with us at the battle of the
bands April 24Th. We will be playing against this band
TheBlueRoom to determine a winner.

Ok so 3 SHADES OF BLUE is very excited because they just recorded a demo track 4-song CD. This is not a professionally recorded CD but we will be able to post it on our BLOG and WEBSITE so that you guys can listen to it. This four song EP CD, includes the songs RECUE ME, THE BROKEN HEARTED, and two new ones called, YOUR CHILD and ALL THE PRETTY GILRS. So keep updated on our blog and website so you can listen to the tracks. They should be on the website in a couple weeks!

These two video's were recorded in our basement/music-studio. This is our prayer originated from a bridge I wrote for a song we like to play. I then added some of own lyrics and new chord progressions and came up with this!

This video is just something we thought was cool. I added a sweet sound to it by getting an old bass drum pedal and using it to his the strings lightly kinda making a harmonic sound. I did that in the video up top. It's new and fun to try!

RESCUE ME
The lighting in this video is really dark but the audio is pretty good. The only problem is, you don't get the whole video. the song is cut off before it can finish. So, in a way it's like sample of the whole thing. Anyways, we thought it was time to have some more recent music posted that we didn't make when we were 12 years old. SEE YOU AT THE POLE!

We were invited to do a "SEE YOU AT THE POLE" worship morning at a middle school near us. It was great about 40 kids showed and we just got to spend some time worshiping with them.

I brought my guitar and Austin brought his guitar and Jesse brought a bongo drum. It was a lot of fun! Thanks for inviting us Tyler.
