1. Drinking tea today to replenish fluids. Told to do this after yesterday’s surgery.
2. Resting. Aches and pains every time I move, so trying not to!
3. Music. Discovering and listening to music with apps on the laptop.

1. Enjoying an Irish soda far for breakfast. A change from toast or crumpets and quite delicious.

2. Getting to the bus stop at the same time as a bus. During the day the wait is seldom more than a few minutes, but no edit at all is even better.

3. Seeing my efforts growing in the back garden as seedlings turn to plants and grow bigger each day

1. Although I am less than a mile from one of the world’s busiest airports, there are many quiet moments like now, when I can the songs of many different birds.

3. The last day at work before a long weekend break.

1. Making all the bus connections on the way home with no waiting.

2. After an overcast morning, the sun comes out when I finish work.

3. The lamb sandwich I had for Lunch, which was excellent.

2. A Bacon sandwich for breakfast, along with some brown sauce.

3. A quiet day at work.

1. How quiet and peaceful it is on the road early on a Sunday morning.

2. Eating a bunch of succulent juicy grapes.

3. How uplifting this continuing wonderful fine weather is. Just being in the sunshine is great.

1. The Tomato & Basil Pasta I bought in Sainsbury’s for lunch was excellent. I’m not one for often prepared food, and it exceeded expectations.
2. A large Cafe Latte at Costa Coffee, by Richmond Rail Station went down a treat, and made a relaxing half hour at lunchtime.
3. Standing at the bus stop by Richmond Station, the early afternoon sunshine was really pleasant and warm, even though the temperature is only 51F.

1. A lovely sunny winters day. Always lifts the spirits when the sun is shining, even if it’s not a warm day.
2. Google Talk helps to shrink the miles between loved ones.
3. A hearty cooked breakfast of bacon,eggs, sausages, baked beans and toast.

1. A walk in the rain. Ok, I’m not a great fan of it, but it was quite mild for January, and snow is nowhere to be seen, and that pleases me no end!
2. Cooking sausages and potatoes for breakfast, after a 12 hour fast for bloodwork this morning. It wasn’t so much the twelve hours fast really, but having to go out without any breakfast that was unsettling!
3. A phone call with a start date for my new job. This ends months of semi idleness and a distinct lack of funds.
